When COVID hit I started taking advantage of Truffles home delivery service and was delighted with price, quality and taste. This past weekend I ordered a picnic pack for 2 people to be delivered to Sea Cider as part of a yoga experience and I was blown away. So many special little treats and tastes. Excellent quantity for price and super fresh. What a great option to add onto a staycation or order for a special event or date night.

Truffles was recommended to me by my sister while my husband and I were visiting her in Victoria. It was his birthday and I wanted to make sure he had a wonderful dinner. With the current situation in the world I knew a dinner at home with our family would be my best bet. I called and spoke with Sheldon at Truffles and he was AMAZING!! He helped me plan a great meal for 11 of us, and even worked with their chef to have west coast crab added to our menu. The food arrive right when he said it would and we only had to grill the meat. Oh and the food was fantastic!! Plenty for all of us with left overs too. I’m so appreciate for the great customer service and food. Definately recommend using Truffles!!!

Absolute disappointment. My family and I went for a lunch at Royal Roads and the food was sad, and the customer service was atrocious. We will not be eating there again any time soon. Not only did they forget one of our orders, when I went to receive my order the cook was quite rude and inconsiderate.

We hired Truffles for our wedding. Taryn coordinated and organized everything according to our tastes. We had half of our family from Canada and half from the northwestern US and tastes varied widely. 1/3 to half the family is vegetarian and 3/4 to half love meat and fish. We couldn't have been happier with the food and presentation. Hosts were helpful and always available but not in the way. The Salmon and beef was cooked perfectly and the variety of salads was amazing. It is not often that my family praises a caterer so much - it is very hard to meet all of our needs. We also enjoyed the dessert (so many options and fruit too!) and they were able to work with us on our specifics. Reliable, detailed and flexible. An excellent combination! Thank you Truffles!

Truffles Catering provided wonderful food in individualized boxes for the Leadership Victoria-hosted 2021 Victoria Community Leadership Awards gala on Sept 15/2021. The individual boxes met the dietary preferences of attendees and provided a precaution again Covid-19. Everything was elegant and delicious. From the get-go, Truffles staff were helpful and professional; the food was outstanding; and service was terrific. Very happy to recommend.

JP personalized chef delivery to our Chateau, thanks ! Our Wedding Warriors appreciated the food after the wedding performance. The next day delivery of the buffet.. in freezer ready packaging.. we are stocked... we demolished the deserts for 41 in 3 days between 12 of us... we loved it... thanks for above and beyond. We wish you well. Anyone needing delish home cooked deliveries need to know you Rock the Safety and the taste and interesting flavours are beyond compare... Heidi thanks for the quick communications and options and positive can do attitude... Bravo Team Truffles. OMG just tasted the turkey broth we made from the bones of our turkey leg feast... heavenly.. into ice cube trays it goes for future feedings... Thanks Truffles Catering you are feeding us long term too. June 20 we had a safe distance social in our backyard with our Best Man and Maid of Honour families and again Truffles we enjoyed the steaks so carefully packaged for freezing we did sous vide to keep your perfect cook…

Summary: delicious food delivered on time. Note: I have only experienced their meal catering, not their event catering. It's not easy finding the right gifts to be delivered, and Covid made travel an issue. I needed something interesting for my mom, and Truffles provided an exceptional solution. Great food was prepared and delivered with no problems. Easy to follow instructions accompanied the dinners, and that was a blessing. The food lasted a couple of nights in the fridge with no loss of quality, and a couple of items were bought for freezer storage, and they worked out well a while later, too. I'm recommending Truffles to many people and will be using it again in the future!

Everyone in business is begging for local support through Covid, then gouging with hidden costs. Am I the only one who doesn't think this is right? We're supposed to all be in this together.

Hi..you catered a wedding recently at Hatley Castle..my sons wedding. The service was impeccable from the lemonade in champagne glasses to fish tacos at 10 pm. More than enough food..my grandson ate all the bread sticks so I didnt get to try those. Salmon was done perfectly! Two suggestions if I may....the steaks were way overcooked and the hot food could have been hotter. Dessert table was lovely... fresh fruit, pastries..loved everything. All was done so eloquently and professional...thankyou.

Part 1/2 Honestly, I had wanted to give them 4 stars if not 5 for the initial experience my husband and I had, but I simply cannot after how it has been from the business aspect of the company. Originally, we were working with the event coordinator/planner named Adam (this was in April), and he was amazing and helpful with what we wanted for our wedding dinner, including accommodating certain changes for our menu. We had a great experience with what he showed us in-person. We had no problems with anything, cost was noted and reasonable and altered to reflect the changes. He also kept in touch with us through email until his last message to us that he was leaving the company for better things but reassured us that we would be taken care of by another coordinator named Jannine. Now, up to that point, no problem. He told us around mid-August and our wedding wasn't until late September anyways. Closer to our wedding date, my husband messaged Jannine to check up on things. When we tried calling the company several times for her as well, we were told a) she works from home, and b) she doesn't have a phone number to reach her at where she works from home. It was a slight worry, but eventually we did hear from her and fast forward, we're on the wedding day. First off, I must note that the food was great and the staff serving were amazing as well, except one flaw with the fresh sliced fruit small plate. It not only cost $65, it was also not around for the time at the canapés/refreshment hour that we had planned for our wedding. In addition, when it was presented with the wedding cake and cupcakes, the "small plate" was indeed a small paper 8" plate that had very sad looking grapes, sliced watermelons and other melons, strawberries and sliced oranges and some blueberries. It was honestly so small and sad looking that even the guests did not realize it was part of what we had intended to serve, but thought it was just some decor. Another issue came up with the business. My husband who was mainly the one interacting with the catering company, was then charged an extra $280+ amount on his card (after the wedding), without warning nor a previous receipt/contractual proposal or understanding of why it was of that amount, but just a "hey, it's us, and we're charging this much on your card, bye" type of email. He calculated and estimated at most we would've been charged an extra $50 to $70 due to an extra plate, but not at over $200. Right away, he called them about it but the company went away for vacation and wouldn't be back to two weeks so we had to wait.

Truffles works with the funeral home that we used for a family member's funeral. We were given a menu that did not appear on the webpage for Truffles so I wasn't sure what things would actually look like. We were so very impressed with what arrived! The tea sandwiches looked beautiful and were delicious, the bread was so fresh. The fruit platter had perfectly ripe fruit, the cookies and bars were not only tasty but also presented in a lovely manner. The cheese platter impressed us the most, an amazing variety of cheeses served with breads, crostini and crackers. Thanks so much to Truffles for their great service! Highly recommend them!

Not only did Alistair and his team jump in and do everything we needed to pull off an amazing day, but the food and wine were absolutely fantastic - what a wonderful experience.
