Serving staff was really nice and welcoming. I have no complaints and only good things to say about them, but the food wasn’t at all good. I got the corn cakes, and they were outright disgusting. It had a blueberry syrup that tasted like rubbing alcohol, candied jalapeños that were as gross as it sounds, and some weird imitation of whipped cream that simply tasted like spoiled milk. The smoothies was alright, but I wouldn’t go back.

The communication leading up to the event was great, Jon answered my many questions and always responded quickly. Their catering team was fantastic, food was delicious, and put out a great selection for us that catered to everyone’s needs. Google maps doesn't show this spot when you type in Picnic, you have to type Picnic Too, they should fix that.

Fall in love with picnic too with first time visit. Ordered the curry chicken bowl with half green and half brown rice. The portion was generous; the bowl was tasty and nutritious. It was also a good place to work or study. Many people seem to treat it as a library. The washroom was clean. Overall experience was nice!

I really wanted to love this spot, but after 3 negative experiences I just cannot. This morning I ordered a cold brew and breakfast sandwich. No sense of urgency amongst the staff, waited almost 20 minutes for a single sandwich. When I received it had one half strip of bacon and one measly dab of mayo. The breakfast sandwich I got before was on a different style bun, so I was disappointed it was not consistent and this bun was much more messy. A woman ordered after me yet received her order before as well. If staff are standing around up front, maybe they can stay out of view or do something to help the kitchen staff as the wait for food is far too long for anyone in the morning or on a lunch break.

What a great bunch of people to deal with and a beautiful product! I sent a Vegan Picnic Basket to my daughter for her birthday. The staff customized it for her with a vegan birthday brownie and delivered it. It made her day. It was a simple way to send a gift to someone living in Victoria Thank you Picnic Too!

There are so many places in Victoria to try that we don’t usually make it to the same place more than a few times, this however will be an exception. Partially due to the location but mainly because of the surprisingly delicious food experience we had.

POOR costumer service for first visit. Waited at counter for about 5 minutes while 3 staff ignored me. Only 1 was busy with another costumer. Had to ask if I could order something. Staff looked at me like I said something wrong. Ordered 1 each of featured 16 oz (smaller size) kombucha from menu advertised at $4.50. The woman charged me $14 something. Corrected her and she changed it. Proceeded to pour me 2 small plastic cups half full. I asked why and she said "we don't have 10 oz cups" I told her that I paid for 2 16 oz cups because the menu said 16 oz for $4.50. She shrugged and said "must be an error on the menu." Didn't offer to fill my little cups or apologize. Attitude and apathetic. Won't be returning.

Do not order the fruit of the minute. I waited 20mins total for what was half a grapefruit overcooked with some almond shavings on it. I thought I was going to get a plate of fruit ( fruit in the plural). It was really sad and waste of my time and money. That being said the sandwiches and salads I have had here before have been amazing. So I am not sure what happened here.

We recently ordered from here 2 weekends in a row and it was amazing. My bf tried two different breakfast sandwhiches and both were big and full of flavour. I got the gluten free breakfast sandwhich that (i think) came on homemade gf bread that was nice and soft but held together. It was sooo good i had to get it again the following weekend. Their iced lattes are delicious and you NEED to try the smashed potatoes. Salty and such a nice texture. Im sad we are moving further away from this place but we will be back! Oh and try the smoothie bowls too!

Ok so now I just started enjoying Picnic Too not long ago and well it's probably in my top 3 for favorite breakfast spots. I find I can always get a seat and the ambience here is comforting, calming and inviting. Highly recommend the classic picnic if you're undecided. However trust me when I say it doesn't matter what you get you wont be disappointed.

Picnic Too is my favourite place for a morning coffee meeting, a quick, tasty, healthy, reasonably priced lunch with an ever changing menu which means it never gets boring, or that weekend splurge on a doughnut. Not to mention brunch and evening tapas now! But for me, what makes Picnic Too special is the ability to rent the space after hours for staff parties. Jon and Melissa always make our events cosy, fun and special with such a delicious spread of foods. I love supporting good people doing good things, locally. <3

Picnic Too is a weekend favourite for my wife and I. Their weekend breakfast menu, which can also be found during the week before 11am, is filled with delicious breakfast sandwiches, bowls/hashes, and more! They make a killer americano and have kombucha on tap. Don’t forget to start a stamp card here! The space, much like the other location, is decorated in a warm, geometric fashion, and sports an animal friendly, rhino head mount. Be sure to give this place a try, whether you are meeting friends for coffee, looking for a place to study, or just looking for a tasty bite.

Being greeted directly by a barista from the door is very inviting, the chairs are comfy, so far great selection of music and the coffee isn't bad either! This is a bit of secret gem in Victoria! My partner and I went for breakfast during primo Victoria brunch time (Sunday at 10am) and were able to have our choice of seats. The décor is earthy, the music is great, and we were greeted with smiles. It's counter service, so pick what you want from the delicious menu options (the corned beef hash and the chorizo hash are both fantastic) and then order at the counter. The coffee is also excellent and espresso beverages quickly made. It was a great experience and a nice change from the usual 20+ minute wait at the more popular spots around town. Definitely recommend!

This is my go to for easy, low-maintenance, delicious local eats. Often find myself there on weekend mornings after just rolling out of bed and feeling too lazy to make myself breakfast or coffee. Nestled in the 1000 block of cute and adorable antique row (Fort St), it is the perfect addition to the neighborhood. Stylish cafe with reasonably tasty americanos and flavorful brunch type cuisine. Possibly the best value for good quality food in the City (I.e., you don't feel u need to take out a second mortgage to afford to eat there regularly). Excellent music, tasty house-made doughnuts, non-judgy staff and friendly owner and all gender restrooms. Couldn't ask for more in a local haunt.
