Food for thought was everything you want in a caterer! They had great suggestions about portion size for the number of people we were having, all the food was DELICIOUS and everyone at the event kept asking who the caterer was! Great value and great food, HIGHLY recommend!

For our wedding reception dinner at Sea Cider, Food for Thought was very quick to reply to my request for a sample menu that was an entirely vegetarian buffet. I recognize that such a request might be difficult for some caterers, but Food for Thought really pulled through and were very accommodating. The dinner itself was delicious! They also made it easy to add on rental tablecloths for a couple forgotten tablecloths last minute, which helped reduce my stress a lot.

We had our wedding at Sea Cider and chose Food For Thought as our caterer because they had the most flexible options and were willing to work with our vision. The entire process with FFT was smooth and easy. Tim, the chef, called us multiple times to discuss the menu and was so accommodating. On our wedding day, the staff were top notch. My only regret is that I didn't take down their names to rave about them - and that we didn't get any left overs from our event haha! Guests told us that the food was tasty, fresh, and unique - which is such excellent feedback. In addition, the cost didn't break our bank, which is ideal in this crazy expensive wedding world! Beyond satisfied with Food for Thought. We chose the 'Summer BBQ' option for our wedding of 50, and added a charcuterie board and fresh-chucked oysters for cocktail hour. The guests were raving and we were able to take any leftovers home (awesome bonus). All the food was fresh, local and flavourful. Tim was our point person from start to finish and Patrick led the team the day of the wedding. Both were so friendly, accommodating, professional and prompt. There were nice touches like bouquets of flowers on the catering tables. Would hire these guys again in a heartbeat!

We just celebrated our 50th Anniversary and used Food for Thought Catering for the first time. The food was absolutely amazing! Likewise, the service was just as great. When I ordered they were super busy and asked if we'd pick up instead of having them deliver....we agreed. Wow, they had everything packaged so well and easy instructions on heating before serving...it went off without a glitch! We would highly recommend using Food for Thought Catering....I know we will again in the future!

We are so INCREDIBLY grateful to Food For Thought for really coming through for us last minute. We decided to move our indoor wedding to outdoors 6 weeks before the day and didn't have a caterer #notrecommended #covidwedding. One of the most important areas of a wedding (other than the love ;)) is the FOOD! Our guests raved about the quality, variety and taste of our buffet. Each staff member from Food For Thought was kind, friendly, accommodating and professional. We had no leftovers, our guests were stuffed and the overall cost didn't hurt our wallet. We used them for our wedding and they were tremendous and easy to work with. Our wedding had to get moved at the last minute but for them it was no problem and worked with us to help make it an easy transition. The food was also very delicious and many of the guests commented on how good the food was. I would definitely recommend them to anyone planning a wedding or an event that needs a caterer!

FFT did a vegan buffet for our wedding and it was nothing short of outstanding. We live overseas and they assisted us with everything from afar and there wasn't a single scrap of food left after our party of 30 tucked in on the big day. They added on extras such as tables, chairs and cutlery which made life much easier, and even help us with setting up our own decorations on the day. Great value. Great dishes. Great staff.

We used Food for Thought for our wedding last weekend and I am beyond pleased with how everything went. Tim was my point of contact and he was friendly, prompt in his responses and super helpful in helping us make decisions. We ordered canapés and I was a little nervous we wouldn’t have enough food but we had so much and even some leftover. The price was exceptional especially since it included set up , take down, table and cutlery rentals, staff and gratuity. Emily and Patrick worked the event and they were so professional, friendly and excellent workers. We will for sure use Food for Thought again and again! Thank you to the whole team!

We just had my daughter's wedding catered by Food For Thought Caterers last weekend. I cannot begin to express my thanks to Tim and the staff. We started planning a couple of years ago and the wedding finally came together. Food for Thought was part of the planning from the beginning. Their professionalism (and prices) did not waver from start to finish. It was an outdoor wedding and reception at the bride and groom's (and mother's) home. The caterers came in and set up everything and looked after everyone until the end of the night. The food was excellent with a variety of choices offered. My daughter and son in law chose the salmon and steak and there was also a vegetarian option for the main course selections. This along with their choices of innovative salads, roast potatoes and pastries were all delicious. As mother of the bride I missed the appies but all had great reviews. The great service continued until late as the reception went on until the wee hours and I am sure the young staff (who were excellent) stayed past their allotted time to assure all was well. Everything was picked up on Monday all without work on our end. Again, everything was looked after seamlessly from beginning to end. I highly recommend Food For Thought Caterers. Thanks again to Tim and staff.

They were prepared to work within the necessary precautions, and everything went really smoothly! The food was delicious and all our guests loved it! We chose the summer bbq menu, which was perfect for our barn venue. Would highly recommend!

We are delighted with FFT's Kitchen To Table 2 Menu options for weekly delivery. Friday night dinner has become such a treat at our house. Great entrees with salad and desert combos for a more than reasonable price. Last night's porchetta dinner was a hit.Thanks Tim and Chef Kev.

We used Food for Thought for our daughters wedding in our backyard about 3 weeks ago. We couldn't have asked for a better experience, the foods was awesome, my daughter was very impressed on how they made special food for people with special needs. Tim was very professional, we did have one issue and Tim was right on it, and assured me everything would be alright which it was. The staff were professional and easy to approach if I had any questions. The day couldn't have been any better. Thank You Food for Thought.

Well. Preparing a menu is stressful. I started dealing with another company. But it was like pulling teeth and the cost was high. I contacted Tim and in a matter of 15 minutes we had a menu and price set. He was very helpful and sound very genuine. I have not tried the food yet if it’s half as good as this companies customer relation is should be fantastic. Thanks food for thought for making it so streamlined.

FFT was one of the caterers recommended to us and we are happy we went with them. They are super flexible and easy to work with. The buffet selection is great as we didn’t want the stress to have to choose every single menu item separately plus the kids love buffet a lot. With the pandemic, our guest count was reduced significantly and Tim still made everything work for us. Our guests loved the food and the lemonade so much. The catering staff and bartender were truly a pleasure to have at our wedding – they provided excellent service and were very polite!
