I've been curious about this place for a few months now, and today when I ended up without a lunch I finally had the opportunity to try it out -- and I'm so glad I did! This place was an incredibly nice surprise. Sometimes there's the perception that healthy or fitness-focused food will always be bland or unexciting, but that's definitely not the case here. I had the pork patty (delicious, juicy, flavourful, well-seasoned) with yams, asparagus, and coconut sauce and it was SCRUMPTIOUS. I'm not usually the biggest pork fan, but the owner (very welcoming and no-nonsense) asked right away if I wanted to taste some before committing, and after one bite I was sold. I felt fantastic after eating this meal; great macros (lots of protein), very calorie-conscious, and apparently they're allergy-conscious to boot! The owner was happy to explain how everything worked when I told her it was my first time in, and I felt full and happy all afternoon. This is a fantastic option on days when you're not able to bring a lunch to work but you don't want to feel gross after eating something pumped full of salt/sugar/fat from a more typical restaurant. Good to know that you can get a meal out in downtown Victoria where you can be confident that you're still meeting your goals. I'll definitely be back!

I love the personal connection the owner seems to take with each visitor. Friendly, open space. Food was great!! For someone trying to eat healthy downtown, but who doesnt always have enough time to pack a lunch - this is great! And fast! Everything is fresh, never frozen, and tasty!

I am blown away with the quality of food, price and customer service. I often work 12 hour days and finding quality nutrition after a long shift can be tough. Fit fix has been a staple for my nutrition. The owners are so friendly and kind too, it feels great to support such a hard working business during these tough times. Thank you for everything fit fix! I’m all for supporting local services. The concept is great and I actually found out I have been to this establishment a few years back for quick lunches and didn’t have any issues for a simplistic meal. However I feel when we support a business we are supporting their belief system, the owners, the message they stand for and bleed into our wonderful community. I can not support a man that owns a local business and goes out of his way to cyber bully complete strangers. The owner, Jakub comments on women’s appearances, calls them “bimbos” and bad mother’s without meeting them and does it publicly for their children and loved ones to see. I support change, I support kindness and “Fit Fix Cafe” is none of these things due to its leadership. I’m sorry I would never recommend this business to anyone who wants to contribute to actual health and this finds us in all forms. Saddening. Especially for us women and those raising young women. My hope is this small business changes the way they interact with the community. I understand we all have room to grow, all of us. An apology would of been sufficient but we all know we can not change what we don’t acknowledge and blaming women for having social media “that’s why they are offended” or “it’s known knowledge he doesn’t like women augmenting their bodies” is not accountability it’s gaslighting and women in our community deserve so much more! All the best in the future. Here’s to change!

I rarely post reviews but this was so disappointing. Why? Bland microwaved TV dinner on plastic. Protein kept unrefridgerated, possibly not food safe. Bad lighting, no music, unfriendly service. Too bad.

I was referred to Fit Fix Cafe from a co worker, and all I can say is THANK YOU to that co worker for showing me this fabulous place! I have now had 3 meals from them and I have not been disappointed! The cajun chicken and cajun steak are my faves! When you crave your lunch or dinner you know its that good! I love that you can make changes to suit your preferences. Jakub and Cyntra are wonderful people, extremely friendly! Very accommodating! I love visiting them on my weekly pick ups :)

So.Amazing. I literally just make a google gmail account so I could comment about this place. First time i had ever been and I decided to get a bowl of soup WELLLLLL let me tell you, I was sitting by myself actually wishing I had someone to eat with so I could talk about how amazing the soup was ( Moroccan chickpea). I then went up to the owners and asked if it was their recipe and sure enough it was. Then Jakub gave me a ladle full of the other soup they had on to try (squash ginger carrot i think) and it was just as good! I can not say enough about the soup! I am excited to try the other meals they offer if the seasoning is anything like their soup. I think this is a really different, neat idea for a cafe and I really hope they do well. I WILL BE BACK!
