Ordered the jerk chicken, southern wings, rice and beet salad for 11 people. They were prompt, portions were generous - but most importantly they were accommodating to my office budget and gave suggestions. They ensured me it would be enough food (I was nervous it wouldnt be enough). The jerk chicken was tasty. I was expecting more sauce, but it didn't need it - it was tender and flavourful. but i have to say (for myself at least) the WINGS are NEXT LEVEL. Do yourself a favour and order the wings!!!!! Also, the beet salad was surprisingly good. I was expecting a simple spinach and beet salad with nothing fancy, but the addition of chopped asparagus (perfectly crispy) and olives - and im not a fan of olives - but with the dressing.... it was sooo good. Rice was really warm and comforting. Ordering again. Only request is to also offer beef patties and festival!

Best Carribean BBq I've ever had. Everything from the chicken jerk to the meatloaf, spinach salad, beans tastes like Mom's cooking. The BBQ sauce is the best. I hope Stephen decide to make and market his BBQ sauce separately. The food is healthy, not greasy and is always filling.

It was so amazing!!! Everyone loved the food! Really good seasoning for the jerk, more savoury and salty, as opposed to some people's recipes which are too sweet and saucy. The pork was our biggest surprise with the smoky taste and the delicious pineapple sauce! The delivery was right on time and there were plates and napkins and serving utensils provided, which we was an unexpected attention. Thank you very much for your superior service????

I have been fortunate enough to have eaten Stephen's barbecue in the past so when he started up Tastebuds Caribbean Barbecue I had to be sure I became a customer. I ordered the bacon mac and cheese, red beans and rice and of course the scrumptious jerk chicken! The process from ordering to the delivery was very easy and Stephen delivered on his promise to meet the deadline even though he was out of town. I booked Tastebuds Caribbean BBQ for my husband's 50th birthday. I booked solely based on the excellent reviews I read online, and I was not disappointed. The food was outstanding! Stephen was so accommodating. He delivered everything on time and set it all up so quickly and efficiently! The food was hot and tasted so delicious! We ordered the beef brisket (definitely a must!!), the jerk chicken (spicy and sooo good) along with the mac and cheese, beans and pomegranate salad. Everything was top quality and tasted amazing. Wow, was amazing! My adult kids ordered for Mother's Day, the Jerk Chicken, Herb & Garlic Chicken and the Mac & Cheese, were all to die for! The flavors the healthy way they are cooked just added more to it! We will definitely be ordering more items in the future, we all would like to try just about EVERYTHING on the menu! I hired Tastebuds to cater our wedding this past weekend, and they hit it right outta the park!! Owner/chef Stephen was very responsive with my emails, and was very understanding that the number of people attending our wedding would pretty much be up in the air due to Covid restrictions until the last minute. We started with an estimate of 120 people and actually invited 174, in the end it was only 80. He didn’t pressure me at all to provide him with final numbers ahead of time, and he didn’t charge me a thing for ending up with a much smaller wedding than we signed up for. We also ended up moving our wedding by one week at the very last minute, and I thought there was no way Stephen would be able to accommodate us! Instead he actually ended up going out of his way to call me DURING his family vacation just to let me know that even though he was already fully booked on my new date that he would cater our wedding and not to worry about a thing. Let me tell you, everyone at the wedding RAVED about the food!!! We chose the brisket, southern chicken, and garlic roasted potatoes and everything was delicious. Even though his price was more reasonable than most other quotes I got, there was more than enough food to go around and we left with tons of leftovers, including a little bit of brisket which people went back for seconds and thirds so I don’t know how there was still any left. He was able to accommodate for all dietary restrictions including my celiac uncle as he makes every single thing from scratch. We also had a sample of the jerk chicken and although it was too spicy for my husband, I thought it was outstanding. I hope I get the opportunity to try his mac n cheese one day!! Thanks so much Stephen (and wife Heather who served the food at the wedding) - you guys are the best!!!!

My family has ordered from Tastebud's twice, once at Thanksgiving and once at Christmas. Of the three platters we ordered, all of them were excellent. The food was well seasoned, juicy and delicious. The items we ordered came hot and the portions were large as well. I look forward to trying some of Steve's other BBQ creations. Give it a try!

I just want to say that Steve is the best! Not only is he one of the most personable and kind people I know; he makes all his food with love; Cooking is truly his passion! My husband and I are both vegan and truly enjoy his smoked tofu (ask him for his homemade bbq to smother it in...you won’t regret it!). We have had the tofu on a number of occasions and I assure you, he makes it with the same amount of care and attention to detail as he does his chicken, brisket, etc! This was a very easy way to host a get together. Ordered for a rum tasting party of 20 people. Food was delicious, arrived precisely on time and was plentiful - had leftovers. We had the jerk chicken, pork tenderloin, rice and peas as well as two types of salads. Guests were especially fond of the pork tenderloin.

Tastebuds Caribbean absolutely knocks it out of the park each and every time me and my friends order. Ribs were piping hot and fall off the bone upon delivery and the split whole roasted chicken was rubbed down with a spice that was out of this world and will make your taste buds stand at attention.
