Similar to Subway's counter-service but with Mexican ingredients to customize your own burrito or rice bowl instead of sandwich. Those who are wheat-free & meat-free can get a tasty meal here. Expect to spend about $11 for a regular size portion, which is really enough to feed 2 non-Texans. You'll get a choice of rice, beans, & protein (Beyond, chicken, beef or pork) with a good variety of other toppings. Not every topping in the counter is labelled but don't be shy to ask or try them. Full range of spice available in the hot sauce bar. Note to Owner: One thing that could help improve the efficiency & accuracy of ordering is to have customers fill in an order sheet that lists all the options (like the Freshii restaurants) before they approach the counter and hand in the card with checked off items to indicate what they want. That way 1st-timers won't hold up the line while they figure out what all the toppings & fillings are and less confusion wil occur when there's trouble communicating verbally.

I'm at work eating the burrito I ordered early this afternoon and OMG the pulled pork is extremely salty. I paid $3 extra for it and it is extremely salty. ???????? Not worth $3 extra and over powered the rest of the ingredients.

As far as chain mexican food goes, Mucho serves hot, fresh and flavoufull food. A good assortment of meats, toppings and sauces. The price's are reasonable, and the service is usually fast. Best burrito in town.

The ghost pepper burrito. I had it in a bowl. There is a tag on the sign saying Make It Hotter Then Hell. So I got that because fast food hot food is usually a joke. Yeah it wasn't a joke. VERY hot and tasty.

This location seems to always be very clean the few times iv been in so I do appreciate that, but the staff come off like they really hate it when you walk into the door and always say " what do you want" or nothing at all.. not that hard to say " what can I get for you today?" It just sounds so much better then a sassy hurry up and tell me what you want with a smug look. The food is never constant some times you get a good amount and sometimes you just get whatever they have left over and don't want to make more. So if you want to feel welcomed just go next door to Starbucks and be served by people who actually want to.

Responding to Mucho Burrito message: Eat in but most tables were left dirty. Ingredients in the burritos we ordered we're not hot and they were not grilled long enough to make a difference either. We won't go back to this restaurant but we love our local Airdrie Mucho Burrito. Even the Sherwood Park Mucho Burrito was great two weeks ago.

They dont even deserve one star since this place is pathetic and employees are way rude to talk and ask for anything. A person spending 12 dollar on full meal gets only a little or I should say only a snack to taste. I would never recommend this place. They sell raw rice and beans smell so bad. One can notice from smell the food is not fresh. Eyukist and worst experience ever had in my life.

It's really gone downhill, half the meat that I used to get here and about 10 beans. The muchos on the south side (tammerack and Calgary trail) give you way more meat got less meat on a mucho here than on a regular in tammarack

Not the greatest atmosphere in the restaurant; it seemed to be a bit dark. It was quite noisy too and ordering was a bit challenging as it was hard to hear what the staff member was asking me. However, the service was quick and efficient and friendly. The burrito I had was really good, although I spilled bean juice all over myself - lol - but that's on me. I thought my food was fresh, flavourful and good value for the money. Would recommend this location on the food alone and we plan to go back again.

I love Mucho Burrito. This one manages to keep great veggies until close. Keep your eye out as different ones focus on different parts of the chain. If you love ghost pepper some locations offer more ghost pepper options than others, etc.

The cooked veggies for the burritos are often undercooked, which is okay for the fresh peppers but large uncooked onion chunks are not appetizing. The white rice is sometimes dried out and grains are so hard they hurt your teeth. The concept is great but if you are not there during peak times the food is not as good as it could be.

Beef Barbacoa Bowl was good but a little spicier than I thought. It is better than Taco Bell, no issue on that front. I get the recipes, preparation, prices are to be followed by head office, but a couple of more cheese options would be helpful, and maybe less spice in the recipe could go a long way. Good location, decent service, and overall good product, but just a couple of minor concerns that are probably beyond the store's control.

Used to love coming here, recently went back, and the service was disappointing to say the least. Most of the toppings on my tacos werent even on top but rather on the side and falling off. What is there to say about this place? Best burrito in Waterloo hands down and believe me I tried them all. Great atmosphere, the owner is so friendly and everything is freshly made. What I really like is that you get a quality experience right from when you arrive. Plus as a bonus I can load up my burrito with all the hot salsa and sauces I could possibly want so if you like your spice this is the place to go. A few other reasons why I spend my money here is that they have a great selection of salsas and proteins. After they load up your burrito they mix the ingredients together and let me tell you this makes all the difference. A lot of places just load up and wrap your burrito leaving you getting one bite of rice, one bite of the rest of the ingredients but when it's all mixed together you get a balanced and flavourful experience. Did I mention everything is fresh? Also when they toast the burrito they actually flip it so it's toasted evenly on both sides. If you want great Mexican flavour I definitely recommend.

We have ordered twice from here through Skip the Dishes. The first order was pretty great, although they forgot to give us salsa for our quesadilla. The 2nd order was missing utensils, and the salsa AND the sour cream for our quesadilla. Slightly disappointing when each meal was over $65. Not sure if online orders are new to them but it seems so. Ordering from them through Skip the Dishes vs Uber Eats vs JustEat is all different. They have different customizations on each app and it’s a little confusing (ie. how many toppings and sauces you can add on tacos, etc). Ordering needs to be more consistent on the apps.

Worst quesadilla I've had in a looooong time. Didn't drain anything and slapped it on the grill. Everything was soggy and fell completely apart as soon as he cut it. 2 small portions or salsa which you are forced to ration extremely. Not worth the price of this and a burrito for my kid.

Used to love this place until,i bought a bowl and was eating it then felt something hard when i bite down appears to be glass ended up having do get dental work done to that area and a filling replaced! Mybee if you ended up knowingly breaking something around food , i suggest throwing out the portion of food instead of trying to pick through the food to find a broken pieces.You are a business after all you have high margins and throwing out some food wont break your franchised business, it might save you alot of money in the long run because legal battels get quite expensive at times.

Great fresh mexican food! Good sized portions. Friendly accommodating staff. Fun mexican music! Comfortable seating. Modern casual atmosphere. Very clean. Family friendly. Wheat/gluten and dairy free options available. I am into the burrito bowls. You can choose to do half of one kind of meat like chicken, and half another, like steak, too. The fresh lime and cilantro on the avocado guacamole is tasty. I am always happy and full when I leave. Thanks to the girls and guys at Peterborough's Mucho Burrito!

Hit and miss. For a Mexican restaurant, why should I have to pay 25 cents for a tablespoon of grated carrots? And, why is it such a big deal to request extra veggies? I opt out of the beans, rice and only get half the meat but it's an up-charge to ask for extra veggies? And once you go over your 'four' toppings, which I never heard of till now, it's an extra $. I like the food, generally the staff is friendly but they really give you the bare minimum of toppings. I understand food costs, but I've also opted out of many of the other standard fillings and then to be told it's an extra .25 for carrots....

Great place to eat! This location is always super clean, spacious and never busy when we’ve gone so there’s no wait! The staff are always friendly and do their job well. The food selection is quite big and offers a lot of choices, especially for the pickier variety of people like myself! You can customize your own or order a pre-selected kind of meal but customizing is the way to go and offers a lot of choices and variety!

We'll definitely go again. UPDATE: I hadn't been in a while and went back about a week ago. The food was mediocre at best.

My boyfriend and I like to stop here on our way home from camping trips. Seems to be hit or miss - sometimes the service is great/friendly and sometimes it’s not very friendly/sub-par food. Usually it’s great, but the last time we went I felt like I had to ask for a little extra of certain ingredients in the bowl because the person hardly added the items as they were running low (I get it, but I’m willing to wait for the ingredients to cook if I’m paying for the bowl), and the stir fry was basically slightly-heated raw vegetables.

Mucho Burrito is very tasty. I usually get the chorizo burrito. The staff at the Taylor Plaza location have always been friendly. If you've never been, the burrito sizes are huge, unless you're extremely hungry, a regular should suffice. The mucho burrito was the size of my head.

First time at this Franchise. Took a bit to understand how it worked and what I wanted. Service was ok. They allowed us time to make our choices. Got a build your own bowl with ancient grains. Careful getting them (ancient grains). Not sure if they were just undercooked or dried out at the end of the day....very hard and could break teeth. The bowl was delicious. They have Beyond Meat as a protein option. Very filling. Next time I will try a Quesada, they looked very good.

I love Mucho Burrito. They always knock these burritos out of the park every time. I don't think I've ever had anything less than a fantastic burrito from them. They do limit you to 4 extra topping from the specialty side of the ingredients, only charge $0.25 per extra ingredient, which is reasonable. Naturally I load up on coleslaw, salsa and pickled onions for that little bit of extra, totally worth it!

Horrible experience. won't be back again. We are regular customer of bar burrito but this time we thought of trying new and so tried mucho burrito. We ordered 2 mucho burrito(one with veggie and other one with beyond meat), three girls working in a line. one after another passing our burritos to each other. the last girl on the veggies section asked for the preference of veggies, but the girl did not mention anything about the limitation of the veggies which I wasn't aware that mucho comes with guac inclusive of 4 toppings. The time came for payment for our food where she charged us 25 cents extra for the toppings. Counter questioning her about it, she said it was already informed you before about the extra charges. Such a rude behaviour of the employee. I again rolled my eyes towards the pricing list, where there was nothing mentioned about the limitation of veggies. Again, it's not about money. It's about arguing, not apologizing and informing in advance about the limitation of veggies. The one who comes first time, won't know about the policies of franchisee, which customers will only be getting knowledge through staff members. Disappointing Situation....

I found a sharp plastic clip in my chicken rice bowl. See picture. That is very dangerous. I phoned and they called back and apologized. I know accidents happen in the food industry but you guys need to be careful. I could have broken a tooth or worse - swallowed it. I am showing a picture as proof of this. Click my profile to see it. I've had street corn in my bowl at Taco Fan in Maple Ridge BC. It was so delicious it changed the bowl from normal to a complete Mexican taste. I googled street corn. I love MB but the service at this location was rather dismal and frustrating: the employee taking our order was getting almost everything wrong - from the burrito size to the toppings to the sauces - as if they had just started that day AND couldn't hear us but also as if they were too prideful to provide verbal acknowledgment of anything. The supervisor was working just a few feet away, but didn't offer any help, even though the service was taking much longer than it should have and the employee clearly needed significantly more coaching. I would recommend MB, generally, just not this location.

In terms of Mexican fast-food this is the best in town, all the ingredients are fresh and there are a lot of sauces, salsa's and toppings for your burritos. They have a great selection of meats or for a lesser cost you can straight up just have the veggie option. They also have your standard soda's but they also have Jarritos which is like a Mexican soda that's generally citrus-y and made with cane sugar instead of corn syrup.

My husband and I brought my parents here for a quick bite to eat. They have lots of great options from burritos to quesadillas. They have several different kinds of mea. and toppings to choose from. This Orillia location is even liquor licenced if you want to wash it down with a cold one! The decor is rustic-industrial. The restaurant is very spacious and has lots of windows that allow great light. It has a nice atmosphere for dining in. The food was great and tasted fresh.

Not sure what I paid $19 for. I go to burrito bars as I am on a keto diet. Generally such places are great! I ask for no beans/rice and they typically overcompensate for this with other items (lettuce, cheese, fajita veg etc.) I always pay for the extra meat. I got two kinds of meat and it looked like one serving. The meat and fajita veg were freezing. For $19 I expected more food and better quality. Next time I will definitely be going to Qdoba-cheaper, big portions and no charge for guac. Looks like everyone else has had great experiences. Hoping I caught them on a rough day.

Updating a previously 5 star review ** I have frequented this location. Service is usually fast and food is good. However most recently my experience has turned me off of ever returning to this particular location. It all began when I requested a beyond meat burrito and the girl behind the counter told me they don't carry it, in tone suggesting that I should know this fact (there was no sold out sign on the menu to indicate this). To which I replied that it was fine.. I will get whatever is vegetarian. When I got down the line towards the toppings section I was passed off to another (obviously tired and irritated) employee. I indicated to her that I couldn't see what the topping choices were, so just give me everything and it will be fine. In my past experience with mucho burrito, it's like subway in that you can get whatever toppings you want for your burrito. HOWEVER she very aggressively responded "you only get three choices" "Okay... That's fine... But can you please tell me what they are... I can't see them" She proceeded to repeat this until I finally just said the only topping I could see and everytime I picked something and asked what else my options were, rather than answer me she would just indicate how many toppings I had left to choose from. I honestly wanted to leave half through making my wrap because this woman was so abrasive and triggered my anxiety so badly. Since when is there a 3 veggie topping limit? Why are these workers SO rude when I honestly just asked a simple question because I COULDN'T SEE MY CHOICES? I will likely never return to this location, I was so upset by this experience. If you want burritos near Orillia, make the drive somewhere else.. there are other options nearby.

The food was really good! However, even though my kids only wanted meat inside, no rice, no salad, nothing else, they sold me the biggest, more expensive burrito, arguing that it is the only one that could have meat. So i paid the most expensive burrito when it had only a mini portion of meat and theys didn't tried to find a better solution. When my kid asked for guacamole, they told us that it had an additional price, so we told the guy to put it anyway. My kid said that the portion was too small and i asked to have a little bit more but they said that the portion was like that... As far as I'm concerned it was very bad customer service and they didn't show empathy at all which might be a reflection of the culture of the company. I'm assumimg those are employees who are told to behave like that, to save 1 onz of avocado!

We shouldn't have to ask you to change your gloves after serving meat to create a veggie bowl. This should be standard practice. The first person dumped the bottom of the bucket of grains into the top of the new grains and they had clearly been sitting around for quite some time cuz they were hard and crunchy and dried out.

If you like burritos, fast service, healthy food and value. This is the place! Prices are just slightly higher them your typical fast food but the value you get for your money is excellent. The food tastes great and the music you hear walking up to the restaurant sets the tone right before stepping inside. Even writing this review is making me think about changing my lunch plans!

Today I placed an order for pick up for a shrimp burrito. Aware that it takes 10mins for the shrimp to be made I placed the order in advance so I wouldn’t have to wait. Order was confirmed and even though I was across the street at chiro and could see there wasn’t a customer in the store the order was confirmed to be ready 40mins from now because of “regular than busy service” even though there wasn’t a single person at the store at the time. I arrived at the location 10 minutes before the schedules picked up. Which barely left me with enough time to get to work. I waited in line for 5 minutes, then when asked what I was there for they looked clueless. They then said the order wasn’t supposed to be ready for another couple minutes and they would get on it. Few seconds later, they said it would be atleast 10 minutes for the shrimp to be cooked which was the entire reason the burrito was ordered in advance in the first place. I left without a burrito, lunchless and now on my way to my 12 hours shift as a paramedic on the ambulance without a meal. Regardless who I am I expect to be treated with respect and the staff were very rude when I said, I ordered in advance so it was ready at the scheduled time. Then when I pointed out the store was empty for the last 40minutes because I could see from my chiropractor bed across the street. I got an excuse about how it wasn’t busy and the debit terminals were down. I will not be returning to this location unless this problem is rectified. Fortunately there is another burrito location on my route to the city.

You knocked it out of the park. Ordered 3 regular beef burritos. One with guacamole. All we're excellent and stuffed full. Very friendly both the young girl and older gentleman working on Good Friday. Place is spotless. Has a large table if you decided to eat in. Regulars were plenty big enough you would have to be a really big eater to get through the mucho. All in for 3 and a guacamole add on $33.00 gave them $5. For a tip on top of that. See you again
