Usually don’t leave reviews but after the service I received I had to. Me and my friend were greeted by Hunter. I was having a tough time deciding on food (as I am vegan). Hunter went above and beyond by asking me what I liked and how we could manipulate the menu so that I could eat. This level of service is not usually seen in fast food places like this. Truly impressed!

Kind of surprised that they don't park cars with big orders so the smaller orders can be processed faster, like other locations do... Sitting there for 10mins for a coffee, when they could have just parked the vehicle ahead of me and let me and the guy behind me get our quick / easy items..

Over 18 minutes of wait time, I seen 3 other cars ask like me to move to the wait zone because their slow. I only had ordered 3 happy meals of which 2 where nuggets(they eventually served them without sauce at all and cold fries) and the last one was a hotcakes one(served without the fries and luke warm cakes). It seems they serve what ever car they want and they didn't even give me a receipt (probably so I can't raise concerns to the corporation)

i went through the drive thru this morning and ordered a vanilla ice coffee with two shots of caramel. they put in a caramel ice coffee and acted like i never told them that wasn’t my order. so i told first window and the worker said whatever same thing and made me take the caramel and i ended up getting sick off it because they didn’t mix it at all as well and i drank syrup. not to mention also waited 20 minutes for that and a muffin. would not recommend, they also had the first window worker taking orders while serving people

This is BY FAR the worst McDonald's I've ever been to. On this last trip in, I ordered IN PLAIN ENGLISH a number 7 (sausage breakfast sandwich on a Bagel), I received lettuce on a bagel... when I entered the restaurant to show their mistake I was handed ANOTHER LETTUCE SANDWICH! I seriously don't understand the incompetence at this location. Can't tell if its drug use, inbreeding or a combination of the two. I'd like to offer a 0 star rating.

I have never gone into a place that was more disgusting than the Port Hawkesbury McDonald's. We went thru drive-thru and they gave us wrong drinks. Then was told to go to wait spot. After 10 mins I went inside to find out where food was. NO ONE behind counter had mask on or gloves. After waiting another 10 mins I finally spoke to someone. They brought bag over and I opened it. We ordered a big Mac meal and a cheeseburger with bacon and paid extra money for big Mac sauce. It looked like someone chewed up the bacon before putting it on my burger. Should have taken picture before I left. On top of food being cold and nasty, there was no one who spoke English properly. I have no problem with other cultures but do have a problem with laziness and no professional development. The manager was not interested in my complaint or complaints of 4 other ppl who also asked to speak to him. I will never go back there again and im sure neither will the other customers that were there. I live in neighborhood and this is totally unacceptable. Never again!!!!

As a Picton resident, we go through the McDonald's here and there. Every single time they always miss at least one thing. My youngest son has to have his sweet and sour sauce for his nuggets and I've lost count on the times we haven't gotten it with his happy meal. I dont typically write bad reviews, but im just so not impressed. They need to get it together. Today I asked for 3 sauces so we can keep one or 2 in the fridge for days when they miss it and we didn't even get one of them....even though they are clearly on the receipt.... but we got apple slices that we never asked for with his french fries. Just so silly... they really need to hire better staff!

McDonalds is the lowest on my list of preferences when it comes to similar burger and fries fast food for my tastes. All the other places offer better versions of burgers or fries or nuggets, but its fine to eat there. This location is fine, and just off the highway about halfway between Halifax and Yarmouth.

I ordered a mint tea and blueberry muffin to done in and paid at the kiosk - got handed my muffin , then asked if it was to dine -in. After I sat down, I found out they had given me a green tea. Inexcusable Non -accessibility attitude by manager on duty. I mentioned that the handicapped accessible door had not been functioning for 2 weeks and was told they only activate it if someone requests it. How the frig are you supposed to do that? This was the worst McDonald's ice ever been to especially for customer service. Except June she has always been courteous. The shift managers and supervisors were horrible. But in the last couple of months they seem to be more pleasent. I give 3 stars now because they are making progress.

I'm changing my review from a 4 star to a 1 star. While waiting to be served. The manager waited on the couple in front of me and then just walked away. He didn't even give the couple their order number. When I did get waited on. My order was 2 coffee . Both with sweetener and one with milk. Plus one was supposed to be decaffeinated. Both were regular coffee. Both had sugar in them ( I'm a diabetic) so not good and both had cream in them. That is like the 4th time. I been there and my coffee was messed up.

It would have been just as well if the put a full head of lettuce on the burgers an put it in the fridge before they gave it to me. It was ice cold. An the fries weren't cooked. An I also waited at the cash for almost five minutes before anyone served me.

The food is always... well it’s what you would expect from McDonalds. The only problems are the wait times (because there’s ALWAYS someone ordering WAY too much food during dinner and it just slows everything down), and how RUDE some people are toward the philippino employees! Very rarely is anything ever actually the employees’ fault; it’s always just some overly-dramatic IOC employee throwing a tantrum because he doesn’t know how to scrape a pickle off one of his 10 mcdoubles! If it wasn’t for that super friendly guy with tourettes (?), I’d never come here because of how toxic the customers are. That guy makes your food taste better just by bringing it to you I swear to god.

Slow in the lobby. Always mess up or forget som really recommend checking orders before taking off especially if you live a little drive out of town. Also curb side closes at 6 and if a truck is there you have no choice but to go in and usually slow and packed. Always very kind staff and always issues dealt with decently.

I popped into this Macdonalds tonight and asked for a large vanilla ice coffee. At this time the ice coffees are on for 1.80 for a large (part of macdonalds 1 coffee days promotion) the lady at the cash was having trouble punching it in (was coming up regular price) she proceeds to ask her manager JASON whom comes over and informs me that this store only does the small and medium and I will have to pay full price for the large. I mentioned all other macdonalds are at this price. I have never had a MANAGER be so rude to me. He informed me that the owners of this location dont care and have the right to charge whatever they like. I proceed to tell him I will take it in a medium. This manager than begins to argue with me even more no matter how many times I said I was fine with the medium. I would like to mention this is not the first time he has told me that the owners of this particular location pretty much are stealing from the local community as they are told to fill ice coffees/smoothies under the line that is on the cups. I would like to say if this JASON is a manager he needs to take some refreshing courses in customer service, hospitality and how to not be degrating to his staff. I wouldnt allow this man to manage a cemetery. Do this restaurant and the staff a favour and find someone better to manage this location. Maybe the reviews would be better

This is the littest spot in Liverpool. Besides falling to alcoholism, hanging out at "Don's" is one of the only things you can do in Liverpool from October to May, besides going to a Jr. B or Midget A game. And really even of you're going to a hockey game you know you're gonna stop into Macca's. As for customer service, as long as they're better than Tim's they don't have anything to worry about because where else are you gonna take your business? And trust me, they have Tim's beat handily.

Service can be slow due to lack of staff. Preference seems to go to the Drive-Thru in the mornings so it's likely faster to wait in your vehicle than to go inside. I find that the crew making your coffee do things totally separately from those making your food, and I once had both my food waiting for my coffee and my coffee waiting for my food. In other words, my completed order sat in their respective places for a few minutes before it was handed to me. Overall, it's a fast food joint that needs more people. Food is fast food, service could be better.
