Very kind service. Food was very good. We ordered lemon and onion marinated calamari as an appetizer - delicious!!! My husband ordered the Halibut over polenta (?) Delicious! I ordered the Halibut bowl - delicious. Kids had typical kids meals. However the one downfall was that the kids meals said each meal comes with a side. Drink and a dessert. When we ordered a side for 2 of our kids we were charged for those sides. After speaking to our waiter, he and his colleagues figured out how to refund us as we had just finished charging the card when I noticed. They were gracious and kind in fixing the solution and understood the mistake.

I visted Fixx for the first time 2 days ago and i have to say thta was probobly one of the best steaks ive ever had. The cut was perfect not to much not to little. It was perfectly mid rare with juices just flowing out of it. It was moust and juicy. The red wine pairs nicly with thier steak. I highly reccomend eating here.

Great establishment, very roomy dining area, plus outdoor patio. Food was amazing, we ordered a steak and a burger. Both were awesome. We were greeted and seated with amazing hospitality. Which means a lot for a non Caucasian couple. As we were greeted as old friends rather than customers. Our server checked on us often but wasn't too talky. I would recommend this place without hesitation. My 10 ounce Ribeye was cooked to mouth watering perfection. The yam fries and garlic aioli were also perfect and could have been a meal on their own. The drinks were tasty and we'll thought out. Long story short, worth every penny and the service worthy of a nice tip.

Went here two nights in a row on a work trip because it we right outside my hotel. Service was good. When I got the half rack of ribs the seasonal vegetables were a bit lacking but the ribs were delicious. I should have ordered a full rack. The burger I had was great. A bit pricey but I'm expensing it so who cares?

Absolutely outstanding food. We stopped here for lunch in the middle of a seven-hour road trip, and I didn’t have high expectations. We ordered off their $6 appy hour (2-6 pm) menu. Each item was a substantial amount of food, flavourful and cooked perfectly. We had excellent service as well. Here’s what we ordered: Mediterranean cheese dip, gyoza, fish tacos and hot wing. Everything was delicious but the fish tacos were the best part — so much flavour, and you get three, and they’re normally $15 or so. Definitely hoping we stop again on the way home!

I come to Dawson Crew for work and have been to this restaurant a few times over the past 2-3 years. Each time thinking things will change with the service - NOPE!! Food is good but the service is some of the worse I have seen. I will not return here in the future. Went there tonight and waited over 10 min was not asked if I wanted a drink or have my order taken. Got up and left the restaurant. If u want decent food but poor service then I guess give it a try.

Service was terrible, inexperienced. I ordered mussels, they were tough, and no bread was brought out with order to soak up the tiny bit of broth I had. It was as if the cook has no idea how to prepare or serve mussels. I ordered a rib steak, it was over 30 dollars, 33 I think but can't be sure. The other options were tenderloin for 41, or a t bone for 38..... Where in the heck do they get the gall to have prices like that. I've eaten in gourmet restaurants, with 5 star calibre chefs, and the prices were lower. When steak came out, it was missing the prawns I had asked for, she said she would get them immediately, it took me asking two more servers before finally receiving them, in a dish luke warm, when my steak was mostly finished. Overall, the server was inattentive to our table, she was catering to the tables that were there to drink, the entire experience was underwhelming to say the least. I would not recommend this place, you could go to Montana's for half the price, better service, and same calibre food. If you're thing is to get drunk and eat overpriced steak, then Fixx is your home away from home!

Good food and atmosphere... But pricey for what you get and... Do not trust their gluten free menu as they don't have a clue what they are doing with that. The supervisor was rude when I pointed out to her that items containing beer should not be on a gluten free menu (thanks to the chef that had the very nice young waiter bring the ingredients to my attention). She proceeded to tell me in a snarky tone that they use gluten free budweiser... The supervisor returned a few minutes later, showed me a website on her phone stating that the beer they use does not contain wheat... She was baffled when I pointed out that it does contain barley... And that has gluten. Simply upsetting when they go to the trouble of creating a "gluten free" menu and then they are rude when a customer voices health concerns at their inconsistency.

I ordered stuffed mushrooms and apple springrolls for takeout. Very friendly on the phone but when we picked up our order, I opened the box and the mushrooms were just dumped in. All the filling was all over the box, they were cold and it was just a mess. My boyfriend ran inside to show the hostess and she just dismissed it and said that’s how they do it. When I went to scoop out the ice cream onto the springrolls, there were little flys all over the ice cream in the takeout container. It was disgusting. I’m super shocked this experience was so bad.

I was a little hesitant going in, but wow! My server was terrific and she gave great guidance. Had the seafood fettuccine which is weird to order in a northern prairie town. My goodness was it a nice surprise. No heavy sauce. Was a beautiful white wine and dill sauce that was amazing. Lots of prawns and lovely scallops with everything, including the pasta cooked to perfection! Absolutely wonderful experience! ❤

I have never had anything less than an exceptional experience at the fix. The are not part of any franchise chain, nor are they a sub par stand alone disappointment. They offer a variety of very well prepared and presented food. True, it is a bit on the expensive side, but you get what your pay for. And what you get is delicious. And served by a professional staff, who effortlessly walk the line between Suits and Cheers. Easily the best restaurant venue in Dawson, and probably in the whole Peace Country.

We we're seated immediately. Brought one drink. Waited. Had our order taken and got our food. Then we we're forgotten about for 40 minutes. Terrible service and basic food. Our waitress openly said she "forgot about yous over here..." Which was disappointing for our anniversary dinner. We won't be back and we won't recommend. It was like Boston Pizza without the franchising and whatever minimal standards that comes with it.

Great local restaurant in town, owner and staff are fantastic. Be wary of the jumbalaya, it's been known to be way too spicy and many I know have said it actually ruined the meal. Fixx usually does not disappoint. Not super consistent, have had a few oopsies from the kitchen but they're always happy to work hard to make it right. Usually busy when industry is up due to hotel proximity, but almost never too full you can't be seated quickly with a table of 2 to 4.

I ate here one night on my way home from Anchorage to Laramie. The waitress I had was very attentive and was honestly one of the most genuine people I'd met on my six-week trip. She recommended the peach martini for dessert and it was wonderful. The halibut bowl had excellent flavor as well, although I think the halibut was a dash overcooked. Overall, I would not hesitate to return here whenever I'm in Dawson Creek again.

Heyyo, this was my second visit to this estaurant and it has a nice and modern look, the waitresses were polite and friendly and most importantly the food was great. I had the teriyaki chicken bowl with noodles instead of rice and it was a good meal indeed and was filling. Definitely a good choice for a restaurant in Dawson Creek. First visit to this restaurant was just before the Disturbed and Saint Asonia concert and I had pasta and it was delicious as well.

I read the 4 or 5 star reviews and I can only say I must have had an extremely off night here or this place has really deteriorated. Several coworkers have also had bad experiences so I tend to lean toward the latter. The hotels nearby cater to a lot of oil and gas workers eating off the company dime so the prices reflect this. Overpriced and poor value. First of all in my visit the service was VERY slow for a 3/4 empty restaurant. The mostly indifferent staff seemed immediately put off when they realized I wasnt going to swill drinks on a company card I guess and paid little attention to me after that. Food was ok, nothing special, and it arrived cold after my long wait. At that point, I just wanted to get out of there and there was no way I was waiting another hour for a burger. There are many better spots in Dawson in my opinion. Also, be very cautious when ordering take out. 2 different coworkers of mine have ordered take out on separate occasions only to recieve the wrong order, which coincidentally also arrived ice cold. Dissapointing to say the least.

One of the best modern restaurants in Dawson Creek, BC. It is located on the outskirts and it is in the same area as Pomeroy hotel, also it is very close to Walmart. The restaurant is new and it is huge, it has a bar and private seating area as well. The menu is the best part, very innovative items and excellent taste. Some of the items are highlighted as the best option which helps in selection if you are not sure. Service is good but it takes a while for the food to arrive after order. We tried club sandwich, jambalaya, pad thai etc and all of them were excellent. I would definitely go back there.
