Rudy's is a small gem that locals know about, but tourists seldom find. We were walking by, realized we were hungry, and figured - lets try it. Rudy Sr., Rudy Jr., and other staff set a high standard for delicious deli food, quick service, and pleasant chatter about how your day is going. There are a few tables, or you can take away - take out, if you are American. Cops eat there. Secretaries eat there. Executives eat there. Get it?

Not only catering! The make Delicious freshly prepared food for a great price all week. They have all day breakfast options and a special everyday. There is also a variety of warm coffee available that you serve yourself. I like this place as it is fairly quick service that's available downtown. Glad that I discovered it.

Rudy’s is my favorite place for lunch in downtown Halifax. I walk from work and I am like a kid in a candy store. Daily special that are to die for, or made to order hamburger/fries to a healthy salad. Rudy’s is the place for excellent food at a great price. If you get there and not sure what to have ask Ruby who is always behind the counter to greet his customer and make sure they are happy.

Purchased your sausage and bacon egg muffins for our platoon yesterday and everyone loved them!!! Thank you so much for fulfilling our order with such little notice (40+ items in 30 minutes). The two additional Vegan trays that Holly asked about on our arrival were said to be delicious by the staff who received them! And yes, Matt D sent us your way with his wonderful reviews. The food is always amazing and so are the prices! The family and staff that work there are phenomenal. Rudy and Maria are always so kind, generous and thoughtful and go above and beyond to ensure your experience is positive. I was away for 3 years and missed Rudy's sooo much. I just started work back in the city and my office is just upstairs!!!! I couldn't have been happier knowing my comfort food and amazing Rudy family are just steps away!! Wish i could give more than 5 stars! ❤
