Reasonable chain food at reasonable prices. Interior has been updated and looks nice, though still seems to be aimed at seniors (whom get a nice discount). Sunday buffet is ok, though very expensive for kids (better to order from menu).

If you go here, do not order breakfast food in the afternoon and expect fresh anything. The servers are friendly but the food smells of pam spray and the hash browns burnt and old. No response when complaints about it was made to the front staff. I guess when you cater to seniors with 75 year old taste buds, nothing else matters. I rate it .25 of a star over Denny's.

Went here for a work meeting on a Saturday a few weeks ago......music was to loud downstairs....eggs tasted like plastic....potatoes where half cooked and some side burnt...and my sausage tasted cheap and plasticky also.....I dont see why this place is rated best in town......must be the old timers going there. I wouldn't go again sorry honest truth

Dated but probably the best place for breakfast in town. Clean quiet and traditional not too busy most times and the prices are way better than some other places up the street think (d*****y's) Big plus is the fruit as a nice option to sub out has browns and such. Coffee was also good.

Very nice staff, very quick for breakfast and a good selection of food, but my husband spent his meal pulling hair out of his pancakes and eggs. Unfortunately that kind of ruined an otherwise lovely place for us. We don't like to complain so didn't mention it to staff.

Building was nicer on the inside than the exterior. Looks like a run down restaurant from roadside. Food was "ok", nothing special. Seemed waitress had too many tables. Got coffee, had to steal creamer off another table, 4 people at our table, had to ask for cutlery when food came. Had to flag down waitress for coffee refill and ketchup. Expensive prices for quality served. No different than a Dennies. Staff was very nice however. Overall, wouldn't go back.

Okay, but meal was luke warm. Had pulled pork mac and cheese. Cheese sauce was grainy, penne pasta instead of macaroni, very little pulled pork. Cannot recommend. Good and friendly service tho.

We both totally enjoyed our meals. I had the fish and chips and the birthday girl had the ribs. Portions were good and very tasty. Ribs were also nice and tender. We'll be back.????

I had breakfast here and it was great. Real butter was nice to have. Eggs were cooked excellent, as were bacon and hash browns (real sliced red potatoes). Service was prompt and kept coffee filled. Definitely would go here again.

It would be great if one batch of oil and a frier could be set aside for those who are alegic to wheat products. Gluten seems to be a big problem for many people I know, it's really hard to find a gluten free menu item that has any taste. Salads get pretty old after a while.

What a gem? I stumbled into this spot after finding out the truckstop diner across the street no longer had a restaurant. Walked in and was instantly impressed. Lots of seating, quiet atmosphere, very clean, great signage for people to understand the steps they are taking to follow COVID19 protocol. Prompt service, and generous portions of excellent food. Planning this into my future routes anytime I am in the area.

A beautiful mix of rustic and modern, abc is a fabulous restaurant for kids, adults and seniors! It's never too noisy, and the servers are friendly and helpful. My favourite meal served at abc is the Spicy Buffalo Chicken Wrap, a meal to die for.

The food was as great as ABC usually serves up, hearty home cooking at a decent price. Cranbrook ABC has been an iconic hallmark of the region for years. The food is served fairly fast compared to many other dining experiences.

We decided on this spot as a result of the reviews that we read prior. We decide to have the fish and chips. Our waitress, Judy was very attentive efficient and arrived at our table within minutes of us being seated. when we ordered, It lived up to what I was expecting. Both chips & fish was hot & delicious. One could tell that it was not sitting under a hot lamp before being served. The price for the meal was well worth it. attached is a picture which shows my plate when finished. Thanks Judy

Been in town for years and have found it a Steady Eddie kind of place for what seems a lot of retired people and rurals too. Food is usually pretty good for truck driver in me but don't go looking for seafood unless fish and chips is your idea of saltwater fare. Waitresses are well trained and very accommodating in any situation. Never been unhappy with the service or wait times. Very reliable.

This is a place where I take my clients from work. There are many types of foods, quite an array of variety actually. It is true that there is a lot of choices for this restaurant, and the food tastes home cooked. The ambiance is a bit crowded but for most of my visits, I just asked the staff to accommodate for my needs that day (more room for wheelchairs, etc) The place is wheelchair accessible but one must be handy with driving one to maneuver in and out of the restaurant. I personally love the specials which include Tuesday Night Ukrainian Buffet 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm & Sunday Brunch Buffet 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. The Ukrainian Buffet allows for a culinary experience otherwise not offered in this area. The price is a little high but the quality of the food is a reason i don't mind paying it. I am seldom disappointed in there. The service could use a touch of smiles from some waitresses but for the most part, it is more then satisfactory. I will return for the experience and the tasty cuisine.

COVID protocols in place. Booths are a little tight. Not much space. Basic service good for when you don't want to be interrupted often. If no bill is forthcoming just go the till and they can bring up your order.

Everything was cooked fine but the flavor was seriously lacking, like they forgot to season things at all, nevermind basic salt and pepper. Portions were also pretty disappointing, especially considering the prices. We were fed, but definitely left unsatisfied. We were on our way through on a very long drive, so we arrived a little before closing. Though I called to make sure they could still serve us, our server treated us like an inconvenience and brushed off our questions, and seemed especially annoyed that we had a toddler with us. For a tired family just looking for a home-cooked meal, as they seem to advertise, it was a little rough.

Everything seemed below her and she nodded and appeared to note meal modifications but then the food that came made it clear she didn't bother passing them on to the kitchen. Super passive aggressive. Never asked how it was but I guess that's because she knew it wasn't as ordered? Basically dropped the bill off and was over it. Lol. Had a few days to spend in town and did not and will not go back.

Meal was okay, had the hot beef sandwich. Service was poor, arrived around 1:00 PM. Took longer than it should have to get order taken and get my coffee. Then didnt get a refill although I did try to get waitresses attention a couple times. Usually I tip 20 to 30 % but only tipped 15% today and that was too much.

I had the Ukrainian Buffet and was thoroughly disappointed! The food was barely warm and was tasteless! The carrot cake was so dry I could blow it out like sawdust! Will never go back here....I had to stop at a washroom within 10minutes of leaving the restaurant......! Also I mentioned to the hostess that they had spelled Ukrainian wrong and a month later it is still spelled incorrectly even on the outside ads!

This restaurant has definitely improved since they renovated it. I believe the renovations took place maybe a couple of years ago. The service is also excellent in the morning for breakfast. The only reason why I have not given a 5-star review of his because I'm not a huge fan of some of the dishes on the menu, some of the dishes have an overload of ingredients which saturate the taste. On the other hand the breakfast dishes are pretty tasty and do not have a ton of Grease like you might see at a restaurant like Denny's. If you're looking for a decent breakfast place this is one of Cranbrook to go to places.

Arrived at 10:50am, waited at the door in a 4 group long line with all of us completely unacknowledged for 10 full minutes. Then we were sat but waited forever! It's been an hour and 10 minutes now, still no food. BRUTAL and no apologies or explanations or anything. Way too slow!!

Out of all the times I've been to this place over the years it's started to come around and serve better quality food than before and the service has really come up since a year ago. I would rate higher but one experience over 20+ years isn't enough to change my thoughts yet. I am happy though that it didn't break the bank like most places in cranbrook

Just a comment on the waitress on Sunday afternoon. She paid attention to what I ordered and brought everything exactly the way I ordered, refilled my water without me asking. I watched her at Other tables and she paid close attention to what other customers ordered. Not once did she have to go back after bringing the food, to get ketchup or hot sauce or anything. The food was good. Thank you ABC I will be back
