I ordered the breakfast melt: potatoes, ham, bacon, sausage, mushroom, bell pepper, and cheese topped with 2 eggs, served with 2 slices buttered toast. Cost 11$. It didn’t come with onions as advertised. Service was quick but food was average. Cost isn’t worth the quality. The location is in downtown Cornwall and the ambiance is like a typical American diner.

Really nice staff. Our waitress worked very hard to make everyone happy. She was on the ball with coffee refills and accommodating us with whatever we needed. The food portions were huge compared to other breakfast restaurants. Definitely worth the price. Our overall experience was perfect. As we got home we realized we were missing beans with one of our meals. Understandable because they were busy. Definitely go back for the atmosphere, food and staff.

Consistantly good food and service on weekends. During the week I got this old women who has no care about toddlers and needs of a high chairs and also quick service. 30 mins for pancakes is a little extreme. And also gave attitude and rolled eyes when I asked for a high chair. Will not be returning if the taller, older white haired women is working.

Soup was great! Service seemed "off" - watched others served (ordered after us) before we were. My daughter got her caesar salad last and I had to share my lunch with her as she was very hungry!

We returned here because we had a good breakfast and service previously. This time, we’re shocked with the service: No coffee refill (horrible watered down yuck), messed up our order, non attentive staff - simply standing there avoiding eye contact. This will be the last time we’re visiting.

Breakfast is the best you can get anywhere in town. There are a ton of great breakfast spots to choose from, but Spinner’s stands above the rest (I recommend the eggs Benny and breakfast poutine, and pancakes, and coffee, you really can’t go wrong with anything here... oh yeah, generous portions to boot). Staff is incredible and welcoming, The owner is always on the floor or in the back helping out anytime we’ve been there. All in all, it’s a great experience. Always an extra clean environment too, with great a retro vibe inside. Very old time-y rock n’ roll/silver screen decor. 10/10 across the board.

Went to Spinners for breakfast on a Wednesday and it was fairly quiet (later morning). The service was quick! Polite waitress with a great sense of humour. Cool indoor decor, very retro though the booths were a little low. I liked the open concept feeling which made it easy to chat with my friend. You have park in the street or a lot across the road (must pay) so that's pretty much the only downside. Facilities were very clean. Would be ideal for little groups. The food was reasonably priced and pretty good. Good sized portions. Recommended and will probably go again to try out their regular menu. I did find it very cozy and original.

I take my family for breakfast almost every weekend. Everyone there is friendly and goes out of their way to make sure that coffees and waters are full and everyone’s orders are correct. The food portions are large and filling and adequately priced. I spent the better part of a year trying a different breakfast place each week, but Spinners became my home Sunday mornings. We are usually 8-12 people and the diner is usually packed on top of that. Mistakes are bound to happen but they’re rare and they’re quick to remedy them. They also give you a free breakfast for every 10 purchased. Which every little bit counts!

Unbelievably incompetent server. She thinks she's good at her job but she's not. Went in yesterday for breakfast. She took my order fairly quickly and within a few minutes I had everything I needed except for a cup to drink my tea with. So I waited for 5 minutes. Still nothing. Went in to get one and she gave me a look as if I shouldn't be in there. Meanwhile she's not wearing a mask by the way. Then when my food came I didn't have any Salt and Pepper or utensils. Definitely the last time I'm going in there. You've had a lot of chances to earn my business and failed

Walking by and decided to pop in. We were immediately in awe at how awesome this little nook was. From outside it looks so small, but inside is huge and spacious. There was no sign telling us to seat ourselves but luckily I was with someone who was there before. Sandy (the waitress) was quick to get us a menu and drinks. The menu was well laid out and priced like a down home restraunt. While it take a bit for us to get our food, I was entertained by the retro art and the happiness of the people in the restaurant. I didn't get any pictures of the food, but it wasn't sloppy. The whole bill for 2 people was roughly 30$. They have a loyalty program as of this review. I think its buy 10 meals get the 11th free or something to that affect. I can say I will be going back soon.

Absolutely horrid service, cold food, food not as ordered, waited 40 mins just to get a menu not overly busy. Then after ordering waiting another 40 minutes for food meanwhile everyone else’s tables were cleared before we got our food. Ordered kids breakfasts’ got regular sized ones, food wasn’t cooked properly - raw dough in pancakes and crepes. Still charged for things we didn’t even eat because it was horrid! Won’t be returning thats for sure.

I have been here often for breakfast...standard bacon and eggs fare. They seemed to be a little understaffed on this visit judging from the infrequency with which our coffee was refilled and the general grumpiness of the server. Atmosphere is so important when people are spending money for a meal.

My first time in Cornwall! And it is a beautiful place! I love the atmosphere that Spinners has to offer, very 50s feel! And the staff is very welcoming. My friends recommended the spot for a big meal at a reasonable price for brunch! And the food is very filling! This diner is a very locally known spot, a great spot to bring family and friends! Maybe expand your great diner out in Ottawa! I will definitely recommend to others!

Excellent diner! I always receive over the top service! The food is delicious - by far my fav breakfast place. My favorite is the eggs benny, and the ham & cheese sandwich with fries. Their soups of the day are always worth it. try something different every time I go! Highly recommended.

Great local breakfast. You can take your kids there and have enough options to be happy AND at reasonable prices. Check out their lunches too. The interior decor is really something to appreciate. Silhouettes of James Dean and Marilyn Monroe and many others from that age adorn the interior, hand painted I must added and tables are color full. The motif is an homage to the old diners of yesteryear. It feels open and bright.
