We went as a group for Mother's Day and had a wonderful time. The service was friendly and attentive, though not overly so. We all ordered off the Mother's Day special menu, though we could have from the regular menu and no one was disappointed. From steak to chicken to salmon to pasta, it was all wonderful and in perfect portions. I would highly recommend eating here. We will be visiting many times in the future because there are so many options I want to tuck into.

Excellent food. I really enjoyed the Manicotti Fiorentina. For me this is the nicest restaurant in Cornwall. Having said that this would be an excellent Italian restaurant in any city. Staff is top notch as well.

I am often disappointed with restaurants. Not so a Casa Paolo!!! Caesar salad to die for. Very attentive staff, but not too attentive. Great atmosphere My only complaint is that it is too far from home (Montreal). My thinking is that it's worth the trip anyway.

PERFECTION!!! Food was mouth watering and fresh, ambience & decor are comfortable and the staff are very welcoming. They made my sister's wedding a beautiful one and KUDOS to the chef, Stephane and the lady who drew on each plate LOVE to make our smashed wedding cake (our fault) a beautifully decorated desert plate. I went to this place for Valentines dinner and had the worst experience after expecting a lovely romantic fancy dinner it was everything but that. I might as well of went to a tavern for dinner. They placed a group of 10 yelling laughing people right next to "couples" trying to have a romantic valentine dinner. My boyfriend and I could not hear one another speak, we ate off of bare tables with nothing but a paper mat that you get at a cheap breakfast diner, my boyfriend left the table for a minute and as he was gone the waiter came by and placed the bill face up in front of me , not in a folder, this place has "no" class what so ever. The bill came to $ 170, outrageous for this experience, the valentine special per person was $60 .NOTHING ABOUT THIS PLACE WAS WORTH ANY OF IT. I DO NOT recommened this place to anyone, and I will never go back. They try to pass this place as fine dinning and they sure charge you the prices, I had a tavern experience that cost us $170 .? I

The establishment is beautiful. So warm and inviting. Staff were friendly and participated in the conversation about our great adventure driving east from Halifax . A little pricy, but you are getting what you pay for I believe, just don't expect cheap. Very nice menu options though, and the food was excellent! The service was very good and the food was excellent. We had take out the first night we were in Cornwall. The amount of food we had was great. Filled us up after a long drive. The next day we met friends there and had a great meal on the patio. The staff was very accommodating when a second set of friends showed up late.

My husband and I had our anniversary dinner here on Saturday night (Nov 14) and were so pleased with everything (we're new to the area and it was our first visit). Lovely ambiance, romantic lighting and the food was all delicious. We had the caesar salad, cream of broccoli soup, chicken cardinale and chicken parmigiana and it was all beautifully presented and tasted great. The Bailey's cheesecake was fresh and flavourful. Our server Katie was polite, professional and had a lovely, friendly personality--thank you for the great service and thanks to everyone for a lovely evening!

Waited an hour for our food. Calamari was overly salty and we had to send it back. It was replaced with a calamari totally without flavor. We had the New York strip which was very chewy and two pasta dishes which both had a watered down version of alfredo sauce. Way over charged for the quality served. The waitress was very nice and cooperative. She should train the hostess how to speak to people. Hostess was very short and somewhat miserable. We planned to have an 80th birthday party there but no way now.

Fanciest restaurant in Cornwall in my opinion. Incredible Italian food, and service is excellent. Fresh ingredients and the care that chefs put into all meals is clear. Will try their patio in the future as it looks very good. I've often celebrated special events such as anniversaries, graduations and more, and they really offer a professional and happy environment. Strongly recommend.

It was wonderful, a tad expensive but worth every penny! The menu was also HUGE but everything on it seemed so good! Also there is free salad or soup, and free fresh rolls. Highly recommend!

I was having an ok experience here but my brother-in-law and mother-in-law both had mishaps in their food and drink. Food took an hour and a half but it was busy. That was fine. Brother-in-law had two fruit flies in his drink. He decided not to make a big deal of it. It was not comped. Mother-in-law finally got her food. Ate a lot of it. When she got to the bottom of the plate there was a hair in it. She was purely digusted. Notified the manager. Managers first reaction was to say the food had parsley, "that's parsley" She argued no, "the hair". Manager acknowledged the hair and then tried to give her another plate for free. She had lost her appetite and no longer wanted to eat the food. Manager asked once more if she was sure she didn't want another plate. M.i.l at this point was sternly replying No, she was still hungry and too disgusted to eat. B.i.l suggested that her meal should at least be comped. Manager paused and asked if she had salad. To which she replied yes. Manager said that she would just be charged for the salad. Handled very poorly that the Manager wasn't originally even going to comp anything. We all thought it was pretty disgusting and should have at least taken her meal off for free from the get go. Salad or not. And not have had to compromise for that. Side Note. Food was amazing. Waitresses were great. Portions were in the small to medium size. We've never eaten here before but other places where the food was this good it was nearly twice the size. Over 50$ for this one plate here. It was really nice but from the experience, treatment thereafter, and portion to price deal, we won't be coming back.

Great service, lovely patio, background music was like being in a southern climate at a resort. Italian food was hot, tasty and a good portion. Nice warm rolls and crisp Caesar salad. Really loved the lasagna.

We reserved a specific table of 6 people 4 weeks ago. When we got there our table was given to someone else. The owner appologized. Then we ordered our drinks and food. Waited about 1.5 hours to find out that we did not get what we ordered. Wanted Salmon and got Veal. Now you think since the salmon was cheaper they would reduce the veal price to the salmon price. Well that did not happen. Food is good but when they are too busy dont expect them to meet your expectations.

Visited for the first time today. Was very disappointed. The wait was long for everything. I ordered the spaghetti Bolognese with Italian sausage. The sausage was dry. The sauce was overly acidic with little meat, little flavour, and chunky with undercooked tomato. My partner had the carbonara - instead of cream sauce they served it with scrambled eggs (how do you call yourself Italian when you can't even get a basic carbonara right??). Two tiny plates of ceasar salad (no bacon). Two cheap wonderbread rolls. All this for only $60. The only redeeming factors were the excellent servers (who you can tell are doing their best) and the lone saint in the kitchen who knew to make the pasta al dente. Bless his heart.

First time in the restaurant. Food was excellent. We were there on a Tuesday evening and everything was very fresh. Calamari had just the perfect coating of breadcrumbs and veal Parmigiano was done perfectly, nice and tender. The wait staff are incredibly nice always with a smile! Bartender was even willing to try out a new mix for one of our party. We will be returning soon!

This was just okay for us. I do not recommend spaghetti and meatballs. The meatballs did not a have a great flavour to them. The tomato sauce wasn't overly flavourful. Not sure if they cook the meatballs in the sauce but that could make a difference if they start to. Garlic bread and cheese was just okay.. For mediocre food it was expensive. Staff and the place was very lovely though.

Reservation was made for a Birthday dinner of six people. It was busy as usual on a Friday evening. Ordered our meals, all orders were either penne or chicken dishes. We asked for table rolls after waiting 30 minutes. When that finally arrived the waitress we had said the male server working with her took our rolls and she had to wait for ours. How long does it take to warm up rolls? It took over 1 1/2 hours for our meal to be served. When we asked why the wait was so long we were told that everything is made to order. I saw tables seated after our arrival getting served before our table. Pasta takes less than 10 minutes to cook, chicken less than 30 minutes. Food was mediocre. I would not rush back. Grandma makes better. At the end of the evening the hostess came to our table to further explain that they were very busy. What is a surprise to be busy? Your only open 4-9:30 pm and can’t prepare accordingly? Will never return.

Being Italian I don't often go to Italian restaurants at the risk of being disappointed. Firstly, the pasta is not homemade. Secondly, when veal parmigiana has overload of mozzarella, that's generally an indicator that they are supplementing on taste. Third, I found the Caesar salad tasted fishy. Lastly, if I'm going to pay $3 for a TUMBLER of sprite at the very least make it free refills? Service was just ok. Personally not impressed. Not worth the $$.

Minimal Caesar salad maybe 3 limp lettuce leafs. Microscopic buns. Grossly overpriced escargot. Cold entrees with 1 asparagus.Yelling clients. Finally an overpowering bill. I felt ripped off. Sorry CP. But just a bad experience.
