Sobeys is a great grocery store that has a decent selection and is relatively well stocked. The service is friendly and knowledgeable. They have frequent sales and discounts that make it worth checking out. There is a decent health foods section, as well as a good gluten free selection, and a public bathroom towards the back of the store, located next to the dairy section.

They had a good selection of vegan frozen foods, as well as plant based milks and ice creams. I wish that they had a larger produce section, but I understand that is just what it's like in Newfoundland. I was also really happy to see that they have "Sensory Friendly Shopping Time". I don't personally have a need for it, but it is important to have more spaces that put in the effort to make their stores accessible.

I enjoy visiting Sobeys when I can stores never over crowded and they have a good selection of goods. Stores always clean and tidy. Only thing I'd say is needed is self checkouts for people like me who run in for a few things and just want to get in and out quickly.

Sobeys hosts the best deli in Corner Brook. The store has some of the worst prices in Corner Brook except for select loss leaders. Their flyer deals are hit or miss as well. They usually have a dozen items on sale with everything else at regular price. They sometimes also have a 2 for the price of 1 deal which is only good if you need the two items or are planning to shop with someone else. Sobeys should be more of a side shopping location than a one stop shop. Come for the sales and then head to a better grocery store.

Employees make up their own regulations when it comes to teenagers. One minute it could be decided they can stand in an area, next minute they have to go outside. It's clear that Sobeys does not have a proper base of rules for teenagers.

Great shopping experience. The shelves were a little empty today, but I'm sure that's because of hurricane Dorian slowing shipping of good. But I found mostly everything I needed. Love Sobeys way better than Colemans Market. Coleman's Market is so BIG and overcoming to me. Thanks Sobeys!

Customer service needs work. One occasion I was next at the speed lane and the cashier leaves and helps another customer at another cash. Then at the deli counter 2 young men looked at me, walked away, 2 others saw me standing there, no one acknowledged me. I left both times without my items. The customer right in front of you deserves your attention.

Wonderfully friendly staff and great service. I only gave 3 stars because, in my opinion, the store is too small and as a result does not have the greatest product availability. Some products they simply don't have, others products they can't keep enough on the shelves. Needs to move and get bigger.

I have been in the store a couple of times in the past several weeks and do not feel safe or comfortable in the store. The security person at the entrance is in your face when you come in the door & last Thur night when I entered the store there were 3 other employees in the porch talking to each other at close range + the security person. There are also alot of staff working on the floor which in normal times would be great, but, now they are slowing down your shopping experience. Most of the store could he stocked by a night shift. I try to enter the store pick up my items and get out ASAP. I visited the store a couple of times this week and the flyer items were not in stock. I would like to compliment the store on having lots of cash registers open and I always find the staff both helpful and friendly.
