Omg this place is amazing. Delicious house salad with romaine, craisins, pecans and marvelous dressing. Seafood fettuccine alfredo was best my husband has had anywhere. Had delicious shrimp, mussels, scallops and real parmesan cheese in a wonderful sauce with homemade garlic toast. Must have reservations when your bus or cruise ship in town. Only have 2 seatings ie early and 730pm. Food is made to order so dining is leisurely. Waitress is friendly and charming. French onion soup is excellent. What a find!

Service was so unfriendly that we left before ordering. We felt like we were an inconvenience to our server right from the beginning. Don't go here with kids, even well behaved ones. Sad, as we were looking forward to dining here.

It was ok. Went there for work Christmas supper. It's a small place. The appetizers were good. The cod I had you could tell which was not fresh.( But it is closed for the season and can only get b-icatch.) The rest of my meal was good, and the rest all my colleagues enjoyed their meal.

Had a family meal here just before new years! Really enjoyed my meal! Calm and relaxing atmosphere. Loved the French onion soup! The chef really knows how to prepare and cook a steak ???? Will definitely be back to try other things on the menu!

An excellent experience tonight. My cod was amazing, likely the best I've ever had. Service was very good, our server was very friendly and personable. Our whole table was pleased with our experience. While in the Corner Brook area, you should find the time to eat here. Note though, it is a very small dining room, it only seats maybe 20 at most, so call ahead!

Food was nice. However the restaurant was let down by the terrible attitude of its one waitress/server who was working on the night. Did nothing but complain about how busy she was when a couple of small groups from a bus tour came in without prior bookings. At this stage I will say that if we were not there, they would have been her only customers. These people were made to feel like an inconvenience rather than valued customers. This was very uncomfortable to watch. A few customers who attended looking for a table ended up just walking out in disgust. Throughout the evening there were at least 3 tables available for walk ins at any time. If we heard it once we heard it 10 times that the tour company should not send anyone over without a booking. She needs to realise that these people are the reason the restaurant exists. Not professional at all to winge in front of other customers all night about how busy she is. Very unprofessional.

We had a party of 4 and all ordered the Spring Fest special (3 courses). We waited 2hrs for the first 2 courses. We had to give up on dessert and walk out. Nice waiter but grossly understaffed and there appears to be no management presence. A shame because food was great. We had to double back and hour later to collect our dessert.

I had the steak and cheese wrap and my fiance had the steak on a bun. Beautiful presentation and great taste. Atmosphere was peaceful and classy. A really nice place to eat and we will definitely be coming back here on our next trip!

Our server was kind though knowledge of the menu was limited. Unfortunately they were out of the steak, they could supply a 40% smaller steak for the same price.... Or after repeatedly asking, double up the small portion to make and additional 20% sized steak, for an additional 80% price! I can not recommend the cod tongues, though possible it's just not for me. The last straw was no refill on coffee.

My boyfriend and I went here for our anniversary, and the service was amazing and the food was even better! We started off with an appetizer called the Shez Trio, which is Mussels, Shrimp, and Scallops, and it was by far the best mussels I have ever had. We both had pan fried cod for our main meal, and it was so fresh and tasty! We will definitely be going back again!

This place is very understaffed. The one server who was working did a terrific job. However, she was clearly overworked and could not keep up with the number of tables to be served. After two hours we had to give up waiting for the desert we paid for (we returned later to pick it up). The food was quite good. But the service times were brutal.
