I was happy with the menu choices, good variety. Great views. The fish tacos were flavourless, however when we mentioned that we didn't like them, they were immediately taken off our bill and we were offered something else. Steak was good!! Come for the food, stay for the sunset over the mountains.

We were excited to try jungle Jim's and to our disappointment it did not meet up to this excitement that the advertisements and decor exude. The burgers and fries were good. The side salads were also tasty but the food was just good not amazing and not great. The servers were attentive and entertaining. Our biggest challenge was over the definition of an lnferno Burger. We expected this burger to be hot, like so hot that we would have to have a pitcher of water on the table or a jug of milk to to wet our thirst. If you are going to sell something as an Inferno I want to see the fire at least somewhere. I was surprised at how mild this came out I was expecting for this to be hot going in and hot coming out, but it wasn't.

Went here for two separate dinners because it was that amazingly good. We had burgers, steak and ribs, kids pizza, kids chicken fingers, Mexican burrito, and bbq wrap. EVERYTHING was great! Staff was awesome, mixed drinks are good, and prices were as expected. Really cool atmosphere too. My kids loved it.

What a great place to eat while traveling through Corner Brook. From opening the doors you realize this place is different. Awesome decor & atmosphere. Friendly helpful staff. Extensive menu for all tastes. And yes the food was great of course. Fun for the whole family. Tons of locations so I hope to come across one again soon.

One of the great things about Newfoundland: friendly but also boldly to the point when required. The menu is unapologetically tex mex with some odd ball offerings. 34oz mugs of beer are common.

The cooks couldnt seem to get steak right. My friends had to send hers back twice and gave up on getting a medium rare and ate a well done. She may have sent it back the third time but there was no waitress to be seen in the dining area for a significant amount of time.

I have always enjoyed JJ's great food decent prices. Lots of options for every taste. My little guy loves it there as well . The monkey fingers (chicken) are nicely breaded actual breast pieces . No chicken mush here. And at the end of the meal they get to choose a toy from the treasure chest . Great place to take the whole family , I definitely recommend trying it out if you are looking for a cheaper place to go with a crowd. One day of the week kids pay a penny per cm of their height so for less than a toonie they get a full meal

Went here tonight with wife and friends. We all ordered burgers as we all have before. Wait was fine for a friday in a full restaurant but we were all surprised that the portion size of fries have changed we had kids meals that had twice the fries that we had. My kids had chicken nuggets and fries and they had a nice meal. Never have I went to jungle Jim's and went away hungry but here I sit eating a potato chip lol. It may have been fine but the way they had the paper in the basket for fries didnt let the fill the basket at all.

I have been travelling and have enjoyed eating at the Jungle Jim (Corner Brook) while staying in town. The food is great, good value and friendly staff. What I really noticed was how much the staff cares about cleaning. Yes cleaning, every opportunity they are working as a team to keep the restaurant, bar area and entrance clean. Management should be proud of the team they have!

The waitress showed us our table and that was it. We had to ask if anyone was actually working even though there was 5 waitresses walking around. Wanda was excellent she seemed to be the only one working when we got her attention because she did seem to be doing all the work. then the evening staff rolled in and all stood talking to the afternoon staff while Wanda served tables on her own the food was ok but the staff need to learn how to serve and even smile I've never seen so many miserable faces in one place. I won't be returning

It is what it is. Service was quick to get out drinks and meals. Food came out fine as expected. Large portions! Paying for your meal will take an extra 10 mins because you have to wait for YOUR server to pay. This is the only place I ever seen like that. Took quite a while to wait for the server to finish serving her other tables, plus then take payment from other people also waiting. Very frustrating.

We were told the wait wouldn't be too long, but it was 45 minutes. Waitress kept forgetting to bring water refill so we had to go to the bar and ask. Food tasted good and the serving size was generous, but it was almost cold when we got it. They ran out of French fries.
