We visit this place when we get home every year and up until this year our experiences have been fantastic. This year the service was terrible, the server was too interested in talking with people in the restaurant that she neglected to provide service to other people eating. We had asked for a refills on our drinks shortly after starting our meal but never did receive it, however the people she could not stop talking to were offered refills on more than one occasion. The other thing that caught my attention was that menus were passed from table table without being sanitized in between. This should not be happening in the current world climate. Needless to say that this will be our last visit to this restaurant.

Great place to bring your senior parents for a lunch or supper. The jiggs dinner was delicious and the seafood chowder was wonderful. The service was friendly and efficient with Leanne making us feel at home. Price-wise it was very economical and well worth it. Other reviews should balance price with product and service... you can’t have a fine dining experience for $15 per person. 5 out of 5 for what it claimed to deliver.

Good morning. ,Had an breakfast meal . It was very good. Then myself and my mom had the cheese cake. My dad did not have an cheese cake and he is fine. Last night by 10pm. Started to have stomach cramps. This morning we both had diereea. Had nothing to eat after this meal. The cheese cake caused this. As the breakfast was cooked. It had to be the cheese cake. I may eat there again .,but will never have the cheese cake again.

The best thing about the breakfast was the hashbrowns. And for the price of the biggest breakfast you think coffee or tea would of came with it. The food looked great but the service was not were I expected it to be for an up scale restaurant. I may be back but I'll probably just go somewhere elts for cheeper and have better service. Not even once did the server offer me another refill. But I still did leave a tip.

Horrible horrible service, my boyfriend and our friend just arrived back to the hotel from the restaurant to tell me multiple complaints. First complaint was a screw in my boyfriends food. Next complaint, my friend has a severe allergy and had told the wait staff when ordering his meal what the allergy was. When he receives his meal, his allergen is still in it so he lets the wait staff know and sends it back to the kitchen, where they must have just picked out the allergen because now they are back here at the hotel and he is having a severe reaction. As they where leaving my boyfriend and friend where talking to each other about the meal and heard a member of the wait staff say "oh just shut up". I work in customer service myself, i know days can be rough, but that is ABSOLUTELY NO EXCUSE for the treatment they received today! Absolutely despicable do not bring your family or loved ones here. Ever. My boyfriend is from corner brook and he is telling his family that live here to never visit this establishment again.

Placed a order today from British columbia to send some fish and chips to my friend who is in the hospital there .With covid they needed to call upstairs and get someone to come down . When in Corner Brook sometimes it can be hit or miss when looking for a decent meal, non fast food or inexpensive. Aromas offer from the table or from the counter. Gluten options available. We eat there whenever in Corner Brook simply because no surprises and goodvalue with great staff.

a very bad experience! Food was terrible! Ordered fettuccine alfredo it was the very worst I ever ate, just a bottle sauce thrown over noodles! also 3 orders of pork chops at our table, the chops consisted of mostly raw fat! Never eat there again! Our server was very friendly and helpful though!

Waitress took our orders brought out our appetizers at the same time as our meal and didn't notice that we had no beverages not even a glass of water. With our meals almost finished she visited our table on her way to the bathroom and her way out questioned her about our drinks she said would remove them from our bill....poor service

Went there with my 20 month old son was completely Ignored by staff as we sat at dirty table for over 20 mins. Staff was taking care of other customers that showed up after we did. End up leaving feeling like we were unwanted there. For a place that calls there selfs a family dinner really got to get better customers server. Will not be going back there again and would not recommend it to anyone else.

This is the best bang for your buck in the city. If you stick to their staples like the turkey dinner, amazing turkey soup or the breakfast you will not go home hungry or disappointed. However avoid the larger heavier dishes and pastas, usually come out dry or cold and the meat cuts are usually very poor quality.

Horrible service. Waited over an hour for a coffee and tea. No meal. As we walk out our meal magically appears and they want to give it to us at full price in take out bags. Asked for a discount for the very long wait. They were rude to me than. I will mention in this hour we were never checked on once. We sat right in front of the cash. No excuse. Being a diabetic this is very troubling where I had taken my medication in anticipation for the meal. By this point I did not want anything to do with this place.Please listen to my review and don't waste your time or money.

i live in toronto and went to your restaurant 2 time s ordered jig;s dinner and when one of your young waitresses was about to get it your older waitress stopped her and said their was none so i waited outside until one of her family member;s went in and well and behold their she was serving them a large portion of your famous jig;s dinner ..well my son i posted it all over the Facebook and told all my traveller friend;s not to go their because of this so sorry you have such a bad person waiting on people with very poor skill;s and i will tell you this none of my family will ever enter this resultant again .
