The Casual Gourmet did a fantastic job catering our smallish (65 people) backyard wedding. Our coordinator was Sofia, and from the start she was incredibly helpful, responsive, and pleasant to work with. We had a rough idea of the kind of reception we wanted, and she really helped us conceptualize everything and flesh it all out. She also offered great suggestions and recommendations along the way. We were from out of state, and were able to work out much of the arrangements over the phone. Then we met before the wedding to go over logistics, and Sofia was very thorough in making sure she knew the setting, the timeline, and had everything her team would need. Day of, the catering team, headed by Sofia, was quick and professional. We had passed and stationary hors d'oeuvres, and the servers made sure to find my husband and I frequently so we could eat food while we were busy taking photos and mingling. All the food was delicious, the stationary setups were lovely, the bartender was great, and everything was cleaned up at the end, with the leftovers packaged up and left in the fridge for us. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend The Casual Gourmet to anyone!

My husband and I worked with the Casual Gourmet for our wedding in September in Wellfleet and could not recommend them enough! When planning our event, food was one of the most important things to us... we love to eat and wanted to provide our guests with a high quality, elevated, delicious meal that also felt very "Cape Cod." The Casual Gourmet team was absolutely fantastic to work with. Mary Lyons (Di Renzo) helped with the planning and the tasting and Deb (not sure last name) was our day of planner. They were both so organized, communicative and professional. The service throughout the night was flawless and the food came out hot! We got many compliments and there were LOTS of clean plates. The appetizers were also incredible!! Mini lobster rolls and a raw bar!! We were in heaven. We truly had the best day and Casual Gourmet helped bring our vision to life!

This is my favorite place to get a cranberry orange muffin. Soft, moist, crunchy sugar topping that I cannot for the life of me figure out how to recreate... everything in here is phenomenal. If you really want to treat yourself try one of the fudge bombs. I'm not sure it's something you should eat with your hands or even in front of another person but it's 100% worth the calories.

It was my girl's birthday and she just had to have a strawberry cake with strawberry frosting and I called 26 places and no one could do it. The Casual Gourmet said sure no problem and it turned out to be one of the most delicious cakes I've ever had. We highly recommend the use of this wonderful Bakery

They did my daughters birthday cake this year and it came out so beautiful! We did the Barbie cake on top of a 1/4 sheet cake as a base and it turned out better than I ever expected. My daughter loved it!! Thank you so much

The cutest and most delicious part of our wedding. We had a small one tier DELICIOUS GLUTEN FREE CAKE decorated with sugar and real flowers on top of cupcakes! I could not believe how delicious the gluten free cake and cupcakes were. We can't thank you enough!!! Go here for lunch AND hire them for your wedding!

I've been getting my cakes from here for years. They are always nicely decorated and very tasty. The staff has always been very professional and nice. Today they went above and beyond and really saved me. I picked up my son's birthday cake and brought it home where my 6 month old puppy pulled it off the kitchen table and ate part of it. It was my son's 21st birthday and I was really bummed out since he tremendously looks forward to this cake. I called casual Gourmet and they were able to get a new cake together and decorated for me within 20 minutes. Their kindness and help we're really appreciated!

We were very fortunate to have had Casual Gourmet cater our daughter's wedding on 10.01.16. The food was delicious and beautifully served ... the staff was friendly and beyond efficient ... and the event was just beautiful (despite a soaking rain). Kudos to Olive Chase for directing this event ... the location as well as the inclement weather presented some obstacles which were expertly managed by everyone from Casual Gourmet.

My husband and I got married at The Coonamessett Inn on August 26th. The Coony uses The Casual Gourmet for the wedding cakes with a discount. I will say that this is the best cake we have ever had, and our guests were raving about the two different flavors - Funfetti style with buttercream frosting and a lemon cake with raspberry filling. The staff here is extremely pleasant to work with. We met with the staff several weeks prior to the wedding, where they showed us pictures of their most popular cakes. We chose a beautiful white cake with edible white chocolate starfish, sugar sand at the base, and Adirondack chairs on the top with beachy picket fences. It was amazing! Thank you, Casual Gourmet!

The woman we worked with understood our style and was able to help us design the perfect wedding cake. When we arrived at our reception and saw our cake, it was perfect!
