This place is amazing, by that I mean in terms of food and customer service. They have it all right.????????. Have been here a few times and have loved their food every single time and am impressed with their customer service. Yesterday called in requesting if they could make black pepper beef and the girl on the phone immediately asked me how i would like it and she said they have something similar - peppercorn beef, but she can change it according to our description. It was a pick up order. I loved the way it was made. Better than what I was looking for. Kudos Chef. And ????????????????thanks again for the amazing food and I am one very happy customer now. That is going above and beyond for me in terms of customer service. Thank you.????????

Ive been there four times now since they've opened and I have been more than pleased each time I've ordered. The hostess is very pleasant, easy to understand and she is able to write down everything that I need to omit in my food. She is very clear and well spoken. The food itself speaks on another level. The meat is very fresh and clean, nothing is dry or doesn't have too much cornstarch like other indian chinese places. The food is pipping hot and very delicious!! Even the lunch menu has a lot of food for the price. I would highly recommend the Tandoori fried rice and the chilli chicken. The price point is very reasonable too !! Just wish you guys went on skip the dishes so that there is delivery !

Yummy Indian hakka food at reasonable prices. The Schezuan fried rice has a fiery spice to it. And the chili chicken and Manchurian chicken are super yummy. Portions are quite generous as well We regularly order from here. Would recommend.

This place is AMAZING! I've come here many times and tried many different veg plates, they're all A1. Good portion sizing, and so many wonderful flavours going on. The lunch special is 8.99 and you get salad, soup, steamed rice and a veg roll on the side. One of my favourite spots in the city, hands down.

Something went wrong! This is our go to place for Hakka food which is usually good, but at our last visit perhaps they got it wrong, the fried dry cauliflower were bland, the mixed vegetables with tofu had mushrooms in it even though we said no for mushrooms. Overall this is still our go to Hakka place. Given them the benefit of doubt.

We went there by seeing reviews 4.3 star. 1. Too much color in chicken rice 2. Chicken chilli was too much salty. Two people had throat issues next day including me (Not sure its food color or oil used) and Not sure why you add color when it will not impact taste. Horrible food and will not go again.

Visiting this place for the first time with my family and friends. The restaurant ambiance is decent, nothing the stands out, just the standard feel. The staff are decent, they help you with the menu. We ordered a bunch of items to try. Red curry, Manchurian chow mein, Crispy Beef, Chicken fried rice, Garlic Chicken and fried Paneer for appetizer. As the name suggests the restaurant is a Hakka/Chinese restaurant, however the dishes the prepared in south Asian (Indian) style, which Iam sure some people will surely prefer that. The food is very delicious and we all enjoyed each dishes to the fullest. Standard portion sizes and the dishes are reasonably priced. There is ample amount of space to enjoy with a big party. Highly recommend this restaurant for an evening of Hakka Food!

This restaurant is absolutely lovely, I very much enjoy their food. The fact that it’s also halal is such a plus. Nowadays it’s become harder to be able to find such amazing food while also being halal. Very good for the Muslim community. The food is delicious as well, a lot of options on the menu. Service is also very good. Kind waiters who always welcome you with a smile. You can never go wrong with Hakka Spice, one of the best restaurants near me. Would recommend to anyone.

The food is good, serving size was very large. We were expecting smaller portions so we ordered one plate for each person yet to be presented with a plate full of food to feed 2-3 people. Most places I've been to would recommend to get a smaller amount of items if they knew it would be too much. Here they didn't do that at all proving they only cared to get more money out of us we were quite disappointed about that but overall it was a decent place I would go again.

The lady recognized my voice (because I am a frequent customer) and told me I will pay later... I really appreciate these gestures to customers. Our guests really liked the honey garlic fish and lemon chicken I ordered. You just gained new customers. Also, side note --- because it was thanksgiving, it took longer to get our food. They gave us free springrolls. If I could give you 6/5 stars I would.

I usually not too worried about small things, but I went all the way to Mississauga for a takeout order as few friends suggested this restaurant. I'm sorry to say that the food orders did not meet the expected standards, or even food plate photos they have on Google or their wepage. We ordered Chilli Chicken, and Chicken Chow Mein but alongwith Ginger ir Garlic Fish with Chicken Shezwan but No where close to what it appeared in photos. I guess they rushed through their orders and missing the quality or presentation. Food taste was ok, super dry but ok. Worst was that Chilli Chicken and Garlic/Ginger Fish both tasted exactly same, same texture, and absolutely no difference in appearance either. Looks like they tossed both chicken and fish in the same wok and later added some garlic/ginger to the fish. I could not differentiate between fish or chicken pieces either. Now I will ask my friends for money back LOL. Will I go back there again all the way from Oakville?? May be, I'll give them one more chance and see how they do.

The servers are polite, helpful and attending. The food is served with delay as they priotorize take-out orders. It is not the best hakka food I ever had but still delecious. We tried fried beef, bombay chicken and fried rice. All served in acceptable quality. The restaurant is clean and has several tables in two seating areas. The food is reasonably priced.

I have tried the following dishes....Chicken pakora, Manchurian fish , Special hakka chowmein, Manchurian chicken , Special Tandoori chicken fried rice & Bombay chicken. They were all good & they even taped the containers so that it wouldn't spill when you are driving. Very thoughtful..... Thanks guys ! Customer service as usual is EXCELLENT. As far as Hakka-Chinese goes I'd rate this among the top. Their food isn't overly greasy. You can actually taste the chicken when eating. Rice was a little undersalted, but that's an easy fix. Restaurant was clean, very open (not crowded) and quiet. Servers were very polite and quick to attend. Food was a little slow coming out.

Hakka Spice didn't ring my bell. I was excited to try this new spot - I love Hakka food. My personal favourite and the reason I went, was for the chili chicken w/gravy. I ordered from the lunch menu, the price with tax was just over $10, so average for the local area. The salad, is just that, about a cup of lettuce with cucumber and some red cabbage for colour, no dressing - boring. The chili chicken has an unbalance rice to chicken ratio (weighing too heavily on the rice portion - nearly 2:1) and where is the chili? I didn't have a single one in my dish, I'm not sure where the heat was? The flavour profile, meh. The accompanying hot and sour soup, missing many goodies, more brothy (well thick brothy from the cornstarch) spicy, but bland. I will say, you won't be hungry. The staff is polite, the place is clean. For me though, the food was the draw that didn't deliver. If you're a chili chicken fan - the best I've found is Faley Restaurant (but it's farther out at Islington and 401 ... near(er) by is Avani Asian Indian Bistro in Mississauga - more pricey than Faley, but comparable excellence of flavour.

Staff was friendly and the place was clean. What I didn’t like was my food. I was told it was spicy hot and it was not at all spicy. I asked for chili peppers, which is common for Hakka style restaurants to serve, and instead I got a container with about 5 very small pieces of chili and the rest was vinegar. It was called ‘chili vinegar’.

For a Saturday evening, I was glad to find seating easily. Tried their Chef's special Mongolian Beef and Spicy Karachi Chicken and both were excellent in taste. One dish can easily serve 2 people. Staff was very courteous too. I will be visiting this place again.

Prices are very fair and food is good (minus the soup as it had far too much soy sauce). We got the Szechuan rice, chilli beef (dry) and Shanghai Noodles which were great. We also got the General Tso sizzler, which although not my preference, others had good things to say about. Additionally, we had chicken lollipop and the squid appetizer, which tasted a bit frozen but still pretty decent overall. I also have to add that the service was great and the manager/owner kept checking up on us providing water refills.

Best Chicken Pakoras anywhere. The green spicy dipping sauce is a real crowd pleaser. Fish Pakora is ok, I am not a sea food eater but their fish is probably the best I have had but it could use more flavor. They taste a bit bland, could use more of the Chicken Pakora flavor. Fish is more like breaded fish sticks and not mixture like the Chicken. Their Lolipop Chicken is very good and chrispy too but not as flavourful and the Chicken Pakoras.

We were looking for some really good chinese food and decided to try Hakka spice going purely by the reviews posted here.. but it was a complete disappointment when we actually went there... We made it clear before placing the order itself that we were looking for spicy food and the server suggested an option, we just went along with what she said. The food took too long to be served in the 1st place and it was nowhere close to spicy not even medium spice rather. When we asked for the food to be changed according to our request (which we had right at the start of placing the order) there was this steward who says "just add the sauce that is kept on the table cuz we would be adding the same sauce in the kitchen to spice up the food for u" that for me was completely ridiculous. The portions of food and all is fine but i just felt that if the customer is trusting you to suggest whats best that u have given the fact that he/she has made the preferences clear, then i guess it should have been taken care of by the staff.

Very nice Hakka restaurant. Reasonably priced however having frequented many Hakka restaurants over the years, I find their portions could be more generous. Food was made fresh and flavorful. Decor could be improved somewhat - cozy but still feels like a large empty space. Will continue to visit this restaurant as I feel it's one of the best Hakka in Mississauga.

I really like their food. It’s definitely on the spicy side, which I love but the wife can’t handle too well. I’ve ordered from here at least half a dozen times and haven’t had a bad meal. The customer service is always so good. Super friendly and kind. Good peoples, selling good food. Try their spicy garlic shrimp DRY. Ginger crispy beef. Their chow meins are good.

Excellent Hakka food. I have tried so many hakka places in Gta and have been disappointed but this place is awesome. I love Manchurian pakora and chilli paneer that they make. Their service is exceptional. I called them yesterday to place order for my kids birthday party and asked them to keep it ready by 11.45 am. The store opens at 12pm but they still accommodated my order and I received call from them at sharp 11.45 that the order is ready. Amazing service. To top it all they sent a box of spring rolls on the house which was amazing. Everyone loved the food. Thank you for having such an exceptional service and food !! Keep it up ????

Delicious hakka food with good blend of spicy and mild menu items !! Manchurian soup was very tasty. My house spcl schezwan fried rice was sizzling spicy and wifes hakka noodles had a mild smoky flavour. My son liked the chefs special sweet n spicy crispy chicken. Portions were generous too. Closest to indian-style chinese restaurant taste in the area.

I used to go here all the time, but after my last experience, I will not be going back. I placed an order using their app for dinner before 7pm. I mentioned in the notes it was for dining in. I called just to confirm that they received the order, and they explained that ordering through the app meant the meal was strictly for takeout, but would make an exception this one time since I didn't know (and because it wasn't listed on the app anywhere). A few minutes later I received a call from Hakka Spice stating that I wouldn't receive the 10% because I was dining in, which I said was fine, but I confirmed that the order would be ready by 8:15pm because we had somewhere to be directly after, and they said yes. When we arrived at 8:10pm, the table was ready. After twenty minutes the appetizers (pakoras) came out. After another 30 minutes the soup came out, and then 45 minutes after the mains started coming out. We mentioned that the service was slow, and that we had ordered in advance to avoid this issue with our server who took things personally and told us that she spoke to someone on the phone about the app (which has nothing to do with the slow service especially considering how few people were dining in, and how early we had placed the order). I also could tell the server was annoyed with us even though we had been nothing short of polite even after waiting an hour and a half for mains. We ended up paying the 10% discounted on the app before leaving, and received a very disingenuous apology about the slow service followed by "ordering on the app means takeout". Like thanks, we know now. That's something you need to mention on there.

We had the General Tao chicken and the Chili Chicken. Neither dish was very good and it was hard to tell them apart, because they were both so underwhelming. No real distinct flavours. These are two of our favourite dishes, when prepared well. The two stars are for the cashier who was pleasant. Zero stars for the food.

i m a foddy person. i love to try new food every day, so i tried in so many restaurants to get a homemade felling. then one of my best friend suggested me to check in hakka spice. So today i go there i m not shure about the opening hours of the restaurant and i reach there on there closing time usually people say no to dine in at that time coz its there time to go home but i really like that when one of there best server offer ne a seat, that shows how they value there customers. then i order so many things and yeah they guyes r running busy as its a weekend still there waiting time is less. so now i finally got a place in Mississauga to dine and take out. Must try there fried rice, noodles & spring rolls. i personally like them a lot. staff is really cool, best people r working in this place. if they allow me to give 100 ⭐️ definitely i will give to them. but service, staff, food, place everything is perfect ???? 5 ⭐️ are very less to give there best service but sorry guys this is the best i can gave here✌????. definitely i will recommend everyone your name when rhey ask me to go for dinner lunch or breakfast. hakka spice in the first name i recommend them❤️. see you guys very soon. maybe tomorrow ????

Had the pleasure of trying this Hakka place out for the first time last night and it was wonderful! Food was seasoned really well, good amount of spice to the spicy dishes, and the hot garlic chicken is amazing. Really worth a shot as it’s delicious and budget-friendly.

Great Hakka food. Loved their steamed momos (dumplings). There's both quality and quantity there and for those around Winston Churchill, you no longer have to go to far-away Royal Jasmine for quality Hakka. Oh! Another thing - the customer service is one of the best there.

First I would love to say that my experience was excellent the food was amazing, I got the general tao's chicken. Absolutely fantastic dish if you want more of a Chinese dish. My friend got mancherian chicken. That dish is closer to a curry than a Chinese dish. But both dishes had a great blend of both cultures. Second, I'm going to take the opportunity to call out Amir Sukhera and his review. For those that don't know, like Amir, Hakka is a blend of Indian and Chinese cuisine. His review would indicate that he has zero cultural diversity in any way. I encourage you to read it, with the knowledge that he is bashing the combination of flavours, which is the definition of Hakka. His review is equivalent to saying an apple is bad because it too much like an apple and not enough like a steak. Great place, friendly staff. Would recommend. And I will be going here again.

Got take away. Very disappointing. Bad food. Waste of money. The chicken lollipop had a very hard covering with just a thick layer of fried dough. And the worst was hot and sour soup. It actually was stinking. May be one of the ingredients were rotten. It was so smelly we felt like vomiting. We called the restaurant. They offered to give us something else. But if one item uses rotten ingredients, we won’t trust this place ever again. 2 stars for eatable fried rice.

Nice Indian Chinese food, taste same as I was eating in India. Located at very convenient plaza on Winston Churchill and Dundas, next to Oakville in Mississauga. Food was requested medium spicy and we got the same. Service was fast and girl on phone was helpful. Quantity is enough we are not able to finish in one go. Price is right compared to another Indian stores in Mississauga.

Disgusting hakka food, ordered take out coz my inlaws live around the area, ordered general tao chicken, it looked and tasted like it was in dipped in nothing but sugar syrup,no other flavours in taste, ordered salt and pepper prawns - the fried prawns looked miserable and dry, tastes was no different, peas the vegetables that came with it looked tastes nothing but oil, ordered chowmien no flavour but of the oil cooked in. I don't know how this place gets a 4.3 rating, and surely not sure what others are eating, this place is more like a 1.5 kinda place,and def gives hakka a bad name. not to mention 2 out of three people who ate it had a bit of stomach issue the following morning, maybe they have sensitive gut or food made in this restaurant requires a tougher digestive system.

I'm not sure about how can someone rate this place so good. Food was awful, forget about hakka Chinese I would seriously doubt if their chef knows how to cook food or what good food is. Sweet corn soup was super sweet and full of cornstarch. Chilli Chicken was crunchy deep fried chicken in some tasteless spicy sauce. Chilli paneer was equally bad in same sauce. The best thing I liked about this restaurant was they're plain rice offered with food and their staff who served us very well because we were the only customers there. It was dinner time and for the full 45 minutes we were there, neither did any customer show up nor they got any phone call for a takeout order. Guys beware!!! don't fall for the reviews like we did and stay away from this place. Trust me there are much better hakka Chinese food restaurants in the area and Google is your friend. Update: I really appreciate the owner taking out time to reply on my review. I never said the reviews were fake but all I wanted to say was that after reading all the reviews, I ended up going to this restaurant and compared to other Hakka restaurants, I did not like this restaurant's food at all. The servers and staff were cheerful and courteous and I would have felt guilty if I would have given a bad feedback about the food right on their face.

A nice family run restaurant our go to place for hakka chinese in gta. We drive all the way from Burlington for their food. Their food is always fresh and they don't mind customizing food according to our dietary restrictions and needs. Sam is always a pleasure to talk to. The best part is she remembers my food allergies and even when I forget she never does. Would give this place 10 stars if possible.

Been going here years and never had an issue but this was so off-putting that I'll not go again. As a vegetarian, I especially love the selection. Ordered take out and the staff who took the order was very pleasant. We ordered chilli chicken with gravy, house fried rice with chicken and shrimp, and chicken pakoras. Though the chilli chicken was good, the pakoras were raw -- runny batter in the middle! The fried rice was crunchy. Though disappointed, I may order in the future but only their chilli chicken.

I ordered chilly chicken and chicken fried rice and by far this was the worst quality food I have ever had in Mississauga. If you are unaware of chilli chicken recipe, I would ask you to please check YouTube and get a clear idea. The rice in chicken fried rice was uncooked and frozen vegetables were used which was also uncooked. The quality of this place has deteriorated so much and I would never recommend this place.

Good casual place. Generous portions and well priced. Staff are courteous. The decor is simple, nothing to rave about, but the food is the real star! I love how they were so generous with vegetables in the combo dishes. We had the Kung Pao Chicken, Mongo Basil Chicken and Manchurian cauliflower. Definitely returning. Great for take-out.

After my staff had brought this back for lunch, I had to go visit them for myself. Ordered for pick up and wasn't disappointed! Food was fresh and delicious. I wish I was able to keep some for lunch the next day, but it never made it that long. Tip: If you are picking up your first order, don't be surprised to see steamed rice in your bag, many of the entrees come with it. Going to be regulars here for sure. Location is perfect (close to work and home) friendly people in a friendly atmosphere, wishing them much success! Now I have to go and place an order for tonight!

This was our first time to try this place. We ordered hot and sour soup, sesame beef, spicy garlic fish, chicken with broccoli and mushrooms. Out of all, I would say sesame beef was thee best. Rest of the food was too salty for our taste buds. Having said that, with a good service, I’d like to give it another try on another day.

What a waste of money and a huge huge disappointment. The chilli chicken was basically hard fried dough and very hard and dried up to chew.. the chilli beef had more gravy and onions then beef. The chicken pakoras were like tandoori golf balls that you could hit at a driving range. Awful hakka food, needless to say we won't be ever going back. Zero stars..

I ordered veg chowmein noddles, the taste was not good at all and also there was hair in the box and that's really disappointing. I called the restaurant to complain just to inform them to maintain hygiene she asked me to bring the box I said I am not going to bring a box of hair I did not asked for the refund neither I asked for exchange I am just advising to maintain hygiene for other customers. I definitely don't recommend this place.

Updated Jan-2018 The Manchurian was again amazing the sauce/gravy is the star of the dish. The Hot n Sour Soup was great, a little bit more spicy hot for the family, however perfect for me. The Szechuan Paneer Fried Rice was for the family and they loved it. The spice again a bit on the higher side than expected, but good. However we requested NO eggs in the Fried Rice and towards the end we found a few pieces of eggs. All Indian restaurant chefs know that one DOES NOT put eggs in a Vegetarian dish. Disappointing to say the least Review notes from an earlier visit Was in the neighbourhood and daughter was looking for something not fast food. Had been to Longo's nearby and seen this sign a week ago. Decided to give it a try, but wanted something to take home. The inside is still not ready as of yet. The decor inside seems incomplete and does not seem to be a place where you can still eat in. When inquired found out that the restaurant had opened less than three weeks ago. Once complete would surely give it a try. Picked up a Veggie Manchurian and a Vegetarian Fried Rice. No waiters just the owner/manager busy with some big takeout order. The Manchurian comes with an order of steamed rice. The Manchurian was spot on. Perfectly spiced, good flavour. The pakoras was a bit soggy for us, but perhaps it was take out. The Fried Rice was amazing. The rice was long grain rice and not sticky rice kind. The rice not at all greasy which we like. The spices used was different and came out authentic Hakka taste; Indian Style. Not too spicy and perfect blend of rice and spices. The veggies couldn't have been a bit more. The plain rice was good. All in all, good food, averagely priced. But the taste was amazing. Can't wait to come back and try other dishes and perhaps do a sit in.

This is a small family run restaurant that produces some outstanding Hakka Food, and they have excellent customer service too. We've eaten at many Hakka restaurants, but this is a step above the rest. We really enjoy the Vegetable Pakora appetizers, crispy, and light, with a good kick, Crispy Sesame Beef, very crisp, not overly sweet, sweet & Spicy Chicken all popular and items we've had more than once. My absolutely favourite dishes are Butter Chicken, it's really full of flavour, rich and creamy full of spices, and the Manchurian Fried Cauliflower, fried, with just the right amount of spice. Every dish comes with steamed rice. You can do take out or delivery, and get a 10% discount if you use their app.

Good choice for Indo Chinese.. Their mixed fried rice and Gen Tao's Chicken is highly recommended. For Chilly chicken its advisable to try the spicy flavour..the toned down version is quite bland.Quantity is also pretty good.

Tried this place a couple weeks ago. Hidden little gem, the teller was extremely pleasant they needed time to make my order but well worth the wait. Everything was freshly made and everything extremely tasty. I forget which chicken dish I had and tried their shrimp pakoras, all fresh and well portioned. Will be ordering from here again.

I was looking forward to some indo-Chinese food while visiting Canada, and unfortunately this didn't hit the spot. We ordered chowmein, rice, chicken lollipops, and spring rolls. Spring rolls and rice were okay, I didn't jump out of my chair but I was able to eat them. The chowmein and chicken lollipops were quite disappointing and tasted dry and flavorless. My husband tried the lollipops and claimed most of the chicken had been stripped off. ???? Sadly, we left most of it untouched and it wasn't cheap but what can a girl do eh. The service was good, however, no complaints on that. I guess I'll have to keep searching for 'the one'.

Family run and super sweet. I am a serious fan of Dry Chili Fish and this did not disappoint. The fish was crisp and very moist with a good amount of heat. This place is very quiet & peaceful to dine, but that doesn’t mean they have no customers. There’s a steady line of people coming in for take-out. Staffs are really polite and attend to you promptly. And more importantly, the food is amazing. The chef, Binod, has magic in his culinary skills. He has deliciously blended the Indian flavor in his dishes. The lollipop chicken is a must-try. The noodles are yummier than the rice dishes.

Searching online for a halal chinese spot and stumbled on this little place Hakka Spice really hit the spot. Taste was good quantity was good ordered 4 gravy dishes noodles and an app. All the gravy dishes were hands down amazing in taste and quantity the app chicken pakora was a little doughy. Noodles the chicken tasted kind of stale but other then that everything was superb will definitely come back again!!

The food is great tasting, and portions are hearty aswell. Favorite of mine is general tao and lollipop chicken combo, with special chowmein. They're never slow or delay the order, and will let you know before you order if they are busy and it will take a bit longer than normal.

I've tried a lot of Hakka places in Ontario but this one has been the best so far. The best thing about them is that their flavours and quality is always consistent, unlike most places I've been to. Portion sizes are good and the service is always quick and friendly. It's a great little family run restaurant and they make great food. We eat here so often now that they know our regular order when we call. Highly recommended for anyone looking for good Indian Chinese food.

We came here for dinner on a Saturday and it was surprisingly empty. The staff is very attentive and welcoming. We were seated quickly, and after ordering our food arrived quickly as well. The food was all very good, and not as spicy as we expected, which was a good thing. The menu has many different options to choose from, including vegetarian choices. These portions are very large, so we were easily able to share each plate between four people. I would recommend this restaurant and would visit again!

Came here over the weekend for takeout. My order consisted of Chicken Pakora Chilli Beef Schezwan Noodles General Tso Chicken The quality of food was very disappointing. The only dish that was remotely good was the general tso chicken. The pakora was overcooked, tasteless and dry while the chilli beef was watered down and watery. The empty diner area should have been a red flag but I decided to try it anyways, a mistake I won't make again.

Pretty good price for what you get. I'm not sure about others but the first (also last) time I ordered takeout from the app, it took 45-50 minutes to get my food. It usually takes 15 minutes when ordering from phone so I assume they didn't see the app order until I got there or they forgot. Either way, the food is good but I'd order thru the phone for takeout.

Money well wasted !! If you get the urge to throw your money out, Hakka Spice is the place to do it in !! The food lacked flavour and was mediocre at best. Somebody ought to tell them that chicken pakoras (hakka style) is not tandoori chicken balls (that's north indian, by the way) !
