Amazing customer service but we were disappointed with the food. Both myself and my partner had bennies and the hollandaise sauce was really off and tasted like chicken broth for some reason. We couldn't finish our food and we were really hungry. Beautiful service and we really wished we could have loved the food

Really delicious, great service. Stopped there today on a random day-trip to Chilliwack. The locals swore it was the best place to eat in that area, so definitely had to try it out. So glad we got there before closing. Very clean, simple place in a commercial/industrial area. Easy to miss when driving by if you're not from Chilliwack, but we eventually found it. If you pass the Harley dealership on the right, you've gone too far down Old Yale. Ordered a club sandwich on sourdough, the server was great, very efficient, polite. She obviously knew her stuff. She told me I'd have my food in 10 minutes, and I did. Nice surprise. She even offered to bring it outside to me when ready, where we were waiting in our car, which was very nice of her. I've gotta say, this was the best club sandwich I've had in many years....very possibly ever. Served with a really nice balsamic dressing for the salad I ordered as a side, thick slices of white meat turkey, CRISPY properly cooked bacon (not that slimy microwaved stuff *gag*), as well as a big, gorgeous slice of pickle on top. Old school. I was fully impressed when I opened the takeout boxes & nearly piddled myself when I bit into that stack of yum....you rarely run across food of this quality anymore, not to mention the service. The prices are also incredibly reasonable considering how much a crappy burger with nasty fries & a drink at McDonald's will set you back, both financially & health-wise. Cookie's is serving real, quality food that I'd go back for again & again. Very much impressed & can't wait to try more from their menu the next time we go out there. You won't find anything like this in Vancouver, Surrey, or anywhere in between as far as I'm concerned. Very glad we made a stop here today.

The food here is all such amazing comfort food I just discovered this place one month ago and have already been four times. The pricing here is so cheap for all of the things that you get they have a huge selection for breakfast lunch and dinner. During the week it is not too busy but if you go on a weekend you will probably have to wait 10 to 20 minutes. It can be difficult to find parking because it is in a small location and there are other buildings around it but there is parking on the street. If you have a sweet tooth I recommend trying the waffle sticks they are so good just like a churro

I was so struck with the delicious food and the fantastic friendly staff that I invited them into our select wedding professionals Fraser Valley Wedding Solutions. The bride gave me a raving review. No question, it was a great decision! Now after experiencing even more wedding dinners courtesy of Cookies, I am even happier, and look forward the the next! The food is GREAT and the staff are GREAT. I would use them for my own daughters wedding (July 5th) but alas, she choose Calgary ... but I still get to partake in fantastic breakfasts here at Cookies Grill here in Chilliwack!

Earily mornings in Chilliwack many restaurants are not open....but Cookies Grill is! My decision to order the 3 egg, 1/2 waffle, shredded hash browns & bacon was a good suggestion from the friendly server. The food was excellent with the bacon crisp and the eggs just right. I was offered an newspaper and my breakfast came promptly after ordering. I enjoyed the free wifi and watched some Netflix after skimming the newspaper with my meal. I’ll come here again ????

Absolutely the best breakfast in Chilliwack. I am a fan of the classics and they never disappoint with really cheap prices for amazing food. Good keeps flowing and is really good which is a must for any breakfast joint. I have had friends go off the lunch menu and it has never failed to be great. This is one of the few places that keeps me coming back. A simple trick is if there is parking there are seats if not it might be a bit of a wait.

Based on other reviews, we were very excited to visit this restaurant for breakfast. The place was packed with customers ever waiting outside in line for a table. After about 40 minutes we were seated in a considerably overcrowded dining area. Service was very good, and our order arrived promptly. Unfortunately, the food was nothing more than acceptable, certainly not worth the extra wait and cramped seating arrangement.

So happy that they are asking for vaccine proof here - makes me feel a lot better being in a shared space with strangers knowing that everyone there has been vaccinated. Really enjoyed the vegan quinoa and black bean chili and the staff were very friendly. I’d give five stars if they had more vegetarian items on the menu, but they were willing to make some dishes without the meat. We are from Vancouver where vegetarian and vegan foods are the norm at most restaurants. This restaurant is in Chilliwack (farm country) which probably doesn’t have a large vegetarian/vegan clientele. Certainly would recommend the place to anyone.

This was a surprising breakfast/brunch place. At first it looked like an office warehouse place but inside was packed like any sort of diner. It's off the highway which is perfect. The food came in timely and fresh. It was tasty plus they had variety in their menu. If I ever make a trip again to go east from Coquitlam and need to break my fast I know where to go.

Great restaurant, location in an unusual place. This could be considered one of those out of the way places that only the "locals" know about, but it's actually quite well known by many people who live in Chilliwack, or those who are just passing through. Good portions, good selection, pleasant and efficient servers, and absolutely great value for money. When we were here today, a party of 11 people, they placed a few tables together in the middle of the restaurant, we all squeezed ourselves around it, and they did whatever was required to feed us the best breakfast ever !

Cookies Grill is pretty damn good. I ordered the crispy chicken burger with Poutine. Their fried chicken is top notch. I'm either ordering chicken and waffles or the fried chicken eggs benedict next time. The poutine was alright, but nothing special. My wife ordered a burger and a strawberry milkshake. The burger was pretty good... Very similar to the ACE Cheeseburger from Original Joe's (smashed burger with processed cheese). The milkshake was phenomenal. I wished I had ordered one myself. The servers were efficient and friendly, despite being slammed by a lunch rush. Overall a great place. I'll be going back.

Cookies Grill is tucked away along the industrial area of Chilliwack. The restaurant itself is super cozy inside and you can seat yourself where there is an open table. We came around 11AM and most of the tables were full. We decided to try three different items off the menu because we were super hungry. We got the Baja skillet with a side of french toast, the beef dip and also, the BBQ bacon cheddar prime rib burger with onion rings. My favorite dish out of all three was the prime rib burger - the patty itself was super juicy and the made in house onion sticks give the burger a nice crunchy texture. My second favourite was the beef dip - it was a huge sandwich stuffed with roast beef. Super tasty! Will definitely be back again when I am in the Fraser Valley.

Looking for a Great Breakfast Place? Cookie's Grill is the Best in Chilliwack! All Around Friendly Service, Family Oriented, Prices are Fair and the Meals are Great!!! Very accommodating with Special Requests like Gluten Free items and the servers are all very knowledgeable. On the downside, you have to wait a bit cause Cookie's is extremely popular and the parking might be hard to get on a busy weekend, it can get a little hard to hear across the table as it echoes much but if you're used to loud then Cookie's is the place for you! So if you want to try them, go early to get a great table!

This is a great place for breakfast and lunch. They open early - 5:30 a.m. Monday to Saturday and 7:30 on Sunday. The staff is really friendly. Food is great and always fresh. They serve an excellent coffee. My favourite on their menu is any items in their skillet bowl collection. If you are heading ou east early I highly recommend a breakfast stop here - well worth it.

A really cute diner hidden in a business/industrial area. There was a short 30 minute wait but it was worth it! Server was very kind and the food was as expected : that yummy greasy breakfast diner type food that you crave after a night of drinking. My boyfriend got the platter which was an extremely large portion, while I went for the crab cake benny because I liked how it was on a bed of greens instead of bread or muffin. Coffee and tea are free and endless. The chunky potatoes were super crispy and perfectly fried. My poached egg was perfectly runny. I wish I could come back for lunch!!

The queue was backed up in the doorway when we got there but the wait for a table was only a few minutes. The waitress was super friendly and efficient and the food was top notch. Why anyone would want to stop at a chain or drive through when places like Cookies exist is beyond me, this is how cafés used to be and should be again. Go - you won't be disappointed!

I ordered the ploughman's breakfast which was a good size and came with perogies, sausage, pancakes, hash browns and two eggs. The only reason this place you're not getting 5 stars because I like my toast buttered well and my hash browns crispy, because this was not the case it is only four stars. However I will let the owner know as I leave and after I have paid as I do not want the discount and I would like to come back so I would just like them to be aware of the feedback. I have now at ended this location again today and the food I had was excellent I had exactly the same breakfast as the first time which is the Ploughman's breakfast and this time I have raised my 4-star rating to a 5-star rating because my post was buttered as asked and my hash browns were crispy as requested as well! Kudos to the cookies Grill and the people doing the cooking as well as the servers everybody here is top-notch and the place is clean and extremely busy so be prepared in case there's a bit of a wait. I only had to wait about 10 minutes to be seated and it was a busy time because they're very efficient! I look forward to returning again for another great meal!!!

Love this place. Crazy good deal for Breakfast/Lunch. Food is delicious and coffee is always hot and poured often (and included with breakfast)! This is our any day of the week spot. The staff are super friendly and super fast. Come a bit early or be ready to line up. They are crazy busy but even their long lines clear quite quickly. Don't think we've waited more than 15 minutes and sometimes we have to wait outside it's so busy!

No doubt this place is hype and considered to be the best cafe in town but on all honesty their food was executed poorly, this was my second time visiting this place (all the way from Burnaby) and I have to say the food was terrible. Sausages were undercooked, pancakes were chewy and they forgot to deliver the cinnamon sticks that were part of the order. It appeared as the food was rushed (arrived in under 5 minutes of ordering) and the kitchen seemed overwhelmed. Now that I give this place two stars, I do want to make sure that the manager and the owner of this place knows that the customer service was phenomenal. No issues there but please make sure the kitchen isn't rushing undercooked food ????

I ordered the Pigs in Blankets and it came with chunky potatoes. Although it was tasty, I found the amount of deep fried food difficult to manage without any fruit to balance the meal out. Others with me enjoyed their skillet meals and the waffle sticks were a hit. Our server was lovely and kept our coffee cups refilled.

One of the few that would be quick to respond, travel that far and provide the quality im looking for as im a cook myself and have high standards! Super busy place, has some amazing waitstaff, very friendly people. I got the Canadian burger, it was made very well, but was too greasy. I had a 5 person wait to get in, but it only took 10 minutes for them to get me a seat. I'd recommend avoiding this place on the weekends as it is packed during the busy season. Overall, I would recommend this place, 9/10 for service and food even though it was packed tighter than sardines in a can when I went.

First time here and it was amazing. The menu was daunting at first as so many of the options looked incredible. Kendra, our fantastic waitress, was funny + kind and was able to guide us and recommended a few options. We both ended up ordering her recommendations, the pulled pork Benny, Side of perogies, and the "new" buttermilk fried chicken sandwich. When I'm in the area again, will definitely stop by here for a bite to eat and try more of their menu.

Great little space despite the industrial exterior. Extensive menu with coffee included in the price of breakfast plates. Prompt, friendly service. Food comes out quickly despite how busy they are and is hot and fresh. It seems to be a popular spot to be prepared to wait a bit at peak brunch hours, but the wait is well worth it. The waffle sticks taste like mini donuts in the most delicious way.

Ordered a beef dip, and upgraded the fries to a poutine. I was thinking "oh yeah, upgrade the fries, must be an extra dollar or so." but ladies and gentlemen, on top of your 10 dollar sandwich, you are paying 4/5 dollars for five ICE COLD cheese curds, and some thin gravy. The beef dip sandwich was fairly small, no real pizzazz, and the beef was really fatty, and fairly plain.-> Not good enough to be a 10 dollar sandwich. Don't upgrade to a poutine, just don't do it. Trust me. The au ju was decent and gave it some flavor at least. I've heard the soup is good there, but I hate mushrooms, so i'll have to take my friends word for it. Service was very nice and friendly. Won't ever be going back myself, but they say you should try the soup.

Do I even need to say anything after looking at that plate? There’s nothing on the menu that will disappoint you. I go here whenever humanly possible. So there isn’t enough parking around this restaurant and it’s always a line up at the door. Regardless it’s worth the effort to get in and sit down. From the first time I visited Chilliwack and my boyfriend took me to Cookies, I was hooked!! It is a small place, pretty much always packed but the food is absolutely fantastic. The staff is amazing and they know what they're doing! I live in Edmonton and we visit Chilliwack every summer - the FIRST morning we spend in Chilliwack is started off by going to Cookies and enjoying their fantastic food. It has been 5+ years like this, and will continue on! Also, we were there in January and they upgraded all of their tables/chairs to gorgeous matching wood sets. So beautiful!

Cookies catered our wedding in February of 2019. We had an amazing experience. Firstly, the service and personal care was fantastic. Everyone at Cookies clearly cared about making our wedding special. We actually changed the date after initial booking and they accommodated the change with no hassles. We even mentioned we had a guest with allergies at the last minute and they made him some special desserts without us even asking! Secondly, the food is great. Wow. Just needed to find somewhere to grab a bite. Got waaay more than we bargained for. They serve local beer, which is a very nice touch. The fries are awesome. The kids burger looked fine. The kids grill cheese was impressive to say the least. I ordered the beef dip per our servers recommendation. It was amazing! The beef was stacked high and flavourful. The au jus was nice and flavourful. Subbed onion rings, only 6 or 8 but they were impressive! I’m not one to not finish my meal, but I had to tap out two rings short. My father In law ordered the pot roast meal, and was thoroughly impressed, not an easy feat. The bill was also tolerable for the amount of food for sure! Thanks for the wonderful lunch.

My wife and I come here at least once every other weekend. It is our goto brunch place. We have both tried a number of different things, and we've never had a bad meal. The service is great. My wife likes to get the stuffed french toast. I always try something new, but I always get a side of the waffle sticks because i'm fat. The pricing is more than reasonable for the meal you get, and the coffee is great. They've also partnered with Old Yale Brewing, and support a local ice cream company as well. The only thing to be aware of, is that there's only 15 or so tables. You never have to wait to long, but there's never usually more than a few empty tables in slow times.

Won't be doing skip the dishes with Cookies anymore sadly. Cookies doesn't put butter salt pepper, ketchup Napkind Fork or knife in the bag. Feeling sick today and ordered 35$ for 2 mesls for my children so i didn't have too get up feeling this sick. Well still had to get up. Beccause even though I spent 35$ on 2 meals, nothing was supplied. And if you have too write all that down too recieve it, that is very sad, the high prices should reflect on the service.that you would get these items with out asking. And the food arrived with in 20 minutes and it was Cold. Not happy with this experience

Just went in this morning had a 30 min wait for people to be seated before us and on top they said i guess we have to clean some tables. Yea its covid you should have people cleaning your tables the second people leave. Usually my family goes here all the time. I suggest maybe just take out if they can't get there team work together, how can you trust they've actually sanitized properly.

The pricing is more than reasonable for the meal you get, and the coffee is great. They've also partnered with Old Yale Brewing, and support a local ice cream company as well.I didn't know what to expect as it was on this industrial road but I have to say that this place was awesome! Both our orders were delicious and the service was very friendly. The waffles sticks which came with the Big bold breakfast were so tasty! Definitely a great place for breakfast if you're in the area.

This a classic diner experience that's in a hole in the wall location. It's easy to miss and the parking lot can be tricky getting in and getting out but it's all worth it. You'll receive 5 star service and the food portions are very generous. Every breakfast meals comes with free coffee and you can get breakfast anytime of the day. Definitely recommend this restaurant if you're in Chilliwack.

Very small restaurant but I think that gives a comfy vibe. We had a little bit of a wait for a table but wasn’t too bad. Our eggs were done correctly, bacon was crispy, potatoes were good and pierogis were amazing. The Reese French toast was a little dry but still good. We also true the mint chocolate chip milkshake which was pretty average.

Ordered a crab cake eggs Benny with a side of avocado, and it was absolutely awful. The crab cakes looked like something from the freezer section of the supermarket and smelled nauseating. The hollandaise was inedible, and perhaps worst of all, 60% of the side of avocado was brown and rotten. Sending out rotten food is absolutely appalling to me.

Cookies recently catered our wedding. It was a phenomenal experience! You can tell they have years and years of experience catering weddings. They were professional from the beginning of the process with the tastings to the very end of the reception. They responded right away to all my questions and offered helpful advice as well. On the day of, everything arrived on time and ran on schedule. The food was great and the service was excellent. Couldn't recommend them more!! You get so much more than you pay for with them.

I almost gave 5 stars, but based on recent experiences there, I give 4.5. All the locals know this place and for good reason....it is great food. Lately, a few issues have cropped up - missing ingredients (no cheese in my ham n cheese sandwich LOL). Eggs that were supposed to be "over medium" and were extremely runny. That sort of thing, but service is always top-notch and the food is always tasty. It's one of our go-to places in Chilliwack for breakfast/lunch, along with Jimmys, Cornernook and Loose Caboose.

I had the crab cake benny which was quite tasty the only thing is it didn’t come on a biscuit or English muffin as bennys typically do. It was served on a tiny bit of lettuce. Highly recommended.

I would say that my experience at cookies was very poor to say the least. They catered our wedding and when we went for the sampling all of the food is fantastic. But then when we went back to finalize all of the details we asked him for a tray or two of food to be put out at about 10 o’clock for all of the guests that were dancing. We paid for It and it wasn’t provided, they told us that there was Not enough space in the Fridge at the venue for the trays that we bought and took it upon themselves to just bring them back with them to their restaurant. And when we asked them to cater our rehearsal dinner they told us to order pizza instead and refused. All in all I would not recommend this place to anybody and would never use them again in the future.

My God the staff work hard at this restaurant. Skip the dishes’ orders are going out the door at an amazing rate and the restaurant is full. Amazingly organized. If in Chilliwack and you want breakfast, this is a must stop. Get one of their breakfast skillets, it comes with your choice of French toast, pancakes or toast. Get the pancakes they are amazing. We got the avocado BLT skillet and brunch skillet. They even had outdoor seating for physical distancing during covid.

I could not eat the rest of my food and made me upset that I couldn’t finish it. Just make sure you check for bones in your chicken.????

Cannot be beaten. As retirees we appreciated the very good food at a reasonable price, and the service was excellent. The icing on the cake was that our meal included coffee and tea ( very reasonable coffee and a good quality Earl Grey). If Cookies can include this in the meal price and White Spot charges $3.25 for very ordinary coffee, it shows what an obscene profit some of these chain restaurants are making off inattentive customers. Congratulations to Cookies. We will be back (if there is room).

Went for the first time today and was sadly disappointed. The only good thing was the hostess and waitresses were super wonderful. First cup of coffee was cold. It was taken back and hot coffee after that. I ordered avocado BLT skillet and asked for shredded hashbrowns to be extra crispy. Got the skillet and hashbrowns were raw. Sent it back to them to redo it. Instead of redoing and waiting an addition 15 minutes, they just put it in the oven and cooked the top of skillet. Hashbrowns still raw on the bottom. By this time husband was already done his breakfast, & was not going to wait yet another 30mins for them to try to actually fix it. Nothing but disappointment and now hangry. Do better kitchen cooks.

I love Breakfast places that do things right. This restaurant is designed for functionality, not decor . You can tell by the solid wood chairs and easily cleaned floors and walls the place is easy to clean so it's sanitary. The place is busy. Most excellent places are Despite the odd location and seemingly smallish size, I'd be surprised if this place isn't busy every day. I bring up the way the place is designed because it plays out through the service as well. This is a well oiled machine. There were 4 people waiting when we came in and within two minutes there were 6 more waiting. We all got seated within 20 minutes. The front staff were orchestrated by a field Marshall. Anyone who appreciates quality front staff know what I mean. She was amazing. Positive, competent, efficient and friendly, no way you can rattle her she's a champ. The menu has everything you want in your breakfast and it's delicious. I'm positive whoever's baby this is must be a breakfast freak too. Made by someone who knows what people want. Bacon high quality, coffee solid, not spectacular but that's an unfair expectation in a diner. The quality, taste and portions were all perfect. I had the Texas scramble it was great, witnessed plates of delicious looking waffles with fruit and whipped cream going around. Obviously good for kids too. (Two kinds of hash browns) We live 20 minutes from Vancouver and we're on our way home from Harrison hot springs and it was perfect. If we were closer for sure I'd like to go once a week. We will be making Cookies part of the plans whenever we are eating breakfast near Chilliwack. Guaranteed. Kudos to you guys much appreciated.
