I've been coming here since I was a kid. The spaghetti sauce is my favourite. They have better prime rib than the Keg. Apparently, they have this fancy oven that makes it completely perfect. I have never had a bad meal or experience at Rossini's. It's not cheap but they don't skimp on quality. I'd rather pay a bit more and have a wonderful meal.

Incredibly relaxed atmosphere, servers topped up water, constantly. All food had large portions. Salad dressing was not placed on top of the salad, so visibly different, than you'd usually expect from a restaurant..(usually its tossed already) I had the Liver, and it was absolutely delicious. Dessert was out of this world. Pecan pie, with vanilla ice cream. Bruschetta was incredibly filling, and fresh crisp tomatoes matched the cheese on top. Will be back without hesitation.

Excellent lunch at reasonable prices. I had a New York steak, medium rare. It came as ordered and was very tender. I also had a salad with blue cheese dressing which is made in house. It was also excellent. My wife had beef liver and said it was also excellent. All in all it was very good and is only $13 each.

A quintessential Italian 'Ristorante' with Olde World charm. THE service was great, and the food greater, and lots of it. I had a perfectly done prime rib, that I couldn't finish. I was stuffed! Prices were on par with the quality. A nice place to eat.????

Steak was delicious Side and portions enough for a woman but a man would still be hungry. Better choice of veggies sides. beets and peppers as veggies are very odd choice and a very few would enjoy either. Dessert was great. Cheesecake with house raspberry sauce.

We have eaten at this restaurant several times and it is always amazing! Ask for the table next to the fire on a winter, or damp day and have one of the best romantic dining experiences available. If you appreciate a good wine with your meal, Rossini’s has the largest and most diverse wine list available. Every time my wife or myself has ordered something, it comes presisly the way we ordered it. Rossini’s has the attention to detail that no other restaurant in CK seems to have. I wish I could give it another star

Finest Italian restaurant between Toronto and Detroit. Good and fairly priced wine list. Italian food definitely their strength. Much cheaper prices than a comparable restaurant in Toronto, Lodon or Detroit. Superb ambiance and friendly, informal service. Thanks for several memorable meals!

Had a great time with my Family until everyone had really bad food poisoning.. FYI we ate the stuff mushroom caps, clam chowder soup, full rack of lamb meals and veal parmesan meals. Something made us all have to go to the bathroom and be sick MULTIPLE times later that night.. Never experienced this here before until now. We have eaten here for many years. Not sure if we will be back in the future.

I cant believe the 4+ star rating on this place. Been here twice as an out of towner - once to try it and another time to give them a second chance. This place was very dark and is in DIRE need of a facelift....like it needed it 40 years ago. i had a steak and everything about the food and this atmosphere was considerably less than average. The person I was with RAVED about this place. I was/am perplexed as to why...

I had won a coupon over 2 years ago for valentines day never went until tonight I never had a date to use it on till now it was our anniversary we brought our 11 month old son our dinner was free and still the service we received was phenomenal we left a very good tip at the end they were absolutely amazing offering things to our son for him to eat the food I can not tell u how great it was chicken parm was to die for so good I don't like spring rolls and omg it was good all of the staff went above and beyond exceptional service from the staff we will definitely be going back family friendly lots of laughs we forgot all about life's stressors definitely a night we will remember thank you

Wonderful staff, quiet, cozy environment. Table beside the fire makes for one of the best dining experiences I've had in a very long time. Pam was very attentive and friendly. Food is amazing from apps all the way to desert. Prices are high but to be expected for an establishment of that quality. Will definitely have to make our way back to Chatham to return!

Had New years dinner here. Two 4 course meals with two ceasers was $172. Would have been ok if meal was out of this world but it was just ok. Decent food. Went to chilled cork last year and 4 course meal was only $50 each with champagne and you got a chilled half bottle of wine to go. And AMAZING food. Will maybe go back for pizza. Maybe, felt taken advantage of.

Wonderful food!! Good friendly and helpful service (waitress was genuinely lovely). Very accommodating to wheelchair user. Also 2 in my party required their food cut up; they did this was done in the kitchen and brought out; this provided a sense of dignity for the guests. Highly recommend!

Up until recently this was my favourite restaurant and I have eaten in many places and countries. Covid has certainly had an impact. Understandably menus have been scaled back...I am unhappy that prices have escalated, in my opinion unreasonably. What I most find egregious is the quality of food. A wilted salad with 3 tomatoes on the side and a plop of dressing in the middle is not fine dining. I will leave the rest of the menu un stated. Table cloths and napkins, no intrusive music and excellent service raises Rossinis above other restaurants. I will try again and hopefully return to my 5 star review of the past. ( just a thought- maybe a little extra rather than a little less might keep diner' support...I know, I know "covid".) service

Always love coming here. Inside is air-conditioned and outside patio is nice to sit on a nice night and have the fountain in the background. Fish special was great and the pasta amazing. Tried the chilled cucumber and dill soup and it was good too.

This is an "old school" restaurant for all the right reasons. If you're in a rush don't go. Real food takes a little longer to prepare. Butternut squash ravioli is crazy good.

VERY Expensive ! VERY Little Food for the Price. Like 3 little tiny baby potatoes with my little piece of meat. I don't have a very big appetite at all. I left there hungry. My husband was still VERY hungry when we left there. You pay $35.00 for a small plate of food ? Like What ? It was presentation. I don't want presentation. I want to eat that's the purpose of ordering supper. I would say DO NOT go there. I mean really ? You pay that much per plate and you leave hungry? Ummmm NO !!!! People there are way better fancy restaurants out there that still do presentation and give you LOTS of food and you leave full. Don't Go ! I've eaten all over the world from take out to family restaurants to chain restaurant's to the extreme high end fancy restaurant. I've been to then all. DON'T GO !!!! You'll regret and you will want to go out for supper to another restaurant after eating there.

We enjoyed a special evening out with my elderly father. The restaurant is cozy but well-lit over each table (so important for someone with low vision), the service was warm and attentive, and the food was superb, as usual. The chef created a special Moroccan vegetable stew for my vegan husband (I called ahead), and he was thrilled with his meal (I wished I'd ordered it too, after I tasted his). There's a reason this restaurant has endured for decades. Keep up the great work, Rossini's! Looking forward to our next visit.

Went there on Wednesday they call it date night. $50.00 per couple, each get a glass of wine, share an appetizer, get soup or juice, entree (last night was peppercorn steak or half a cashue chicken) both were excellent, share dessert. The food was good and hot. They gave you a lot too. The waitress we had was excellent.

After reserving, we were seated in an empty dining room. We were happy as we were celebrating an event (we are a couple) Ordered the rossini balls (arrancini) as an app, salad and soup for entree, gnocchi and chicken parm for main. The bread arrived warm and was quite good. That's where it ended. The soup (clam chowder) was clearly out of a can, the salad was standard fare. Arrived an hour after seating. Then came main. Gnocchi dish was hot. The gnocchi itself tasted quite floury. It didn't seem like the gnocchi has been mixed completely. The shredded beef in the dish was overdone and gloggy. For the chicken parm, the chicken was overdone and very dry. The sauce tasted very much like tomato sauce out of a tin. The meat in the spaghetti has an odd taste. Guessing it's cardamom. Very off putting. I suppose our expectation was that Rossini's would have been 4 star. We were very excited to try it, but we won't be back. There is an incredible opportunity at this location. The atmosphere can work and that dining room could be packed daily, but the food is so substandard that it lets the entire place down. Such a shame. There isn't much on the menu, so afternoon to basic cooking skills shouldn't be too difficult. Missing an Alfredo dish on the menu.
