Food was delicious, but we asked for a minute to decide what we wanted for dessert and the server never came back. We waited almost 10 minutes and when we decided to just leave she was eating her lunch. Either she didn't tell the other server to check on us, or she did and the other server just didn't. Either way, it was not a good way to end the meal.

My family and I came here for breakfast, my mother and I ordered Eggs Benedict which both came out wrong. I decided not to bother sending it back but my mother understandably wanted it done right, afterward it came out wrong again. My mother’s breakfast was ruined as she sat there waiting while my sister and I ate. When we got the bill my mother was still charged for her coffee and the one side of sausage she ate (when the second one came out remarkably wrong she gave up on getting it made right, and did not eat the order she received). The whole manner was not dealt with in a professional manner, nor in a timely one, and we were all left uncomfortable by how the server at the cash dealt with the situation. As an aside, my beans I order to accompany my meal were basically as flavourful as my glass of water and i did not finish them after the first bite. If a cook can not cook a poached egg, it’s remarkable to think they could gain employment at a breakfast location.

While looking for new places to try on a recent trip to Pei, I came across some great reviews for a spot I never heard of. The soup and sandwiches are amazing, so much that I ate here 3 out of 5 days. Even my wife agreed that these were easily the best sandwiches she has ever had. With fresh homemade bread, meat and cheese from the local farmers market and veggies that tasted as if they were just picked that morning it makes for great tasting food.

If my family is seated in your restaurant for 5 minutes after ordering coffee but your kitchen fuse blows not allowing us to order food, and we decide to leave. We totally understand it's dangerous to cook food without power but why am I still paying for coffee I didn't even get a chance to have a sip of? Not very smart service.

The food here is excellent. There are vegan options and daily specials. The sandwiches are amazing, especially the mutigrain bread. The only issue lately has been the hit or miss service. It can often be a struggle to get a table. This Tuesday am we got there and it was just a mass of chaos and confusion by the entryway with people standing around not sure when they’d be seated. They definitely need some sort of seating priority system as they have clearly grown out of this location.

Was disappointed with breakfast here, my husband got 2 eggs over easy that were gooey, the potatoes it came with were unseasoned. My eggs Benedict weren't great either, the hollandaise seemed like it was just pure butter and egg, no lemon, and it came with a salad which was strange for breakfast. Just not what we expected. The coffee and atmosphere was the only thing we enjoyed.

This is a great little bistro. I went for lunch twice during my stay in Charlottetown. Their soups are scratch made and they have a good selection of sandwiches and baking. Prices are fairly reasonable and the vibe inside the café is upbeat. I would definitely go back for their corn chowder, yum.

The staff was great. We had to seat ourselves, so I’m not sure if it was just an oversight, but the food was delicious. The pastry is flaky and buttery and when you add walnuts, beets and cheese to it, can’t get better! The coffee was perfect and the pastries and baked goods were fresh and tasty!

A very nice atmosphere. I've never been disappointed by the food. The southwest turkey ciabatta special is the best sandwich I've ever had. The havarti is a dream. The side salad it comes with has a wonderful variety of colorful and flavorful vegetables, with a tasty mustard dressing. The ham and havarti omelette is so good. Many extremely thin layers of egg, a generous portion of ham, and that dreamy havarti. They have a nice variety of locally made jams that will delight your tastebuds.

5 stars for the decor and atmosphere, perfect spot to come for a brunch date. The coffee and vanilla roll was delicious (i would go out of my way to get the dessert). Foodwise .... nothing special. The halibut was overcooked and its only redeeming quality was the garden salad it came with. I also had the tuna sandwich and soup which was good but nothing amazing. Probably better to stick with your classic brunch options.

Excellent spot! Their vanilla roll was OUTSTANDING!! Don't miss this one!! At 4, Leonhard's stops serving anything except sandwiches and dessert to have time to clean up their kitchen. After 4:30, they only serve desserts. I loved their Salmon Dill Ciabatta and their Garden salad with Honey Mustard dressing ($11.83 for both); yum! Came back a 2nd time for it! My husband enjoyed his Chicken & Goat Cheese sandwich on Whole Wheat bread with avocado spread on it twice! We didn't like the chocolate powder added to the vanilla roll when plating. Update: I went back a second time and ordered the roll without the chocolate powder on top: perfection!!! The Hazelnut dessert bar grew on us a bit despite not initially liking it at all; however, I wouldn't purchase it again. They sell pastries, cheesecakes, cookies, rolls, and bars for dessert.

My wife and her sister and 2 nieces were there at 1:30 and waited for 45 minutes for eggs?? The eggs were cold and her niece had to wait an extra 15 minutes for her order!! My wife could not get an second cup of coffee without paying extra?? They were also told they could not get separate bills?? All they were offered for the delay was one free cup of coffee. The waitress was borderline rude. We will not be back!!

I ordered egg salad sandwich my husband ordered eggs Benedict with a side of toast and asked that the eggs be done runny. We waited 45 minutes for our order to come. The egg salad was tasteless with wilted lettuce, My husband’s toast was burned and his eggs were hard not runny.

My girlfriends introduced me to Leonhard’s, their favourite place to brunch this summer, came back again the other day and it was another great experience! Even on a stormy Sunday there were 3 large groups and a few smaller pairs as well. The soup and salad combo was delicious, yummy whole-wheat rye bread and homemade soup. Ordered the full sandwich and had to take half home for later. I didn’t want to leave it but I was so full! The tea is locally sourced as are most of their products. You can order food and coffee to go if you’d like as well. You can split bills and pay at the counter. Lovely, friendly staff both times - definitely recommend!

Quality food, unique atmosphere. 1 Sept. Wanted to take my wife out for a light lunch and decided again on Leonard's. Ordered the smoked turkey and tomato soup. The sandwich was great the soup was terrible. It was too be a tomato basil with chives on top. Sounded great. Tasted not so great - seemed to have honey added. Mentioned to waitress who was very busy. Asked at checkout how the meal was, so explained the above. She said they had a few complaints but still charged the full amount. The soup was advertised as medium but was not much larger than a cup. But we did not eat it and there was no apology. One bad experience does not set a trend, but there should have been a better response from staff.

Nice place with gluten friendly options. Do recommend to stay vigilant since gluten friendly is an option and it may be forgotten. My wife had her breakfast served with English muffins and had two bites before we noticed, although we had our dish exchanged immediately. Other than that, nice place and friendly staff.
