Our week long September 2018 vacation in PEI was highlighted by an amazing home dinner prepared by Markus. This dining experience definitely ranks in the top 5 of meals I've enjoyed in the past 50 years. Believe me, I'm not exaggerating. This young man is very talented and social. My one regret is that he doesn't live in Ontario. There were only 4 of us, but I'm positive he could provide a similar eating experience whether he's preparing for 1 or 100 guests. Chef Markus is incredible! We had a small wedding with 15 guests at our home and every single person commented on how delicious the food was. Markus worked with us to create a wonderful menu that was in our budget and accommodated any allergies. He arrived on time and got straight to work. When the evening was over the kitchen was left spotless clean and we even had some leftover canapés in the fridge which we enjoyed the next day! He also surprised us with beautiful individualized menu cards for each guest, which was a really thoughtful touch! I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a great meal with a wonderful chef! He was an absolute pleasure to work with and made our wedding dinner so special!

We rented from "Your PEI vacation" for our summer trip to Prince Edward Island in August 2018. We booked the cottage for 4 adults and 4 kids. The vacation rental recommended Markus as a private chef. I immediately jumped on the idea considering while on the vacation we would be celebrating my husband's 44th birthday. Everything worked out perfectly. We were out for the course of the day, bike riding along the beautiful Confederation Trail. While out, Markus let himself in and started prepping our meal. We arrived back to our "home" and were greeted by a set table, lit candles and a warm smile by Markus - meal preparations were well underway and all we had to do was sit back, relax and enjoy! My husband was so thrilled with the surprise. Markus did an excellent job at ensuring every little detail was taken care of from a bottle of freshly corked wine, menu cards detailing the food for the evening as well as coffee prepped in advance for dessert that would soon follow. The lobster and steaks were tender, the salads were incredibly tasty, the portions were significant and tummies were full! A delicious meal all around. Markus also did an excellent job of perfectly timing each course and coordinating the adults and children's meals. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Markus if you are staying on the island and looking for a meal that will cater to your every need without having to lift a finger! Thank you Markus for making our evening so memorable!
