First time trying Greek Street Gyro... won't be our last. I picked a variety of apps and dinners and we mixed it up. The pork souvlaki dinner was a perfect mix of spices. The grilled veggie dinner was excellent. I really enjoyed the feta fries... the sides were all fresh and flavourful. I pay special attention to cleanliness because of COVID19 and the fact that I'm in a medically fragile condition and was gratified to see 2 staffers wash their hands in the few minutes I was in the restaurant to pay. Highly recommend this take-out gem

Taking over from where Malasada World used to be, this place has big shoes to fill and so far so great, food was fresh and delicious, and the vegetables especially had a great seasoning. I’ll definitely be trying more of the menu soon!

Love this place! Have been ordering once even twice a week. Always have the chicken souvalaki. The seasoning is spot on, delicious! Even the one time I mistakenly ordered chicken gyro instead of souvalaki, I was disappointed when I opened the container but after tasting the chicken gyro I wasn’t disappointed at all, it was delicious as well! Great place overall.

Finally a great authentic Greek place. First off they are actually Greek! Second grandma would be proud. Truly enjoyed it excellent portions, friendly service and the food... Omg. Do yourself a favour and try it. Tzatziki was phenomenal. Calamari was on point, and chicken souvlaki bang on, flavour through whole piece of meat. Fresh cut fries and rice, was amazing. So, based on the reviews. I decided to stop here and get the lamb dinner. I personally dont know of anyone has ever had real Greek food before, but never again will I go here. The rice was bland with no flavor, probably the worst rice I've ever had. the taziki sauce was the best part, although it was a bit to liquidity for my liking. The potatoes were also bland. Lamb was over done as well. I've also lived in pape and Danforth area for a while, so I know Greek food. This place is not. Basically threw out $40 in the garbage. Save your money and tastebuds and eat elsewhere.

I'll have to agree with Lisa - just ordered through door dash and the lamb was super dry. I've ordered from this place before and it's a hit or miss. Last time was delicious. I'm giving two stars because the meat was dry , rice and potatoes weren't fresh. They have good tzatzki sauce and really good salad.

Wow! Very happy I ended up getting this. I ordered chicken souvlaki's (dinners) and the Chicago gyro (dinner). The best gyro I've ever had. The lemon potatoes were great. The chicken souvlaki was grilled perfectly, juicy and full of flavour. Real potatoes for French fries and home made tzatziki. The vegetables side (eggplants etc) were very tasty. I can't wait to order from here again.

The flavours are incredible. Greek food is my favourite cuisine so I've had it many places. Nothing compares to the flavours of this place. The salad dressing is perfect. The rice, potatoes, chicken, all of it was amazing. I had some feedback to provide them regarding a dessert we had and they graciously accepted the feedback. If you're craving Greek flavour, you won't be disappointed.

I really like this place and hope it sticks around! I enjoy their salad but understand it may not be everyone’s cup of tea as it’s got that slight salty vinegar flavour to it, I am a big fan of that so please don’t change it :). If you want less intense flavour you can just ask for lighter dressing than usual. I’ve picked up food a couple times before on the weekend and found it to be tasty and not overdone. I enjoyed the lemon rice. Potatoes are good too but I’m more as rice guy so I opt for extra rice. I can’t say it’s the best Greek food ive ever had but it hits the spot for me. I see there are some reviews that don’t have the same experience. Perhaps consistency could be a challenge for them. This place is run by a really nice family.

Ordered the "chicken poutine", not sure why its on the menu. it was just fries with chicken on top. chicken was moist but fries were soft and limp, too much oil no cheese curds, was not even close to a poutine. Only reason I gave it 2 star was because people seem to like the gyro but I have not tried it.

Sorry for the 1 star rating but this has to be the worse gyro I've had in my life . I drove from milton to give this a try. I normally go to danfourth for real Greek authentic gyro but wanted to give street gyro a try . My honest opinion! Very disappointed. First the fries weren't cook properly some were hard like a rock . The tzatziki sauce is all water down no taste. The chicken taste like boiled meat with no flavor at all.

Went out on their opening day in the evening. Despite running out of product, the staff and owners were well aware of what they were still capable of serving the public. They maintained excellent composure despite lack of product and how busy it was at the time. Can't wait to go back and see these guys in action again. Great use of the space that Malasada World has sadly left behind, but I'm really happy to see it being used once again in the same passionate and enthusiastic manner.

Hardly got any fries and they were Raw and very soggy messy burger. Burger patty was some sort of ground beef mixed with other ingredients. So you don't even get 100% beef patty. The other gyros had a burnt flavor though out. If I could give it a 0 I would. Well never order from their again. Small portions as well.

I hate to leave a bad review for a small shop, but I got takeout for a friend and I after reading all the good reviews and we were so disappointed. My friend got the lamb souvlaki and I got the chicken gyro. Both were tasteless and dry. I got fries as one of the sides and they were very undercooked. I hate to waste food ($40 for the 2 meals) so I added more seasonings and popped everything in my air fryer to try to make the food enjoyable! Still on the hunt for good Greek in Cambridge!

This is one of those legendary places you hear thats a hole in the wall, little small maa and paa shop that you always have to order from. Just the best tasting greek food as well as fast , prompt and amazing customer service with very well peiced meals.

Burnt and not edible. I was so excited to check out a new Greek place. I love Greek food and haven't found a local place that's authentic. I gave them two stars because it's closest to authentic Greek food in the region without it being overly salty like some places. The salad dressing was great along with the potatoes and rice. However, the salad was yellow and you could tell isn't fresh, and the chicken and pita were burnt beyond being edible. I'd like to check them out again, but looking at the picture they need to do better with the grill.

Not impressed. I've had larger portions from other restaurants for the same price. The rice was unimpressive. The salads are tiny and a greek salad with white onions? Are red onions that much more expensive? The onion rings were cold and soggy. The potatoes were good as was the roasted veggies with tomato. But overall, that's not what I'm paying for.

Great food. I had high expectations. We got Lamb Souvlaki pita and the Lamb was incredible. Perfectly cooked and excellent quality. As a Pita though, there was a decent portion of meat but they put fries into the wrap as a filler when I would more expect tomato slices and onion to bulk it up. Some reviews state the fries are undercooked but the difference in size of their fries have varied results but none were raw.

Just had our first (but definitely not last) Greek Street experience last night. Unfortunately, with our current situation we were limited to a Skip The Dishes order. We'd have preferred to go in. The food arrived quickly though and was delicious. The chicken gyro was absolutely fantastic. The lamb souvlaki was very good as well. Potato and vegetable sides are recommended. We’ll order again soon (hopefully the calamari is available again) and we’ll be sure to visit as soon as we can. Happy to finally have some great Greek food in Cambridge and happy to support a local establishment. Definitely recommended. See you soon!

Brutal service, when i got there the woman ( not wearing a mask) was giving a delivery driver a hard time. When it came to my order she said she didnt have it, then realized it was sitting behind her on the counter. I asked if i could get some extra taziki and her response was "no, if its in the bag thats it". Kinda rude but whatever. Then when i got home and opened the food the fries were still raw, burger was dry, pita was burnt, and both dinners were wrong. Overall a pretty bad experience.

Unfortunately my food was burnt and was a small portion for what I paid for. I got the chicken souvlaki dinner and it was no where near a dinner. The chicken was hard and burnt inedible. The pita was three torn pieces of naan bread and my salad which is a cup size was yellow and watery. Rice had no flavour and was a weird texture. I love Greek food, but I will not be returning to this business almost 30 dollars in food and it was a disappointment and inedible.

Have eaten here twice now. First time I had the beef and lamb pita, my wife had the chicken breast souvlaki (lemon rice pilaf and roasted veg). Both of which were great. This time I have the chicken breast souvlaki (lemon rice and lemon potatoes). It did not disappoint! If you want authentic Greek food and a welcoming environment while you’re there, then this is a place to try for sure!!! (I also ordered a chicken gyro pita for later, I’m sure it’ll be just as good as everything else)
