EVO is an incredible place, and the owners and staff are simply the best! Perfect for a lunch date or just to have coffee and sweet! But additionally one extraordinary place to host a function!! My husband and I got married here this past March. They were fantastic to work with, their food choices are outstanding, and they even work with some of our own ideas to make our day extra special. If you are planning anything from a wedding, birthday, shower or anything I highly recommend this unique space with their outstanding staff! Really excited for their up and coming dine in menu and bar service!!

Great place to eat and socialize! All the food and drink I've had here has been great, the service is friendly and focused, and there are healthy menu options. My favourite thing about this place though is that it's spacious with high ceilings and ample seating, and stylish design and decor. It's a great modern option in the area.

We ordered the Friday takeout special which was an appetizer box for $45 and a charcuterie box for $20. So much food, there was enough to feed 3 adults with some left over. The food was delicious. Price was great. Will be back!

I have been to EVO kitchen once and I’m embarrassed to admit that. It is so good and so fresh. The atmosphere makes you want to stay and hang out a little longer. It’s a great place for a girl’s night out or a date night with your partner. Also very healthy options for a business lunch for staff or on your own. This certainly isn’t a place for children or adults to be rough housing. They do not have slides or a ball room so it would just be silly to expect that couches are a reasonable alternative.

Loved my return to EVO now that we're in Stage 3 from COVID isolation. Our server was wonderful giving us ample time to read our menus. She let us switch some items around on our choices, like tofu on a grilled chicken wrap and making a virgin sangria. What a brilliant place!! So thankful that we chose this restaurant for our first COVID outing... the patio is lovely, but the FOOD is magnificent! We had the salad wraps, the buffalo chicken wings, the garlic parm wings, and the maple chicken wrap and every bite was better than the last. I’m obsessed and will visit Cambridge in the future just to eat at this restaurant! Thank you for the quick, wonderful and super friendly service! Can’t wait to come back!

Tried this for the first time as it was a suggested healthy meal option on Google maps order the maple chicken wrap and Bombay chicken wrap. The maple chicken wrap was delicious and warm. The Bombay chicken wrap had a bit too much curry flavor in it, which overpowered the taste of the other ingredients in the wrap. They served you a bottle of ice cold water go with our meal. Service was great and quick, will return.

I hosted a 70-person holiday party at EVO. The staff were easy to communicate with, and were so helpful during set up. The appetizers were delicious and felt endless. Both their lower (restaurant) and upper (event room) spaces are gorgeous! Food is fresh and high quality.

Afternoon road trip to historic “downtown Galt” with EVO as our lunch destination. The interior space is a grand sight (pardon the pun) and they are taking COVID precautions seriously. Once seated we ordered our libations from the most excellent server MJ who had a great knowledge of the menu and had some valuable recommendations. I had the last remaining lobster salad with fries and my pal RJ ordered his favourite salmon and bagel combination. My Jackass IPA was a solid choice as was the lobster sanny with some some top notch frites. RJ enjoyed his lightly toasted bagel with capers on the side (he would have preferred them on the bagel) and we even had room for dessert (well not so much room as much as they looked great and MJ sold us on two great choices). The sticky toffee was borderline sublime and the cheesecake was light and melted in your mouth. We enjoyed great service, excellent food in a setting that can’t be beat. A nice wander around the area topped off a great afternoon getaway with will likely be repeated soon (likely with much better half on a weekend).

Building is very attractive and our sandwiches were fine, but I was really frustrated that none of the three giant bathrooms had a change table. I don’t complain when little restaurants with tiny washrooms don’t have one but these washrooms were gigantic and I can see no reason they didn’t bother. Not too nice to have to leave my meal to change my baby in the trunk of the car.

I have good experience at the E.V.O Kitchen. I walked into the restaurant and their retro decor was catching my eyes. They have the menu on a blackboard. People order through a cashier and food is being delivered to our tables. I had Chili Lime Chicken box. Box is including the wrap, cheesecake, fruits and soup. I think the cheesecake was a bit small and the fruit can be fresher. Overall I like the restaurant. Would go back for sure!

My husband and I decided to get married here and we can’t stop talking about how amazing EVO is. Our wedding ceremony and reception (both located at EVO) went off without a hitch and, in fact, were made even more perfect thanks to the staff and owners. The venue is stunning. Taryn, one of the owners, is so fun, kind, and accommodating. The bartenders, wait staff, and kitchen staff were so lovely and professional. The food was INCREDIBLE. The process from the moment we took a tour to the post-wedding cleanup was easy and fun! I would recommend EVO’s food, service, and venue space over and over again. We tried to go here for dinner for the first time, and were extremely put off and disappointed by the [lack of] service. There was no direction of what to do (like no “line up here” sign or “seat yourself” or any indication showing what kind of restaurant it even is) and there were no other customers inside, so we just went to the counter to presumably order. We stood there for 5 long awkward minutes with absolutely no acknowledgement by any of the 3-4 girls behind the counter, and then went to cafe 13 instead —where we were immediately served. I am very disappointed by this first time experience as I was hoping to make EVO kitchen my go to lunch place. It’s unlikely I’ll be returning after this experience.

Unfortunately there was some guy serving tables that was touching and chatting with people he obviously knew but then loudly said that he was not going to be vaccinated or get a passport at all. Fine, fine that it is your choice but if you are working in the service industry and touching people without informed consent you are taking THEIR choice out of their hands. Not gluten friendly. The only option for sandwiches or wraps was rice paper!?! Not a rice flour wrap but actual rice paper, so weird and gross. You can buy gluten free bread and wraps anywhere now and freeze it. My wrap was also 50% alfalfa which didn't matter because I didn't eat it due to the sticky rice paper. Too bad because the place seems to be gourmet/hip/healthy, I went there assuming I wouldn't have an issue. Please, if you are reading this, order some gluten free bread from the gluten free bakery in paris, its excellent and you can freeze it, offer it toasted as all gluten free stuff is way better toasted. For wraps, you can buy gluten free corn tortillas from fresh co, you get 50 for $5 and they also freeze well, they do need to be heated and pan fried or pressed. Also, label the menu, its so easy and really helps out your customers and your staff. I'm no chef or expert but I do live with celiac disease and if you want help making the place more celiac/allergy friendly I would totally come down and give some advice. Would have been 5 stars if I was rating solely based on my daughters chicken wings.

In June of 2018 we had our wedding at EVO Kitchen. I cannot not sing enough praises about them as vendors, the incredible space, or the food that our guests are still talking about months later. They are so wonderful to work with leading up to the day with great communication and flexibility. From the tasting to set up they made sure everything ran seamlessly. The venue won us over with it's delightful bricks walls, wonderful windows and natural light. It allows decor to be so simple since the space is already beautiful. The actual day followed suit with amazing staff and incredible service. Our guest bellies were so full and the food just kept on coming! Taryn and Barry are just the best. If you are thinking about using this venue for a wedding do not think again!

I placed an order for a corporate function and made an error on the order form - EVO Kitchen staff went out of their way to accommodate my mistake and deliver an almost impossible ask. The food was perfect, every detail was accurate, and they did it on an accelerated timeline. The feedback from the team was so positive, and they all loved their meals. I will definitely be ordering from here as often as I can. A side note - the peanut butter stack is my absolute favourite, and I always choose my own order based on which box includes this dessert.

Not only is the food healthy and amazing, but the actual restaurant itself is GORGEOUS. huge space and kid friendly, they have highchairs and booster seats for little ones. I attended a wedding at EVO and the venue was magical, but what really stood out to me were the staff. They were dancing behind the bar having a great time and seemed to really enjoy their jobs. Service needs to be faster. It isn't for lack of servers or them having bad attitudes, but it always takes about 30-45 minutes to get an initial drink and I'm surprised if I see a server anymore times before I need to go. Its so slos id rather goto 13 or the Badger down the street.

Decided to treat myself and grab a wrap from here, as they usually are spot on with their food. The wrap was mainly just spinach and it did not taste as good as usual. My spinach salad, was just that, spinach. Barely any other substance to it. It's not cheap by any means, and it sucks when the food that you pay for turns out not how you imagined it would. I don't think I'll be going back here.

Their boxed lunches are an excellent choice to serve at a corporate/business event. I ordered 150 boxed lunches for a conference and EVO delivered them all the way to Milton. When I arrived they were already unpacked and categorized, ready for the guests to be served. The conference attendees raved about the quality and portions given. I highly suggest them as they're extremely easy to communicate with and the quality is great (also the portobello sandwich is unbelievable). I need to check out their storefront!

I ordered the maple bacon chicken wrap as a lunch box. The wrap was very good; fresh ingredients and well seasoned. The side savoury quinoa was horrible; it was too wet and soggy. The flavours were alright but frankly I can make better. The side fruit salad was a nice variety of green melon, strawberry, pineapple and grapes however was cut very poorly; the prep staff cut very close to the rind on the melon so I ended up chewing on very hard, inedible pieces. The peanut butter stack was very good though. I have to say, the restaurant is Beautiful, with great ambiance and decent food but Not worth the $17 for lunch.

Like the ad says, this bistro is chic. It's set in old Cambridge with historic textile mills and the Grand River in the background and easy parking. I had the chilli lime chicken wrap, and a cranberry quinoa salad with small chunks of sweet potato in it. The wrap was one of the best I’ve had with a creamy lime sauce and what I think was a touch of yogurt. The tortilla was crisp from the grill and the chicken tender. The salad was sweet with cinnamon and came in a big bowl that looked scary but tasted delicious. The place was busy and the lineup long, but the service was quick and the staff were attentive. I enjoyed my lunch and I'm looking forward to returning when visiting family in Cambridge.

Food was good, and decent portion sizes. My husband and I got the box option, and feel it was worth the price. Yes, slightly pricier than other places, but not unreasonable. Staff are very friendly and heloful, and service was prompt. Atmosphere is cozy, though is a bit chilly. If you're going on a colder day, I'd recommend a sweater. I also didn't get hot water in the washroom, but my husband said he did so maybe my experience was a fluke.

E.V.O. Kitchen is a great place to bring family or friends. The menu is very modern with many artisan dishes and sandwiches. The sandwiches are half the size of what you would expect, so I would recommend also ordering soup, a salad, or some other side dish. The interior of the restaurant is excellently decorated and well lit with a very chic vibe. The staff are extremely pleasant and diligent.

We ordered 6 gourmet lunch boxes for a safely distanced birthday celebration and it worked beautifully. Each lunch box was labelled for the diner and elegantly presented. Beef tenderloin wrap; maple chicken; lobster salad; gourmet ham and cheese; Italian ciabatta and roast beef were all delicious, complete with salads, fruit, dessert and sparkling water. The pickup service was efficient, friendly and helpful. Recommend this highly, good value.

Hello, I am a former employee. I am a certified chef de cuisine and personal chef. I knew they weren’t perfect. Nor was I informed of so many health infractions. The owners are arrogant and A-Type personality. Not looking for change nor willing to pay staff. I was leaning the line fridge after I started and their was mold on the corners. Owners don’t believe me. Yet they want you to be early and I waited most mornings for them to show up. Their cooks wear heeled shoes, which legally are non-slip? One of their owners wears sandals when her feet hurt. This is not what people think it is! They are arrogant owners who care for themselves. I showed off working towards the raise I was hoping for, they could care less. Highschool students will do their work. I paid to be a chef. Went through proper training and learned. Did very well In school! I wanted to help! It was not encouraged, nor helped. They don’t care for properly trained staff. And take it for-granted! They are not worth it!

This place serves mostly sandwiches, wraps and soups. They are good but for me this is not everything. I found the ambiance a little too uncomfortable, meaning it was a little cold and the chairs and benches are not great. I went in for lunch, there was no wait line and service was fast. I also did not find any value in the extended "box" lunch which adds a few things to your sandwich or wrap. They currently do not serve any alcoholic drinks but I understand it's coming.

Typically I am not a fan of wraps and salads.. but EVO has convinced me to return over and over again despite that! Our favourites are the beef tenderloin but with the NY roast beef ingredients. We also love the kale salad and cranberry quinoa on the side. A little on the pricey side but in terms of food quality, atmosphere and service - you definitely get your money's worth.

We had 26 people in our party and the amazing staff at EVO pulled it all off like a walk in the park. Friendly and curtious staff...fantastic food and a very inviting and relaxed atmosphere. Very friendly and welcoming staff, the floor layout wide open with plenty of chairs, benches, and sofa chairs. Nice selection of sandwiches/wraps, salads, and beverages. In the future we hear they should be ready to serve alcohol and tapas.

The portion of the wrap is actually small in terms of content to wrap ratio. Every bite felt like chewing a lot of flour wrap. The chicken was a bit on the tough side so my jaw was tired after a few bites :s. I am a small eater and a $10 wrap barely made me feel full. The salad was not bad. The ambience is nice and the patio was also pretty nice. I thought it was slightly odd that for a restaurant that has a nice interior and patio, the menu only has wraps, sandwiches and salads. Overall, I may come back to grab salad for lunch if I'm in the area but probably not the wraps as it was not worth the price compared to other places.

This is a great place to check out for dinner. They have a variety of wine and local beer on tap and an extensive food menu. Staff are really friendly, and professional. Our dinner was fantastic - zero complaints!

This is quite a great place. It was very enjoyable to walk in and see what they've done with an old building. Looks really funky yet classy and Industrial. They were doing a bridal shoot in the upstairs today. You can rent that for weddings or parties or anything you like. I found the main level inviting, cozy with couches and the huge live edge table tops were pretty cool. It's really well done. The food was great and the coffee was super. Not a huge menu but what they do, they do well. I take people there whenever I can. I love to share this place. The owner, Barry, is a super nice guy as well.

I truly enjoyed the events they host on the top floor and I loved the environment there. The food is amazing but choose wisely. It may be hit or miss if the meal isn't what you really want.

Fantstic tasting food. Best wings I’ve ever had. That being said, I feel like last time I ordered there was way more meat on sandwiches/ in wraps. I had a Lime chicken wrap that had a very small amount of chicken in it, and the side salad seemed considerably smaller than what I’ve received in the past. I hope this was just a bad day and not the new normal.

New Years Eve Appetizer Sampler platter and charcuterie platter was just the right combination of fingers foods for a family night in. Especially loved the bacon wrapped dates with balsamic dressing and crispy pork belly.

90s themed Bingo night was by far one of the best nights you can have on a weeknight! The atmosphere is so much fun, the food and drinks were amazing, the spontaneous dance party was absolutely everything. Your Thursday nights need to be at E.V.O.!!!!

My toddler and I were visiting Cambridge today and could not get into this restaurant at all. It is NOT accessible for a wheelchair or stroller and the entrance that would be accessible was padlocked with a table blocking the second entrance to the patio (Isn’t that against fire safety rules??) I stood outside and tried calling several times to ask for assistance and no one answered the phone. The establishment was not busy at all during the time I was trying to get in and feed my little one. I do not recommend this place at all and will not be returning on our visits to Cambridge.

Didn’t find it to be worth the price, food was mehhh, I felt I could have made a tastier wrap or sandwich at home. My friend’s quinoa salad (side salad) was very soggy and looked unappetizing, she did not eat it. I appreciate the healthier options, but feel they could be much better tasting. Overall value could be improved as well as using in-house filtered water to offset the local water taste, which is pretty bad to many people who aren’t from around here. I gave it 3 stars only because I did eat from EVO once when they catered an event I attended and the food tasted much better than the food we had at the restaurant. Otherwise I would have given 2 stars.
