When I need my Portuguese cuisine fix, this is where I go! Bifanas with fried onion and hot peppers are delish! Fish fillets with rice; rotisserie style chicken with parisienne potatoes!! Fresh deli, cheese, buns, and custard tarts...you really can't go wrong. And the prices are reasonable.

I hate this place because I have to walk by it when they're closed, and they're baking up a storm, wafting their delicious fumes all over Elgin Street. And it's usually in the evening, before I've had dinner. I almost died of hunger every time. But seriously, the buns, bread and treats are amazing when you get your hands on them.

Today I was not impressed with the dirty dish rag on the cutting board where they make the sandwiches, the girl didn't move it to cut my egg for my salad and it touched it, then she placed it on top of the paper to wrap sandwiches, it was dirty! Something I didn't need to see because I like this place

99% of the time overly satisfied, but they have changed their days for bifana sandwiches to Wed to Sun, and have some crazy thin pork meat for sandwich now, and the new young girls are so skimpy with the meat (unlike the motherly matron when she makes a sandwich, YOU GET A MEATY SANDWICH) that I was so disappointed.

Azores has always been one of my favorite deli shops/bakery in the Cambridge area. They provide reasonable pricing for their products and a good quantity of ingredients for their hot food or deli sandwiches. They always say hello we a smile even if they are busy with customers. All employees have a positive attitude with a hint of sass. They make great bread and no complaints from me.

I haven't been here in sometime but everytime I have been here I've always left satisfied with my order aswell as the customer service, I really dont need to add a review as the place speaks for itself. If you live in the Cambridge area you're probably already aware how Azores has been a stable for many people for the past dozen years.

A nice flavor-rich tasty spot. Beer roasted chicken is a must -try. Exceptionally good custard tarts and some cakes and pastries. Bifana sandwich is delicious. All the breads are freshly baked and tastes soo good. Prices are so reasonable and the the quantity served is large.

Having recently moved to the area, I was thrilled to find a Portuguese bakery - they offer decent selection thats taste mediocre. I stumbled upon them when looking for a job on Indeed and their reviews are a nightmare. All 9 people gave one star, majority of them explaining how they drop food on the floor, and still package it for sale. That is disgusting that a business would rather let their customers eat food off of the floor rather than losing maybe a dollar in profit, will not be returning...

Absolutely incredible! It's a lot larger than you expect looking from outside, and they have grocery, fresh bakery, hot foods, I think frozen and then the non perishables. Their Bifta sandwich is very good, but for me their potatoes stole the show. We have a couple bags full at home to go through but so far I am very impressed with their quality.

Any childhood memories of baked goods and fresh Deli can be rekindled with one visit . Staff are Awesome food is acceptional! Ask for the crembrulie (custard tarts ) in the bakery! These must be purchased in pairs. One in never enough. Big Love to the Azores!

Azores is a small business that either doesn't care to know labour laws or simply chooses not to follow them (probably the latter). Take a look at their employee reviews on Indeed or actually talk to staff when management isn't around. It's really quite appalling. This is not a business that I would support, regardless of how good the food is. Try Silva's Bakery instead and support a business that actually cares about their employees and the health of their customers

Absolutely one of the best deli sandwiches in the KW area. So much choice for meat and cheese and bread, always sliced fresh. Great to take and head for a picnic or walk or round of disc golf at Soper Park, or go kayak at Shade Mills. Live more than an hour away and still make excuses to come to to Cambridge just to get a sub ????????

Fresh Portuguese rolls, crispy on the outside, soft and airy on the inside, and loaves of fresh sliced bread that are much cheaper than you'll find in any grocery store. Reasonable prices for sliced deli meats and cheeses. The bifana sandwich from their hot table is DELICIOUS. Highly recommended!

These people should learn to cook food properly, bit into a pork peice and to my surprise my tooth broke, it was like I bit into a brick wayyy over fried that's the second tooth I've lost on these pork brick peices. I'm no longer a customer here, I'd rather have my teeth.

I love Azores! The chicken dinner with rice, potatos, and hot sauce is my favourite. The ladies working here are fantastic. They remind me of the Portguese neighbours I grew up with. Full of energy, always moving, working hard, and getting things done - fast! The tarts are amazing! I can eat a million of those. Their food and culture is wonderful.

This place is fantastic! The food is some of the best ot the taste of Portugal that we have ever had. We have vacationed in Portugal and the Azores a number of times and this place helps to us to remember the food from those trips. One of our fondest memories. If you go, make sure you have one of their sandwiches on sweet bread - truly decadent! One of the best that we have ever had. Make sure you have the rice pudding or creme caramel as well. The staff are great. Very friendly and helpful. Have also been impressed on how safe they have been during covid in keeping themselves and customers safe.

I went in today and I'm shocked at how well as a business you are handling this, other businesses everywhere need to follow suit. Brand new handwash station, each time I touch the door it was wet with cleaner, they rearrange the store so theres an entrance and an exit AND not only is all staff wearing masks but they're requiring customers to wear masks as well! Soooo proud to be able to support this small local business that clearly prides themselves on their incredible products and amazing customer service and they're clearly looking out for the best interest of their Employees as well as their Patrons.

Not impressed. A small business has every right to make people wear masks in their establishment, just as every customer has the right to shop elsewhere if they do not like it. BUT if a business chooses to force customers to wear masks inside their business they also have a responsibility to post that requirement so customers are informed ahead of time. This gives the customer the choice of whether or not they want to shop there. Instead of telling me about this requirement when I placed my order, over the phone, and giving me a choice to either bring my own mask, or not proceed with my order …. they said nothing. Then when I arrived to pick up my order they charged me for a mask that was hand packed by an Azores employee, in an Azores food bag with a price sticker on it and made me were it to pick up my order. Gross! If I had been informed I would have exercised my right not to shop there.

Customer service is wondering when talking with staff. However i worked at this location for 2 years and have witnessed North American banned additives they put in the dough to help it rise. This substaince is harmful to your body and can cause cancer.
