You have been catering our party for the last 3 years and attendance is growing each year partly because of the wonderful food an the great service you provide. Our staff is always excited to see what will be on the menu each year and you never disappointed. From the bartender to the servers, to the amazing appetizers, Simply Gourmet always make our Christmas party SIMPLY FABULOUS!

I hired Simply Gourmet to cater several events around my daughter's wedding.I was a little nervous as I had not worked with them before. Aelie and her team (headed by Paige) did an incredible job. On the night before the wedding they catered a cocktail party in our home for 80 guests followed by a beautiful sit down dinner for family after the guests left. Paige arrived early the next morning to prepare a fabulous breakfast for the Bridal Party before they launched into all the preparation for the wedding. Before Paige left she set out trays of fabulous lunch snacks for everyone to grab as the day moved on. Everyone really appreciated the healthy food and there wasn't one "Hangry" Bride or Bridesmaid in the bunch. I wouldn't change a thing that we planned over these events and I would certainly use Simply Gourmet in the future. Thank you Aelie, Paige and the rest of your team.

Aelie made dinner for four in my home for my husband's 75th birthday. The four-course meal was excellent and skillfully paired with wines. We had several specific conversations prior to the date regarding menu items as well as likes and dislikes in wine; Aelie was open to any suggestions. She was professional, organized and comfortable in the setting. We enjoyed chatting with her about the food and wine - she knew exactly when to participate and when to be unobtrusive. I am happy to recommend Aelie and hope to avail myself of her services again soon.

Adventures In Tandem

We used Simply Gourmet to cook four nights for a group of 22 of us. They were great to work with and the dinners were delicious. The chefs (Paige and Alyssa) were professional, easy to work with and left the kitchen spotless. The meal was original and made on the spot. They even shared the recipe for one of the desserts! We would definitely use Simply Gourmet again.

As a family of health care providers, we were pleased to see that they were compliant with all Public Health Orders surrounding COVID-19. We were given wonderful menu choices from which to select our meal and Aelie was able to accommodate gluten free options for our family member with celiac disease. Her communication was prompt and clear. The food was delivered on time and in more than adequate serving sizes. Additionally, the quality of the food was out of this world and the pricing was fair and competitive. I highly recommend Simply Gourmet and will use them in the future.

I love the convenience of having a healthy meal to serve my family when we are on the run, or even when we have time to settle in for a true family dinner. From the first contact, Aelie was professional, accommodating & personable. I hosted a small gathering of close friends and there were allergies I had to be cognizant of when planning the event. We hired Simply Gourmet to provide food for my 60 birthday party. They had 3 different food allergies and two food restrictions to work with. They did a wonderful job of making delicious food while avoiding all problem foods. The food was delivered on time and exceptionally fresh. The reheating and other specific information was clear and easy to follow. The guests were all very pleased with the variety and quality of the food. The pear flat bread and salad rolls were two of our favourite appetizers. The quantity of food was also perfect for the number of guests. I would recommend this caterer to others.

Hands down, 5 out of 5!! I have never retained these types of services before and was a little unsure on how to gauge the good from the bad. I am happy to see all the positive reviews on this company were well deserved and then some!! I had a small dinner gathering and requested a traditional turkey dinner. All communications were prompt, the menu was fantastic, and service was provided as promised. All proper social distancing measures were followed when food was dropped off, and each item had preparation instructions clearly marked in a way that someone like me had no problems following them! My guests were all extremely complimentary of the food, and I will definitely be using them again. P.S - if you have an option to add bacon wrapped carrots to your meal, do so without hesitation! Big thanks to Aelie and Paige for making my holidays just that much better! Highly recommended company (and local too!)

We have had Aelie and her assistant chefs cook three dinners for us - everything from the menu planning to the cooking to the cleanup has been wonderful. I really appreciate the time Aelie has taken to plan our special dinners taking into account all the various food issues and allergies some of the guests have had. It made for lovely dinners, with no concern on my part as the host. It is so relaxing to have her come into the kitchen and make herself at home, and I don't have to worry about any of the dinner preparations - she has is all under control. It is a lovely way to entertain.

We hosted two engagement parties at our house over the past two years. We went back to Simply Gourmet after the first year because it was such a success! Aelie, Paige and their team are super talented and incredibly helpful. Their menus are creative and delicious; we got so much positive feedback from our guests. Highly recommend Chef Aelie and her assistant Paige with Simply Gourmet! I have had the pleasure of meeting Aelie 5 years ago. Been organizing dinner parties in my house since then every year. AND she just gets better and better! Aelie is very talented and compassionate about her work. I've seen first hand how she is devoted to ensuring quality fresh ingredients and preparation of the meals she makes. Extremely creative and focused.. Aelie and Paige are fun, interactive, but also laid back to ensure you are your guests are enjoying themselves to the fullest potential. Aelie does wine pairings with each course (optional) but highly suggested. She works with a small wine dealer who finds and matches to her creative menu for you. Wines usually are unheard of from smaller family or smaller vineyards. Lastly, Aelie has become someone I would consider to be a good friend. Trusting her in my home and around my friends, aquaintances, and family is easy. Highly recommend Simply Gourmet..

I can’t say how much I enjoyed having your team in my home! It’s the first time I’ve had caterers in my home and I didn’t know what to expect. Your team was truly professional and were there in the back ground making a delicious dinner, cleaning up and helping guests with requests for another glass, plate whatever they required. It was such a joy at the end of the night to look at a clean kitchen! The food was simply delicious from the start - the shrimp appetizers were very tasty and the rest of the meal continued to deliver freshness, delicious tastes and the hominess of the meal that I wanted to have. I hired Simply Gourmet to cater our 35th Anniversary party.The party was so wonderful! Our guests & the family enjoyed the appetizers that were served, a combination of hot and cold choices. The favourites were jerk chicken & peach skewers, butter chicken balls, cucumber cups with watermelon, garlic chipotle shrimp!! Their comments were very positive! Having them served to the guests was a great feature as they could enjoy the food and not have to leave their conversations. The deserts were also great!! Loved the macaroons--- best we have ever had! The chocolate with sea salt brownies and butter tarts were delicious !!! For myself, it was very nice to enjoy the party and not just be in the kitchen prepping and preparing food, thus missing out on the people who came. This was the very first time I had an event catered ... and it was fabulous! I was very happy with the services provided by Simply Gourmet!! Venita G

I am absolutely over the moon for simply gourmet. The food is fantastic every time. We are a busy family of 5 and it’s hard to make good healthy food without sacrificing hours every evening. We now have quick ready made meals and all we do is heat them up and then spend good quality family time together. I have tried other dinner services before and I found it was expensive and there was not enough food for my husband and three teens. The communication is amazing and they work with us on everything from cost to what meals we are interested in. My daughter is a severe celiac and they make all of our meals GF. The meals are never the same unless we want to have something twice because it’s so delicious. They even deliver to us in Okotoks. I cannot say enough so I will leave it at you should absolutely try simply gourmet, you won’t regret it!!!

My kids have been asking for seconds (my 9yr old was trying to claim a whole pan of cranberry meatloaf for himself!) and my husband and I are so impressed with serving size - we even get leftovers for our lunches! Having Aelie and her team's meal delivery service is a life-saver for our family. Two full time jobs and 4 kids, the ability to home from work and pop a delicious and healthy meal into the oven means we get to spend quality time with our kids and not scramble to make a dinner.
