I work in a small office and we decided that learning how to make paella and sangria would be a really fun thing to do and different from some of the other team building activities that are out there. When we arrived Spanish music was playing, and Javier our host for the evening offered a warm welcome to the group. Not only was he accommodating of our vegetarian food requests he was a genuinely awesome host for the evening. We started out step-by-step making one of the best sangrias I've ever had and then went on to make the two different paellas. He kept us engaged, sharing with us the details of how and why paella is made certain ways. It ended up being a great culinary evening and a great evening in general. I would highly recommend this to people looking for a different kind of fun night out that is also cost effective. I'd do it again in a heartbeat. Nothing beats having a little bit of Spain in our lives:)

Excellent experience as Javier and Shay were first class. We really felt at home, making both sangria and paella. The class was more than advertised. Everything was laid out, ready to be made, and the overall feel of the night was so comfortable. Two variations or paella were made and instructions were easily explained, and we carried out the cooking process. After we got to eat both of the seafood, and chicken paellas, and enjoy a glass of sangria. This place is a must-see!

Food was beautiful and DELICIOUS! all my party guests were impressed. Not only that, customer service was also top notch. We needed a special delivery to a picnic shelter at a park, and the Paella Guys team coordinated the delivery with ease. Not only that, they also offered to pick up the pans at my house after the event. Definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for food that can take your event to the next level.

Incredible meal at a private gathering. The paella was exciting, nourishing, and entertaining all at once. I thought it was better than most of the paella I’d had in Spain. My only advice is to wear stretchy pants as you’ll sure need it after having seconds.

If you are looking for a unique way to celebrate, order a paella from these guys. The paella came in a huge pan and looked absolutely beautiful, and tasted even better. Simple to heat up and the perfect amount of food. I would 100% order again.

Ordered take out for my mother's birthday and she absolutely loved it. We also got the tortilla de patatas and an order of the tartas de Santiago. Simply delicious. One thing to note is the size of the paella pan, we got an order for 6 people and it has the diameter of about 22" too big to fit in our over, but we managed to warm it up using our bbq for about 5 mins. Would definitely get again.

These guys make some really amazing paella! My partner and I went to their Sunday event at Como Taperia and were blown away by the quality of their paella and their friendly service. Paella Guys never disappoints. We had postponed our paella party for many months due to COVID, and when we finally had the chance to gather and be fed by Javier, we were delighted. I honestly thought I didn’t like paella my entire life. I saw an ad on Instagram from the Paella Guys offering a cooking class and thought it would be a nice thing to do since my boyfriend likes paella so much. Turns out, I love paella and everyone up until now has just been doing it wrong. The food was fantastic and it was fun. We were a group of 9. Everyone in the group was super friendly, we made sangria together and drank together. I would definitely recommend.

I had the chance to taste the vegetarian paella prepared by the paella guys and Javier. It was amazing. The paella was so delicious that in 30 min the whole plate (paella for 6 people) was gone. The guests were so happy to be able to eat an authentic Spanish paella. I'm planning 2 other events in the next 2 months where I will have the paella guys coming and making their amazing paella. If you haven't tried it yet, just go for it. You will love it.

We ordered their Paella Mixta package for New Years Eve and absolutely loved it. The package contained: - Iberico Cold cuts - Olives - Almonds - Tortilla de Patatas - Paella Mixta with chicken and seafood - Almond tarts Everything was fresh, delicious and beautifully packaged. Lots of food for 2 people, we saved some of the tortilla for brunch the next day - so good! Pick up was easy and convenient at their downtown partner La Taqueria.

Ordered an 8 portion Paella for pick up and it was divine. It was served in a Paella pan which I was able to take home (to be returned) and it was prepared to take into account the travel time home. The Paella was made with love and passion and you can sense it in its flavour.

Even though we booked the Paella Guys at a late date, the entire staff was so friendly and efficient in making sure our event went smoothly. The food preparation at our house was a focal point during our party and everyone raved about the food -- the paella was superb, with the complex tastes baked deep into the dish, and the sangria went down well too! On-time friendly service and great food are a winning combination, and we'd recommend them to anyone!

Paella Guys catered our first annual Church Fiesta for over 300 people back in November and the meal was a huge hit. It was the first time many of our members had even tasted Paella, let alone an authentic version. Despite being November in Vancouver, Javier and Shae cooked two different kinds of Paella outside! We all enjoyed the feast for eyes and stomachs!! I think Paella has become my new comfort food!! Thank you Lina, Javier and Shae for bringing a wonderful taste of Spain to Vancouver!!

We went to Paella Guys' Dine Out dinner and it was absolutely amazing. We were greeted by warm and welcoming hosts, live music and a beautiful, charming venue. The food itself was incredible. So delicious!!! I could have had 10 plates of that seafood and meat paella!!! It was honestly the most wonderful night and I can't wait for the Paella Guys' next event!!!

The taste was good but the amount served per plate is very little for the value that is being paid. we ordered for 16 people and only 10 dishes could be served means that the value of each dish is $ 40, too expensive, we feel ripped off

BEST EXPERIENCE! BEST FOOD! We had The Paella Guys cater a dinner at our home. Every step of the way the experience was flawless. From the initial stages in coordinating and planning the menu and logistics they were a dream. Our chef for the dinner was prepared and on time , SO FUN with our guests and made us an incredible paella. Everyone left full and we still had leftovers! I could not recommend the Paella Guys more! We will definitely book them again! Such a great experience.

My husband and I took the Paella making class with chef Blanc, and had the best of times. This is not just a Paella class, its a whole Spanish immersion experience. With Spanish music playing in the background, we ate delicious appetizers and drank sangria while we learned to make two kinds of paellas, seafood and Valenciana, which were the most delicious we ever tasted. It was a great evening of amazing food, great ambiance and lots of fun. Definitely a different and exciting experience, which I highly recommend.
