REVIEWS OF Foodies On Board IN Burnaby

Blaine McDonald

Great casual space with some gluten free options and many choices for glutinators. Cafe/deli style place with great food

Ryan Carter

The staff were good, we had the promo eggs Benedict, $5 for 2, it was good for the price, but mediocre for the quality the establishment is trying to project. I do like how there is no garbage, only recycling and compost, but the atmosphere was kind of dark and inhospitable, if I ever return it will be for take out only. Love their baked goods.

Martin Robson

No opinion

Ian Sheffield

A breath of fresh air in a neighborhood of sub-par options. It may be more expensive than average, but using ingredients like prosciutto and truffles is a step above. Keep up the good work.

Franco Federico

Food is great. Great quality. It's a new business so took a little long for food but can't complain. Staff was friendly and they have a great selection of Italian pasta for sale. Gluten free option for a lot of their menu. I'll be coming back. Nothing like this in the neighbourhood

Dennis Wakelin

AJ Rodas

Rip off. Portions are way too small for the prices they charge. They gave me a BLT sandwich that had mold growing on the bread.

Michael Walker

Good food. Short wait time even at lunch.

Deborah Brezden

Had to kill some time before an appointment in the area, so went in for a quick breakfast... the food (an omelette, toast & hash brown potatoes) was quite tasty, well presented, and had very nice large serving portions! Definitely, if I am in the area again I will drop in for another breakfast!

Dan Smith

Decided to give this place a shot after rave reviews from a coworker. Terrible hygiene, a staff seemingly in disarray over a lunch rush and incredibly greasy food make it unlikely I'll return. While waiting 25 min for the order I placed on the phone ahead of time, I watched the staff. Two front of house did not once put on gloves or wash their hands after handling cash and one even touched their face. No tongs were used to serve pastries. Food was good but pretty rich, partly because my hash browns were hastily strained after frying and dumped right into the tray. I will certainly not go back for food from the front of house and will be reluctant to get their catering after this strange experience.

Ron Eggler

Had the mexican wrap for lunch. Tasted pretty good, will try domething else next time. They have quite a choice! ????

Miss.imagnation :)

Poorly made. Had the teriyaki bowl and my friend had the beef and mash potatoes , TELL ME WHY was the food burnt. Nothing tasted fresh or delicious. I was never disappointed as vegetables also tasted like charcoal. I don’t understand why something would be that expensive. It just had no flavours, mash potatoes still had the skin on it and they didn’t bother to flavour anything. The service was poor, no one was in there. No idea why they have 4 star rating. They don’t even deserve 1. We left our plates and walked out. ???????????????????????????????????????????? Am sorry I wouldn’t eat here again.

zoltan gal

I ordered the chef's omelette. The bottom part was burned, so egg became over cooked, able to taste burned egg, hard to chew/not soft textured like it should be, insufficient amount of salt. Hashbrown potatoes were ok. Does not come with toast. I paid about 13 dollars. I work right beside this place. Very disappointed, that they can't make an omelette, I would have been a repeat customer for sure.

Adar Bronstein

Good food for good prices and the staff is nice. Wish they had healthy meal options as well

Valeria Stephens (Panda)

Nice range of food with local ingredients, but my soup was bland and starchy.

Great coffee, lovely staff. So happy this nice place opened in this neighborhood!

Danielle Wingfield

The food was pretty good but I had originally asked for a quesadilla and was not given a quesadilla I was given a bowl still good but when I said that that's not what I ordered the gentleman just kind of shrugged it off like well that's what you're getting will go back and definitely try the Mexican style pulled pork tortilla

Michael Philpot

Yummy!

Mike Simcoe

Got a breakfast hashbowl delivered via skip the dishes. Very nasty stuff here. Sausage tasted really odd, the poached egg wasn't cooked at all so it's goo was leaking into all the other food and on top of that the entire meal was sitting in a pool of grease I'm guessing form the sausage and cheese. Would never order form this place again. Disgusting.

Slow service, average food. Used to be a lightning fast greasy spoon here. Aw well

B Mohr

Their chef is a gold medal winner that worked at Joe Fortes and all the ingredients are organic. Let's be honest, we don't deserve how good this place is ;)

Gary Cheung

mixed vegetable curry Flavour is there, but the problem was there were too many bay leaves, and lemon grass as garnish, made it very difficult to eat as I have to pick up the fibrous lemon grass stalks and bay leaves. It's tastey enough, but it was very difficult and annoying to navigate through these garnishes. Next time, get rid of these inedible before serving.

Brayden Wiebe

Awesome variety and quality. Nice staff as well!

Nonya Bizzness

Not bad. It's got a wanna-be rustic-ness about it. Servers were attentive and lovely. I had egg benny--- it was a'rite. Daughter had an Indian dish w/ rice. Also okay .. healthy portion, enough for lunch following day. Hubby had a baked loaf. Came to about $32.00. May return...altho it quickly got super hot in there. Maybe turn down thermostat a bit?

Colin Fraser

I disagree with people's problem with this place. Everyone says it's overpriced. And while $15 for a lunch item is a bit much. I had the fried chicken and waffles, and I thought it was delicious, a really good take on it using tandoori chicken, a mango topping that really jived well. The problem was portion size; it's a decent amount of chicken but with no side like Hashbrowns or something I just felt hungry after finishing which is pretty disappointing when you spend $15. They did just open so hopefully they can address this! I'd like to have it again, I just don't want to feel like I need to stop at a 2nd restaurant after

We wanted a catered breakfast service for a work function so we found foodies right down the road. We ended up having a lunch and a breakfast catered. They were both really good but we received numerous compliments about the sandwiches at lunch. I decided to go on my own for lunch. I had the creamy pesto pasta with market vegetables. The portion was large. Flavour was on point and the place has a cool vibe to it.

I ordered a takeout, the pasta from the Express lunch menu for 8.99 + tax. It took very long to get my order, understandably since it was the lunch hour, but once it did come, it was tasteless. I could have open a can of ready made pasta and it would have tasted the same and mind you be so much cheaper than what I paid. There were barely any vegetables in the pasta. Just noodles and unseasoned tomato sauce. I chose to get fries on the side and this too had no salt in them. My only reprieve was to eat the noodles with sriracha. Will not go back.

Chris Schlichter

A huge improvement over the last owners. Lots of options if your on the go. Eggs are perfect, I'm very happy to have a great breakfast place so close to work now.

liam barwich

Tasty, but food took a while, came out cold, and was a disappointing portion size.

Great selection! My favorite part is daily special from Chef :)

Brian Bonney

Awesome food...

Lindsey Ross

Super surprised by all the negative reviews. Maybe they just took some time to get rheir footing, because I stopped in today for the first time and really enjoyed it. I had a ham breakfast sandwhich in the morning and drip coffee. Reasonably prices and as expected. Actually pretty good coffee for drip! They do espresso etc as well. Went back for lunch and did the chicken caesar wrap + added a side beet salad. Great flavour on the salad. The caesar wasnt too strong, which is nice because I often find these overdressed. My co-worker had the fish and chips. Nice breading to fish ratio, she was really pleased as well. Will be going back to try some of the weekly specials.

Simon Free

Amazing Avo Toast! What a gem of a place!

Great food but on the expensive side

So excited to have a good breakfast/lunch spot in the neighborhood! We stopped in for lunch the other day and had a delicious, reasonably priced, healthy and satisfying meal. It was fun to create a custom breakfast using their poached egg menu, and the end result was very tasty. I had a poached egg with bacon, arugula and hollandaise on an english muffin; my partner had his egg with smoked salmon, lemon-caper cream cheese, hollandaise and the yummy house made multi-colour potato fries. The portions were just right, and the ingredients were fresh. Coffee was great, as was the lavender London Fog I had. The service was quick and very attentive, and we were also treated to complimentary Callebaut chocolate lava cakes. There are lots of vegetarian options available on the menu, always a key factor for us.They have a tempting array of interesting to-go sandwiches, yoghurt parfaits, house-made potato chips, and baked goodies - I can see stopping by to pick up a picnic on our way up to Burnaby Mountain Park to watch the sunset. They are conveniently open at 7 AM, so I can also see stopping by for a quick and satisfying breakfast on the way to class or work. I appreciate the environmental consciousness evident in the choice of local ingredients, compostable containers and utensils, food scrap composting and recycling. The atmosphere is simple but comfortable, kid-friendly and clean. We'll be making this a regular stop!

Earl Flormata

Interesting combinations of food. Kind of an Indian / Asian / Canadian Fusion.

I am reviewing as an end user on a film set. Reviewing the assorted bowls offered, I can tell you they're fantastic. The keto bowl is my favorite one by far, but I've enjoyed all of the food options that we've had. I'll miss these guys and gals when I move on to my next show. If you're a crafty on set, the various bowls are great and come individually wrapped with cutlery included.

Today I went to Foodies on Board by Production Way Skytrain. I ordered the Keto bowl... Two Sous Vide Poached Eggs, Zoodle, Garden Greens, Crispy Chickpeas, Garlic Olive Oil Confit Tomato, Roasted Vegetables, Apple Cider Emulsion. All for $10.95. It was busy and hustling. I do not have photos, but the food was 5 star. Just delicious and fresh. My wife had the orange chicken. Best I have tried - light and citrusy (and not gloopy and sugary - like a lot that I have tried.) There are some reviews online that are not so generous which date from a while back. All I can say is I never expected anything this good in the 'hood. Heartily recommend. I will be going back at every opportunity, it is that good.

Matt

Ordered a couple times through Skip now, tried the hash bowl the first time and now this time the chicken and waffles. Super impressed with the quality of the food. Compliments to the chef! Been absolutely delicious both times. Portion sizes are great. Prices are quite reasonable as well. I can't speak to the quality of service inside the restaurant, as I've only ordered delivery, but if it's on par with the food it must be good.

T'brenn Mckinnon

Edit: The food got a lot better as did the specials. Well done!

Geoff Fleet

Overpriced, low quality and bad customer service. Got beet salad once and found a little hard plastic thing in it. Took it back and they didn't want to take responsibility for it. I went back after a few months today to get a London fog with no syrup, basically tea and milk..They charged almost 6 dollars for their large size which is a medium everywhere else. Will never go back

This place is amazing. The food is outstanding, the service is warm and attentive. I can't say enough about the overall quality! I see people complained about the wait, but if you want quality, fresh made food, you need to wait a little. If you want low quality, pre-made fast food, go elsewhere. The wait times have always been reasonably for me. I am sad it isn't open on weekends or for dinner.

I will definitely order from here again! I had trouble ordering online and needed lunch delivered for 10 people. Called them and so pleasant so work with. Delivered on time and great boxed lunches! THANK YOU

Harriette Laroco

I like that they have a variety of vegan and vegetarian options. Their food has been consistently good, although I wish the soups were thicker (but that’s just a preference). The people who work their are always so friendly so that’s a plus. Highly recommend their vegan bowl and their Beyond Meat burger! It gets quite busy during the lunch rush so time your visit.

William

Chicken and waffles are amazing. I get it with the side quinoa salad or the mixed green salad. People working up front are kind and courteous as well - one of the best places this side of Burnaby for lunch. Also - clever name considering the part of town :P

Friendly service! Poached eggs were tasty, and they gave us a dessert on the house since it's the last day before they're closed for the holidays. Free parking for an hour if you register inside. Good neighbourhood find!

They just open and we decided to try it out. Came here on Saturday for breakfast . Had the best egg white asparagus and spinach omelette with fresh fruit plus fried white and purple potatoes ever. Simply amazing! The coffee is so smooth from Italy . The service is so friendly and the chef uses top quality products. So great to have a fabulous restaurant in our neighbourhood.

Foodies on board is a great place for good fresh food. The wraps looks fabulous, i had chips and fresh guacamole. They have the Lavazza coffee. The chef put his heart and sole into revamping woodwork and kitchen. Wait for good food to come. A new gluten free cookies and bars so tasty arrived

Z M

I gotta agree with every other review so far. I got a $20 poutine with chicken (extra $5!) which in itself is pretty ridiculous. When the poutine was finally ready it didn't even have gravy? Their solution was a nice poached egg, however they serve it in a frying tray and on paper, so the moment the egg breaks it soaks straight through the paper and onto the table. The $5 for a handful of chicken wasn't even warm. So essentially i paid $20 for average fries. Just go to the Sandwich Tree, it's half the price.

Bartlomiej Kus

i had the teriyaki angus beef rice bowl and it was delicious. the meat was very tender and the veggies were cooked just right. they also have lots of organic kombucha which is nice. the restaurant itself is nothing special but the staff and food are awesome!

My breakfast was delicious. Healthily sourced ingredients, prepared with care and skill and served by friendly people.

I agree with most of the reviews. Not that great for the price. It's expensive. Most people around here eat out several times a week, if not daily and what's nice about most of the selection around this location is the cost. Rod's had very regular customers because of the cost & wide variety of meal choices. It definitely wasn't a 5 star diner, but it was a good bang for your buck. What also really bothers me is you can't customize the sandwiches so if you're allergic to dairy or eggs, you're out of luck. They're pre-made and can't be customized and then sitting in that case for who knows how long. At $10 - $15 a meal it's not going to have as much business as it could. If I'm going to pay that much for a sandwich I want one made to order and will take a 5 minute walk to get it. As for the daily specials, I have not heard good feedback as of yet. I may try again later but will not go for the sandwiches and will not be a weekly customer.

Great place!awesome food that's always healthy and staff are friendly. The menus are always well thought of. Also a great place to meet cute guys❤️

Best cafe in the local area

Ben Jackson

Beyond meat burger was incredible!!!

William Saunders

The eggs here are phenomenal, possibly the best I've ever had. The sous vide style egg is not for everyone as they are as soft as you can go, but to me that means perfection. The classic hollandaise was good but together in the Benny was just so tasty. Their smoothies are also very satisfying. The bread was a bit over toasted though. Would go back in a heartbeat, only real drawback is they aren't open on weekends!

Andrea Manchur

Not bad place to go for lunch. Tasty but not cheap.

chu bruno

What a wonderful late afternoon meal experience. My wife ordered the eggs Benny with salmon, simply amazing. The hollandaise sauce was perfect, the eggs runny to perfection. I had the chicken strips, cooked perfectly, the salad was amazing. I shared a breakfast platter with my daughter, the eggs were scrambled perfectly, tasted like the way eggs used to be made, bacon was crispy and good size amount, and the potatoes were plentiful and cut round rnd roasted beautifully. Each plate had fresh fruit, strawberries, melon, and dragonfruit. The service was great all around. The price was very affordable for the 3 of us. We will definitely be back for more ????

Update: I went in yesterday November 29, 2017 and had the ginger beef. I was glad to see since my last visit that they actually have proper dishes on the menu and not just poached eggs and sandwiches. The ginger beef was great, even more delicious than the last time I had it. Although at $18.00 for the ginger beef and a pop I was unhappy with the price. The con of the visit was definitely the wait time. I waited 26 minutes for a to go order. This place needs to realize that most people who go here are workers and are on time crunches. Waiting 26 minutes is unacceptable. I feel like the kitchen is always understaffed. Also after reading the responses to the negative reviews here, I see the owner is not open to constructive criticism at all and only wants to defend themselves. Horrible approach that will eventually lose you a lot of customers. I probably won't go back. Gave it three chances and was not fully impressed. Lowering my rating back to 2 stars. Update: I went in today July 20, 2017 for lunch again. I am happy to report that the service was faster and they now have regular soda! lol We got the ginger beef special and IT WAS DELICIOUS! BRAVO! We also purchased a container of the salsa which I thought was really fresh and tasted great. I will definitely go back to try their other daily specials and purchase their salsa for home-use. The amount of improvement in such a short period of time is actually very promising! It is still a little on the pricey side so it won't be my daily lunch but I will definitely return. As far as negatives, the only thing was it still gets hot in there. I noticed the rod's people used to prop the door open, perhaps a good idea for the new owners. I think it's only fair to up my rating now. I will give it 3 stars, the average of my 1 star experience and my 5 star experience. Looking forward to getting it to 5 stars one day! Old Review: I went there for lunch today. I had their lunch special which was fried chicken on hash browns and mushroom sauce. Firstly I ended up waiting about 15 mins for it as they kept getting the orders mixed up behind the counter. It wasn't until I reminded them there was a second entree (I ordered for me and my co-worker) that they provided me with the meal. The chicken was oily and the breading on the outside was overcooked and definitely not a traditional fried chicken breading. The mushroom sauce was forgettable. The hashbrowns were doused in truffle oil, which everyone knows is meant to be used sparingly, well everyone but this chef. Your beverage options include coffee, water or some odd looking European soda. The sandwiches in the display case looked ok but at $9 a pop, I'd pass. The atmosphere is nicer than the old restaurant however they still haven't addressed the ventilation issue and it gets hot quickly and fills with the scent of oil. I understand it is their third day and problems need to be ironed out but the quality of food really makes me wonder if these people are actually caterers. I will pass, perhaps go back in a month or two to check if its improved.

Edit: Options are limited in the area, so I gave them a second chance... Wow, did they ever turn this place around! Overall, don't expect lunch and a drink to cost less than 10, but for under 20 it's great! Higher cost than Rod's but waaaaayyyy better food. My pocket book can't handle the 3 times a week I used to eat a Rod's, but I'll be treating myself now and again. ___ Updated Review I ordered off their daily lunch special twice. The first time I had Pad Thai, and it was brilliant! I've never had Pineapple with Pad Thai before, but wow did it ever blend well with the other flavors. The third time I had their slow roasted angus beef special. Hot damn! A little well done for my taste, but man was that crust on the meat good. Salty and savory! the rice pilaf and yorkshire pudding was a nice touch. I had it with a large coffee and it only cost $18. Great value in my opinion! ____ Review from when they first opened. I ordered Poutine with Chicken and a coffee. It came to $24.xx with a 10% tip. The poutine looked good but I couldn't eat it because it came with fresh tomato diced up in it; no mention of tomato on the menu. I asked for a refund. I got 21 something back. They had the nerve to keep the tip. A shame, I went to Rod's twice a week and was looking forward to a new lunch spot.

Tammy Mudry

Very pleased with the unique twist on each menu item. Ordered many dishes and each item far exceeded my expectations. Flavour, portion size and presentation was great.

Jimmy James

Awesome little cafe with small menu of various cooked dishes, sandwiches, breakfasts, baked goods, coffee and bubble tea. Lots of sitdown space with tons of tables and chairs. North of Production Way Skytrain station and the bus loop, cross alley by Thunderbird Cres stop light and down the stairs NE of light.

Rev. Bethan Theunissen

Love this place. Brilliant staff. Great food. Helpful with food issues.

Julian West

Horrible fish and chips for $13, rip off. Never again

Josh Levinson

Had the fried chicken and waffles. It was a very bizarre dish. Strangely fried chicken (the chicken did not seem like good quality chicken), half a waffle, and a weird butter chicken sauce. It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't very good either. I'll probably give the place another shot though (with another dish).

carson fong

It's a bit pricy, but the quality of the food is quite good, and the chefs dress and act professionally. Not an everyday place for me, but good for an occasional stop.

Went for brunch with friends and the food was amazing. Loved the poached egg on smoked salmon with garlic paprika hash brown. Nice setting and very friendly staff. Will definitely go back.

Great food , eggs Benedict was on fleek & the chicken & waffles was too good to handle I almost cried, and staff was awesome aswell.

Terry Michaels

Tried their daily special today. $14.95 you get Angus Beef! What else you could ask for! I think they are reasonable priced. The ingredients they're using are high quality and from local farms. The eggs are free range eggs and they smoked their own bacon so it's chemical-free and nitrate-free. They have variety selections of house made products for to go, such as salsa and guacamole dips, chips and crostinis. Their takeaway containers and cups are fully compostable, which is great! I can see they are trying to make some changes here. Not sure about the previous reviews complaint about the sandwiches being displayed in the cooler. In a lot places in the cafes and even Blenz and Starbucks they display their sandwiches in the display cooler. The sandwiches in Blenz are from centralized kitchens and definitely not fresher than this.

Many people thinking the price is over! But I think first of all you need to think about the food Is delicious or not and the quality. There the food very tasty, $15 for a lunch is no problem, when you go to the food court , we still need to pay same much money to get a meal!

Stopped by in the morning for some coffee & ordered a caramel macchiato. I don’t know what they gave me but it was not a caramel macchiato. At best it was coffee flavoured water. Definitely don’t recommend

Joseph Regis

Appears to be fancy and hip but fails miserably. It's grocery packaged food level. I recently started working nearby so I've been getting my lunch from here for a few weeks. I got the pork cutlet a few times. It isn't the best cutlet but not bad either. But the soup that comes with it are all terribly under-seasoned and appears to have been microwaved. And the salt in the salt shaker on one of the tables is hardened so you can't even get anything out of it. I ordered their Friday feature called Chinese Braised Chicken. It was possibly the WORST chicken I've ever tasted in a restaurant. I could have stuck chicken drumsticks into water, boiled it for 20 minutes and made the same thing. It was absolutely flavourless and also colorless. And also, it was cold. It was straight from the fridge. I asked the staff if it was supposed to be cold. They said yes. I assume they just make a huge batch the day before and stuck them into the fridge. And they just serve it straight away. I paid $13 to bite into a few cold and flavouorless chicken thighs braised in water. And that day was when I decided to stop giving my money to this restaurant. They don't put any actual effort into their food. It lacks any substance. The only positive thing is that the service is nice and pleasant.

Kristi D

If I could give it 0 stars I would. The food was disgusting! The eggs were raw (complete liquid), the cheese sauce was rancid, and the avocado overripe and quite bruised. I called to complain and the supposed manager fought with me that the food was good. She made nothing but excuses and raised her voice several times. She ended up saying she would refund my money but the next day told skip the dishes she would not. Apparently their chefs maintains the food was all cooked and of good quality. Apparently at this business the customer is always wrong and their enjoyment of the food is irrelevant. I will never order from here again. Edit to respond to restaurant: I love how the restaurant came on here and made every excuse for the food being awful rather than apologizing for my experience or feelings and offering to make it right. The egg explination was given and as I explained on the phone the eggs were not white and were clear in color and completely liquid like a raw egg. As I explained then I have a sous vide and am well aware what an egg that comes out of those look like. These were raw!! In addition I explained well before speaking about the credit that the other items were not good. The only item out of my order I would have again was the chocolate milk, it was good. You make it sound like I made up these claims after you offered a credit to get more money which is an out and out lie. I told you right off the bat the three main issues I had. In addition I didn't just complain the cheese was brown so I threw it out. It smelt rancid and made the person who was going to eat it gag. I too smelt it and it indeed smelt rotten. At no point did you tell me it was Guinness cheese nor is this listed on the skip the dishes menu. Lastly I did not complain about the gaucomle. I complained about the sliced avocado that was on top. It was bruised with black spots and noticeably overripe. You twisted my complaints completely to make it appear that your food was up to par but it was so disgusing two different people had to throw items out that were revolting. You asked me what items I wanted credited since you were so sure they were good quality that you weren't willing to do the right thing and refund my order out of good will. Working in the hospitality industry for years this is standard practice with such an awful experience. You did end up agreeing to refund me in full. The next day when I reached out to skip the dishes to give another order a higher tip since the food and experience with creme de Le crumb was so much better I asked if they had heard from you to do my refund. They reached out to you and you told them you were no longer going to fulfill your promise to refund my order in full AND you were not willing to refund for anything since your chef said the food was fine. This is shocking customer service and quite honestly it doesn't matter what your chef says. If the customer is unhappy you don't fight with them to say you are in the right. That is customary is customer service that the customer is always right. At no point did you apologize for how my experience and food was. You couldn't admit that anything that was done was wrong. You were combative, defensive, rude, raised your voice to the point that I felt uncomfortable and got frustrated and upset, not to mention you didn't fulfill your promise. You were so over the top of course I began to get my back up and fight back. I am the customer, trying to give you feedback about an experience that was so poor, you couldn't admit you or your chef was in the wrong. I was in no way abusive as you claim, you were the one who raised your voice and in fact told me I was being "ridiculous" and that skip the dishes agreed. Skip the dishes actually offered me a $15 credit for how awful this all was and apologized in fact they actually advised me that I should give you a negative review and how to. You make it sound like you are working with skip the dishes to make this right but you haven't contacted them to refund me anything. You should be ashamed to run a business this way!

Anyone else notice the latest string of suspiciously positive reviews? They all sound like they're poorly written by the same person. If they're legitimate reviews, great. If not, shame on you guys. Your customers have left their honest feedback and instead of taking them constructively you undermine them by arguing their opinions. After two visits I actually find the food decent but the service was quite poor. The price point is definitely higher than other restaurants in the area. The owners should've done their homework. I guess not all of us are sold on $5 "Lavazza" coffee and "nitrate-free" bacon.

Used to like this place before they changed their menu. They used to have an express lunch for 9$ which was a little pricey for what you get but still the best option around. Now it's like $15 for lunch. Their options, portions and quality don't justify $15 and there's no reasonable options for less than 10. Makes me sad to write this review as it was my regular spot.

Yvenna and team did a last minute catering for a work event for us, and not only was the food delicious, but it was nicely packaged for individual consumption. We were so impressed, we used them again a second time for catering! Thank you for making it such an easy (and yummy) process!

A fantastic addition to the area. My 3rd visit in a week and it was all awesome. Great service and great food! Don't change anything. Keep up the great work. I'll be getting my office to check it out too.

Updated Comment: You attention to my concern was very impressive. Based on your response I can see that this was in fact a delivery issue. I would advise others to consider the recommendation to order direct from Foodies if possible. Thank you again for your response and hopefully I can try the same dish in the future without the resulting delivery issues. The only recommendation I would still make would be to look into better quality or preparation of chicken. OLD REVIEW (SEE ABOVE) Skip the Dished a Keto Bowl. There was an cm of liquid in the bottom of the bowl. Basically iceberg lettuce floating in water with 2oz of chalk dry chicken. Oh BTW it cost $20. Ridiculous!!!

Fries is too soggy and chowder soup is too salty. Terrible experience

Second time for breakfast again (eggs Benedict) love the eggs love the potatoes! Wish I had taken a pic next time I promise. Came to rods quite often, foodies is a step above. The salads will be next to try. :)

I had joked about putting a note on the door during construction saying I hope this wasn't going to be another sandwich place. Clearly they didn't do their market research. Lunch cost $13.95 plus tip. It was doused in truffle oil and I couldn't finish it. The chicken was not fully cooked and the breading tasted weird. Very cheap chicken pieces. It might be a step up from the Rod's, however, Rod's was a greasy spoon. You knew it was a greasy spoon. You went there for cheap burgers, fries, wraps, chicken fingers, salads, etc. Cheap & Easy and QUICK! The industrial people around here want quick. So now we have quick pizza, quick sushi, quick subway (sandwich location 1), quick sandwich in location 2 (sandwich tree), slower but fresh made sandwich in location 3 (t bird) and now slower, not fresh in this new location 4 (Foodies). We have enough sandwich places around here. If you want to pay $10 for a sandwich, go for a 5 minute walk and get a sandwich made fresh when you order it and not one sitting in a glass case drying out during the day. Foodies is trying to be fancy but it's not quick and honestly was not good. I have polled many people in our office who tried it and no one wants to go back. My boss took our billion dollar clients here for lunch and one spit out his soup. Oops. I did hear the breakfast was good, but again, not cheap & easy & quick. Again, give a second chance in a few months. Hopefully it gets better.

Terrible service, long wait for food, poor quality. Will not be back

Good atmosphere, convenient location. Had their turkey panini today, and it's delicious! The bread is cranberry bread and the sauce is cranberry mayo, which makes a great combination with the turkey breast! The turkey is real turkey, not the processed meat you get from subway. And surprisingly it's not dry! I agree with the other comments that you get what you paid for and it worth the extra money.
