Awesome service. Fresh food and very reasonably priced. We come here usually 1-2 times a week. We have tried the shawarma, falafel, burgers and kabobs. Everything tasted delicious. We have also used the restaurant for catering for family occasions and the owners did an amazing job making sure our order was perfect and fresh. Everyone in my family loved the food.

Tasty middle-eastern favourites (shawarma, falafel, etc.) in a casual, diner-style setting. They also serve some North American fare and the burgers are surprisingly good. I'm not entirely sure, but the patties are lightly seasoned and taste homemade. The staff are all incredibly nice and keep things moving fast during busy times.

This place is glorious! If you walk in that door and order a chicken poutine you will sit down that that table, take a bit and literally orgasm in your mouth. The combination of fries, cheese, turkey style gravy, chicken, suvolaki sauce or something like that and hot sauce mixes in your mouth like an explosion that changes your outlook on life in every bite, making you believe there is good in the world. I’m serious, if you get a chicken poutine at this place you will be part of a group that has seen the light seen the light of heaven. Zesty has made the containers much better for skip presentation. I was also directly called and informed that since my favourite is chicken on the rock its better to select that then chicken shwarama dinner. I remain loyal to this place because it has the best chicken shawarma and customer service. I try and go in as much as possible so they get the full amount they deserve it. Jan 26 2021 still love zesty. Today when ordering via uber eats I forgot to add the pita which I personally love with the chicken shawarma. I called and they helped me get my pitas! The owner even reached out to make sure I ordered the best way on the app always impressed Another update dec 29 2021 still the best shawarma in town. Going into the store and knowing you are helping a local business and getting the best service is what brings you back. 5/5

Having been spoiled by a few good shawarma places travelling around, this place is not bad - average to be fair. What it really lacks is portions. Having small portions and charging $14 for shawarma dinner and drink can only be justified by an above average quality in terms of freshness, food temp etc, and unfortunatley this place does that have that. If youre in the area pop in for lunch but dont go out of your way. Edit: Having visited this place again, it appears the manager listens to his customer and the shawawma was absolutely amazing and full. Not only do i respect that as a business owner, but it shows he actually gives a ****.

This isn't my first time at Zesty Pita as they have multiple locations. Sometimes you go to a new location of a place you love and it ends up being completely different and not to the same standards but this place; was not the case. The chicken is one of the best and they slice it off in bigger chunks which allow for the chicken to stay juicy and moist. Try the chicken shawarma plate and their hot sauce. You won't regret it. Likely the best spot in Halton region. Ahmed and Louay were exceptional in the customer service and were very attentive and courteous. will definitely be back soon when the middle eastern craving kicks in.

It was very clean, much more than others places of it's size. The staff were also friendly and looked very happy to serve us. The food was also very good, and it was very entertaining to see your food be made in front of you, and see the gyro spinning. The only thing I would suggest is to have more variety with the menu, as I would like to see other food items on the menu.

The food here was great. The staff were very friendly and very generous. I was visiting with family from Calgary, and was expecting a typical donair place, but was very amazed by the amount and quality of the portions, as well as the great customer service. I just wanted to take the time to update my review these people are responsive do the current covid-19 crisis and have adjusted their protocols. they've expanded their menu since I was there last and provided a lot of great options. surprisingly they make a really good burger even though that's not their Forte. Their ingredients are fresh and it's a nice alternative when you're sick of pizza, Wings,Chinese and the like. They are local and right now we're doing our best to support all the local takeout Industries I want these guys around when this all blows over.

I have been here twice and both times the food and service has been impeccable. The Shawarma and Fattosh salad with chicken was excellent. You can tell the owners take great pride in their business, the restaurant is very clean and both times the owner has gone out of his way to make sure we had a great experience, even giving us chicken to try and today gave me a free pop! I have recommended to people at work and will def make it one of my 'go to' places!

Discovered this Zesty Pita location which is closer to where I live, after having tried the shawarma at the other location on New street. Well this location did not disappoint. Delicious chicken shawarma and rice. The dinner also comes with potatoes and a small salad. I wish it had a bit more chicken. The chicken is served fresh and tasty and they add tasty garlic sauce and hot sauce to your liking. The hot sauce is just the right spice level for me. Spicy enough to give it that extra ‘zing’ but not so spicy that it overwhelms the flavours of the meal. The rice is fluffy and tasty and the potatoes are great. The portion is so large that I usually eat half at one meal and save the rest for the next day when it can taste just as good or better. It’s like the spices gain even more flavour the next day. The guys that work there are friendly and appreciate your business. There is a small area where you can dine in or just takeout like I have. I would highly recommend Zesty Pita for delicious Mediterranean cuisine at an affordable price and fast, friendly service.

Go to this location weekly for the chicken shawarma dinners. The service is amazing, food quality and price is great. We can never usually finish because there is so much food. Ahmad has such an amazing personality and did a great job getting the order together. Owner also gave us a few free drinks on “the house “ because we brought the kids and knew we pickup food weekly. Went there for lunch...staff was super rude and unfriendly, had a wrap and it was about the size of a snack wrap from Timmies. some many WAAYY better options in the area, osmos, royal shawarma, agabi, pita nutso... Dont waste your time!!. After getting a very courteous reply from the owner after posting my concern and frustration, we have given zesty pita another shot and wow what a world of difference, generous portions and some of the friendliest staff I have met. Terrible value and portions - we just ordered the greek salad with chicken shawarma and the chicken shawarma plate! When you go in person, you can customize what is on your plate so when we order for delivery, we put in the special instructions what we want or what we want omitted. Tomatoes were added to one (allergy), 1 single fifth of a potatoe was in the chicken shawarma plate, and no dressing of any kind was on the salad (and there is supposed to be) nor was garlic sauce or hot sauce added, or pickles or turnips, or extra side of garlic added. I've had issues here before with ordering when you're not in person. Not ordering again.

I just ate there, the food and the service were really good. I eat shawarma quite often, and the only complaint I have here is that they didn't put much chicken on the rice. I feel like they were light on the chicken, heavy on the rice. I still think they deserve a 5 star because the service was fast, the food was tasty and the lady that helped me was lovely. Been at this location a few times now. It seems the quality of the product is hit or miss. The food tastes great, but its inconsistent and it's rather uncaringly put together, which can impact the flavor overall. For example, it's difficult to eat a wrap that is splitting and falling apart at each end, and one side is all sauce while the other is all toppings. Staff are usually very friendly and puts together food in a timely manner. I think I will be avoiding the wraps tho.

When you would like to eat shawarma especially 'Chicken Poutine' at Zesty pita it would make you feel this is the place where west meets east. Their chicken poutine tastes great, however customizing it with garlic sauce, hot sauce, tahini with a hint of spicy onion and crackers takes poutine to a whole new level. Their shawarma is great and falafel as well. Portions size are big enough to make you feel full. Staff is bonhomous, especially the Manager Hishaam and Salih. I would highly recommend this place, best place to give a treat to your taste buds. (The store at Walkers line and Uppermiddle.)

Thought I’d try this place out as it’s only a few minutes from home. I probably won’t be back due to horrible customer service. When I arrived at 9Pm (1 hour before closing) they seemed ready to close. The guy taking my order was rushing me. I asked for fries and he says no. Then I said what about potatoe wedges and he says “buddy you haven’t been here before we don’t have wedges or fries” I said “oh there’s fries on the menu” to which he replies “no we turned off the deep fryer already” he was just super rude and not a good first impression for new customers. I have shawarma once every other week and would have gone here so you guys lost my lifetime business over that. Besides that, the flavour is good but the chicken and rice are cold. They didn’t hear anything up and just scooped from containers sitting on the counter(probably not food safe)

I first had it at work because they order it for everyone every Saturday for lunch and I had schwarma only once before in Vancouver where I'm from and I didn't like it. So I was skeptical about even trying it when my work ordered it, but I'm telling you holy geez is this stuff ever great and action packed with flavour! The people that work at both locations are so friendly, hard working and considerate that it just adds even more reasons to why I buy from them on such a regular basis. Check this place out at either of their locations and I need to pre-warn you now though.......you'll get addicted to it. Think I've said enough so y'all get the picture, the funny thing is I'm leaving right now to go get some. Lol

After I asked him to change his glove he literally gave me even more of his angry bad attitude. After looking for a good Shawarma place I came across this place. Since they have a high rating I decided to give them a shot. I got the chicken Shawarma plat which consisted of; chicken, rice, potatoes and I choose a greek salad as my salad option. It was defiantly worth a try, they have great food. The chicken was perfectly cooked, the rice was nice and fluffy, even the potatoes which i was originally skeptical of tastes great with their garlic sauce. After i ordered the shaved the chicken in front of me instead of using chicken that had been shaved sometime earlier like osmos does. The only problems for me is that it wasnt very filling, and their hot sauce wasnt hot at all. I did ask for extra hot sauce, but maybe i should have asked for extra, extra hot sauce. Since i can't give a half a star i decided to give them a 4 star because the food was great. But my real star rating is closer to 4.5 To the owner i did ask for extra hot sauce, My exact words while ordering was " cant i get extra hot sauce, like a ton, I like it incredibly spicy" The reason i remember the exact words is because i use those same words almost everywhere i order. Although i should have watched him put the hot sauce on. So that part is on me.

Consistent things i have noticed were: small portion size of potatoes that lack flavour overall (2-3 pieces is un proportional to the plate) and small portion of chicken shawarma with quite a few burnt inedible pieces. Discovered them recently when I was looking for halal places to grab a quick bite. The taste and the portion size, was so good that I am back here to order saj/shawermas for my entire family. Yup! They are that good. The staff is super friendly and are happy to add any additional pickle, banana peppers, onion, etc. to the order, which in my opinion, only enhances the flavour even more. Needless to say, we'll be frequently seen dining here.

Love the atmosphere at this Zesty location. Comfy booth seats, very bright setting g and yummy shawarma and falafel. Manager gave us free rice with chicken for my friends son. He finished the whole thing, to his dad's surprise. The rice is pretty unique at this place, with falafel and potatoes are made fresh every day. Make sure you ask for extra garlic mayo and hot sauce. Very friendly staff too.

I am very pleased with Zesty Pita catering order today. We ordered lunch catered for an internal meeting. And our colleagues were extremely pleased. Catering manager Sid was extremely helpful and the order was easy. All you had to do was provide the number of people in the group and Sid made recommendations, and provided detailed description of each item with prices. Which were very competitive compared to other places we ordered from in the past mostly deli sandwiches. The food they delivered, delivery at no cost by the way, was fresh and very tasty. I call it real food like home made. Chicken and kofta skewers were still hot and very well done. Rice, potatoes, hummus, falafel and salads were extremely generous. Had a lot of food left. Zesty Pita Catering also provided extra trays, so many of us ended up using left over food to take home. Falafel as a vegetarian option were well received, especially as we had 6 vegan people in our team. We will certainly keep ordering from Zesty Pita Catering. Well done guys.

I’m revising my 5 star review to 2 stars. This place has lost all consistency. Recently I had 3 experiences where my order was sitting there or confused with someone else’s. My order today (Nov 19) was poorly executed. The shawarma was dry, chunky, and lacking flavour. The rice was clumpy and the sauces were incorrect. The salad had no dressing. They forgot the fries and my order was sitting there for 10 minutes. The fries were also thinner than usual and soggy. I don’t understand how so many variables can change from one visit to another. I did not see the same people there, so maybe this is the problem, but I am not risking another visit. If the owner sees this, please understand that your shawarma was excellent in the past. I want this place to survive and get better. If the owner sees this and wants feedback, please leave your contact.

I got a chicken shawarma plate off Skip the Dishes. Really haven't had to many bad experiences with the app. After receiving my meal I noticed the bag right away had no weight too it. I open the styrofoam and right away was blown away had how little food there was. Especially the fact the description says 'generous amounts of chicken' what a complete joke. Food itself was decent but I felt completely ripped off. Most likely will never go back.

As many will attest, brothers and sisters, if you want good shwarma/Lebanese/middle Eastern food in Canada you need to be in Quebec where you can go to Boustan or a similar chain and for less than $15 get delicious shwarma potatoes salad and drink. Here you will pay around $10 more and get a soggy unappetizing mess of a shwarma that comes apart as you eat it with an unpleasant aroma and aftertaste, frozen fries rather than potatoes and just feel ripped off. Just disappointing. Well I think I'll just have to wait till I'm next in Quebec.

I was working in Burlington and decided to get a chicken wrap. Very Disappointed :( Not a lot of fillings , I tasted more the wrap then the fillings and chicken. I ate the wrap in my car after buying it and it was cold, chicken was hard. The server did toast it with the wrapper on but it was under the grill for less than a minute.

It pains me to post this review as Zesty was always my favorite shawarma place in Burlington for the last two years. However in last one year i have got several times ,couple of them while ordering through Uber , Uncooked chicken mixed with cooked chicken. Its because when you guys are trimming and go deep, the deeper side chicken might not be fully cooked. The staffs should be trained to notice that. Like i said, several times it happened and I still came back since it was not always and usually only a small portion is uncooked. But it happened again today and this was like my final blow. You guys were noticed of this problem through Uber and still are not doing anything to fix the issue. That's why I'm leaving a review here hoping you would find it. Its in your best interest to fix it as serving uncooked chicken is really unhealthy and could cause lot of troubles for you too. To anyone who is reading this : Their food is great, portions are amazing. I just have issue with this one problem and hoping they fix it asap.

Do not visit this place within an hour of closing. The workers are extremely rude and will rush you and yell at you and make you feel very unwelcome as if you are bothering them so much by giving them your business. I had a wonderful first visit to Zesty Pita. We arrived around 8 pm and the staff could tell that it was our first time as we took a minute to review the menu board. We ordered two chicken pitas and a man who may have been the owner asked us to grab two drinks, on the house, in honor of our first visit. While they were preparing our orders, he also brought out a side of chicken shawarma as a free sample. I could tell he genuinely wanted our opinion and we were glad to tell him it was delicious. I was touched and impressed by the hospitality we were shown at what you may consider a fast food restaurant. I'm in love with the pineapple chicken shawarma and plan to be back repeatedly.

Since we live in Burlington this is our place to go for falafels. The owners treat us really well. They give you extra food and serve with a smile.The food quality is pretty good and it is reasonable as well.

Food was tasty but service was not great. We had ordered online in advance, and when we arrived to pick up - they hadn't even started preparing our order. We were told to come back in 10 minutes. Returned in 10 minutes time and only then did they start making it. Don't bother pre-ordering online - they only focus on the orders that walk-in. Plus, one of our orders was not correct. This was the Upper Middle location.

Wow! I mean how someone can invite you for free delicious food? This guys are crazy about serving guest, fabulous service. Food was like amazing. I never had this best shawarma. They deserve no 1 rank! Its really worth to spend your money like this place. Highly recommended. Go once and try to make me wrong, i bet you wont win. Cheers to team.

Zesty Pita never disappoints. The chicken shawarma pita is so delicious, it becomes part of my weekly routine to treat myself! The owner and staff are always very kind, welcoming and go above and beyond with their service!

The chicken shawarma and falafels are really good. They have a great selection of toppings too. Inside is typical fast food style order counter with sitting area. Service is fast and friendly!

Moved from Mississauga where shwarma is a plently. I was concerned no place in Burlington would surpass my mississauga staple. However here we are with Zesty taking the top spot. Fresh rice, very tender chicken. Adaptable service to give us a shawarma on the rocks with fries instead of rice. We will be back
