From start to finish Jacqui's team at the Platter Company provided service and meals that were absolutely stunning. In addition to delicious food and all of the amenities required to enjoy a meal - cutlery, plates, and all corresponding sauces, the presentation was something I have never seen. Our salads were presented as gorgeous gifts, wrapped so beautifully you almost don't want to ruin the packaging. Nevertheless, we did because the food smelled too incredible! Thank you so very much for your assistance, your team member who dropped off our meal, Mary, was absolutely lovely and kind! Working in administration and executive assistance for our company, I deal with many many many MANY catering companies, and am always left a little unimpressed or down right annoyed by the lack of accountability or professionalism. Thank you for creating such a beautiful plant-based faux cheese platter complete with homemade flavoured hummus, olives, and flatbread. Was a huge hit with everyone, including those who do not follow a plant-based diet. Equal rave reviews were garnered for the delicious vegan lasagna, and pulled jackfruit BBQ sliders. All were extraordinary. I will be back for sure. I cannot think of a bigger compliment than to let you know that at numerous times I had to reassure the carnivores that they were indeed enjoying a plant-based meal. Everyone was thrilled...and more full than intended.

Ordered 4 x 2 person charcuterie boxes ($30/each). They were amazing!!! There were 3 kinds of meat, walnuts, grapes, strawberries, blueberries, two kinds of cheese, olives, balsamic cocktail onions and pimentos. Assortment of crackers and chips on the side (so they didn't get soggy). The presentation was great! Perfect drop off gift for staff, friends or family. The shop is clean, they have sanitizer at the door. Lots of other dishes in their fridge and freezer section to choose from, I will definitely be back to try again!

We ordered several vegan items such as lasagna, pulled jackfruit sliders, faux charcuterie tray, and a few other items. We were so happy that they could come up with creative vegan menu items and then were blown away at how delicious the food tasted!! My entire extended family could not believe it was vegan. Jacqui is also a delight to deal with!! Thank you so much for making the food at our event delicious and memorable!!

Outstanding Food and Service!! So far, I've had the pleasure of ordering twice from TPC, and I must say it will definitely not be the last! Food is always fresh and delicious, and the presentation is always classy, and well put together. I had first tried TPC at a friends birthday, and I knew I had to save their info. the last 2 times I've ordered for work functions, and everyone is always commenting on how delicious everything is. The owner Jacqui is super nice and accommodating . She's always on top with her communications whether by phone or email. Her positive and welcoming personality really shows that she loves what she does and takes pride in her business. I'm extremely pleased with TPC.

She was so lovely and wonderful to deal with and when the food arrived I was blown away. Everything was absolutely gorgeous and the food was delicious. More recently, Jacqui has re-invented her business to cater to "curbside pickup" . The quality and selection is fantastic as always!! What a nice treat and alternative to cooking.........again!! Try the chicken wings and the Bolognese Sauce!!! Hmmmm!

We have picked up boxes from here a couple of times, however we won't be back again. The first time I picked up, I was at the reguster to pay and was asked to step aside so that the owner could ring through another customer who had come in after me. They appeared to have a friendly relationship. I did not think much of it.....not a big deal, I patiently waited while they spoke and she paid. However, the same thing happened with this weekend. I came in to pick up my boxes, this time with my 3 year old daughter (before you judge that, keep in my mind that I am essential healthcare worker married to a first responder and we often work opposite shifts). I was holding my very curious daughter's hand and trying to keep her from touching everything while standing at the register waiting to pay whena friend of the owner entered the store to pick up their order and I was AGAIN asked to step aside while she was rung through, all the while having 'looks' shot in my directiom because my daughter was antsy. I have no complaints about the food, quality or presentation. It is top notch. However the customer service is severely lacking, and based on the same bad experience twice in a row, we will not be returning.

Came into store and politely tried to order apps for Christmas. Owner was rude to myself and kids but staff acted professional. They took our name and number and told us they would call end of day to let us know if they can accommodate. No phone call, voicemail or missed call. Wife called back next day to follow-up and dishonest owner responds saying they called and left VM. My wife asked her which number she called back and her response was I'm in the kitchen and don't have time to check. Do us all a favor, move on to another location because Aldershot folks don't appreciate your lack of customer service skills. Not to mention she will change the price on you when she's busy and tell you her prices have gone up when coming into store.

We just had a company lunch-in with over 20 guests and it was our first time ordering from The Platter Company. We did a breakfast order as well as a lunch order. They were both fantastic and arrived on time. The food was super tasty and the portions were great! I was harassed by both the manager and owner of The Platter Company this past Friday. I was wearing a mask and following social distancing protocols at the store. I only couldn't use the hand sanitizer due to a skin condition, so I offered not to touch anything. The business owners didn't allow me into the store, when they should have been accepting and inclusive. I felt very uncomfortable so I left without picking up my order. I then received a phone call 5 minutes later from the owner as she proceeded to call me ignorant and yell at me over the phone. I tried to speak but she kept cutting me off and I felt completely bullied and humilated by her behaviour. Then she said to never come back to the store and said "Thank you" very sarcasticly and hung up the phone. I can't believe a business would ever treat a customer this way. I was not rude to them, I simply said I couldn't use the sanatizer. They should remember these are mandates, not law. People with physical and emotional disabilites are being negativley affected by these mandates and business owners need to show more kindness and understanding to those who are exempt.

I was a little apprehensive about ordering a platter that I would never see, from the opposite side of the Country but I was super impressed by Jacqui, her attention to detail and utmost customer service! I have had The Platter Company cater a few small and large family events. Jacqui was very helpful with planning the menu and deciding on the appropriate amount of food. She's a delight to work with. She holds your hand through the process and does all of the heavy lifting. The Platter Company has catered casual self-serve buffet events for me as well as sit-down hot food menus. Casual or formal, the food is always delicious and presented beautifully. I was recently a guest at a large party catered by The Platter Company. The food was incredible! The menu was largely hors d'oeuvres. They were exquisite! A few personal faves I must endorse...pulled pork sliders, salmon skewers, mushroom tarts, buffalo chicken skewers and flat bread with cream cheese (oh my)!

I booked this company for a work Christmas party. Beautiful presentation and easy to order. The favorites at the party were the butter chicken skewers, the jalapeno poppers, vegetarian flat bread and the mac and cheese. They even provide paper plates napkins and cutlery. I used them last year too and I would recommend them.

The manager harassed my mother for not being able to use hand sanitizer due to a skin condition. The owner then called her 'ignorant' and insulted her and banned her from the store. Never in my life have I heard of such treatment. I hope this nasty, horrible business goes under for treating people this way. It is not the law to force people to put chemicals on their hands. Never ordering here again, and telling everyone I know to do the same. Also, getting your friend 'Krista Kay' to post a 5 star review just minutes after me to 'cancel out' my review is quite unprofessional and shady business. The photo in her review was clearly taken in the store.

We had a neighbourhood gathering in our home for the first time in several years. To simplify the event I ordered platters from The Platter Company. Wow did they deliver. Their Presentation of the food was beautiful and our guest loved it. Most of their packaging and the trays are either reusable, recyclable or compostable which was a pleasant surprise after the past couple of years of take out packaging going in the trash. Also we are a celiac house and they took the time and care to ensure that everything included in the trays was gluten free. We even ordered a gluten free cheese cake and carrot cake to finish off the night. We were so pleased that we wouldn’t hesitate to use them again and often. Thanks to the entire team for a truly memorable event.

This company is absolutely terrible at communication. It takes them days to get back to you about questions you may have regarding their menu. I thought I had them booked for a luncheon I was throwing only to find out 2 days prior to the event that they were too busy to complete my order. Meanwhile I had been communicating with them for a couple of weeks regarding my event. If I hadn't contacted them, I wouldn't have even known they weren't going to fill my order. Talk about stressful at the last minute. They are a small company without proper etiquette.
