I've ordered from them many times through delivery apps and the food is incredibly delicious but the sandwiches always had soggy buns from the travel time. Ordered today and asked that they please leave the bun separate if possible and they did!!! Absolutely delicious and the bread is so fresh. Thanks for accommodating my special request, I hope it was not too much trouble :)

(Translated) Honestly I did not like that! The piece of chicken in the sandwiches was not more than half a centimeter thick and did not do all the bread. Not to mention the tomato sauce he puts in the sandwiches that makes the bread wet and not very appetizing. Also, the tables were dirty, the trash was overflowing and the floor .... The restaurant was empty! It's not worth the detour! To follow up on your answer on my opinion. I went to eat around 15: 30-16h. The restaurant was not closed and I do not believe in your group story that would have disappeared just before my arrival. The truth is that it was very dirty and no one took care of the cleanliness of the place. In the end, I do not recommend your restaurant to anyone! (Original) Honnêtement je n'ai pas aimé ça! Le morceau de poulet dans le sandwichs n'avais pas plus d'un demi cm d'épaisseur et ne fesait pas tout le pain. Sans parler de la sauce tomate qu'il mette dans le sandwichs qui rend le pains mouillé et pas très appétissant. De plus, les tables était sale, la poubelle débordait et le plancher.... Le restaurant était vide! Ça ne vaut pas le détour! Pour donner suite a votre réponse sur mon avis. Je suis allé manger la vers 15h30-16h. Le restaurant n'allait pas fermé et je ne crois pas non plus a votre histoire de groupe qui aurait disparu juste avant mon arrivé. La vérité est que c'était très sale et que personne ne s'occupait de la salubrité des lieux. Au final, je ne recommande pas votre restaurant a qui que ce soit!

Best sandwiches around! Better than California sandwiches in my opinion. Been customers of the franchise since the original location in Mississauga beside metal works where drake would go. My partner's family has been going their for years. Found out they opened up in my home town of Burlington and was over joyed! Sandwiches are always perfect and exactly how I ordered them! I'll always been a customer and will always recommend them! Keep getting that bread on a bun! You're the best!!!!!

On A Bun should have the Staples "THAT WAS EASY " button. I called MaryBeth to talk about catering, she says "talk to me about the event." Who's going? What's the celebration? Any allergies, vegetarian /vegan, gluten needs? Age group and so on. Within 20 minutes she emails me a custom menu including dessert, salad, rolls, and everything I need for a hands off event. The best part about the party, what a hit! The food was amazing I was dreading the thought of having to do this, but it was so easy! I would highly recommend On A Bun Catering.

Just had lunch with my wife and daughter here and was very pleased with the taste and quality. We had three different sandwiches which were all very tasty and served promptly. Also had an espresso I'm not sure where they get the beans but it was lovely. For sure I will be going back for more.

Amazing, fresh REAL food. Bun was incredibly fresh, grilled chicken was perfect. Sauce is good and mild. Ask for the Jalapeño relish too! Also staff super friendly and food was ready fast. Would eat here every day if I could.

I shouldn't give a review until I've tried more of the menu, but I will change my review later once I do. I ordered a chicken caesar salad on my lunch break yesterday. Staff were very nice and courteous, but that was the tiniest portion of salad I've ever eaten in my entire life. When the lady handed me the takeout box, my hand flew up a little bit because I expected it to be a lot heavier ????????????. Also, there was almost no dressing on it. It tasted good, but I think I finished it in under a minute. The girl who took my order asked me how I was doing and I fought the urge to say "I'm still very hungry" but I said it was really good. Again, very kind staff UPDATE: I changed my 3 star rating to 5 stars since I tried more of the menu. Great service and great food. A lot of people I work with go there for lunch and love it. And also thank you to the owner for replying to my review and addressing my complaint.

My husband picked up two of the veal sandwiches the cost was $20... This was just this past Wednesday and I hate to say this but they were absolutely awful! The pictures on their site were deceptive! The sandwiches contained a dry very thin piece of veal yes cutlet, that was old, with hardly any sauce on top of that! I could tell it was microwaved! Anything else you want on it cost extra and it was bland to top it off! My suggestion to the owner, serve better quality and update your site to show that you get a very plain sandwich that cost $9+++! I will not recommend, and I will not be returning. Only reason for the two star is that we did eat it and no one got sick!

My wife and I loved our veal parmesan sandwiches! The things were massive and oh oh so scrumptious. I had the sweet sauce and the wifey had the medium. We enjoyed them without the toppings... though toppings will probably be on the "let's try" list. We will most definitely be back here for some good eats. Recommend wholeheartedly ????

I wish I could give 6 stars!!! I have been a consistent customer here for the last 3 years and I'm blown away every time! I highly recommend the chicken sandwich! Thank you to the wonderful staff for always making the experience an amazing one and providing charging stations for my phone and free Wi-Fi! On top of that it is extremely well maintained I feel very safe eating here even during this covid 19 pandemic as the restaurant is always kept clean from the front door to the bathrooms. Mary-Beth catered my son and daughter's birthday party this past weekend for about 45 guests. Mary-Beth did a wonderful job helping me come up with a menu that would suit everyone's tastes and needs. The food was delivered exactly on time piping hot and everything was delicious. All of my guests raved about the food. Working with Mary-Beth really took away much of the stress of entertaining for such a large crowd. We would definitely use her again!

Tasty, but very disappointing. I ordered the sausage and onions and was disappointed by the amount of actual sausage on the sandwich. On each half there was 4 pieces of sausage, each piece was cut length wise and cross wise. I understand that pictures on menus are staged but there shouldn't that much disparity from what you actually order.

I think they should change the name from "ON A BUN" to "MOSTLY JUST BUN". It's OK. The service was great the day I went, lovely people. But as a sandwich.... a bit disappointing. I'm trying hard not to compare it to a certain other sandwich place down the road, but the fact is that they both serve very similar products, and one is vastly superior to the other. People seem to be really talking-up the eggplant, so maybe I'll go back and try that.

We ordered catering from on a bun for our army cadet unit for 20 people and Mary-Beth offered us a number of possible options. We decided to go with the assorted types of sandwiches, pasta and salad. It was all really delicious, reasonably priced and the portions were great. The food was all ready to go on time, utensils are provided to distribute the salad and pasta. Mary-Beth was great to deal with. I would definitely recommend on a bun BURLINGTON for a catered event.

This is hands down the best eggplant parmesan sandwich I've ever had, and I've had quite a few. Lots of people will compare this with the likes of California Sandwiches but I think On A Bun stands out as the clear winner to me. Combine that delicious food, menu variety, excellent staff and you have a stand-out business. Calling or going into the location is some of the best takeout food experience I've ever had. Try this place! You wont be sorry.

I ordered a veal sandwich combo. After I paid for the owner, the employee told me that they ran out of big buns and can only give me a small bun. I agreed as I had no other option here. The meat was crispy but definitely not enough tomato sauce or toppings (I ordered with mushrooms and onions). The jalapeno spread was good. Overall, the sandwich was just OK. No real flavour due to lack of tomato sauce. Would definitely prefer California Sandwiches anyday.

Well, these guys difently have great energy. We ordered for pick up. Two chicken with cheese (sauce on the side). Served hot!! The sandwiches were delish. However, wheres the CHEESE! toonie Tuesday was a great deal and the food was lovely! however i decided to rate it 4 stars because for some reason we were told you cannot get the garlic bread on the side (For 99 cents) if you ordered the Penne as part of the deal. YET... the menu shows in the side "Section" you can order garlic bread for 99 cents. We were left confused why we could not order it if we were paying anyways.

We recently had a sporting event on the weekend of April 28th and 29th. Onabun catered the lunches for both days, and all I can say as the organizer was, Mary-Beth and team from Onabun overdelivered with more than exceptional quality food. Day 1 was assorted Italian sandwiches which ranged from Veal, Steak, Meatball, Chicken with that amazing marinara sauce. It was accompanied by salad and lemon tarts. Wow Delicious. Day 2 was even more amazing with zesty Penne and Cannelloni, along with Ceaser salad and cheese cake for desert. You can't go wrong, the food was amazing, don't hesitate to contact Onabun in Burnlington and enjoy the food!!
