Ordered take out. We enjoyed our burgers and sides. Kids had chicken fingers and fries. I arrived about 25 minutes after ordering online. They were packing it up and I only waited a few minutes. Food was fresh and warm when I got home. Would definitely order from them again.

Mediocre, ordered my food for 7:50pm it was late 20min. My clubhouse was cold as was my French fries. The wife's steak and potatoes were hot at least though portions were the miserly thing I've encountered. I requested cutlery in the online order and received none. I had to call to get it. Bottom line check your takeout order because anything you might need probably won't be in the bag

I'm giving this restaurant 5 stars because of the service from when I entered the building till I sat down till I left the building. The place was clean the waitress was pleasant & showed distance when needed. Had our drinks we asked for right after we said what we wanted. Made my gf & I feel like we were needed and honestly can't say enough. Was the first meal out in public in 5 months and Best place I ate at in over a year. If you pass threw Cranbrook don't pass threw without hitting this place up even if its curbside dining. 5 star cook, 5 star cleanliness, 5 stars service & 2 thumbs up! I believe to date the best review I have given and deserve ????

We waited a while for a table. Once seated our order was taken. 45 minutes later the waitress swings by any let's us know our order is taking so long because it takes a while for the burgers to cook? Obviously she forgot to enter the order. Once we recieved our food we were served stale buns which crumbled with a little pressure. Numerous hairs were found in the fries. I do not recommend anyone dine here if you are looking for a good dining experience

We recently enjoyed an early morning breakfast at Denny's in Cranbrook. The service was efficient, the server was friendly and very helpful and the food tasty. The restaurant was warm and clean with COVID-19 protocols in place. My French toast was excellent and the fact that it was served with cinnamon sugar and syrup made it fantastic! So few restaurants know that French toast must have cinnamon sugar sprinkled over it! The over easy eggs were perfectly cooked and I really liked the thinly sliced bacon. My husband was really happy with his breakfast too! Thank you Denny's Cranbrook for starting our day off right!

We had an appalling experience with this restaurant. We placed an order online well before Google said they closed and showed up to pick up our order, the doors were locked. When we finally got someone's attention they said they closed at 9:30 (we showed up prior to this to pick up our order from before 9) the staff member said she would check on the orders and never came back. They blatantly disregarded as myself or my daughter stood outside to find out what was going on. When we finally got a hold of them on the phone...they acted as if we were in the wrong. Start to finish the staff was unfriendly and pushed the blame. We never got an apology and when we finally got our food it was lukewarm at best. When passing us our food, one woman wouldn't even acknowledge us. Horrible service.

Honestly, not the waitresses fault here what-so ever! She was a very kind woman that was just trying to do her job. However, if you’re out of certain ingredients, communicate that before someone sits down and orders. I had to order 3 different times cause every time I ordered something I’d get “sorry, we’re out of such and such and can’t order that for you” after the menus were taken away. Should have known something was up after we were asked to review the place before we ordered... Ended up leaving. Also, don’t comment back saying “sorry you had an unfortunate experience with us, if there’s anything we can do for you, contact joe blow...” Just do better, please.

I stopped at the new Dennys in Brooks last night Dec 17th at 9:00 pm. The host sat me at a table told me that Aneal would be my server.While I was waiting I noticed there wasn't many people in there, maybe 5 other customers. After about 5 minuets a lady asked me if I had been waited on yet, I replied not yet, and placed my order with her coffee,water, and sausage and eggs with hash browns. I waited 17 minuets for my meal which was brought to me by the host who sat me. Half way through my meal Aneal showed up and asked me if I wanted another coffee I said yes and I never saw him again. By the time I had gotten to the end of my meal I had observed the waitress grab a broom walked towards the the other side of some tables twirling the broom like a batton sending broom dirt all over the tables.I left feeling very unsatisfide. To top it all off I got 3 miles down the road pulled over and spent 10 minuets vomiting my supper. So if your hungry don't stop at Denny's in Brooks.

I have been coming to Denny's for years, as it's my go to for food, and a place to enjoy my time with friends and family while enjoying a tasty meal and excellent service. Recently, I have been spending a large majority of my time at Denny's studying, and I am always greeted with a smile regardless of the time of day. The food is always hot, delicious and decently priced. The servers are personable, and the restaurant is relatively clean as their bussing staff ensure the best care especially during the pandemic. This is a perfectly standard Denny's restaurant around midnight, with decent late-night service, however I regret eating there during regular mealtimes: The daytime waitress kept pushing us to order more; this "suggestive selling" is bad for public health and annoying. We clearly ordered the meals that each of us wanted; yet the waitress was nagging our table to order more food in a manner which is both unhealthy (trying to get us to consume more calories) and disrespectful.

This is a restaurant that is properly operated. Different types of seating, bright interior without being to harsh. Very clean. Watched the poor family in front of me have the server make mistakes on the bill 3 times, I waited patiently for 20 minutes standing in the front lobby so I could order a coffee and sit, and when I present my vaccine proof the person hosting told me she didn't like my card and refused to allow me in or to order, so I walked across the street to that lovely little milk tea corner and they happily check my vaccine card and made me a delicious coffee. I feel bad only for the ubereats or skip the dishes guy who was mentioning how he was already waiting for 12 minutes long and was supposed to already be on the way with the food. Hah, maybe it's best to steer clear of this Denny's it's not a restaurant, it's a nightmare.

Very cooperative staff. I stayed in sandman hotel for 1and half month.breakfast and dinner was in Denny’s everyday for whole time.Abhinay and Manpreet took well care of customers. Lilian is nice but some days she tried to ask regular customers staying in Sandman to pay up front before having seat.if you pay in advance and then Lilian will never show up to ask you if need anything in middle while you are eating.so heads up for all who stays in hotel.never pay up front

Had an excellent experience at the Cranbrook Denny's our waitress Alyssa was amazing she helped make my dining experience with my two young children! One of the best I've ever had dining out with my kids. Alyssa made sure to have my coffee cup full and she had also made sure that I could get what I needed for my strict diet. She is such an amazing waitress went out of her way to make sure my kids had their drinks full at all times and extra colouring pages right away to keep them quiet while they waited for their food. She made it so my kids got their food right away. She went above and beyond to ensure my dining experience was above anything I could have ever asked for it was wonderful. I will definitely be making sure to visit to this Denny's again soon and can only hope to have her as my waitress next time!

What can you say with chain like Dennys. The food is the same with slight variations from the chef for his or her personal touch. The Dennys in Cranbrook is generally good on the food side. The service is great the two servers we had worked tirelessly with no breaks in there shifts, which I find very alarming. They had humor and were spot on. The owner should be proud of the young man and and older woman, sorry no names. Mr. Owner please look into why your staff do not get a break. Thanks again for great people and food.

Where do I start? The positive that there was a line up but we were seated within 10-15minutes with menus. We got our name on waiting list at 11:10am. This is where it goes downhill. Our server took a long time to get to us, no coffee nothing. Then we notice her serving ppl seated after us! They received their drinks & got their order taken before she came to us. We thought ok they’re busy but willing to let it slide. But then we waited & waited… Finally when tables after us received the food we waved someone down. Our food finally came…cold. My husband could even eat 1/2 of his & really by this time he was upset & given up. I ate most of mine as I was starving by that time. We received a 25% discount & the waitress said she was going to take it all off but my husband was done & just paid it. We got out of there just after 1pm. So much for a relaxing breakfast before we went to a birthday party at 2pm. I don’t think I could talk him into going back for a long time. Very disappointed, I know it was busy but the lack of acknowledgment & communication plus obviously our order was left on the pass for a long time is inexcusable honestly.

Never had such horrifically bad service. I went there for my birthday brunch over the weekend with a friend. The waitress was incredibly rude when taking our simple order, and stormed away before I was sure she even took the whole order. My coffee (filled with grounds) was eventually thrown on the table, and my friends' smoothie had lots of ice chunks at least a cm in diameter. We tried to grab the servers attention but were promptly and actively ignored. I tried for 40min to get a coffee refill, but every time my waitress walked past, she purposefully looked in the opposite direction. The gentlemen at the table beside us had apparently been waiting so long, they asked the man bussing tables to check on their food, and asked a waitress twice. I watched the man bussing tables rush a lady out of her booth as soon as she was finished eating, and he spent nearly the whole hour we were waiting for our food crowding our table with his cart, standing over us, completely lacking any distancing. During this time, I watched several angry groups of people walk out of the restaurant. The icing on the cake though was watching my eggs Benny get soggy and gross in the window for 20 full minutes. The cook even tried to get a server to take my dish by pushing it forward when she came to grab plates, but she pushed it back and grabbed someone else's food which had been in the window for much less time. Our server was nowhere to be seen, my meal had congealed in the window, and we had obviously been ignored to the point of being forgotten. We left $10 on the table to pay for our drinks and walked out to get brunch somewhere else. Yes, they were short staffed. And yes, the staff they have are obviously overworked and under-paid. But that treatment was completely unacceptable. There should be no reason a customer watches their eggs sit in the window for a full 20min, especially after being dismissed, treated rudely, and ignored. If the restaurant doesn't have the staff to minimally serve the people who are seated, why did they keep seating people? Do yourself a favor and just get brunch at one of the amazing local restaurants instead. This particular branch of this chain is a huge, disappointing, waste of time. I'll never be back, and I'm going out of my way to ensure no one I know eats here ever again. It was honestly the worst dining experience of my life, and I didn't even get to eat my meal.

I had the fish and chips last night. Although they had a slight fish flavour they were very niticeably overprocessed patties. Embarrassingly understaffed. Waited over 35 minutes to get inside the building. Once finally seated, was forgotten about for another 20 minutes as we watched other tables around us get their orders in who had arrived after us. While waiting, we watched as the staff frantically scrambled around muttering to each other how upset and behind they were. Once we finally got someone to take our order it was another 30 minutes to get our food. I would not recommend coming here at all unless they get some more help. The building is only running at 50% capacity as it states on their door and there may have been about 30% at the time. I couldn't imagine how this place would operate at 50%. When we did receive our food which was cold, we had to wait on cutlery to be cleaned which took another 10 minutes. By the time we were finished we went through 3 different waitresses. The picture attached is the minuet squirt of ketchup I recieved when I asked for some. It was barely enough to drown two cubed hashbrowns.

Evry single time we go there we wait an extrme amount of time to even place our order! We went one time with 2 waitresses working and only 5 tables and it took over half an hour to place an order we where ready to walk out espishly when the person who came in behind us by 10 minutes got his food before us... the only reason this isnt one star is cause wben we told the manager about the service he was understanding and vary happy to listen and even gave us a duscount! We went to this restaurant for a family dinner recently. To begin with the park g lot is small and crowded. We ordered and waited over an hour for our food. People who arrived after us got their food before us. When it did arrive, it was cool and tasteless. Staff appeared as if they were only there for the paycheck. Crystal was my server again this morning and as always she was absolutely phenomenal. I asked if I could order over the phone to come in to eat as I'm between shifts right now and needed to get home to sleep quickly and she did it for me. She was super friendly, cheerful and efficient when I came in. She understood how tired I am and didnt waste any time in getting my food to me. I ordered a tea but I was so tired I didnt even want to stay and drink it so I asked for a cup to take it with me and she made me a whole new tea, and didn't charge me for it. She is the kind of server I aspired to be when I was serving, and I will definitely be back tomorrow to see her again. Thank you so much Crystal!!

Only put 1 star because I couldn't post this review without putting a star. This place doesn't deserve even 1 star. This was the worse place I been too in forever. Service was terrible had to ask if I could get a coffee after sitting there for 5 minutes then after a half hour nobody came around so I had to ask the lady at the counter if we could get someone to get us more coffee and take our order. Waited another 10 minutes and had to ask again. Finally a waitress came and filled our coffee and she was walking away I said are you going to take our order she was awe ok what do you want. Then walked away then had to yell to her and ask if we could get cream for the coffee and waited another 10 mins we had to ask the lady at the desk again if we could get cream finally after the 3rd time we got cream. Then 2 older ladies asked about their order they been waiting a very long time for it and the waitress was awry we are doing the larger table 1st then your order will be done. Then one of the older ladies went to see where these larger tables were and come to find out that the waitress didn't even put their order in so they left. Table beside us their food was all burned and nobody came to check on them or did anything for them. Worse place ever to go never ever recommend

the reason for 2 stars is because I ordered chicken and i found hair in my food, the chicken tasted burnt and the fries had no salt in it. when i got my drink there was black stuff in it the waitress asked to rinse it out and give me another drink, so i waited got my glass back but with the same black stuff in it but more. Denny's was a great place to eat and have a moment with your family. I also liked their TV channel choice,I saw the NBA basketball final their and I didn't miss the game. I would probably go again and enjoy their food and their services.????☺

Third time there recently and twice my server was named Jill. Couldn’t be happier with her. She suggested the pot roast and it was so good that I had it next time as well. She was very friendly and really funny.. The other girl was great also, she was there in the morning.

I love this place! I always come here after working a late shift. The staff are wonderful and know me and my boyfriend's drink orders by heart. We don't even order drinks they are just brought to the table. Sometimes we have my son with us and they are very kind and sweet to him. I highly recommend!!

Great assistance for a traveller in need. Out of town and my alternator died, the manager called around and booked me in for a canadian tire service, even though they were fully booked! Not only is my car fixed, he personally called to make sure I'd been well taken care of. Great people, good food, service friendly and extremely helpful! ????

We were arrived in town hungry, we wanted a nice dinner. Lots of fast food chains and some places were getting ready to close. Denny were one of the few choices. Restaurant looked like it had been busy. Took someone awhile to seat us. I expected a long wait as I could see many dirty tables. However, someone came to take our order and before long our food arrived piping hot. We might have hungry but we both commented how much we enjoyed the meal. Before our meal ended, the bus boy had cleaned dirty tables. This experience has changed my expectation of chain restaurants.

Nov 2020 Update - Every time we are in Cranbrook we love to stope here for breakfast, its always good and consistent the Waite staff is always courteous. Coffee is good and restaurant is clean. They are following very strict Covid rules so you feel safe. I added some pictures of our breakfast, I always swap out my hash browns for seasoned fries Following is old part of review: Restaurant was remodeled a couple years ago, looks great and cleaner. The food is good as always not a 5 star meal but good for the price. Breakfast is my preferred mealtime at Denny's For lunch I had a burger last time that was just ok, nothing special unfortunately but the coffee and fries were good. Service was excellent and courteous. Bathrooms could use a deeper clean. If the bathrooms were cleaner I would put my rating to 4 stars.

First Brooks is an amazing diverse town! Coming to Denny’s is an extra reflection of this! My sons and I ended our 3 day Camping trip at Kinbrook Island! We will be back to this Denny’s and Camping!! Mayolin was are server and treated my family perfect! Bravo to the staff at this Denny’s!!!
