I visited Dairy Queen in Brockville last Saturday and I was very impressed with the way Marc the store manager handled my order. Im sorry.i dont usually badmouth anything but today i decided to get my favaurite burger and onion rings....the burger was a swiss mushroom but it basically was a cheese burger with two mushrooms on it...the onion rings on the top of the box were so over cooked i was afraid i would chip a tooth but the two on the bottom were cooked perfectly..very disappointing as i was looking forward to my meal...on a brighter note the staff was friendly

I have only been here for blizzards, which have always been great. Their service is extremely slow. The drive thru is typically for people who want their food in a rush and most places make this their priority. This DQ doesn't care if you wait 10 minutes for your food or ice cream and the staff don't make the experience much better. There seems to always been some sort of confusion and they can be quite rude.

It is company policy and was advertised on TV as well, that when you serve someone a blizzard it is to be served upside down. It takes less then 10 seconds to do this. But nope, this store location refuses too. Their excuse, oh we are too busy. They actually have a roughly printed sign hanging up on the doors saying they won't because they are too busy to be bothered with doing this. Let me tell you, I have been to some very busy DQ's and they are serve it upside down. This is going against company policy and you should be ashamed.

Brought the nieces here for some ice cream after bowling the night away. The staff were great and so friendly. Everything was pretty hot and fresh which is surprising for a DQ. The place was well kept too, not dirty at all.

Last night may 15th around 8:30pm we drove through drive Thur and ordered two blizzards , I usually don’t like to order blizzard at this location as they are never mixed like the Fernie store! Well last night whom ever worked that shift made it just like they were taught !! Yes thanks for making it where the mixture was mixed from bottom to top perfectly. Nothing is more gross then the first half of ice cream last half to sweet to eat ! Take time make them all right ! Thanks again

Dairy Queen (must be referring to a cow) has always been about the ice milk products. And treats. So they started making burgers to keep up and have their own style and I do like the flavours of the burgers since they are different from the rest and don't seem as greasy as M's or A&'s. So you fill up on a decent burger for a decent price and get to top it off with a myriad of tasty ice milk treats that usually takes a few minutes to decide on but you're never disappointed. They have such a turnover of product that nothing ever has time to go bad and is truly a formula they have nailed down. Especially in the SUMMER. Especially when the car show is on!!

I want to mostly say thank you to this location. I was the last customer allowed to walk in to the store front for the day. Not even 5 min after i was out a transport showed up and the driver had his son with him. After not being able to enter nor go threw the drive thru. A employee came out and told them to walk up to the drive threw to order. I tip my hat to them for this. Thank you for being considerate to truckers.

Always look forward to coming here for a quick cold treat, and occasionally a meal. Usually great and speedy service. Edit: The speedy service previously mentioned has gotten worse over the years. Still a local favourite for their Blizzard treats and occasional hot meal, but the wait time due to a younger generation of unmotivated staff can sometimes be outrageous.

Went in to grab a quick to bite eat after my daughters gymnastics. We ordered the 2 can dine for myself and my daughter. The food was great but they messed up my daughters drink. We came through the drive through so I went into the store to get a replacement and was greeted with a smile by the assistant manager who quickly replaced the drink. Marc (the assistant manager) was very friendly and apologetic for the confusion. From my brief interaction with him, he seemed like a strong leader and well suited for his position. Will definitely be coming back.

This is by far the worst Dairy Queen on the planet. It's slower then molasses. I highly recommend driving elsewhere for your ice cream and food cravings. The last time I visited the dinning room with my family I was so mad at the end of the visit I smacked my melting dilly bar all over the front window. I've never been so mad in my life about restaurant service. We waited over 40 min for or food, not to mention the kids food was wrong. So they had to wait another 20 min. When I stood at the counter they didn't even acknowledge I was right in front of her face. The bathroom were filthy as well. I don't know how this place is still open. They seem to hire people that have absolutely not interest in working. My rant is done.

A few weeks ago we ordered 2 4 pc. chicken dinners with ranch dip. the chicken was Ok but the fries tasted like they'd been reheated under the heat lamp. Service was slow and staff was snippy, too. Today we tried again, this time both the fries and the chicken were disgusting. Fries were warm, not hot, and the chicken was over cooked and tough. Certainly not worth the money. We won't be back to this DQ but we will continue to patronize the DQ close to us, in Gananoque, they are the best DQ anywhere.

Just went through the drive thru tonight around 8:45pm and the lady who was taking my order didn’t seem to be paying attention to my order as I had said “a medium mango pineapple original Julius”, and had to repeat myself 3 times for her to understand and she didn’t even apologize or acknowledge that she couldn’t hear me but instead just kept saying “what?”. Then on top of that she rushed my order at the end, she kept cutting me off as I tried to order more items. After getting my order they even forgot the side of fries, and the snack wrap I ordered was leaking through the bag because it was placed on its side instead of facing up. I just felt rushed and overall dissatisfied with the service

Staff were friendly, My blizzard fell out the cup and I felt like I had been betrayed by the fundamental aspect of the blizzard. The restaurant was clean and the drive through service was fast granted. My burger was slightly damp, one might even say moist, fries were crisp and drink was fine. But the blizzard didnt stick less than 30 seconds after it being handed to me.

This place is not properly operated. Minimal staff even though we have a heat wave currently. Restaurant is not very clean. There should be a supervisor in the evenings - having a group of teenagers running a restaurant on their own makes for poor service and mediocre food. I enjoy coming for ice cream, but I never have a good experience. Side note, not accepting $50 Canadian dollar bills is ridiculous.

Im pretty certain the staff are stoned or something. I had to tell the person taking my order 3 times what i wanted, $7 bacon cheeseburger meal. Then they still did not get my order proper, as they kept forgetting the sundae that comes with it. If the store was busy and loud i could kind of understand missing what someone tells you but the store was basically empty at the time.

Slow service, melty ice cream.... I have been here quite a few times now, and am comfortable saying it is the slowest Dairy Queen I have ever encountered. Regardless of line up, once you order, it seems to always take several minutes for someone to make your ice cream/blizzard/whatever, and if there is a lineup, it moves mysteriously slowly. Further every time we have visited in 2019, their blizzards are always super melty, and melt fully very quickly - I honestly dont understand how they pass the blizzard test. I usually try to get an Orange Julius, but more than 50% of the time they are unable to make them due to missing ingredients - I wish they could keep this stuff in stock reliably!! All that aside, this place is GREAT for making custom ice cream cakes, they have some good cake writers, and do a great job so totally recommend for that. If you want an ice cream though - youre better off visiting McDonalds or Cowans - especially as the weather gets hotter!

Passing by, while visiting for a cruise with my girlfriend. We wanted to try the place as it was serving more than just ice cream. They forgot to add the honey-mustard dipping sauces with the chicken strips…. Come on guys !!!! We had burgers and fries too (the 2 for 5$ cheeseburger lovers). At least the burgers were medium and garnished ! Messed up packaging too of the order in the bag. I didn’t ask for much, seriously. I had to open the bag while 10 km away to find out !!!!! Eating dry chicken strips without any sauce is the worse with dry fries. Not doing 500 km again just for that ……… nope ???? Other places do much much better with less. Time to train the team !!!! Frankly, need more organization. You owe me sauces, people !!!! My girlfriend was disappointed too…

I always go through the drive thru and never go in, the inside of the building haven’t been updated in over 10 years (since I was in high school). The lines for the drive thru are super slow and long. Their credit card machine isn’t working properly half the time. Most times it’s a young high school student that’s new on the job. And I’ve gotten my order wrong before. But it’s Dairy Queen, not a 5 star restaurant so what do you expect ????‍♀️

Dilly bars have very little chocolate coating on them. It's like they are trying to go cheap on the chocolate coating. It's unusual for them to have such thin chocolate coating.

Ever since the new owners took over, the service has been slow. Just today I was waiting for somebody to take my order for almost 10 minutes and one of them proceeds to fill up the sauces up front, completely ignoring me and then goes to take an order in the drive thru.

Had the pleasure of taking my family to Cranbrook Dairy Queen drive thru for Blizzards tonight December 2nd. While waiting at the window after paying we watched the person making them drop one on the floor. When I told the lady at the window, I assume she was the Manager, what we witnessed, she tried to give it to me. I refused to take it and asked for another one, which they made half assed at best, no apology, absolutely no care from the Manager leaving me wonder if this was her policy for food hitting the floor. I must admit I feel if this is the way they handle things when customers can see, it makes me wonder what goes on in the back where customers can't see, "It's only one patty that fell to the ground, no one will notice". I give a POOR rating because Gross and Unacceptable was not an option. I for one will NEVER be back.

This Dairy Queen is the best location I’ve ever visited in my entire life! They had not been that good with old management but since last month, they had improved their service, quality and definitely ease of whole ordering and receiving food has drastically improved like never before. This place is a joke, just three days ago I paid $7 for two double cheeseburgers and the lady at the till told me that the promotion is over as of the end of January 2020.. I called a couple other dairy Queens around the province and they all have the promotion of two double cheeseburgers for $7. They charged me $12 and something cents for just two double cheeseburgers with cheese and ketchup.. not to mention the owner is very rude.
