There are two A&W locations in Brockville. The Wal-Mart location is by far the best. The staff are friendly, efficient and attentative. The other location in town is slow, rude and their over all quality is lacking. Though A&W may not be cheap price wise, their food quality far makes up for the few extra dollars you may spend versus McDonald's and others. Always a treat and an enjoyable stop.

Typical A&W...extremely slow service. There was a singular cook and cashier frantically working to keep up. Like all A&W I have been to, it was dirty, tables not wiped down (obviously because theres only so much two people can do) There was a dirty pail of water and a mop behind the counter leaning against the pop machine, overflowing garbage and cup sleeves sitting on the floor beside the cashier. I would like to say that this was an exception, but we have stopped there a few times because its right beside out highway exit and things are always the same; we wait a painfully long time for an over priced meal in an understaffed small restaurant

I went to this location with my 21 months old baby for the easy access to a highchair. We bought food for me and my husband there (29$ for 2 people). Unfortunately my baby is not eating everything yet so I had some food for him in a cooler. A woman working there came to me and said that I cannot bring my own food it's the restaurant policy to avoid contamination. She was just doing her job but I cannot believe that the management have this rule for babies. Even the airport security let me bring my baby food. So my baby didn't eat (except cucumbers because cucumbers are allowed but no sealed puree packages, no avocado and no hummus and bread, I really don't see the point here...) and I had to feed him later in the car during our 8 hours drive. I am really disappointed that the management is not more comprehensive for babies. I am never going back to A&W, plenty of fast food accept me to bring baby food, it's the first time it happened to me in 21 months and I do travel a lot with my baby.

Attention the manager of this a&w. You have a big problem with the cook on this morning. The young lady serving was wonderful but had an awful time with the cook who made it obvious that she was not going to engage her with conversation about customers orders. It was very uncomfortable for everyone. I'm not sure how the young lady keeps a smiling face because her coworker is making her job of keeping customers happy very difficult. We asked if my husband could have egg whites. The cook said no and refused to engage in any further explanation. Extremely rude and pretty much workplace harassment for the young lady at the front.

I asked for extra onions on a burger and they wanted to charge extra. I cancelled the order and won't be back. They almost had me scared off A&W since I thought it was a new A&W policy. I went to a different A&W and they didn't charge for extra onions so this must be the policy of this one restaurant.

Really enjoyed my short stay at this A&W! The service for lighting fast, ordered a beyond meat meal with extra onion rings and I had my order in under 5 mins. Also I love the fact that the staff there were very friendly, I asked for a hot glass of water to make formula for my kid and they were very kind in offering the water for free. Will definitely stop there again and again. Also they definitely followed provincial COVID guidelines and had an hand sanitizer at the entrance and exit.

This place must be the fast-food chain that delivers the most incorrect orders I’ve been to in my entire life. Especially at night - I wonder if their staff actually care less because of how intoxicated people are late at night. In any case, that’s obviously no excuse. Worst A&W you can go to, but if you must, make sure you double check your order before leaving.

I stopped in to this A&W Drive thru at approx. 2 p.m. while travelling back to the Toronto area on Wednesday Jan 3rd. I spent $12.50 cents for a cold Mozza Burger, and overcooked and very salty onion rings that were barely warm and a root beer that tasted more like coke. I was heading into bad weather or I would have turned back. I don't blame the staff as I only saw one person working and she was literally running to fill orders. I hope the seagulls liked it I sure couldn't eat it! I hope this is not because of the minimum wage increase: the outrageous price and too few staff. Maybe A& W should spend less on ads and more on service. I WANTED TO RATE THIS ZERO STARS BUT IT WOULDNT LET ME.

I love A&W. The buns are the best. Always fresh and tasty. You have to try the mushroom mozza burgers if still available.
