Awesome experience!
My son and I had the most enjoyable experience at The Dirty Apron. From the cleanliness of the kitchen and dining area, the easy to follow recipes, to the supportive and friendly staff, I'm truly impressed. I highly recommend this culinary …
Good food, great prices
Best date night out in Vancouver! Incredible instruction, and fantastic atmosphere.
(Translated) A fashionable cooking school near Gastown. The deli and lunch are also substantial, and the quality is very high, but the price is attractive. We had barbecue chicken, Israeli-style couscous salad and tomato gazpacho this time. Tomato & red paprika soup and beetroot salad, burugur black olives & small tomatoes are also delicious. In-house spices are abundant and affordable. In Vancouver, it is popular to present an assortment of gourmet ingredients. Not only is this place a culinary school it also doubles as a cafe with hearty sandwiches, deli meats, spices and much more.
They make sandwiches. Very tasty sandwiches. Although today my braised lamb was all grizzle and I lost my appetite.
Such a fun way to spend the night in Vancouver! Italian Small Plates for Two used simple ingredients to make 4 delicious meals, and each course came with your choice of beverage. Atmosphere was casual and warm, Chef John was engaging with everyone in class, and great equipment in the kitchen. Definitely will take another class soon :) Thanks Dirty Apron!
I had heard so much of The Dirty Apron and finally got to experience it first hand 3 weeks ago. It was a lovely evening, filled with new knowledge, fun, delicious food and great company. Who knew fresh handmade ravioli was so simple!? …
The baguettes here are so unique and delicious - one of my favourite spots for lunch
Bad prices, worse food. A friend wanted to come here for breakfast, and I'm happy to support local businesses so I came along. I ordered the Huevos Rancheros for about $9. This consisted of two poached eggs on some tomato sauce. The menu indicated a sausage was part of the dish but I didn't see one on my plate. Our food took about 30 minutes to arrive, which wouldn't have been a big deal if I didn't leave starving. We went to Tim Horton's after and got a breakfast sandwich, very satisfying.
Chocolate pecan cookie (2/5) This cookie was nothing special. it's a soft cookie, which i don't particularly like, and i wish it had more of a chocolate flavour. Dirty Twix (1/5) I was not a fan of this at all. the caramel was sickly sweet and unfortunately i had to throw it away. The biscuit at the bottom was alright though.
MAKE sure you read their terms and conditions and cancellation don’t expect them to call you even if you call and Counsellor.. My experience I called on On Monday to cancel for Friday.. I left a message asking somebody to CALL back as I need to cancel. I understood that there was a small fee for the short notice of cancellation.. No one called me back.. They just sent me an email about their terms and conditions again which I already read the iPhone car I got five minutes before the class wondering where I was now I received an email to notify all of that. they just sent me an email about their terms and conditions again which I already read the iPhone call I got five minutes before the class wondering where I was now I received an email to notify all of that so apparently if you need a counsellor make sure you email black customer service is poor on The cancellation policies..
(Translated) good food, also in the deli next door, you don't necessarily have to go to the cooking school - recommended for kids! (Original) gutes food, auch nebenan im Deli, man muss nichtunbedingt in die Kochschule - für kids hingegen empfehlenswert!
I joined the Mamma Mia cooking class with chef Peggy on Sep 29th and it was absolutely wonderful! The menu was very interesting, too quality ingredients, great cookware and amazing chef! She explained everything in such a detailed manner, not only going through the techniques but also telling us about the reasoning and the chemistry/biology/physics aspects behind them. Lovely experience!! Looking forward to applying all the gathered knowledge and to attending some other classes at Dirty Apron! Edit: updated to include photos.
Cozy place and friendly service, great coffee, will come back for lunch some day
60th Birthday Party -Best Party Ever Dec 17, 2021
If ever you get the chance to take a course with the Dirty Apron, or you can go to an information night (I once did their olive oil tasting night) you really should. They do such a good job organizing, they have great food and drink and it's really a great time with friends. Highly impressed.
We gave the gift of a Dirty Apron virtual cooking class to our family for the holidays. I knew it was going to be a good time (the in-person classes are always AMAZING), but I was blown away by how interactive, entertaining, and educational it was - all by Zoom! Our entire group had a wonderful time and felt connected through the session. The ingredient packages were beautifully presented, everything was planned perfectly, and the food was excellent. I look forward to attending more of their classes in the future!
Very sweet staff, great dishes, very cool ambiance. 100% will be back to take another class!
Incredibly friendly staff, great food, excellent coffee, fair prices for the quality. 10/10 would recommend
Amazing dining experience at dirty apron We attended a private cooking class led by chef David awhile back and we had the best time. The food that chef David cooked was delicious, and he was very professional & hilarious throughout the night. Not only with great cooking techniques, David also kept his station very clean :) big thumb up My girlfriend and i were there for about 3 hours and felt like it was a great value. We look forward to doing another class.
Very good prepared sandwhiches to go
Quality deli food and excellent services. I love this place for a casual quick meal by self and with friends. Also great place for getting picnics, sandwich and soup to go!! This morning I had my Acai Bowl.
Came here for a work event and it was one of the highlights of my trip. Takashi was an awesome instructor, very friendly and informative. I don’t cook a lot but with Takashi’s help and encouragement I felt super inspired to cook more. Highly recommend!
Fantastic cooking school with interesting menus taught by excellent chefs who are also great teachers. Not over complicated yet challenging enough to really learn a new skill. Highly recommend the “Ocean Potion” class taught by Kevin. This is my third class and will certainly be back again!
I took my sister here for the Roma cooking class for her birthday and we both loved it. They’re very welcoming and following all covid safety protocols. Chef Carol was great! She’s funny and helpful and a fantastic teacher. Everything was …
Lovely food, Leslie (catering) is great, very prompt delivery and setup. A bit difficult to get a hold of them, but well worth it.
Took my boyfriend here for his birthday and we absolutely loved it. We did the “winner winner chicken dinner” class where we learned how to butcher a whole chicken and made a curry meal, roasted chicken meal with salad, chicken wings, and were served dessert. Each meal had a wine pairing and everything was so perfectly prepped, cleaned up, and timed. It didn’t feel rushed or too long. Our chef instructor, Tessa, was amazing. She was so knowledgeable and personable. My boyfriend and I both said our favourite part was that we learned so many little tidbits that can go beyond the meal we cooked in the class.
Although we haven't been able to enjoy their space in person, we have had the pleasure and fortune of enjoying The Dirty Apron's soups while staying at Ronald McDonald House. Their donated dishes give us that feeling of home cooked comfort while our child is at BC Children's Hospital. Your soups and stews are excellent, and your kindness is appreciated in more words than my family can put in to a post. Thank you.
Had a blast at the Dirty Apron Cooking School this week! Chef Christine was amazing, funny and patient with us all. We were really impressed with how Dirty Apron was able to manage all our dietary restrictions and we learned several new dishes, some of which I've already recreated at home. Highly recommend this as a team building or staff event, it's one of the most fun things we've done in years!
Good food and service
The price is a bit high, but once you get there you understand why. The teacher is a master at the culinary arts and the food you will cook is of extremely high quality. Not you average cheap food and spices you find at a superstore. You get to stuff your face with tons of AMAZING food, and surprise yourself "I can't believe we just made this!" They serve you drinks and its overall a great atmosphere and lots of fun. In a short amount of time you learn tons! Not just about how to cook the meals, but special kitchen tips and tricks that only the pros know.
Great evening, lots learned. Quality time!
Went to one of their cooking class. Was a lot of fun, but a bit pricey. The teacher should speak a bit louder as it is hard to hear everything with the fans and the noise from the kitchen, but overall great experience.
Fantastic quality service, food, ingredients, the contrast and finnese would be the two major components to this beautiful calm ambient place to look, feel, see, experience, taste, and most of all remember.
My wife and I attended the Vegan cooking class hosted by Chef Kevin and had a great time. His instructions and support helped us achieve a four course meal that was a complete treat for our tastebuds.
We came here for lunch in a Saturday and I absolutely loved it! I ordered the Thai beef baguette and it is probably the best sandwich I ever had in this city
Been to the Dirty Apron cooking classes newly a dozen times and have loved it every single time. Great for couples, groups of friends or corporate events.
We recently took the On the Bone 4-hour cooking class and it was an amazing experience! Covid protocols were in place and cooking stations were spaced out as well as in the dining area. We're no home chefs and the menu looked intimidating at first but chef Tessa's instructions were clear and made sure everyone was comfortable regardless of their cooking skills. Everything was well thought out by their amazing team. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience and we can't wait to be back!
What an amazing place!!! Everyone was super helpful. I learned so much. The food was delicious, menu and portion well balance. Really liked the little shop as well.
We had a big corporate team building cooking class there for our Christmas party last week and I can honestly say it went amazing. The staff was very accommodating, the food was of the highest quality, and everyone had a really great time. Best beef tenderloin I've ever had! I would definitely recommend it for corporate or private parties. We had a couple of people with dietary restrictions and they even made sure to prepare separate meals for them when they couldn't participate in enjoying the dishes cooked by the team. Very thoughtful.
Excellent soup and sandwiches, cozy atmosphere and pleasant staff. Impressed by the variety of things going on from cooking schooĺ, catering to a nice selection of deli offerings
High prices, small portion, bad food
I ordered through FOODEE and paid 5 dollars to have avocado on my salad (which as an add on is offensive to charge that and i would hope its a WHOLE avocado for that price) they actually forgot it. its on the sticker, just completely forgotten. My salad was close to 24 dollars and didn't come with what was paid for...
My wife and I took the 'Perfectly Seasoned' course. The instruction was fun and informative and meals we prepared were easy to do and tasted amazing. We had a great time and will be looking to try another class soon.
Wonderful! I worked with Steffi to create a fun and interactive afternoon cooking class for 22 guests. Our host Veronica and chef instructor Tessa made sure the event went seamlessly, they were incredibly attentive and friendly to all guests. I would definitely recommend for an engaging and interactive event. Our team cannot wait to host our next event here soon! Thanks so much all :)
This review is for the cooking school. Absolutely amazing afternoon! Learned how to make great food, while having a great time with my wife in a fun, cozy kitchen atmosphere! Highly recommend!
I've never taken the cooking class. The lunch is what this place is known for. It's a great setting with spectacular food. A little pricey if you don't watch it, but great nonetheless.
Best vibe and food for cafe style lunch and breakfast. The baguettes and sandwiches are great, with daily specials that always impress.
A great place for a date night or a family event. During covid, it's been tough to get out and want to be out but a cooking class with your family is great way to try something different. We learned so much, while cooking exceptional food and making new memories that will last a long time. Thanks to all the staff, safety protocols and a friendly Chef we had an amazing time.
Would recommend this place to anyone for breakfast/lunch. The food is exceptional and the staff are friendly. They have very good quality meats, cheeses, and breads. For the quality of food you get, the price is surprisingly (even shockingly) affordable - like 6 dollars for an amazing breakfast sandwich. The coffee's a bit pricey, but good. We didn't have time to do a class here, but the teaching kitchen looked amazing.
Best brunch I’ve ever had....! Good portion size if your a regular human, also..... the coffee was amazing. I should have taken a picture but I devoured it....!
Had a great veggie cooking class. Great vibe, teacher and staff were excellent. Would go back for sure.
Had a wonderful experience with Demo and Dine. We will be back.
Price is steep yes, but it's worth every dollar. The class is about 4 hours long. You have 4 staff members to guide your experience for the evening. Glass of champagne to start, followed by a glad of wine/beer for each course. The schedule will be lesson, cook, eat, lesson, cook, eat etc. Chef was awesome, knowledgeable and engaging. I took the Julia Child's class which I learned so much from. Definitely could not finish all my food but the staff were happy to give me a to go box. Service was definitely to notch. Would not purchase it for myself (spoil myself) but this absolutely makes an amazing gift!

Review for the cafe: food was super delicious and fresh. Chai and mocha latte were perfectly made. Try the Earl grey cookie if they have it. The sitting area for dining is super cute
I have not been to the cooking school however I often use their corporate catering service for bringing in lunches for the executive's meetings. I deal mainly with Taryn and she is AMAZING. They are professional and accommodating and their customer service skills are excellent. The quality of the food is top grade, offering unique flavours and fresh ingredients. I recommend The Dirty Apron without hesitation. - Tiffany
Great class, great instructor, amazing experience. The food was incredible! Everything was prepped and reheated thoroughly ahead of time so everything went super smoothly. …
An amazing culinary cooking experience! I will be back. It blew my mind, i felt like I was on Masterchef. Perfect portions, great quality ingredients, impressive facility. Picky party of 4 left satisfied
Attended the 4-Hour Hands-On. Friendly staff. Well-organized flow. Cooking station suitable for pairs. Beverages offered. Take home apron and recipes. Higher price than competing schools. Walking distance from Expo Line Stadium-Chinatown Station. Metered street parking, or paid parkade.
We participated in the demo & dine course for the Italian food. Pros: Lovely ambiance, location is super convenient, getting a glass of wine with each course is perfect, food was really tasty, the chef giving the demonstration was absolutely amazing and helpful - we did learn a lot despite not doing anything hands on. Cons: I didn't love the family-style service. It's awkward to share food with complete strangers and the portions weren't split evenly so we politely tried to figure out who should get what. We also had a lot of time where we had to make small talk and it was okay for the first little bit, but we were sitting directly across people we weren't exactly in love with, so that kind of disrupted the experience. I have been to demo & dine's before where instead of just having dead air during the meal portion, you can ask questions and the chef will answer them, or the chef prepares the next course while you're eating. I prefer that. For some reason I thought the wine was an actual pairing, but that's my mistake. It would be a very nice option to have though! The entire evening on the whole was really lovely though and definitely deserves 5-stars as the "cons" are my personal preference and I could see us reviewing differently on another visit. The staff were extremely nice and friendly. We can't wait to try out their restaurant/deli and do a little shopping :)
Meh, I tried their chicken sandwich. I can’t say it was that good or that any effort really went into it. It was literally just roasted chicken and sardines on a small baguette. Was actually kindof gross and had lots of grizzly bits in it. Whoever is in the kitchen doesn’t care what they are serving here. And the lemon bar was soggy and more sugar than lemon. This is not what a lemon bar is. All in all, poorly prepared and I will not risk it again. The food is terrible.
Amazing time with awesome people! Definitely coming back! Thanks for an awesome experience chef David!
I went to the DIrty Apron a few months ago with my husband's work and the cooking class was really fun and all the staff were so friendly. I also learned a new recipie, which was fantastic, and actually made it for Christmas dinner last month! I went back for lunch with my daughter right before Christmas and bought a few things at their little store, and the staff were so helpful, and the chef even came out to talk to me when I had a question about a recipe!!
Their food is incredibly tasteful They have a different special plate every day Very friendly staff You can also buy other things there to help on your cooking experiences Definitely recommend going here
The Dirty Apron put on a fabulous virtual cooking class event for our firm. David and the team did an amazing job!
Cozy little hidden gem!
Girlfriend and I took the "On the Bone" class for cooking bone-in meats. I've never done a class like this so didn't know what to expect, but I had a lot of fun cooking and the food we made (and the drinks provided with each course) were pretty much worth the price of admission by itself. The woman teaching (I don't recall her name) was very personable and did a great job explaining the recipes first as well as provide some tips on preparation that weren't strictly part of the instructions in the recipe. Great time and fantastic food - I highly recommend taking a class here if you prefer to cook your own food and do something different while on vacation.
We did a demo and dine dinner focused on seafood (Seafood Three Ways). A wonderful end-to-end experience. Our host and chef was engaging, informative, and, of course, talented. All three entrees were new for us: sablefish, trout, and Arctic char. In this format, you learn how to prepare the details of the dish through a live demonstration, and then the dish is served to you at a communal table with four to six other diners. Chatting with our tablemates was the non-food highlight; it was great to meet new people who also shared a passion for great food. All in all, a fabulous evening and well worth the price of admission. Do it!
My wife and I took the Ocean Fling seafood cooking class. The instructor Tessa was very personable and knowledgeable. The course started with a nice welcome and cocktail. Then the food demonstration, which after we were set on our own to replicate. All three courses turned out so delicious. Looking for the next classes we want to do. All the techniques I learned are going to definitely help with my cooking progression.
Great "On the Bone" carnivore cooking class! We thoroughly enjoyed the pleasant evening of meat!! The instructor, Chef John was informative with a good sense of humour. He provided detailed instructions and all ingredients were prepped ahead of time with little prep time. Dirty Apron provides great quality service and ingredients!! Well done!
Beautiful cafe with exceptional staff and delicious cashew milk!
I wish I could give Dirty Apron MORE than 5 stars we had such a blast!! We attended the New School Vegetarian class and made 3 delicious meals. The teacher and staff were so friendly and created a fun atmosphere. This is the perfect date night! Highly recommend!
I have done the cooking classes, as well as the demo & dine classes. Both are amazing! Always a great experience, wonderful food, and great teachers. Would recommend again, and again!
Great cooking classes
My husband and I had a salmon biscuit and a sausage biscuit with a side of sugar browned smoked bacon. Wow! Super fresh and flavorful. Service was great, too. Everyone seemed happy to be there.
Great lunch spot, nice sandwiches and baguettes, plus you can sign up for one of the cooking classes they offer in the same location.
Great if you wanna pay $11.50 for what's essentially just a fancy Vietnamese sub.
We had a blast with The Dirty Apron taking a Zoom cooking class with our bunch of our co-workers. Super fun with a fantastic Chef who turned all of us into world-class chefs ... Well, maybe not, but we learned some great cooking tips and tricks! Highly recommend The Dirty Apron for a group cooking class! Thanks!
The best bacon ive ever had. Omg sooooo good. I got the avacado toast as well. The bread was so crunchy and good. All the flavours mmmm nom nom nom
Really fun. And the chef was fantastic.
What a great experience. I had no idea that such complex flavors are so easy to assemble. David was awesome. Explaining every step and making it super simple in his breakdown. Highly recommend getting some classes!
An amazing place to learn to cook. They also have great sandwiches!
We did the BC Wine and Dine cookery lesson. It was on December 11 2020, so during COVID times. It was so well organized you have your own table with your cooking partner to eat from and every cooking station is spaced out and we masked up while cooking. It was a really fun experience, John who was the chef instructing us made it very easy to follow, gave some great tips and kept us laughing. It suits all levels of cooking and is a really nice date night experience. Would really recommend this and would love to do it again.
I go to the place every saturday for a brunch with my family. While everywhere else you need to wait for the place, here the place always waits for you. The food is amazing, crative and fresh, with very acceptable prices. The staff is also great - when the food was late just for a few minutes they gave as complimentary salad and cookies for child!
We attended the gourmet vegetarian course this past week and I was absolutely impressed with how amazing our experience was! The woman who greeted us and served the drinks was lovely, the chef was so friendly and knowledgeable and I was blown away that what we made tasted so good! My boyfriend doesn’t know how to cook at all and his dishes came out perfectly. Loved the wine pairing with each course as well. I love cooking and yet felt like I learned so many new things. The space was beautiful, from the dining area to the cooking space- lovely. I have told all my friends about our excellent experience and can’t wait to come back to try another course! 6 stars if I could!
Great food!
Very helpful and funny instructor! Love you Takashi!
Amazing staff who give great service, and professional chefs who cook and serve even better food. Cooking class was a blast. 100% recommend!
Amazing baguette sandwiches. You definitely taste the quality in their ingredients. Great coffee! Definitely make some time to stop over here for a great lunch!
Breakfast sandwich is totally Devine, but heck so is the whole menu
Tessa was an amazing instructor that demonstrated how to prepare and cook each delicious course before we returned to our stations to try to duplicate the recipes. Tessa wanders around and offers help if asked. The ingredients were already portioned out so we just had to do some chopping, mixing, sautéing, etc. After cooking each course we eat it in the dining room accompanied by a glass of wine or beer. The staff clear the tables after each course and wash the dishes. It is an expensive class but worth it when you take everything into consideration. We certainly plan to go again and highly recommend taking a class.
Great time doing the group competition with 25 friends! The food and staff support were outstanding. Lots of laughs and good memories made at DA. Thanks to the DA team and we will be back for sure!
Here’s a perfect word for this place. MEH.
Great experience! the food we cooked was delicious and The Dirty Apron thought about every little detail. It was very professional and we would love to come back again for another course.
My boyfriend and I did the Mamma Mia cooking class and had a blast! As you are watching a demo, staff are setting up the stations for you, so once you’ve finished watching the live demo you jump right into cooking! Once you have finished cooking you head over to a table and eat your food and have some drinks, while staff cleans up your station and prepares you for your second course. They have classes to fit everyone’s dietary needs, and can be modified if needed. I can’t wait for my next class!
I had high expectations of this place and was excited to try their breakfast menu. I ordered avocado on toast which came out in reasonable time, however the toast was hard as was the bitter, scant unripe avocado on top of it. I might make a suggestion to remove this item from the menu should you not recieve ingredients that are in edible form. I shant be returning.
Had a fantastic time during the perfectly seasoned cooking class with Chef Ruth! It was super fun and delicious, and Chef Ruth was an awesome instructor! Highly recommended! =]
My husband and I took the Ocean Potion cooking class last week and we both enjoyed it so much ! It was a perfect date night, with good food, good drinks, good ambiance, and good cooking skills / recipes to take home after. The class was easy to follow , and trust me when I say this, because the both of us can't cook ! In the end, we made SUCHHH restaurant worthy dishes and I can't wait to make the for my friends and family next. When we were there, there were also a group of girls. It seemed like such a fun girl's night out activity too ! I'd love to go back again with my girl friends to try out another menu !
Acceptable.
I went here for a cooking class (Perfectly Seasoned - Exotic flavours from around the world) and it was great! All the recipes were easy to follow, tasted great and left me full. The instructor, Chef Ruth, was great at teaching, patient, and checked up on everyone frequently. You also get a choice of beverage with each course (at least for the class I took). Covid precautions were followed, and everything appeared sanitary.
We attended a charity cooking event on Nov 8 2018. The chefs were gracious, helpful and very, very skilled. We thought the facility was run very professionally and everything was well thought out. We will definitely be back for some cooking classes. Highly recommended!
This was a fantastic experience. I would definitely recommend attending for anyone who can spare the time. Came out with a couple great recipes and a really fun time.
Ordered a gourmet picnic basket with 1 days notice for a birthday picnic with a friend of mine. Dirty Apron absolutely nailed it. For the price of $80.00 they gave great value. It included a full on charcuterie, 2 sandwiches, drinks, 2 desserts, salads, and utensils. The food provided was 5/5 delicious. Their homemade hummus is absolutely out of this world. Dirty Apron made this evening with my friend an success and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a to go picnic bag
Dirty Apron is a great corporate citizen! They have cooked and delivered over 6,000 meals for the poor in Vancouver. Dirty Apron is also a great cooking school. Superb recipes, great instruction and wonderfully equipped kitchen.
I did a cooking class there and learned a ton! Definitely one of my favorite places to eat in Vancouver!
Eating in pre covid was a lot better than their takeout. Their chicken sandwhich is pretty dry.
I been here twice now for Christmas parties and really enjoyed it both times. The staff are extremely helpful and you get just enough cooking work to do to feel engaged without feeling overwhelmed with work. The food turns out perfect each time and the staff do a great job of ensuring the flow of the evening works out well. Great place for parties.
Ordered catering from them for a 20 people event. Really great service, excellent food and very accommodating. People were raving about the sandwiches, which come individually labeled, and the Mediterranean platter. Will definitely be booking them for future events.
What a phenomenal experience at the cooking class in Dirty Apron last Friday night. Chef Tessa's demonstration and instructions were clear, simple and light hearted especially for someone with near zero culinary skills. I couldn't have imagined being able to cook the four amazing dishes from the Roma Italian Small Plates for Two class. Kudos to Tessa and Dirty Apron team. (The best part is they clean your cooking station while you enjoy your dish). Truly an unforgettable experience!
Did the Italian class last night with coworkers! So fun! And the food we made was delicious! I can’t wait to do this again!
Took a cooking class there with my partner. Absolutely amazing experience. I have zero cooking skills and I made fine dining worthy dishes. The classes are a little expensive or I would enroll to a lot more. It is wonderful for date ideas or a gathering with friends.
I have had the opportunity to attend a group cooking class and their Italian course and had a wonderful experience both times. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly, the ingredients are high quality and you leave with a lot of knowledge. I highly recommend taking a class, or getting their cookbook to make their amazing recipes at home.
Awesome food. Just the right size. Not too heavy. And the service was great as well. Nice little spot for lunch with a pleasant atmosphere.
I'd be lying if I said my group and I didn't have fun at this "cooking class," but we all left feeling as if some recipe cards were thrown our way and we just did the "cooking." In other words, very little instruction or "class." Like others have reported, our class divided up the recipes and each pair or trio worked on each one. More disappointingly, the chef (who was very nice and fun) really only facilitated the class and we didn't get to absorb any expert techniques. The food we prepared was great, and I'm glad I have the recipes, but I guess I look at that aspect and feel I could Google some recipes and cook them at home. Again, lack of instruction and knowledge sharing in the kitchen is really what knocked off the stars on this review. If you want to go prepare a meal in somebody else's kitchen (they do all the cleaning, so that's nice!) and bring a bottle of wine, it can be a fun experience. But if your class is like mine, you won't learn much. I should also add that all of the staff was accommodating but felt like they were pushing us to get out soon as if they wanted to head out for the Friday night.
Average - wouldn’t go back again
Food was great but I had the unfortunate displeasure of meeting the owner. He is rude disrespectful and honestly not to smart. It's very clear he is uneducated and his intellectual level is that of Homer Simpson. I actually saw him threaten a person outside. If it wasn't for the owner I would recommend this place to everyone. The staff is very friendly.
Can not thank you enough for our incredible Valentines Dinner. Every bite was amazing. The packaging, presentation and directions made it no fail. Such a fun night! I’m still full!!!!
Fabulous evening. Loved the actual hands on cooking after the demo session. Ate a great meal cooked by me. Ate too much, must remember to take home leftovers next time. The chef made everything look so easy and was super helpful during our cooking experience. Learned a lot, like pasta isn't that hard to make at home. All good things!
Took a cooking class. Was super fun and learned a lot. Will definitely do it again.
The Dirty Apron hosts online cooking class and they are fantastic!
