Working with No Fixed Address Catering begins and ends with a unique excitement. We know No Fixed Address by name and reputation, but the real kicker is what they're able to deliver on the table. Consistently, our guests leave blown away by the level of cuisine they prepare in our scantly-outfitted kitchen. The high quality of their presentation and incredible flavours seem almost bizarre given the circumstances. It’s a new dimension of magic in the culinary realm that we’re absolutely loving.

When I decided to host a party at our studio to celebrate my amazing wife Camille on her birthday, there were a few “must haves” on my list. Surrounding her with as many of her loved ones as our space could accommodate, providing those people with an opportunity to share their love and feelings about her, and treating those beautiful souls to a truly memorable party experience. We, and the vast majority of our guests, are passionate about food, so it was a major priority to ensure that creative, beautiful, and delicious fare was part of the celebration experience. Steve, and his “No Fixed Address” team blew us all away with their talents and service! Far from the standard cocktail/appetizer offerings we are all too familiar with – Steve treated our guests to wave after wave of delightful, balanced, texture rich bites, 12 in all! I never grew tired of watching the eyes of our friends and family “bug out” when they embarked on the next step of the culinary journey Steve had so thoughtfully planned out – it was no surprise that so many asked about NFAC’s contact details by the end of the night ☺. There isn’t space to go through each offering in detail, but to give you a feel for the kind of food Steve creates, I thought I’d highlight our two favourites. Camille still smiles when she describes the “Soy Ginger Cured Red Spring Salmon on Crispy Nori Chip w/ Chili Lime Fraiche Dressing, Asian Pear, and Thai Basil”. I happen to be a duck fiend, so Steve’s “Duck Au Poivre w/ Crispy Triple Cooked Crispy Chunky Chip, Roasted Onion Bechamel w/ Peppercorn Sauce” makes my mouth water as I write this. Beyond incredibly tasty, Steve’s bites are also substantial – no guest left our party hungry! We cannot recommend No Fixed Address Catering highly enough. Steve is clearly passionate about what he does, but his authentic good nature, and desire to please, made the planning process a breeze. He and his team executed their vision beautifully, and no one at our party could stop talking about the food. What more could I ask for? How does a mother organize catering for a wedding where most guests are Foodies, the groom has worked as an executive Chef in Five Star Hotels, and the Bride and Groom live in South Africa??! I started with a Google search of BEST Catering in Vancouver and up Popped NFA. I quickly dialed the number listed and Steve answered (rare these days to have a real person on the line) and I immediately detected a South African Accent, a good sign I hoped!! I met with Steve and his passion for food led to the creation of a unique and creative menu showcasing all the amazing bounty our west Coast has to offer.I was sold !! He made the whole process effortless and the day of the wedding , Steve and his team worked as one efficient body delivering the food to the guests with utmost professionalism.Everyone Raved about how Wonderful the food was, from the appetizers to the the main Dinner service. I kept hearing how "This was by far the best wedding food they had ever had" and " This meal has set the bar very high for any other wedding" I can not Thank Steve and his Team enough for helping make this day a truly spectacular one !!

NFA catered our wedding (which was boat access only!) and did a fantastic job. Steve and his crew made 5 amazing meals for over 200 people and everything ran smoothly and was delicious. I was reluctant to get married in such a remote location and the one condition I made my groom agree to was that NFA had to cater our whole weekend. Definitely one of the highlights of the wedding day was our food and all of our guests commented on how wonderful it was. We had an incredible cocktail hour with a selection of creative and mouthwatering appetizers, followed by a sit down dinner with wild salmon and steak. During dinner, my husband kept telling me the sous-vide steak was the best he has ever had (and he used to live in Paris!). Steve and his team were incredibly flexible and helpful with all of the challenges that come with a remote wedding. I highly recommend NFA for any event – big or small.

Chef Steve does it right. We've been to NFA twice and found it a great way to have a nice dinner and especially a good spot for a small birthday dinner. I would have no problem recommending this spot for dinner or for catering.

Took my family here for duo fathers' day dinner (my dad and my father in-law). My party of 10 had a fantastic time that evening with a 6 course meal. Our favourite dish was the dungeness crab cake with white gazpacho. Both the food and service was great. I'd definite be dining with No Fixed Address again.

I have been to NFA 3 times now, and I am in love with Chef Steve's food. The menu offered something different every single time, and it is impossible to point out just "one favorite dish". They are all amazing, especially the crab cakes, the lamb and the scallops. NFA's atmosphere is great for a perfect evening with close friends or family. My friends and I loved how private you feel sitting in someones' living room, but yet, it feels like you are on a night out. The fact that he offers to share the menu in advance lets you coordinate the perfect wine for each course. What a brilliant business concept. We will be back Steve - in fact, we would be back earlier, if you weren't so booked up. :-) See you soon!

I saw NFA on the Food Network and just had to go! Perfect for small groups and much quieter than a restaurant. For a 6 course meal that will take your taste buds on a journey, it's a great deal! A very talented chef with a very intriguing business... I definitely recommend NFA and will be back!

Hello Steve We just want to extend our sincerest thanks for the superb job you and your staff did in catering our for our Karate World Championships. The lunches prepared for our coaches and VIPS's were outstanding and we received many compliments on the food! The catering for our bbq of over 500 people was so well organized it completely took all the stress off of us as volunteers for the event. The staff were extremely helpful in assisting us with setup and getting organized! We were amazed how they pulled everything together so quickly. I've had the pleasure of eating at NFA on a number of occasions. Chef Steve's creations are not only delicious and beautiful but different every time. My husband and I chose NFA for our wedding because we knew the menu would be amazing and that we could rely on Steve for taking care of everything and wowing our guests. The tacos and thai noodles (served in cute take-out packaging) were especially popular. Steve even prepared a midnight snack for late night partygoers! Highly, highly recommend Steve and NFA!

We made it our paramount goal to ensure we had fabulous food and plenty of it, so people didn't feel the need to leave early to eat. We knew it would be a challenge to achieve with 500 people, and with quite a discerning crowd. Steve's menu was creative and unique; it was filling, and delicious does not even begin to describe it! It's not very often that you go to an event this size and have everyone comment on how great the food was. Nobody left hungry and everyone did say the food was fabulous, so thank you Steve...mission accomplished! Needless to say, we were more than impressed with Steve and his team. We're not sure we want to tell everyone just how talented this man is in case he gets way too busy for our future events!

Outstanding night. Steve catered a company Christmas social dinner for us. From the outset he was very easy to contact and communicate with. He planned the menu and was very accommodating in addressing any dietary restrictions. He also gave great wine matching suggestions. From there he basically took charge of everything including the venue rental. The food and service was outstanding and very innovative in the combination of ingredients. Steve took time to introduce each dish to the attendees but was brief and to the point. I would recommend Steve to anyone who wants a meal that is more than just food, but an experience. Well done!

I first tasted Steve’s unique cuisine at a wedding and knew immediately that this was on a completely different scale than any of the catered food I’d experienced in Vancouver. I wouldn’t know where to begin to describe it, it’s simply gastronomy taken to the genius level. Unpredictable combinations of food are bundled artistically to create different taste and sensory sensations in the mouth, in a way that makes you want to defer swallowing. I tried him out on a dinner party for 14 and continued to be extremely impressed. My next event was for 80 people, and I was delighted to discover that he put the same amount of exacting care into the quality of food and service that he did for 14. Recently, Steve catered my fundraiser for 325 people. I was concerned that there would be enough food and that all our guests would be equally attended to. Steve brought a small army with him to ensure every attendee would leave full and satisfied. His servers were all attractive, personable and well-dressed, and seemed hand-picked to present food of this high caliber. Our guests raved about the food in our post-event survey and listed it as one of the top favourite aspects of the evening. I’m hesitant to recommend Steve as I would like to ensure he continues to be available for all my future events, but ultimately, Steve deserves to be recognized as one of, if not the top caterer in town.

Chef Steve and NFA have catered our summer get together for 60-80 friends and colleagues every year now for 5 years. The guests always are impressed by the artistic, creative, but above all absolutely delicious appetizers. His take on Moroccan Asian fusion is wonderful.Also, they have the best ever fish tacos and bread pudding. Vegan options were also available which was very much appreciated.

Steve has a very personal connection with his clients, a hands on approach, shows great respect for high quality ingredients, and it's clear to see his team is well motivated, passionate and they have a great energy about them. Canapé flavours were spot on with a slight umami emphasis. Great people, great food.
