Awesome service! Next day delivery in a time when it feels almost impossible to get groceries safely or quickly. A good selection of protein and produce and some key dairy and pantry items. The price was reasonable and when the food arrived it was so fresh and looks delicious! Very happy with this service at a time when we really need it.

As a wedding planner for Koral Lane Events, I am constantly working along side many catering vendors on a weekly base. And after this glamour wedding this past weekend, I can confidently say that Encore Catering has by far surpassed them all. They paid meticulous attention to detail from ensuring that all guest with dietary needs and allergies where well taken care of while at the same time producing plates that looked like pieces of art. And not only did the food look good, it set everyone’s taste buds on fire. All the guests had no words, because they were too busy licking their plates and anticipating the next course. Our original caterer wedding caterer backed out 4 days before our wedding day. Within a couple of hours of sending Encore Catering an email, David S reached out to me saying they could cater our wedding. David was a pleasure to work with, he took the time to ask questions to ensure everything was exactly how we wanted it, and he came through with an amazing job. I can’t imagine how much effort it took to get everything organized for us in such a short time, but with David and Shiras’ amazing organization, hustle and determination, they gave us the wedding we have always wanted. We hired Encore to cater our outdoor wedding in the country. We knew this would be a difficult task for any catering company - providing good quality food, cooked outside in a tent, to 120 people. But not for Encore. The food was the impeccable. Several of our guests commented that it was not only the best wedding food, but the best steak they'd ever had. The vegetarians were also impressed by the quality of the food. The staff that Encore brought with them were simply the best I'd ever seen. Professional, but incredibly personable and accommodating, they made the night flawless. I would highly, highly recommend Encore and their amazing food and staff.

Encore Catering is the top catering service in Toronto. Mother Erth was fortunate to have Encore Catering for our first editorial fashion photoshoot. They brought more than we could imagine, and kept everyone happy and full during our long day. Breakfast consisted of multiple platters of delicious pastries, and fresh fruit. We also had two huge bowls of various hand cut chips to snack on throughout the day. For lunch, we had five different types of sandwiches to choose from, ranging from bbq chicken to egg salad to a classic ham & cheese. Finally, for dessert we were treated to a beautiful platter full of various mini cakes and pastries. On top of all that amazing food, they were extremely accommodating to our requests of the catering being 100% eco-friendly. They delivered on glass platters, along with reusable serving spoons/thongs, and provided recyclable cutlery and plates for everyone to use. Encore Catering was extremely generous and very communicative throughout the entire process, and they delivered everything on time with no issues! 10 star service and food and we will definitely will be reaching out to them for future events. We 100% recommend them to all with confidence!

Very disappointed in what was to have been a special birthday celebration. It seems we were deemed second class as a wedding in the Bridal Path area on the previous day meant resources for our event were secondary. Food was mediocre and staff were exhausted from the previous day. I do not recommend.

My wife Arlene and I were privileged to host an engagement party for our Son and his fiancé in the party room of our condo on Saturday October 21. We had 60 people. Fortunately, we were referred to Encore Catering. They did a fantastic job-could not have been better! The food was fantastic, and they had a superb crew at the event to co-ordinate, prepare and serve the food. We cannot imagine anybody doing a better job! We would certainly use them again if we have another event, and would recommend them wholeheartedly to anyone looking for a first class catering organization.

Fantastic catering company! I called a bunch of places such a food dudes, toben by design and others but encore was the best! They were quick to respond, they provided me with a quote with various options and helped me sort out all of the necessary rentals for my backyard wedding. Encore catered my wedding and I could not be more happy with them. The apps were delicious and all my guest loved them. We served fish, meat and a vegan option for our meal course. The vegan option was a stuffed pepper on a bed of greens, the guest who order that was pleased with how it turned out. The fish and steak were also done deliciously. Encore catered our daughter's and son in laws magnificent tented wedding at an outdoor venue on Aug 29/2021. They are extremely professional, competent, and very easy to work with. We are still receiving rave reviews about the quality of the appetizers, main dishes and extras throughout the night. The portions were beyond and all of our guests were totally satisfied. We were overwhelmed with calls, texts and emails from our guests about the quality of everything mentioned above. We were required to provide kosher food for certain of our guests and they too were extremely satisfied. If you are planning a large event, David Silber and his wonderful staff will provide you with a worry free event of the highest quality. We feel that we received excellent value. We highly recommend Encore and would utilize their services again should we be fortunate enough to make another function.

Manager/server wasn't wearing a mask (November 15 2020). I emailed them to notify the owner and nobody responded to me. Food was ok. The manager asked us not to sit at the 4 person table we sat down at (when we were the only two in the restaurant)... I asked the server 'shouldn't you be wearing a mask?' and his response was 'you should be too' when I was sitting at the table. He was preparing food in the kitchen without a mask as well.

I am an event planner and I used Encore to cater a clients corporate party hosted at their house. From the start Cary and Vanessa were wonderful to work with as we planned the menu for the evening and really executed the vision we had in mind for the food. The evening was amazing and everyone raved about how good the food was. The chefs did a great job with the hors d'oeuvres and mains. The wait staff and bartender were very friendly and did a great job as well. All aspects of the evening went very smoothly. Used encore catering to help us prepare 50 boxed meals for a wedding ceremony. It was soo last minute. I connected with Stacey on Thursday and she sent me a quote within minutes and the order was put through for Saturday. Because of covid we couldn’t invite all our guests to our Wedding reception dinner so instead because we had our wedding ceremony at a church (that allowed us to have 50 guests) we had encore catering setup a table right outside the church and have their boxed meals prepared on that table so guests could just come out and pick up their food! All of our guests were so impressed with the packaging of the food and it also surprised them that we even offered them food. The box included a sandwich, salad and colossal cookie. I’ve gotten a comment from a friend that he’s never had such an amazing cookie in a while haha! The setup that your worker did on the day of made it so easy for us! Stacey also personalized our menus by adding our names to and that made It even extra special!! The compliments we received from my guests were all positive. We are sooo happy and thank you again!! My experience with Encore Catering was fantastic! Encore helped cater a small event where I was hosting two birthday parties and a 45th anniversary at the same time for my family. Due to the milestone event, I wanted to surprise everyone with professional catering and Encore did not miss the mark! Stacey from Encore was very gracious in helping me with the best menu and making accommodations as well for package options. On the day of, delivery was right on time and very easy to manage. Set up of my buffet style dinner was also very easy, everything was labelled clearly for setup and we were able to dig in within 15 minutes. I also asked for a hot delivery as I did not want to spend time heating the food, and the food arrived ready to eat and the temperature for everything was perfect. Lastly, the food was excellent! There was not a single menu item that did not get a compliment and the portions were fantastic as well - we had plenty of leftovers and it made me happy to think that I got more food than expected for my budget. All in all, Encore is a fantastic catering company to work with and I know I will be going back to them for more events in the future.

Details of our event were seamlessly passed from one staff to another. Everyone seemed to be on the same page. I feel terrible for this review but it must be said. the catering today was the worst I have ever seen. I attend over 20 events a year. Never had I seen something like this. The female employee appeared to be intoxicated or something very wrong with her. Many of the guests offered to help her because they worried she was going to fall or drop something. She was the strangest person. The caterer did not have enought table cloths to cover the tables and they have been there many times before. The food was ok. So I will give that a 3 star out of 5. At the end if the night she asked the event organizer for a can of vodka drink to which she hammered down out back. She Then asked for a ride to her car because the employer was not picking her up or the equipment. We had to drive her to aldergrove from matsqui village because the caterer would not get her even after we called. Had to leave all her stuff out on the curb until she returned. It was really too bad. Where is the accountability? How is this possible to happen?

Great service and great food. We used Encore Catering for our office Holiday Party. The food order arrived exactly on time, it was hot, well cooked and well presented. The wine chicken breast was absolutely everyone's favorite, cooked perfectly, thick, moist and full of flavor. We used Encore to cater a dinner party. The bartender and waitress were great - which is the only reason I give this company a Good rating and not a Poor-Fair. The chef arrived and promptly spilled the meat gravy all over the front hall and we gave him a bottle of our red wine in order to make more. During dinner, he was in and out of the house to smoke and he left early. The food was mediocre. The beef from the carving station was fatty, the grilled vegetables, soggy. The big crate of dishes Encore left has been in our front hall for a week and is now being moved to the garage.

Feeling very disappointed. Ordered the Lamb Shank, Souvlaki ( Lamb ) Dinner, Tuxedo Cake and Cheesecake. Pretty much everything tasted very bland. The Lamb was very dry. We were looking forward to trying out El Greco but at this point we won't be ordering again.

We really wanted to try this place as it was highly recommended. Prices were reasonable, pick up order was quick. The quality of food on the other hand was disappointing. Potato’s were a pile of mushy soup, the rice was a texture I would compare to soggy lentils. Chicken was good and cooked perfectly. Very small portions of tzatziki dip. I try and support all local businesses but with this quality it makes it difficult.

I had heard of Encore but had never used them nor did any of my friends, However my son suggested to me that I give them a call as he had known David Silber and knew that he and his dad ran this company. So I called and from start to finished it was fantastic. It started when Cary came to my home to see what the best way to set up and then I began to deal with Melanie . She was unbelievable. I changed the menu a few of times and the budget was a concern. She was always so pleasant throughout all my changes. The day came for the actual event. A chef arrived to arrange the foods. She was also amazing, so creative with food arrangement and also really accommodating as there were some special requests for dietary nedss.. Chairman Mills was the rental providers also put in place by Encore and that worked out perfectly. It was a great experience and I would use Encore again (in a heartbeat)and recommend them to all my friends

Ordered Christmas dinner for the family, hoping we'd be able to get together to enjoy it. Covid had other plans, forcing us to stay home and Zoom. Encore pivoted so beautifully you'd think they were ballet dancers; they broke up the order and delivered meals to three separate families in three different locations. Basically this is a catering company through the week, that opens up their restaurant for a buffet Sunday brunch. Custom omelets and crepes made to order in front of your eyes.... Thought we would support a local business and we had not tried this place. Ordered two chicken souvlaki dinners and a couple sides ( pita and tazatki). Some parts of our dinners were inedible. The potato’s had the texture as if they had been made days ago then thrown on the grill to heat up- then they were burn. The rice was just ok, but again like made the day before. We picked up dinner on a Saturday night at 630. We will not be coming back, sad as we like to support our local businesses.

I tried Encore Catering's food and service when I was at the Toronto Catering Showcase on Sunday, October 16th, 2016. Both their food and service was really lovely. They had a lady standing by the booth to introduce us what they were servicing to the crowd which not many of the other caterers were doing. Food included were the Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl, Crisp Wonton Bolso and Veggie Taco. Both the Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl & Crisp Wonton Bolso was so so good! I didn't try the Veggie Taco, so I can't say much about that.

Everything was immaculately packaged with easy instructions to reheat. Loved the ease of ordering and then we received text messages the day of delivery giving us a one hour window in which the food would come. This is an amazing service. 10/10. Individually catered New Years Party with Friends We had a Zoom New Years Party with friends catered by Encore. Encore delivered our menu to each of our homes consisting of Cesar salad , pasta appetizer, lamb/potatoes/veggies as a main with a delicious pecan torte dessert. The menu required preheating with instructions that were clear. It was a fantastic way for all of us to enjoy a friends zoom get together party, and we all felt that this was a great way to enjoy ourselves given the new reality. We called Encore for a last minute (like 13 days from when I called!!) engagement party for my son and his fiancee. They helped us with the perfect menu for my daughter-in-law to be for whom we wanted many gluten-free choices. Then less than 48 hours before our event, the capacity limits were reduced to 10 indoors!! Tom, Connie and Felicia arrived, set everything up, rolled with the punches to spread the food out over our four shifts of ten or less guests. They packed up food for guests who didn't want to take their masks off, Tom made a special salad for my daughter who is on the picky side. Working with their team, they are reliable, very helpful, unique and accommodating. I personally worked with Magali who coordinated all of the transactions and she made the entire process seamless. She would constantly update our food menu so I could see different pricing options and she adhered to both my budget and dietary restrictions. Even last minute, I notified them that I needed an oven rental and they were patient and understanding and provided me with exceptional service. My sons bar mitzvah was catered at the Warehouse Event Venue. What a treat.... the food quality was out of this world. The stations and appetizers being passed around were creative and impressive to say the least. The filet was served to our 200 guests with perfection and the family style sides on the table were incredible. Many or our guests asked for seconds of our Kim chi fries, or Brussels sprouts. Dessert blew us away! They created margarita popsicles for the adults to be passed out on the dance floor. We had stations set up which included chiro ice cream sandwiches and cookie dough. We hosted a Wedding Rehearsal Dinner at our home for 18 people. The staff began by setting the tables beautifully. The servers were pleasant, unobtrusive and attentive, and the chef was great, explaining the dishes to our guests, with pride. I ended up ordering my produce from there and although it was more expensive than the grocery store, it was well worth it as it was very fresh and lasted much longer in the fridge.
