Edge Catering is the best! Gemma was very prompt in responding to me and providing me updates along the way, as well as professional in dealing with hiccups along the way. We worked together to create a custom menu, and for that I am so thankful. The staff on the day of the event were extremely professional, kind, and hospitable. We even had one of the owners personally serve myself and my husband! I would recommend Edge Catering to anybody looking to hire food services. The dessert table was so delicious, I even tried asking for the recipe :) (it's a secret though, no luck). I cannot sing enough amazing praises about this company. HIRE THEM!

I cannot speak highly enough about our experience with Edge Catering. We approached Judy only weeks before a 200+ person fundraiser and she had us covered. She completely understood the vision that we had for the event and made a beautiful menu for us while considering our limited budget. We had lots of changes (things to add) to what we were initially looking to have and Judy was so wonderful to deal with around that. She was super responsive and it felt like she was just as invested in our event as we were. On event day, everything went smoothly and I'm sure that can be attributed to how well Judy runs her team. Many of our guests commented that the food was "first class". I look forward to working with Judy again for future events.

For many years, Judy and her team at Edge Catering have been catering our Summer & Festive Client Appreciation events we host for our tenants, numbering 400+ guests. The quality of food and professional service are just a few of the reasons that we have stayed with Edge over the years. They coordinate everything from the tents and tables to the actual setup/flow of the event. Not only are the events seamless with deliciously prepared foods that reflect our chosen themes each year, it is extremely helpful for us as an organization to rely on their consistency and competency as a trusted caterer. No matter how busy these events are, the team always have smiles on their faces and are an absolute pleasure to work with. We look forward to next year already...

We recently collaborated on an event which was held outside, under tents, in the pouring rain... The incredible team at Edge (Ardeth, Sam, Sarah, Halina, and Vivian) not only worked with us to provide an impeccable guest experience, but they also helped our team ensure the glassware stayed dry until service, items were stored safely, and shared their prep space with unused event future!! The Edge team is the epitome of a can-do attitude which is why we love them so much. We understand not everything goes smoothly on event day and the hallmark of a great team is their ability to recognize a problem needs to be addressed and is right there with you, figuring out a solution. My husband and I worked with Judy and the team at Edge Catering for our May 2017 wedding. From our initial meeting with Judy to the end of our reception, our experience with Edge was phenomenal. My husband and I came in with a strict budget that we really wanted to stay within and Judy took so much care in making sure our menu would stay within budget. Judy took so much care in helping us get a mostly vegetarian menu together, that was truly representative of the food my husband and I love. We had an awesome tasting at the Edge cafe, where we could fine tune our menu and address any allergy concerns we had for our guests. On the day of, the staff and Judy were exceptional in their execution of the day. My wine glass was never empty and boy, was the food delicious! We had so many compliments on our food and certainly have the Edge team to thank for that! Beyond that, we barely had any leftovers. They perfectly anticipated how much food we needed for our wedding of 100 guests. This made us feel great, especially considering our budget concerns. Our only complaint is that we didn't get to eat as much of the food as we wish we could have! Thank you Judy for being part of our special day!

Edge Catering is outstanding! Choosing Gemma and her incredible staff for our wedding and -day-after-wedding-brunch catering was the best decision we made and couldn't be happier about it. During the planning phase, Gemma was PASSIONATE, UNDERSTANDING, and RESPONSIVE. We were planning our wedding remotely from the east coast, so we ended up emailing Gemma constantly and she was always replying in a timely manner with great patience regarding our questions and change of minds and plans. When I flew in to check our venue, Gemma accompanied me and this made the planning and coordination much easier. She put together for us a great menu for both events. On the big day, they were professional, punctual and really paid attention to guests expectations. the FOOD WAS AMAZING. everything was fresh. the appetizers and meals were exotic yet simple and delicious. we got so many compliments from our guests about the food and about the service they provided. many of our guests said this was the best food ever. Gemma and her staff were very accommodating and they made our special day, perfect. We really enjoyed working with them and can't recommend them enough. Thank you, Gemma!

The Edge Catering team is truly amazing. They are all so friendly and easy to work with and have fantastic communication which makes planning with them really simple. Their Chef and his team are seriously culinary geniuses and every plate they put in front of someone looks and tastes amazing. Typically a very rich taste pallet and always colourful. I would highly recommend them to any couple looking for a true culinary experience on their wedding day (or any event for that matter).

After several tastings with multiple caterers, Gemma and Chef Jasmin won us over by preparing a highly customized, beautifully plated 4-course dinner that really took into consideration our favourite ingredients and flavours. Gemma was super detailed oriented, making lots of notes during our tasting and taking our ideas and running with them. They created custom his&her cocktails decorated with our favourite symbols and developed a his&her dessert duo when my husband and I couldn't agree on one. The Edge team was super accommodating to menu adjustments & was able to perfectly handle our guest list increase from 50 to 100 a few weeks before the wedding. At the wedding, their teams were so kind and ON TOP OF THEIR GAME - a glass was never empty! I heard many accolades from our guests about the impeccable service as well as the amazing bartending! To date, Chef Jasmin's Tandoori Fried Chicken with Szechuan Gnocchi creation is one of me (Chinese) and my husband's (Indian) favourite things we've eaten. We might just have to call up Edge and ask for a recreation of our wedding meal one day!

Just add the most delicious wrap ever - the cauliflower. It came with a hand made chutney. So fresh and tasty! That's enough for anyone to turn vegan! Service was excellent. I came out with a pot of jam and a lemon bar as well. Nice to see new places popping up in the hood like that during those very challenging times.

We needed 50 charcuterie lunch boxes for our virtual AGM which was held on November 20. The team at Edge Catering pulled it off with flying colours! The meals were beautiful to look at and the ingredients were fresh and delicious! Special dietary requirements were looked after and frozen options were prepared to ship across Canada. Edge catering came highly recommended and even then exceeded our expectations! Due to the pandemic our daughter’s wedding was moved to our backyard, 6 weeks before the wedding. As my daughter was living out of town, my husband and I reached out to Edge Catering to see if they could do the event. From the initial phone call, we knew we were in good hands and could relax - we had immediate confidence in them. Judy and Gemma met us at our house to go over the plans. I was impressed with their conscientiousness and desire to understand and deliver on our daughter’s vision of the perfect day. The menu, the design of the cake, the place settings and the set-up all led to the perfect atmosphere. They even organized the rentals which was a huge relief. The day couldn’t have gone better. Judy, Gemma and the team arrived early and got to work. The set up was beautiful. We had many complements on the delicious food that was served seamlessly by the team of helpers, all while adhering to COVID-19 safety protocols. They helped us stay on schedule, from sitting down to dinner to cutting the cake, while our charismatic bartender kept the crowd happy. We can’t wait for our next event!

Excellent breakfast sandwiches and coffee. I like to stop here before work on weekdays and grab something to eat before my day. The only thing that I'd have to say that's a bit negative is they aren't open weekends. I work Tuesday to Saturday so it would be nice if they opened least one day of the weekend. Other then that. Nice place.

I ordered cookie decorating boxes for our whole company and Edge Catering really delivered. We had a complicated order for 100 employees who live across the province and the Edge team was able to get them all delivered in time for our holiday party. The Edge team worked with us to create the boxes we desired, including customizations such as adaptations for various allergies, and the addition of a small champagne bottle for each box, and a personal card in each. The boxes were beautifully presented and working with the Edge team was simple and straightforward. Couldn't be happier with the result!

We chose Edge Catering for our wedding. Judy and her team were absolutely fantastic. We looked at a lot of caterers in Vancouver, comparing menus and overall costs. We ultimately chose Edge because they were the only team that we felt were able to take our ideas and vision and turn it into something that would work for the space as well as our budget. Judy was very genuine and unlike most owners of a large catering business, she was hands on the entire time. Through the planning and on our wedding day, we felt like the Edge team put our wishes first and really made the day special for us and for our guests. We did a plated menu for 95 guests and dinner was served seamlessly and was enjoyed but everyone. Above and beyond the meal, the little special touches of lemonade when guests arrived and watermelon amuse bouche for every guest as when they sat down, really added to the experience. Edge catering did my wedding at the end of August. Judy and Gemma were so easy to work with and really helped us out during all the safety precautions that COVID 19 brought. They were so flexible and adapted our menu a few times as we changed our minds. We got a bunch of compliments on our wedding food (especially the butternut squash ravioli and scallop -yum!) The service on the day of the wedding was amazing. Again, because of the safety precautions, we needed servers to hand out the meals and pour the wine. They were all great and so friendly! We have used Edge Catering a few times now and each time has been a fantastic experience. They catered an event for us - the food was creative and delicious! We have ordered take out and our dinners were healthy and delicious! We just ordered 3 Thanksgiving meals, 2 as gifts and 1 vegetarian for ourselves. I don't know about the catering but their van driver is unnecessarily aggressive, impatient and rude when driving through downtown from what I saw over about six blocks today. Not a good advertisement for the company.

This team is amazing. The best. They came recommended by our elopement planner, and we felt heard and taken care of from the first email from Gemma. We wanted to host an intimate dinner for 9 on the night of our elopement at our Airbnb. Our only request to Gemma was that the dinner incorporate aspects of Middle Eastern and East Asian cultures to reflect our heritages. We were blown away by the creative custom menu that the chef put together for us! The genuine love and care that this team put into making our elopement dinner a memorable experience for us were palpable. Everyone went over and above for us, from Chef Jasmin’s drool-worthy creations to our server Steven’s attentive care and Gemma’s detailed and timely communications. Everyone was blown away by the quality and creativity of the meal. We’re so grateful to this team and can’t thank them enough for taking such good care of us. I’m attaching photos here of some of the courses, but trust me- they taste even better than they look.

Edge Catering is incredible! The attention to detail is so amazing and the individual plates were a hit with the guests. During COVID, and working in a hospital, following rules and regulations are key. Judy and her team are able to put together amazing little plates that are individually packaged with everyone the guest needs, right down to a moist towlette to finish! Thank you Judy, for always taking such great care of us. I never worry about the quality we will receive when ordering from you, even though sometimes we have some pretty specific requests!
