This was my 2nd time going to their shop in Marpole. I ordered a beyond meat bolognese. First of all it was way too pricey for the kind of quality. It did not taste worth the price and the pasta was uncooked and not hot enough to be edible I will not go here again. I think the quality of food is really not worth the price they want people to pay.

Drew Cooks Catering recently catered my film shoot on November 09th. As a producer, The most important thing you do on set is feed your crew! It's quite a long day and everyone needs to eat healthy to maintain a great flow and to keep the energy up. My crew could not stop talking about how delicious your platters were. Drew's Catering was our clear choice for our wedding. We selected our short list of caterers based on menu options, reviews, and vendor recommendations. Drew's was a clear winner based on their reputation, fresh and local menu options, and service. We decided to go with family style for our wedding as we had about 100 people and wanted the day to be intimate. Drew's helped us understand the best menu options for our budget and provided clear recommendations for food and service. For our tasting meal, Drew prepared all of our food and was flexible with our modifications. Drew knew how important having a local/west coast centric menu was and worked with the UBC farm to source a lot of the vegetables for our wedding day. The food was fresh, delicious, and the servers did an amazing job. All of our guests commended the service staff and raved about the food. Highly recommend choosing Drew's for any event!

Drew Cooks provides catering at our offices weekly for staff anywhere from 40-80 people. Since we started using them the positive feedback from staff has been endless. Each week there are completely different food choices, which is a great change from the basic sandwiches and pizza staff was use to having. The food is absolutely DELICIOUS and I literally have to fight the staff off to make sure everyone gets something to eat before the requests for seconds and thirds start. I love that they use so many local ingredients, and the vegetarian options provided have blown away all of our basic expectations of boring salads. All employees of Drew Cooks are incredible professional and friendly and really respect our office environment. A girlfriend of mine had suggested Drew Cooks because I was looking for a catering company for my wedding and was on a budget. I met with their Director of Catering Operations a few times (he even came to our home, which was nice and comfortable) so we could review requirements. I ended up having to push my wedding date out by an entire year and was worried that might be an issue and it totally was not. They were still more than happy to be part of our special day. One thing that really concerned me was the fact that I wanted a completely customized menu. I didn't want the standard because I was having a plated, Italian style menu and needed to food to be first class and super delicious. The menu that Drew helped us finalized was fantastic. We had 4 courses, a salad, soup, veal and halibut. If there was one thing that frustrated me on my wedding day, was the fact that my dress was tight and I couldn't pig out on the food as I wanted to because it was THAT good! The fact that they also worked with me on my budget was also a bonus. It's been a few months since I got married and when people bring up my wedding, one of the first things they bring up is how awesome the food was. I could not have been more pleased. The serving staff was very attentive and professional, the bar tender was great, and the food was awesome. Considering most of the people attending our wedding are Italian and based on how much everyone loved the food - I truly feel Drew Cooks hit the mark. I would absolutely recommend them in confidence and know you're going to have fabulous food, no matter what they're serving you. All I can say to them is THANK YOU! You were great to work with and your food was awesome :-) :-)

When I first started approaching caterers for my wedding, it was a bit overwhelming, but I knew instantly I wanted to work with Drew Cooks! after speaking with Gordon (the previous Director of Catering Operations, who has since moved on). I had to revise my quote requirements many times from the initial meeting, and never once did the team at Drew Cooks! make me feel like a pain. I went with Drew's Catering for my sister's baby shower after researching around and have only the best things to say about them. This was my first time using caterer and they were so accommodating from the beginning to the end, it made my experience a memorable one. I wanted to up the event so we had the chef and server onsite for the bbq and they were professional the whole time. We had the event in early June and it was chilly and windy. Although Drew's provided chaffers, the food didn't stay hot for long especially for those guests arriving at different times. The one thing that stood out about the chef and server was that they were constantly informing our guests that they would be happy to warm up their food on the grill. The server even went above and beyond by helping us take group photos. It was evident to me that they took a lot of pride in their work. Having the chef and server there at my sister's baby shower took a lot of the work off my shoulders and I even had time to mingle with the guests. As for the food, it was amazing! Our guests went back to for seconds and thirds and we still had plenty of food left over. We had to pack food for our guests to take home. I would use Drew's Catering again and highly recommend their services to others. Thank you to the team at Drew's for helping make my sister's baby shower a memorable day for all of us.

The take out window is very good, soups are fantastic. Unfortunately all but one of the times I have gone, the staff didn't know what the ingredients were for the soup of the day/daily specials. So just be careful if you are Vegetarian/Vegan or have allergies. I was told a soup was vegetarian once and it turned out to have Salmon in it. Other than that everything is very good, unfortunately not knowing whats in the specials almost every time is a bit of a drag.

We used Drew's catering for our wedding, and wow did they ever do an incredible job! From the beginning they (Anna) were quick to respond to emails. Our tasting was very professional yet personal, and they were flexible in making the menu exactly what we wanted. We had a few personal touches from the outside (doughnuts, a punch during cocktail hour) and they were wonderful in supporting us to pull it off! The service on the day was excellent, and the bartender kept people's drinks full all night. Our guests have reached out to tell us how much they loved the food. I honestly can't recommend these guys enough, and will be quick to use them for any catering we need in the future! :)

I used Drew Cooks! to cater the bridal shower that I hosted in Vancouver. (I'm from Edmonton.) The food was fabulous, the prices reasonable, and the company made it very easy to organize from afar. Gordon, the event coordinator for the company, was excellent with his suggestions and so efficient with communication. Matthew, who did the delivery for us, was also excellent (prompt and so nice). Overall, it was an excellent experience. I'm very thankful they made my life easy while I was in Vancouver. Everyone who lives in Vancouver (at the party) knows who catered our food. I do not hesitate to recommend them to anyone, and will definitely use them again if I need any catering done in Vancouver.

Our experience with Drew's was completely positive from the first day we contacted them to the completion of our event on September 15, 2018. Through the whole process I was always at ease with their suggestions and willingness to find solutions for my every concern. They even went overboard to modify recipes to make them suitable for our guests who had food allergies. Anna Romanova worked with us from day one, and was very attentive to important details that I would never have thought of, and she continually reminded me of the important things we had to decide on and do in preparation (a great comfort to me to have a professional doing the thinking). The 'tasting' was impressive and provided us with full portions of the possible menu. The amount of food was so generous we had leftovers to take home and enjoy a second day. The full staff was professional in every way. The chef, bartenders and servers were attentive polite and warm toward our guests. We were all (135+) able to enjoy the party without any worries because everything was being handled perfectly. The food was everything we had expected from the impressive 'tasting' which included all the best of "BC fresh farm/sea to table' unique innovative dishes that were prepared to perfection. The feedback from our guests was 100% positive. Thank you Drew's Catering and Events for bending over backwards to make the reception all that we had hoped for. Oh, and by the way, the cleanup was spectacular and seamless...what a welcomed relief for me that to the end I felt well taken care of :)

Drew's catering used to be okay back when my company first ordered from them. Now it's mediocre at best and I found a fly in my dish. Didn't say anything because I didn't want to look bad in front of my boss. They should really focus on making their food cleaner than social media and fancy website. Seriously don't recommend.

I used Drew Cooks for a catered dinner for my sister's bachelorette party last weekend. Todd and Theresa showed up at a house we rented and took complete control of the kitchen. Us ladies were able to enjoy our other bachelorette festivites while they cooked- we wouldn't even have known they were there. They took care of absolutely everything. The food ...wow...it was honestly delicious- each course! I also loved how i was able to pick exactly the foods my sister loves and they incorporated it into this creative and delicious 4 course meal. Theresa served us wine, the food, and took away plates etc. Todd intereacted with us perfectly when needed. I honestly would not have changed anything. And, everything was cleaned up when they left! No mess at all. My sister told me how much of the treat the dinner was! I was truly impressed. I will definitely recommend or use Drew Cooks again in a heart beat!

Menorah at Drew's was so helpful and communicative with the planning and execution of my husband's 50th birthday. We choose Drew's Southern BBQ menu and our guests loved it! The pulled pork was incredible and the chicken was an enormous hit with everyone. Menorah was happy to swap in 8 veggie burgers for our guests and to provide 3 gluten free desserts. The desserts were also varied and delicious. And the quantities were very generous, too. Pickups and drop offs were right on time and the staff were fast and courteous. Our guests had only positive feedback and said it was the best food they ever had at a wedding and also that the beef was mouth watering good. I would give zero stars if I could. We had hired them for our wedding in 2020 but then covid hit. We decided to reschedule, so technically they are supposed to cater to our wedding this year in July but we cannot contact them. They don't respond to emails, they don't pick up the phone. We never got our deposit back.

I used them for my New Years Eve Wedding and they were amazing. I dealt with Angie who was so professional and helpful. The food was some of the best food we've ever tasted. And Remy was so helpful and wonderful. I'd use them again in a heartbeat and they are honestly so reasonable.
