We had a wedding through Foodlums this summer and while the food was good, and the service from the wonderful female chef on site was phenomenal, Chef Tim was unprofessional in dealing via e-mail with my fiancee, and rude to her at times. While we would be willing to recommend this company on its food, Chef Tim's professionalism and customer service clouded our experience as a whole.

Talk about a talented, class act Bonne Bouche Catering is. Christine and her team of chefs and servers were absolutely amazing. The buffet dinner was delicious and people loved the mashtini bar!! Christine even thoughtfully put plates of dinner aside for me and my new hubby ensuring we ate during all the excitement! They were super organized, friendly and made the catering experience and our wedding such a fantastic one. It was also all done within our budget. I can't say enough about how great they are. Thanks Christine and team for helping to make our wedding absolutely perfect!!! :)

Very unprofessional to deal with. When I was planning an event, requesting quotes from a number of caterers, Foodlums was fine to work with until we asked for a revised quote that included less then the original ask. I was a student at the time and the way I was treated was not okay. We now go with Deli City. They are always great to work with. Tim, the quote was for UBC and the event was Destination UBC. We even had someone come down and chat with you. I politely responded to your rude email back saying that I was a student, hired for this event, and had no control over who the contract went to in the end. Your email was forwarded onto other members of the UBC community. I hope that this rings a bell.

We used Foodlums for our convention lunch in 2015 and I attended a team building cooking lesson there last year with colleagues. The food was amazing both times and Tim was so professional and great to work with. My colleagues and I still use the recipes Tim gave us from our lesson. I recommend them to others all the time and look forward to the next time I can use them or attend an event they are catering.

We worked with Christine in planning our August 2021 (originally 2020) Kelowna wedding. She went above and beyond to reassure us through the ups and downs, planning and re-planning of our big (smaller) day! She is a full package deal: supplies all the tableware, setup/takedown, her team serves during cocktail hour AND dinner service, AND they pack away the leftovers in provided storage containers! Wonderful. Delicious Food. No Hassle at all. We worked with Christine the owner and head chef at Bonne Bouche and SHE WAS AMAZING. Planning a wedding in Kelowna, while we live out of town, I thought was going to be a headache. I communicated with Christine via email / phone calls and she answered and got back to me in a timely manner. She made the whole planning so easy that I was never a 'bridezilla'. The food was SO SO SO GOOD. Our guest kept raving about how delicious the food was - SCALLOP POTATOES are a MUST. The individuals working on our wedding day kept checking in on us to make sure that we were enjoying our food and asking if we needed anything else throughout the night. They cleaned up and looked after everything. THANK YOU SO MUCH BONNE BOUCHE CATERING FOR DOING AN AMAZING JOB LAST SATURDAY :-)

At a wedding with many professional servers and cooks in attendance this company was able to impress everyone with their amazing food! The scallop potatoes became the star of the wedding and I heard more people talking about them then anything else! The staff were friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend Foodlums for any event and I will defiantly be calling them for any of my catering needs in the future.

The Foodlums catered our wedding in September 2015, and I'm so unbelievably glad we chose them. Tim and his team are so easy to work with, and will answer any questions and will help you plan your menu and make sure that everything works well together. It was so easy to get the menu set up, the price was great, and the food was unbelievable. It's been 6 months and we still have people commenting on how good our food was! I've never had a better beef brisket in my life, and everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection. I would 100% recommend The Foodlums, they will make your meal a complete success. Thank you!

Quality service and food! I had Bonne Bouche cater my parent's 60th birthday party in my backyard on Aug 31, 2019. The staff arrived a little earlier than expected. They were independent, they took the ball and ran with it. We had some issue with the weather (nothing we could control) but I was quite impressed with their staff took care of the situation. They moved from the backyard, to upstairs on the patio and got set up so swiftly without any help or questions. They communicated when needed and they were outstanding The food was ahh-mazing. I had so many of my guests ask who the caterer was. The servings were large and we had ample amount of left overs. The scallop potatoes were a hit. The corn bread along with the smoked paprika butter were a nice touch. Hands down will be using Bonne Bouche Catering again to cater my future needs.

Christine and her team are truly amazing! They were very flexible with our dietary restrictions and getting back to us quickly with questions we had. They showed up on time and didn’t even notice they were there until our dinner was ready to be served. The food was absolutely amazing and every single guest raves about their meal! Tons on leftovers which they packed up for us. The meat was cooked perfectly and right on time. Highly recommend the scalloped potatoes and vegan moussaka they were a huge hit leaving our guests wanting more! Just wish they had a restaurant we could eat those potatoes at every week! Well done, highly recommend.

Christine and her team from Bonne Bouche did an amazing job catering my wedding. Our original catering fell through and they saved the day, putting together a quote and all the information for me quickly and clearly. Compared to other catering companies that we looked at, they had the winning combination of affordability and selection. We got married at Tin Poppy Retreat, which is a remote set of cabins near Salmon Arm. The food was delivered and set up at the time we discussed, in a beautiful display that everyone loved. The food itself was also delicious! It was cooked perfectly and was so flavourful. Everyone ate their fill and we have leftovers to spare. We had one vegetarian guest who they were able to make up a special plate for. They made sure she was happy with her meal as well. We were so happy with their service. I can’t recommend this team enough!

Bonne Bouche catered our wedding in July and they were AMAZING. Our wedding was about 3 weeks ago and we still have guests telling us how much they loved our food. We went with the Silver buffet package and it was perfect. Bonne Bouche arrived at our wedding and set up so quickly and professionally, and even grilled our steaks right on the grill so that they were fresh off the grill for our guests! Their scalloped potatoes were also to die for. I shopped around for a caterer quite a bit when wedding planning and did lots of research and comparing and felt that Bonne Bouche was very good value for what we got. Bonne Bouche allowed us to do a tasting (to go, because of Covid restrictions earlier this year), which was great and really helped us choose among her huge list of options. I was completely blown away by the quality of food that they provided for our wedding. I know buffets can be hit or miss - Bonne Bouche's was definitely a hit. I would hire them again in a heartbeat (and hope I get to attend another event that they cater)! On top of the excellent food and service on the day of our wedding, Christine was fantastic to work with leading up to the wedding. As I went through the wedding planning process, I realized how important communication was, and prompt communication was something that set vendors apart. Christine was quick to respond and great to work with through all of the restriction changes leading up to my wedding. Thanks again Christine and Bonne Bouche for everything!

I had a wedding at the end of July and the service was great. Unfortunately, communication through email with Tim was quite unprofessional. At one point he accidentally sent me an email meant for his co-worker that he had "flaked and went to the beach" when only a couple minutes before he had responded to my email saying he was on vacation and couldn't help with my question. I also ended up getting a different "smoked bbq chicken" than I requested that I didn't enjoy. I also had a spicy lasagne that was not spicy or tasty, to be honest. However, the girls were very helpful and sweet on my wedding day.

The lady's did such an amazing job with our wedding and its honestly the best food we could of asked for!! All of our guess left full and saying 'that pork!'. The ladies we lovely and I'm so glad that we were lucky enough to have them cook for our wedding :) thankyou!!

We had Foodlums for our wedding in June of 2016 and I would recommend them to anyone. Tim was easy to work with and helped with setting a menu that would accommodate our dietary restrictions (we had vegetarians, vegans, and people who are gluten-free). We had many compliments on the food from our guests. Seriously, the Mac and Cheese was a huge hit! The staff were very friendly and helpful on the wedding day and accommodating to the rain. I was very please with all stages of the process.

My wife Jenn and I hired Foodlum to cater our wedding on August 18th. The food was delicious. Everyone was raving about the Mac and cheese as well as the scalloped potatoes. We also had the smoked brisket and the lemon rosemary chicken which were both big hits. The BBQ sauce that went on top of the brisket was fantastic. Reminded me of the my time spent down in the southern US. The only small issue we had were some communication errors regarding our menu. We had originally asked Tim if he could do a poutine bar for our midnight snack and he said that wouldn’t be a problem. It was then about 2 weeks before the wedding when he told us he couldn’t do that and he thought we asked for Mac and cheese and not a poutine bar. This was the only real issue we had but other than that the service was great and the food was amazing. We would highly recommend!

My wedding Day is easily the biggest event I've planned for! Tim and his staff made it so stress free to deal with them! The entire Evening I was told how great the food was and how much they loved it!! Hands down the best food for your $$. Highly Suggest Using Tim and his staff!

Amazing! There isn't really too much else that can be said about my experience with using Foodlums. Tim and his staff catered my wedding in July 2017. The entire night guests kept approaching me and my new husband to tell us how great the food was! Some guests confessing that they went back up 3 times to fill their plate. Tim was always so helpful with accommodating our food requests. Everything from adding perogies onto our menu to satisfy the Ukrainians in the crowd, to letting me know what ingredients were in certain foods as we had a couple of guests with dietary requirements. Tim, my father is a Red Seal Chef. He is a man of little words but he will definitely let you know when he doesn't like something. I can tell you, he had nothing but great things to say about the meal! Thank you so much for the hard work you and your team did on our special day!!

Unfortunately I have to write this review today of Christine and her team at Bonne Bouche. What started out as a great experience was soured as the pandemic hit. We had chosen Christine's team to cater our wedding in the Okanagan. In early june, our venue informed us they would not be hosting events this season. As albertans we made plans to have a smaller wedding closer to home. After almost 6 weeks of informing the Bonne Bouche team, finally we received a response that they will cancel out date, and the initial deposit is non-refundable. Every other vendor was more than happy to return any deposits during these unforseen circumstances. Continued attempts to contact christine and find a resolution have been ignored, they are extremely unprofessional. Do not hire Bonne Bouche as a catering company for any events, if any plans change (or even if a pandemic cancels your wedding plans) they will ghost you and refuse to discuss any alternative options.

Christine and her team made the most delicious fully plant-based Greek/Mediterranean food for my wedding. I was so happy with how the food turned out. I had several guests tell me it was the best wedding food they'd ever had and that was coming from people who aren't vegan. Christine was super lovely to work with and she also had wonderful servers. The best part was that we got a little extra food made so that we could enjoy leftovers after the wedding. I'd definitely recommend Christine's vegan eggplant moussaka, the Greek butter beans, and the mini pies for dessert! So good!
