Very busy, but the food was not great. Fish and chips were mostly cold, the fish batter was very hard. Chicken strips were much the same, except the chicken was overcooked. Also several of the gluten free chicken wings were not gluten free when we asked. The menu said they were. Not planning on going back.

Love Goo's everytime I've had it previously. This time I called to place a pick up order was told would be an hour wait which is expected at supper time and with the short handedness of the restaurant industry as a whole. Ordered a Buffalo Chicken Poutine (which is the best in town in my opinion) and was told could be as soon as I got there instead of the wait,made this hungry man very happy ????

Tried Goo’s for the first time the other night and wow did I come away happy! For what you get it’s a great price in my opinion. The chicken skins were delicious as well as the Goo burger and Buffalo Chicken poutine. The staff was super friendly. Can’t wait to go back again!

I always get the buffalo chicken poutine. Last few times is like they forgot to add the chicken. It's a joke. There burgers are so small now. Yes they used to be good. Not anymore. I would recommend going to sobeys and cooking your own food.

The cooks who work there are dirty and don't wash their hands before touching food. I watched one guy handle raw chicken wings for an order and then make a ceasar salad without washing his hands. Another employee was making sheets of bacon and sneezed without covering his mouth. So gross. Its too bad because i liked their food until i saw how filthy the employees are!!!

Called ahead because I was in a rush, I was told 15 minutes. So I showed up on time. Continuing to wait 25 AFTER arriving, that's why I had time to write this review. They continued to take orders while food sat fully cooked sitting on spatulas so they didn't burn. I understand people get busy but if you have previous clients awaiting orders and the food is sitting there ready then serve them their food before taking $ from new clients. Food looks great tho. Hopefully it tastes as good.

I’ve been going to goos for over ten years now and I think it’s going to be coming to an end. The food is great but the service we’ve been receiving is not the same as it was when they first opened or even years ago. On my last 3 occasions that I’ve went I haven’t even been able to order food. 1st occasion - show up 1 hours before closing and was told that they have run out of fries and chicken. 2nd occasion - once again show up 1 hour before closing according to their google hours and the restaurant was already closed, not sure what the point of having an opening and closing time is if you close early and this isn’t the first time this has happened. 3rd occasion - show up tonight approximately 5:45pm and was told their is a 2 hours wait to order food due to goos allowing pre orders, which I think is crazy 30-40 min is reasonable on a busy Friday night but 2 hours that’s ridiculous. I’ve been a loyal customer for over 10 years and I’m just disappointed to see one of my favorite restaurants going down this road, idk if I’ve just had bad luck or these issues are going to continue... On a side not the food is always great, if you’re lucky enough to be able to place an order lol.

Deep fried Mac n' Cheese wrap is amazing... It's like a deep fried burrito filled with delicious homemade macaroni and cheese instead of burrito fillings... I've never had anything like it anywhere else... I'm also a big fan of Goo's poutine and his hotdogs are the same ones they sell at the Skydome... Probably the best hotdogs in town

Popped in to Goo's recently after a trip to the vets with our pooch. They happen to share a parking lot. I used to eat here once a week when I worked nearby. Having changed jobs and being forced to go Gluten Free 3 yrs ago I hadn't been in a while. I was shocked to see how many Gluten Friendly items they had on thier menu. Portions were still as massive as I remembered and the poutine just as delicious. My hips say I can't go back very often but my taste buds say YESSSSS!

My daughter ordered the mac n cheese wrap and loved it until she found a long hair twisted in and around her fries under the other half of the wrap. I almost threw up when i went to pull it out thinking it was hers but it wasn't. It was in there good. This is the 2nd time eating there and both times were not good. We went to Goo`s and had our dinner tonight, as we liked the fact there are gluten free options. We found the food taste to be quite good. What shocked me was the person preparing the food did not use tongs to top my burger, instead used his hands but did not put on a pair of gloves. He grabbed pickles, onion, hot peppers - all using his hands. Then went back to using the fryer, making more food, without washing his hands at all. Some tongs for condiments are cheap - I can`t understand why they do not use them. Like I mentioned the food tasted quite good, but the lack of this simple sanitary practice was a turn off for me.

Walked in at 7:20pm on a Saturday, went to order and elderly lady says we are closed. I said "my bad, you guys close at 7?" She replied, "8"... ¿¿¿?? I look at my phone and say it's twenty after 7. She says we stop serving around this time. ¿¿¿¿ ZERO SENSE. Never go back. If you don't want business 40 to 45 minutes before you close, than change your hours! I'm sure the food is good, but the customer service and logic behind it, BIG thumbs down ????

Goo's has this thing called a Deep Fried Mac n' Cheese wrap. If you have never tasted God, I highly recommend you eat the Deep Fried Mac n' Cheese Wrap. It is a deep fried burrito full with cheese and pasta. It was so good that I had an intense religious experience so powerful that I was temporarily no longer sad that my uncle had died.

I ordered delivery. Took about 1 hour and 20 minutes to arrive. Was supposed to get sauced chicken fingers/fries/plum sauce combo, a side cesar salad, and a small order of onion rings. When my food arrived (cold), I received 4 dry chicken fingers (no fries), a soggy salad and literally 10 onion rings. Definitely not worth the $28.05 they charged me + delivery tip. Extremely disappointing considering all the positive reviews.

We have been going to goo’s for close to a decade. The only problem we have is that we always like what we always get so much it’s so hard to try something else. Some of our favorite’s are: Buffalo chicken wrap, any of the dozen poutines, foot long specialty dogs, chicken Alfredo (sauce is house made!) and they also have really great tasting and good sized wings. Always hot, cooked the same every time and staff are always friendly.

Love this place. Everything is good. I love the beef burrito it has no nasty beans which for me is awesome, I guess it's just like a big taco but wrapped like a burrito. They have a deep fried mac n cheese wrap too that is also super amazing. And it's not that box KD either it is homemade mac n cheese. If you like that kind of stuff you will love Goo's. Like I said everything is good burgers, fries, poutine oh and he has 2 types of gravy to choose from.

Tons of options for anyone with a Gluten Intolerance or Celiac Disease. My wife has Celiac and is not often able to eat Fast or Fried food; so having a dedicated gluten free fryer was amazing. We ordered 3 meals and 1 appetiser, and the portion sizes are huge. We both enjoyed our meals and had leftovers for a few more. We drove all the way from Kitchener and will definitely be returning again soon.

Terrible customer service. Can't even get ahold of them on the phone to place a take out order let alone delivery times are upwards of 3 hours. Love this place, love the food and I understand the struggle to keep up with supply and demand, staffing and running a business but perhaps its time to get a person for answering the phones or extra staff to speed up delivery and wait times aswell. Just went in to order food, and before I could say one word I was pretty much told to leave in a very rude way, because the wait time was over an Hour. I guess this place doesn't want my money.

Been in here twice in 2 weeks and both times the lady is very rude. Not only to myself but the kids and other construction works. She has no problem shaking her head at you and being nasty. I ordered a burger and fries the first time and was arrogantly told to wait outside. I waited for 35 min and it was not busy at all. I walked in to find my food on the counter and sorry from a guy was said. I said you could have told me it was ready.. anyways the meat of the burger did not hold at all and was a mess.. the poutine I ordered the second visit was not bad at all.. I won't be going back just because of the nasty old ladies attitude and poor customer service.

The customer service was excellent. They were very careful not to cross contaminate my food with gluten, since I'm Celiac. The food is very expensive, $42 for fish with loaded cheese fries, chicken fingers and fries with a side of gravy (half full container) and chicken skins. The food had no seasoning, it was dipped in flour and fried. They use a cheese sauce on the fries, not real cheese. Half of the food was eaten and then tossed. I make better food at home.

If your into healthy foods with kale and bean sprouts, this place isn't for you. If your into food that tastes great with an extra calorie here and there, you've come to the right place. The poutines are my favorite, there are so many kinds, but the buffalo chicken is the best. And don't forget his award winning chili! The staff is always friendly as well. What a great little hidden gem. Amazing food and a owner that looks after his customers. Excellent prices.

Deep fried gluten free heaven! While Goo's is not dedicated gf it has a separate fryer for gluten free items. Not the healthiest options but this gluten free person gets tired of salad and plain proteins! So many options I had trouble deciding and Goo kept making suggestions which only made it harder! I finally settled on a poutine with fresh cut fries, gravy, cheese curds, breaded chicken fingers, ranch sauce and mild wing sauce. So damn good but definitely a treat! The non gf hubby had a fresh beef burger which he raved about. You know a place is good when the locals eat there and Goo greats them by name! Mostly take-out with a few small tables.
