Almost a month ago I reached out via email to Devlin’s. I was interested in ordering a four course meal for my parents 50th wedding anniversary. Ryan Devlin responded right away. He gave me several options for a meal that would be easy for me to heat, plate and serve. Some of his suggestions are not even on the regular menu, but he knew would be a great and easy meal for me to serve. I picked up the dinner yesterday, and Ryan gave me such easy to follow instructions. Let me tell you, my parents LOVED every bite of this delicious meal! It was so easy for me to heat up and serve, it looked beautiful and tasted AMAZING! I am so glad I chose this very special dinner to be prepared by Devlin’s. Ryan and his staff went above and beyond to help my parents 50th Anniversary so wonderful! I can’t wait to order curbside service again, and once we are able, to dine in at Devlin’s. I recommend Devlin’s 100%!!!

My husband & I had reservations for dinner to celebrate our anniversary and the service, food and atmosphere were perfect, as usual. Living down the street, we have been coming here for over 20 years and have always enjoy it. Our appetizers, the shrimp cocktail and honeycomb crusted Gunshill brie cheese with plum compote & roasted garlic were absolutely delicious! For main courses, my husband had a steak with gorgonzola cheese and he kept raving about it, how it melted in his mouth, saying it is the best he's ever had, comparing it to steaks he's eaten all across North America. I had their surf & turf burger topped with Hollandaise sauce and it was so incredibly big I had to eat it with a knife & fork, without the bun. The onion rings accompanying it were truly the best I've ever had! We've always loved the food, but tonight the chef outdid himself. The portions were large and we'll be enjoying leftovers tomorrow. We were also treated to a special dessert for our anniversary. Karen & Georgie looked after us, they have always gone out of their way to make our evenings special. Phyllis, the new sommelier, selected a perfect wine for me, I'm so disappointed it is such a limited quantity. She was so knowledgable about the vineyards and very interesting to listen to. I wanted to try all the wines she recommended. Ryan Devlin, the chef/owner, is not just a great business man, he is all for the community as well. Watching him during the Covid lockdowns, he did everything he could to support local businesses and encouraged others to as well. He also used his own business to support those less fortunate. He has had a Charity Bread on the menu for a few years that is used to support a local charity selected by a different staff member each month. I highly recommend Devlin's Country Bistro. You will definitely enjoy your evening and come away full & satisfied.

Ryan and his team catered my wedding last week and all I can say is WOW! Not only was the food incredible but our bartender was also amazing, so nice and caring. I have eaten good food in Norfolk. I am a spoiled NY foodie who doesnt care what I pay, as long as I get the taste that I want. Devlins is without question....the best in Norfolk County. There is no other way to put this. I had the pleasure of attending a party that they where catering and Mr. Ryan Devlin and his staff worked tirelessly. But the spread was equal to nothing I have ever enjoyed so much. The care in preparing and presenting the food is only matched by the flavor....perfectly seasoned. NOTHING was bland. The party was amazing, but I have to say, the food clearly stole the show. Amazing, I need to eat in the restaurant now. The prices are worth it given NYC and Toronto pricing for food far less competent than what Devlins can deliver. I finally ate at the restaurant for Valentine’s Day. Quite frankly? I can’t wait to get back there...the food is awesome. I love the service and the food does not miss!

My bf and i decided to try this restaurant for our 6th anniversary, SO happy we did :) Environment: Fancy, buisness casual, romantic, simple, elegant Food: We had a select menu to choose from that evening, there were great dishes listed. We started with the cheese appetizer which was very rich in flavour, sweet, paired nicely with the white wine we ordered too. We then had mains, chicken skewers, fresh grilled veggies and my date had pork dish, with veggies, both also came with creamy, dill mashed potatoes. for dessert we split a lava cake Staff: our waitress was great! Diligent, checked in on us frequently (even when it got busy) she was wonderful, polite and courteous. Pricing: a bit costly, but this place uses such fresh ingredients, each dish is cooked wonderfully, good flavour, good seasonings, great options even on a pre set menu. The price is not outrageous, it does feel a bit like a fancier bistro and both my date and i felt pricing was ideal for the experience and food we received :) we will be going back in the near future. ps, they have a cute lemon bar where they get drinks from, it's adorable! They also have a huge grill pit and music playing, you can watch the chefs cook food on the grill it smells amazing from the parking lot Thank you Devlins for making our anniversary special we both enjoyed the meal and visit. :)

Devlin's catered our wedding at The Lavender Farm in Ayr and did an amazing job! The food was absolutely incredible. I truly don't know how they cook 110 steaks PERFECTLY. We went around to each table to ask how our guests were enjoying everything and the food was an absolute hit. Ryan and his crew were amazing to deal with and very accomodating. Ryan answered all the questions and requests we had. The food service couldn't have gone any smoother. We also had 2 of Ryan's staff members for our bartenders and they did a lovely job. I highly recommend Devlin's for all your catering needs!

You drive into the village of Mount Pleasant, in Brant. A 4-way stop and suddenly the aroma of a grill fire. Devlin's Bistro calls you like an ocean's Siren. You are mesmerized until they bring out the medium rare filet mignon hinting of a light smoked flavour and paired with a melt-in-your-mouth lobster tail. Was really enjoyable. They have surf and turf on Monday till Wednesday. As husband doesn't like surf he had just turf. They plated the meals as one just surf and one just turf. We really appreciated the treatment we received.

Awesome experience with Ryan, the owner at Devlin's! They were the caterer for our wedding and we couldn't have been happier. We originally were planning to have a brunch buffet wedding, but because of COVID had to switch to plated, and then last minute had to switch to boxed meals for a 10 person reception. I think they were very reasonably priced, and just had great service. Ryan was great. Very responsive to my emails and questions. The tasting at the actual restaurant was delicious. Ryan came over to answer questions and was super friendly. They were super accommodating with changing things last minute because of COVID, and what we ended up with was delicious. Can't wait to go back to the restaurant sometime to re-experience the deliciousness!

Arranged a work dinner her for the holidays. The reservations were easily made and amended through the staff. We had a separate room with a very helpful server. They made sure we were all taken care of throughout the night. Food was well cooked but many people in our party felt it was very salty. Excellent cocktail menu with locally distilled spirits it’s. We enjoyed the options on the holiday fixed price menu - there is something for everyone’s tastes, although the steak is an additional cost and wasn’t a great cut of beef (thin and grisly) Safety measures in place. Parking in small lot or on the street. Our room was very warm and a bit uncomfortable. Overall, this is a quaint spot with well designed menu, although on the pricier side.

Great atmosphere, staff and the food is amazing. Probably the best bone in Pork-chop I have ever had. But the most amazing part of the evening was the after dinner drink, called Ryan’s favourite. In fact it is my favourite best know as a Carajillio made with Licor 43 and espresso. Our only complaint is we haven’t come here sooner. Well done Ryan’s and team.

Went here for a large group Christmas party (about 14 people). The atmosphere is very upscale and romantic. The service was great and the food was even better! Our server helped us pick drinks and suggested some great food. They had a set holiday menu which made it easier to pick from. Will definitely be going back!

Great selection of wines and unique crafted cocktails accompanied our spread of appetizers (tempura cauliflower, oysters Rockefeller, Caesar salad, French onion soup, house baked focaccia bread) which were all outstanding with a depth of flavour and presented beautifully. For entrees we enjoyed the beef short rib, wagyu ribeye, and ricotta gnocchi, all were plated to perfection. It was a feast for the ages and we cannot wait to return. shoutout to Ryan and his team for delivering an exceptional culinary experience!

Horrible service. Waitresses were rushed and rude, walked away as we tried to speak. $50 steak meal was all grizzle in 3 of 3 dishes ordered. I went for my birthday and it was completely ruined by the attitude of the staff and having to wait 60 mins for my meal only to wait another 60 for a refire of it after it was over cooked and bad cut of beef. We complained and the waitress sent a photo to the owner and my mom contacted the owner via email and he didn't even have the courtesy to respond. No apology from the staff and no response from the owner. We're told he's an arrogant prick so needless to say we spent $400 that night and will never go back and I highly suggest you don't waste your time.

We had Devlin's cater our wedding hosted on our own property and Ryan was just amazing- came out to our place a few months before to see the venue and go over what he needed in order to do the on site catering. He answered about a hundred emails of mine leading up to the wedding to answer all my questions. And on top of that the food and service was AMAZING. We got so many compliments on the food, the servers and bartenders were so friendly. We couldn't have asked for anything better.

What an absolute treat and gem of a place. Our group ordered pretty much everything from the menu, from the Oysters, Mussel to the Lamb and Smoked pork belly and every single plate was wiped clean. The food at Devlin's is fresh and bright, great attention to detail and the flavoring is on point and far above board than many restaurants in larger cities which boast 'good food' If you are in the area or even if you are not (we drove in from Markham) it's well worth the trip.

Great food in a cozy atmosphere. Upscale setting with high quality ingrediants and options. Decent sized menu prepared to your specifications with daily specials available. Portions sizes are hearty. A perfect spot for a date night or romantic dinner. It is more expensive than your average dinner spot but the food fetches every penny that you pay. Highly suggest a visit here. Small venue so prepare to call for reservations.

Devlin's catered the food for our wedding and we were so happy with their service and the quality of the food. The guests couldn't stop raving about how tasty everything was was. Not only were they were so easy to work with, they were also already incredibly thoughtful. My husband and I had missed cocktail hour as we were taking photos but they had still prepared a sample plate of the hors d'oeuvres for us, which was the sweetest touch!
