Every time I have visited, the service has been outstanding. Ben is always happy, takes the time to greet every customer that sits down to enjoy the food. The Chicken Montebello has amazing flavours. The food and service is always good. Definitely worth every penny

A nice classy place downtown. A staple in Brandon. I find the food is hit and miss, more hit than miss but I still find consistency seems to be off for some reason. Nice staff and always a great atmosphere.

My family and I had one of our BEST DINING EXPERIENCES EVER at Benny's. We went for supper on Sept. 2, 2016. I ordered Chicken Montebello and it was actually better than my Italian neighbour makes it. We were served by the owner himself whoserved us with a smile on his face and we felt valued as customers. It was a treat to feel like the owner was genuinely happy that we were there. The owner went around to every table greeting his customers like they were friends. You can't beat the food or the service here. We recommend it highly. It's our go-to place now

Wow! Stopped in to grab dinner for takeaway, ordered the Chicken Montebello. It was 25 mins before I got back to the hotel and dug-in, but even so, plastic cutlery, takeaway box and all: it was literally one of the most delicious meals I've ever had. The chicken was moist, the beets and carrots were perfectly cooked, garlic mash was on point, and the basil cream sauce was delicious. It was ready within the quoted 15 mins and service was super friendly; I can't wait to try the rest of the menu!

Ribeye was thin and stringy, but had good flavour and was cooked well. The Chopped Romaine Salad with crispy anchovies and hen's egg had neither, and was just a standard Cesar salad. Would have been nice to try the prime rib but they had run out by 6:30. For the price, we will try somewhere else next time.

We ordered potstickers, for our appetizer. It was a 6 piece and is great for 2-3 people. I ordered the 6oz sirloin. It was tender and juicy, with very little fat. The sides were carrots, beets and garlic mashed potatoes, all of which were fantastic. My gentleman ordered the basil chicken. It had a mix of veggies, with subtle but pleasant seasonings. The service was efficient, but not rushed. Great serving team! The atmosphere is very comfortable. Music and light levels are perfect for a group to be able to visit, while enjoying their meal.

Cool little restaurant. Best aspect is the service. Friendly and attentive without being intrusive, they are really good. Food was tasty, if a little expensive. Also parking isn't great but that's not their fault. Good first date place.

Do yourself a favor if you're looking for a caterer or just a great meal, head to Benny's. We've had nothing but great experiences with the restaurant over the years. This year we also got Ben and his team to provide the food for our wedding and we couldn't be any happier with the service we received. We had a few hiccups leading up the wedding and Ben adapted everything to make sure it went smoothly. Couldn't imagine dealing with anyone else through that process. The food is amazing and the service is even better!

Not the best but not the worst. I called for pick up and when I went to pick it up they didn't send the order in, so it was never made. Should have been a sign to go somewhere else, I proceeded with the order anyways because I know it happens when it's busy. The food was okay. First time trying French onion soup and the reviews said it was good but it sadly didn't taste as good as the reviews said it would be. The sandwiches and fries I got were good though.

For $20 I got a 6oz steak, 5 shrimp, mashed potatoes, and vegetables, so it is definitely good value. Certainly not fine dining, but a solid meal for a reasonable price. Service was very good.

I ordered eight meals for two lunch meetings today and they were all hits! The food arrived quickly, hot, beautifully assembled even in the take-out containers. The steak sandwiches were a nice change from the usual lunch meeting fare, for the same price as less impressive options in town. Lasagnas were great and the burger was wonderful as well. Benny's will be my new go-to for lunch meeting meals!

My husband and I had our wedding reception at Benny's, and we were so happy with our choice. Ben was easy to work with and accommodated all of our needs. The atmosphere and service was exceptional, all of our guests were impressed with the meal and enjoyed themselves. The food was cooked to perfection and the servers were very attentive. I would highly recommend Benny's to anyone for both a nice dinner or for a special event. We can't wait to go back!

Fantastic cozy romantic place to eat. Great selection of appetizers, salads, burgers, steak, pasta and even seafood. Strongly recommend their Pepper Chorizo Burger and the Bread pudding for dessert. You will not go home hungry and chances are you will have some left over for another meal. Definitely going back cause I was fully satisfied with my experience.

I was so impressed with our lunch at Benny's Restaurant in downtown Brandon. It's got very sophisticated yet also warm and welcoming decor. The wait staff was both professional and very friendly. The prices can't be beat and the food is seriously fresh and delicious. I had a wonderfully aromatic, fresh tomato basil soup and a mouthwatering sandwich. My son ordered a cheeseburger off of the kid's menu and it was the juiciest, thickest, most flavourful burger I've ever had anywhere in Brandon. I am definitely going to come back. I'd love to see the dinner menu! And I'm recommending it to all my friends and family.

If ever a restaurant deserves support during this pandemic this is the one. We were on our 16 days road trip Toronto-Rocky Mountains-Toronto. We were looking for a good place to have a dinner while passing Brandon, MB ending up at Benny's place on July 18. It was our first visit to his restaurant. We ordered french onion soup, farms burger, steak sandwich. The food was very good especially we all liked an onion soup as we knew exactly how a good onion soup should taste and look like. Next time we paid a visit to Benny's restaurant on the way back on July 29 knowing that we would have a good quality dinner. We called from the road to make a reservation at 6 pm. We ordered french onion soup again recalling how we liked it the first time. This time it was a complete disappointment. The soup was like porridge, mixture of softened bread with onion. We were all hungry so we had eaten the soup but my wife and daughter did not finish it. Our expectations were very high but not met.
