Edit: I'm going to have to change the review from 5 stars to 1. I hate seeing people only leave a review when they have a bad experience yet say they've had a bunch of good times and have never left a review before. I initially gave this place 5 stars bc the food is great and as to my knowledge that hasn't changed. Pastaman has been closed all winter, I get it. I waited for Spring for them to open back, checking their IG everyday, they didn't open when they initially stated. Now they are open, but you never know when they are going to close. Some days they are randomly closed on Uber. On the days they choose to operate they don't open till 4 (understandable) but yet Uber states they will be open until midnight and they aren't. I just checked the app half an hour ago they were open, I went to do something and BOOM suddenly unavailable. This has happened to me 5-10 times. Be closed if you want to but communicate with your customers or set your hours on Uber etc properly :/ I ordered here off Uber the dishes really late. It was open super late and the pricing is affordable. I ordered two pastas the chef's special (chipotle chicken) and the penne arribiata. Portion sizes are generous. The chipotle was great, the flavours are subtle and the flavour the sun-dried tomatoes brings pairs so well with it. The penne arribiata has a robust tomato flavour that keeps developing as you eat it, I couldn't put it down. I had some left over for lunch today and it was still great. Im in Brampton but unfortunately out of the delivery zone for Skip and the Uber driver took longer than expected to deliver, the time continued to extend, but thats an issue I have with Uber.

Unfortunately I didn't enjoy neither the Alfredo nor the Arrabiata. The Alfredo tasted very plain while the Arrabiata was extremely spicy. For the price, I expected something to taste a lot better than what I could've prepared at home.

Hands down one of the best pasta I’ve ever tried. And the guy working there is really chill and welcoming as well, he hooked me up with free drinks couple times.

Ordered a few days back pastaman special and chef's favorite...very good pasta I have to openly admit I expected it to taste like a desi made italian food but brother you cook like an Italian person and I go to lots of restaurants but your pasta is one of the best...please check out pastaman's dishes...I'll be back for more I wish you nothing but success and hopefully one day you can get so much business that you open a dine in location as well and to top it off...we saved half of each pasta to have in the morning and it tasted just as good as it did the night before when I bought it. Keep it up bro

Best Pasta I ever had. I tried the Chef’s special pasta from this place and it was the best pasta I ever had. The quality of food served is on par with restaurants or better though this is a food truck. This is run by a really friendly and nice guy. You may have to wait for around 15 minutes for your order but it’s worth it. My go to pasta place now.

A friend recommended this place to me, tried it the next day and loved it! I’ve gotten food from his place twice now, brought food home for my siblings too. Didn’t eat mine til almost an hour after getting it and it was still so hot and fresh! Excellent portions and excellent service. Would rather a upport small local business over your typically east side mario’s, when the food is just as good if not better!

I have ordered from here through Uber Eats. Food quality and taste is really good. However the quantity needs to be worked on. My favorite is the Mushroom alfredo which costs $18. But the quantity is half of what I was expecting. I haven't tried any other.

Ordered from here for the first time and disappointed that I didn't know of Pastaman earlier. Had the Chef's Favourite + sausage along with garlic bread and it tasted very fresh and flavourful. Came all the way from nobelton around 1am, after reading all the great reviews and seeing all the pictures, I was anxious to try Pastaman. Got there and he was all sold out and was closing down, pretty upsetting, but I would be coming back next weekend for sure, then he tells me let me cook something up for you, I told him no worries as I would be coming back and it's late but he insisted, he had only penne and told me to pick how I would like it. Tried the Tandoori Chicken Penne, and wow one of the best pastas I've had in a really long time, it was cooked just right hot and fresh, even the garlic bread was really good. I wish I could have left a bigger tip. But I highly reccomend this place, amazing customer service and amazing food.

The PastaMan is MOST definitely a BUSY man, but if you plan ahead and/or can manage your appetite, he’s certainly worth the wait. Friday night wait time was about an hr, for 4 dishes, so don’t expect to have a meal for 5 ready in 20 minutes. Just a word of ***caution*** This man went to culinary school to learn how to cook Italian food, which is well clear in the dishes he creates. His Italian cooking skills, and his South Asian background give him a unique skill in preparing “fusion” food, like the Paneer Penne, or the Tandoori Chicken pasta. Two different worlds merged together, to create the most scrumptious, mouth watering pasta you probably haven’t had in a while. The fusion dishes are ???? spicy, but that’s generally the rule of thumb with South Asian cuisine. His traditional Italian pasta dishes are simply divine. The dishes range from Fettuccine Alfredo, to Penne Arrabbiata, to Chicken Marsala. I haven’t tried every meal on his menu, but I have tried 4/5 and can whole heartedly say, you won’t be disappointed. The food is savoury, succulent, and very satisfying. More so, you can make minor adjustments to the ingredients in the dishes. I.e., add more chicken or take out the mushrooms. And the portions are more than generous. Not only is his food AMAZING, but he is also easy to work with, is very customer focused, and humble. Give this place a try and you’ll not be disappointed. Food worth the money you pay, and although inconvenient at times, food worth the wait. ***Side Note: if you can’t believe handle spice, ask him to turn the notch down a bit ????***

First of all, I'm am not the kind of a person to give bad review for little/small things but when I find something unreasonable and unfair I speak up. Myself having my own business who started small knows how much time, money and customer service is important this place/guy DOESN'T KNOW IT AT ALL. I drove 20 minutes to this location and my order was refused because he was busy and asked me to come after half an hour and when I went there after half an hour this place was closed. 2nd time I called 2 times before going and left a message then no one picked up neither replied to messages. 3rd time I again drove to this location thinking this time we can get our order placed but again he said "you have to wait 30 minutes as we are taking break and you should have called". Now you guys could easily understand that how much they value your business and time. Extremely disrespectful, unacknowledged and unprofessional behavior on his end. Hope you don't waste your time and ruin your mood like we did.

The worst place to get food. The guy who owns the truck has such a bad attitude. I called him 4 times before going to him so that we can place an order, but he didn't picked the phone. Then I drove all the way for 30mins to his food truck and the guy told me that i have to wait for an hour bcoz he is busy and that i should have called him before coming. This thing has happened 3 times and this guy never change. No customer service. Bad attitude. Never visiting the place ever again. Congratulations, you just lost a regular customer to your bad attitude.

I was really excited to try out the fusion pastas after reading all the great reviews! So I drove 15 mins to this location and got there at about 6:38pm. The website states that they open at 5pm however when I arrived there and proceeded to place my order the guy running the truck said that I would have to wait 25-30 mins and said the reason was that it was a hot day so he just opened. I understand him and I can get its tough working in a truck on a hot day. However, I also drove 15 mins in my car that has no air conditioning to support a small local business and try out one of the pastas. I was disappointed that now I drove a total of 30 mins and wasted my time because the guy running this spot was not considerate about his customers. He looked like a really nice person and I feel bad for him but at the end of the day its a business and more importantly a commitment. If you say your hours of operation are 5pm-2am please show up on time and not waste other peoples time. To anyone who made it this far, call ahead if you're planning to try this spot out. To the founder - thanks for getting back to me. Preparation is key in any industry. I understand it takes 2hrs to prepare the shop before opening however, it is your responsibility to be open BY the time you stated you open not AFTER. Hopefully with phase 3 of reopening of business during this pandemic, you'll be able to hire more people to help you out and to cut down the wait time.

Last night I ordered 2 pastas and I had to call him again to add 1 more pastas to the order so as I told him that he said “make you mind before you order, I m very busy and I can’t do it”. I happed to come across this shop when we were looking for an Italian take out. We ordered an Alfredo Pasta and another with Paneer and Tandoori sause. When I went there, to our surprise, it was a food truck parked in the parking lot, so we were bit skeptical till we tasted the food, Both pastas were absolute dight. This business seems to have started during COVID time, based on the good taste they prepare, I felt they can do very well in the future. Keep up the taste. Good luck.
