January 2021 Most of us have struggled in one way or another over the past year and, without a doubt, some families have be hit very hard. In the middle of the week, a mom reached out to her community asking for any assistance in creating a special birthday for her kiddo, describing many financial hardships, family health concerns and various other struggles - any one of which would be crushing on their own, let alone altogether. Out of three youth centres, two pizza joints and six bakeries contacted, one community member stepped up to go above and beyond. Cookie Jar Belleville responded to the all-call and set to work on a beautiful, custom order right away. The kiddo loves fortnite. Well, they knew exactly what to do. The kiddo loves chocolate. Perfect; Eric was all over it. The kiddo likes slime. Well, here's a gorgeous drip cake to match that cool request. And on delivery day (which I might add, was something less than 48hrs after we began our inquiry)? They showed up with a brand new Nintendo Switch, game and controller. Out of their pocket. AFTER graciously discounting the original order. When asked about this amazing gesture, Eric simply responded, "just sharing the [ ] love". The mama wrote me tonight to express her thanks and excitedly shared that the whole family loved the cake (this was a bonus given the "picky" eaters in the house)! The only thing I can think of to repay them is to FLOOD their business with orders. Eat all the cake you can. Make these guys SO busy they are un-bookable till 2050. Thank you, Cookie Jar. You show us all how to be better versions of ourselves and are proof that cake really does fix everything.

If you want a Bakery that goes above and beyond expectations Cookie Jar is the place to go. I had them make a Paw Patrol cake for my sons 5th birthday party. I showed them a picture I found online of a cake I liked, which was a bit detailed. We agreed to lower it down to accommodate my cost. Last minute the day of picking up they messaged me and told me they wanted to make my sons party one to remember and they added all the extra details on my sons cake for free! I was so happy, it was truly unexpected. So for my $50 I got a cake that would of been $80 or more! The look on my sons face when we saw it was truly amazing. And to top it off, they used real vanilla bean to make the cake and it tasted AMAZING!????. I dont usually eat alot of cake anymore but this one, I had to go for seconds. I think everyone went for seconds lol! Can't thank them enough for creating an everlasting memory for my family. Highly recommend Cookie Jar if you need a bakery in Belleville. Thanks again to them for the amazing cake. I will most definitely be coming back any time I need a cake made. ????????

Cookie Jar Belleville is fantastic! Eric did everything he could to make a last-minute delivery request happen as soon as possible. My request was too late in the day for it to happen that day, but they got yummy cupcakes to the recipient the following afternoon and made him happy! This is a hidden gem in Belleville. The birthday cake we ordered was handmade with only the freshest ingredients and it was truly delicious. The price is on the higher end but definitely worth every penny. Eric was courteous, responsive and easy to talk to which made the whole experience even better. We are very grateful to have celebrated our little boy's 3rd year birthday with a Cookie Jar cake. We asked for a Thomas cake and it was delivered more than expected. Not only it was made from scratch (with real vanilla bean!), it was perfectly executed with buttercream, fondant, and three large solid tiers of vanilla cake. Thank you for such a beautiful cake. I almost burst into tears when I saw our cake. My partner ordered the 'Candy Land' vanilla bean flavour for my daughter's birthday and it was spectacular. They even crafted a seal, which she adored, and placed on top. The flavour blew us away, and it was sooo moist. Thank you guys!! It was absolutely the cherry on top of my little girls day!

What a fun cake! Our son couldn’t celebrate his birthday with his friends because of COVID-19. All he asked for was a COVID-19 cake! The cake wasn’t too sweet and it was super moist. The buttercream was also very tasty. Our 11 year old had so much fun with this cake. Thank you ????

He understood our vision and came up with additional ideas to make the gifts even more special, for example, sealing each envelope with a branded emblem. They were also quite accommodating and worked with us to deliver a service within our budget. Faculty members in receipt of the home-delivered gifts expressed their delight upon receiving the nicely packaged gift box and after tasting the chocolately baked treats! I ordered same day, and they were very kind in accepting my request even though it was very last minute. (I didn't get a picture of the cake until after it was already cut smh) I had to make a last minute order for my mom's 70th birthday and this place had the best reviews. They were able to accept the last minute order over the phone and when I picked the cake up I was blown away! It was sooo beautiful and fitting for the birthday theme. The cake was so moist and the icing was not heavy at all! The cake was not too sweet and every piece was enjoyed. I was even able to keep the fresh roses in a small bowl of water for another week. This was my first experience with them but it won't be the last ????

I last minute was was given a date for my sons baptism and had very detailed cookies in mind that I wanted as favours for our guests. Every year we go to the same bakery for my husband’s Black Forest Birthday Cake. This year we were at a loss when we tried to contact the bakery and the number was not in service. Luckily The Cookie Jar came to our rescue! The cake was a perfect “10” as my husband put it! The best Black Forest Cake we ever had. The fresh cream and cherries were exquisite! The presentation was impeccable! We will be ordering again from this local bakery. We can’t wait to try some of the other treats they have to offer!

They were able to hide the gender within the cupcakes so it was a surprise for everyone and on their first bite it was revealed. They were beautifully done and super delicious! Highly recommend :)

Overall a wonderful experience. A simple yet beautiful elegant design for a birthday cake. Not too sweet. Homemade vanilla bean cake with a berry puree icing. Communication with Eric and his wife was very easy. Text, or via phone call. They were very accommodating with our needs as well. Would recommend, and would return for sure.

Can’t say enough good things about this place. I wanted to go with a local small business for my daughters birthday and they contacted me right away.
