We switched to Koalaroo Catering in November 2020 and have been so please with the quality and quantity of food that our center receives!
The children are served 10 different fruits weekly during their morning snacks and are given fruits they may not have otherwise tried like persimmons and pomegranate.
I love how the lunch menu incorporates dishes from around the world. This not only expands our student’s palate but also contributes to our cultural program, as we discuss where each dish originated. Each meal is packed full of vegetables and have been trialed and tested to appeal to our young students.
Afternoon snacks are carb based such as seasoned breads, biscuits, and scones, which help to curb their hunger till dinner!
Chef Steve has managed all our allergy and dietary restrictions such as vegan, vegetarian, dairy, nut, and egg free diets! He is truly knowledgeable about anaphylactic allergies and takes great care to ensure each child’s dietary needs are met. Chef Steve works directly with the parents to ensure each child’s induvial restrictions are understood, and from an administrative standpoint, this has brought such peace of mind to our parents and to me.
Koalaroo Caterings service has exceeded all my expectations! Chef Steve’s enthusiasm spills over into each meal they prepare. I finally have a menu I am proud to be serving!
