The Hakuna Matata Burger! The service was very slow! We waited 20 minutes for the waiter to take our order and over 1 hour to get our food. When we got our food, my burger patty looked like worms. It was very greasy with no flavor. Pizza was the only acceptable item on the menu, unless you are strictly getting pizza, save your money and go to a place that specializes in burgers.

Every time I visit Banff my go to place is BP, the staff is friendly and the food is delicious..my favorite place to sit is at the bar or Balcony, i would like to thank Brandon for the great service ..looking forward to my next visit .

Did not appreciate the service at all. We were seated and had our order taken and 40 minutes later we realize that people who were seated 10 minutes after us had already received their full course meals and the exact type of wings we have been waiting on for the past 40 minutes along with a couple of others who showed up after us. It was upsetting that people who ordered after us got all their food first. When we expressed that we were upset the waiter waived the fee and apologized and asked us to stay but our meal was ruined and we didn’t feel the apology was sincere. Needles to say we left. Racial profiling may have been a factor as we were the only Indigenous people he was serving.

Called ahead to ask about availability, was told everything should be good. When my party arrives at the restaurant, the server tells us that they aren't serving food because they are under-staffed. Why wasn't this said when I called ahead? I wasted a ton of time driving down there for what? I understand a small restaurant having this problem, not a huge chain restaurant like Boston Pizza. Very disappointed with this experience.

We went for a friends birthday, had a little bit of a waiting time. The food was good, we ordered veggie pizza and pasta with NYC cheese cake. Our server, Sam, absolutely made our night they were very professional, cheerful, knowledgeable and friendly. We were super tired after a long hike but the dinner was a good pick me up!

As a new local, I have never been so humiliated in my life. The bartender says (in front of customers) “You came here four times and I haven’t received a tip” the disrespect for the industry. Yes I understand tips for the job, but you work to work and give your all either way. I know for fact because I work with customers everyday myself. Disappointed to say I will never go back as longs as he works there. Doesn’t deserve my first star at all. Second he ignored me while I was sitting there without a beverage and talking with other customers with beverages.. thanks for the hospitality but not for me again.

I've been to many Boston Pizza's because it has a huge menu and we can all get something we want. Banff location was especially fun because our waitress was from Australia and was very engaging. Our food was typical BP and the service was fast. Good for a town full of stuffy high end restaurants. This is for kids!

I ordered two Creamy Fettuccine Alfredo with bacons and they gave me a fettuccine with Tomatoes. The server asked us and take our orders he asked me if it’s bacon or shrimp but when the food came it’s like a vegetarian food it’s fettuccine with tomatoes, mushrooms and spinach I guess with a cheese melted on top so it’s really far from what we ordered but we didn’t returned it because we thought what if we returned it they might throw it away so we just ate it but we didn’t finished it and I still gave a tip for the server

Zero customer service , Me and my wife went to banff on trip with my friend who came from america , my friend and me showed then vaccinations copy , whereas my wife forgot the copy of proof at home but we tried showing them the email we got of fully vaccinated from govt of alberta , but the girl didn’t even listen and said my managers are watching from cameras, i cant allow you to sit here , just wanna know are your managers this kind of free person to watch cameras everytime ?? Visited for lunch, ate in the "lounge" area, service was superb, wings and burger was delicious, decided to go back for dinner for pizza takeout, however, the prices were very high compared to ordering online. We tried to order online instead however the website wouldn't work, the website is the worst to navigate, so frustrating we went somewhere else as the restaurant wouldn't honour the deals as shown online.

I have been to this Boston Pizza 4 times now while in Banff. All experiences have been good. On my recent vist on September 19, 2021 I was greeted by the same manager Matt. He recognized I had a disability and opened the door for me. Thanks. He is very friendly and hands on. Our Server was Sam and she was very good. Efficient and very pleasant to talk too. Please acknowledge her for her good work. The staff and management we're very accommodating. During one visit during the second week of March, 2021 I went to this Boston Pizza twice for dinner. There is a long set of stairs to go up. The manager on staff notice that I had a disability and quickly pointed out to me that I could take the elevator going down. This was greatly appreciated. During my second dinner on my recent trip the waitress Kelsey was very good. She took the time to talk to us and get to know us as people and not just us customers. To me this is key in customer service. I would like management to give Kelsey recognition for the good service she gave us. The prices are little more than where we come from, but you have to remember you are in a national park. Thanks for the good food and a good service.

On the back of their receipts it encourages you to fill out a survey with a chance to win $200. But the Banff location has chosen to remove the Survey HQ Access Codes from their receipts so their customers can not submit reviews. Too bad for people that live in Banff, no chance to win! Also, what does that say about this location if they are choosing not to allow customers to formally share their feedback with the company, they are either scared of what the reviews will say...or they don't care about receiving their customers feedback.

We had a great lunch visit today. I was out to Banff with my son. We shared medium(hot) oven roasted wings and the medium Meateor pizza. Then we tried the dessert pizza. Everything was so good. Our server, Melissa was friendly and helpful. This is a great spot to stop along Banff avenue for the comfort food BP’s always delivers. We will be back!

Completely rude and immature hostess all while the manager just sat there pretending not to hear. Uncalled for attitude Boston Pizza. We literally went back to our room without eating and ordered pizza instead of dealing with the attitude.

After reading a few of the reviews I decided to write my own. Wonder why this place is still in business after this much complaint because I had almost the same problem: We got the wrong order and we didn't feel sending them back because everyone makes a mistake and we ended up eating them while it really was not the food we had wanted and the restaurant gave us a $10 discount and that was two years ago but I see the same issue with almost every customer here and the place is still up and running and sounds like that the management hasn't done anything about it!

Went here for a team dinner during a hockey tournament this past weekend. They put together a buffet style meal with unlimited pizza, fresh veggies, bottomless pop and salad. All the food was fresh and tasted great. They even packed up the leftover pizza and veggies to go. Really good experience and a very fair price.

Went to the bànff Boston pizza today the waiter that took us to our seats put menus down then just walked away we had 2 children with us she only gave us adult menus we waited a while before anyone came to see us then when we got our food wasn't very Impressed with the pizza there wasn't much meat on it no-one came to see if the kids needed a refill so they was sat there with no drink for a while also the waiter that brought our food just dumped it on the table and walked away without asking if we needed anything else. We come in to this restaurant a lot but never had it this bad also there was flies all over the wall behind where we was eating very disappointed with this visit

I order the same meal and every time it's a different surprise! 0 star for presentation.No sauce,no meat on 1 side and I asked for no mushrooms. Obviously the clown "playing" with food can't read.Looks like extra mushrooms to me. Again, very little meat either the owner is cheap or the staff is skimming for themselves. Been there 4 times this past month and will not go back. I have been to BP''s all across Alberta and never thought I would found a restaurant as bad as Camrose. Banff location is terrible. This is not carnivore it's pastavore. Clean up these filthy stairs!

They gave me salad without forks and I had to just watch it for 15min because they never cared about me. Also I got a completely blend spaghetti that I’m sure the cook made it wrong, and server forgot my asking for bringing salt. Even they didn’t recognize what they forgot when finally my husband took salt and pepper from another table. Was it all? No, I had to wait for another 20min for paying with empty cup and dishes. I like Boston pizza but it was horrible experience at Banff town.

Ordered online for pick up, arrived 4 minutes before scheduled time, was not served at the entrance until 8 minutes later, received food 10 minutes after scheduled pick up time... received an order of onion rings I didn’t pay for and was given a receipt for an un-fulfilled delivery order (with someone’s personal information and order) that printed out while I was paying at the front desk. I can only imagine the other customers not getting their orders or onion rings...

Really disappointing service and food. Waitress didn’t check back to see how the food was or refill our water. Had to ask for ranch three times and didn’t get it till the meal was finished. Wings were cold and the veggies were going bad. Also the overall restaurant was dirty, considering sanitation should be taken more seriously due to COVID 19. Left the restaurant and the hostess was too busy in her conversation to say goodbye. Very upsetting and we won’t be back.

Generally we think BP is decent. The experience is consistent and it is hard to go wrong when you use the $5 kids meals card. We went to the Banff location last night and was surprised by the experience we had. It was above "normal". The food was prepared exactly as we requested, there was obvious care and attention to the way the food was plated and presented. The cherry on the Sunday was having Samuel for our server. He was was genuinely pleasant and friendly he really made our day! Honestly Samuel (server name on bill) made all the difference in the world for our visit. He is an exceptional server. He took the time to exchange pleasantries and was genuine. This sincerity makes all the difference. Well done Samuel you made a decent place an excellent place!

The service was great! We loved our server. But the food was too bland. We ordered pasta. There was absolutely no flavor in the food. No salt/ couldn't taste anything. I ordered the mushrooms fettuccini, the pasta came out dry with almost no alfredo sauce at all. When i asked for sauce i was charged extra. I suggest to never get pasta from this place as you forsure leave unsatisfied.

Yesterday was my second poor experience with this Boston Pizza. My first was back in June when the messed up our order. By the time they fixed the order it was time to leave. So we had to wait AGAIN for them to pack it up. Yesterday we called ahead to order takeout. We changed our minds and decided to dine in, the hostess said to keep the order as take out cause it will be faster. We SPECIFICALLY asked if we could still eat there even though it’s take out and she said yes. And pointed out a table for us to eat at. While waiting for the food, the waiter came by and told us that we cannot eat there because we ordered takeout. Without argument we paid and we left. This was very disappointing considering the restaurant was pretty much empty and they had no trouble seating and serving the next couple that walked in. I’m disgusted with this treatment and hope they learn how to better serve their customers and maybe they can make it to a 3.5 rating at least.

We showed up on the 26th with a reservation for 20 people for the 27th at The Keg that cancelled due to their short staff. Called Boston Pizza Banff and they were more than accomodating for such a large party with very short notice. We showed up and they had our food out in near record time and it was delish. I left the place having waited for 15 min with no server interested to take my order. This was a Thu evening, 7 June, before 7 pm. The restaurant wasn’t even crowded at all. The one who was supposed to do so was more interested in practicing her Spanish or sharing her family background at another table. I hope she got a good tip from them because she must have provided them with such a good conversation opportunity. There was a kind young man who walked past us but could not assist as he is not a server. When he noticed that we haven’t been served after a while, he alerted that young lady who was supposed to serve us. She simply dismissed him, and said she will come to us soon. There was no acknowledgement of our presence not apologise for the delay. We decided to go to Subway instead. Although the service is not excellent there either, but we weren’t made to feel that we weren’t supposed to be there. Oh, by the way, when we walked out, the counter staff didn’t even ask what happened.

My pizza was absolutely delicious. I love how much flavor the sauce has. I got it with onions, ham and bocconcini cheese. I ate the whole thing! My husband didn't love the Alfredo because the sauce just didn't have much flavor. The chicken and garlic bread were good though. I still give it 5 stars because the service was great and my pizza was so good I wish I had another one right now lol.

A worthwhile family-eatery crossed with a sports bar. The place has a nice second-floor view, but inside it was noisy and filled with televisions showing clashing programs. Wish there were more vegetarian-friendly options since the few options they do have are quite good, and definitely better than most American chain-restaurants offer.

Decided to take a day trip out to Banff and took in this place for lunch. It was next to empty their only us into other tables. I did notice of e waiter was not wearing a mask while taking orders. The food was pretty good. To me it seems like the prices were more expensive because it was Banff and not in the city. But don't quite me on that. I could be wrong.

Having lunch here now, still sitting by table but I can’t wait to leave reviews for this restaurant. I usually don’t leave commons on website. The young beautiful waitress Emma gave us suggestions for Shrimp taco, honey garlic wings, and we ordered the deluxe individual size pizza and Fettuccine Primavera. Food came with hot temperatures amazing taste. My 80 years old dad told me not to older many food because he is not hungry but at then end, he ate more than us. We have 4 people and we finished all good except few wings left. Strong recommend this restaurant, food is fresh, tasty, service is excellent and the restaurant is very clean. Emma had her slime in her face that made the food taste even better. Thank you, Emma!

Went two times here . Food was great . Presentations and drinks were not good at all. Service was really slow. We finished eating appetizers,than they served us our drinks No cleanliness.

We came in a group of 8, got seated immediately on a Sunday so that was great, we were separated into two tables of 4 people each. The service was not the best, i got a pizza and had to ask for my small plates because they didn’t bring them, and I had ordered a side of ranch and had to ask for that too, because my waiter forgot. Didn’t bring the drink menu so had to ask for it. Also had to ask for a refill... so not a lot of initiative from the staff, not very attentive to the customer. Mind you it wasn’t even busy. Pizza was really yummy tho.

Waitress was so rude from the beginning and we unfortunately noticed half way through our meal our chicken thai bites werent cooked as I had uploaded a picture showing the raw chicken. No wonder we got sick! Thanks Boston pizza banff ! Dont recommend, go to another place for food and drinks theres plenty around banff I'm sure they actually cook the food lol

There was eight of us that came in, and manager told us that we’ll have to be split into two tables (because of covid restrictions) BUT charged the gratuity pay. We came in and both tables only had TWO food menus and one was missing a drink menu. I ordered cactus cut potatoes, calamari, thai chicken bites, and a small bourbon barbecue chicken. Cactus cut potatoes were almost burnt, Calamari was rubbery and HALF of the stuff on the plate is breaded pickled peppers. Thai chicken bites were fantastic, and was the only thing that was great, since the pizza was basically an onion pizza with how much onions were on it. I was very disappointed with the overall experience. In my opinion, gratuity pay WAS not worth it considering everything that was basically served to our group was mostly horrible. I really felt like I wasted money on this location.

Honesty this place was a disgrace when I went to make a pickup order I had waited an extra 20 min and the man named Kevin was so very rude to me as I forgot my debit card and got very frustrated with me I believe that in the F&B world U do not get rude with someone for that when they are paying your business for food. That man is a disgrace to that business. The hostess was very kind and I could tell she had felt bad.

I appreciate the option for the new vegan bowl. Tasty and full of veggies and flavour. Its wonderful to see a large chain open options on their menu for folks choosing to avoid animal products. If I could give zero stars I would. Decided to get cactus cut kettle chips with my girlfriend, ate them and all was fine at the moment. Within the next few hours we were both vomiting, I believe it was due to the "mystery sour cream" as this was the only thing we ate all day. I wouldn't recommend getting food here in the winter as I was told it was very empty during those months, which leads me to believe food that is stocked has likely expired. Will not be returning.

We had a good experience overall eating here. It’s good for the whole family especially if you have little kids that tend to be a noisy. They get coloring pencils and the kids menu is great. What isn’t so great is that the vegan option (power bowl) is the blandest dish ever. I asked the waitress for some type of a sauce and all the ones offered weren’t vegan. Just because your a vegan or vegetarian, your doesn’t have to be bland.

After reading all these reviews, I came with low expectations. However, I came with my two kid, service was prompt, server was attend. Food came faster that I expected, so pizzas looks like there were premade but however they tasted good. Employees were happy to make my kids welcome. We came for Christmas eve and I saw they were preparing tables for big groups, but that didn't affected our service.

I was not impressed with the service ther was 9 of us we had to break the group up, was charged a 18% gratuity but we only had 5 ppl at each table we were told the table that has 6 would be charge that. The drinks were slow (Nothing fancy) the food was half A#$ the kids meals were better than the adult was the best adult meal was Jambalaya. I wouldn't go back.

JM did a bang up job handling our large table of 14 with a positive attitude. Our only concerns were that all the burger buns were burnt and the fries looked a little small. The nachos also tasted old however the rest of the food was great.

Came into BP’s for some pizza and beer and wasn’t disappointed. Great service and not too busy at all. Love the atmosphere and simple yet varied menu. I had the meteor pizza and while visually a little odd, it tasted amazing.

Horrific experience today Sunday at banff Boston Pizza location. Totally unprofessional behavior by the host. When complained about the rude behavior of the host the manager greg was totally unapologetic and instead of resolving the matter and being courteous , he started complaining that we are under staff and the host amd cooks are stressed. That was his excuse for misbehavior of the host.

great location just off of the main strip. you need go up a tall set of stairs to get to the restaurant so we carried my cousin's stroller. food was good. waitress was nice. family from NYC came to visit and they liked it very much!

My children really wanted to eat at bps and we got kicked out and publicly embarrassed. Thanks for ruining my kids first trip to Banff. Boston Pizza is my favourite place, but service could be way better. Do not want to repeat how long we waited, I was surprised when we took take out and instead of 4 cutleries we got 3 and they refused us to give a cups. Attitude was bad. Sorry guys, but honestly you don't deserve any tips.

Our server was terrible... First of all we ordered Nachos to start, along with our food. TK did not even ring in our nachos not yet get them to our table. He did not stop and ask how our food was once, nor did he refill our water and pop. We stopped another server walking past, and she efficiently refilled a pop. After a while of being finished our food, we continued to stack our plates to try and hint him to pick them up, but he continued to walk by and ignore us. Around 20 minutes after we were finished our food he picked up our plates, and brought us our receipt; without asking how to split it. We continued to wait from exactly 8:16-9:01 until we had to intervene and stop him walking past to ask for the manager. The bathrooms needed attending to, to say the least. The bathrooms should be sanitized often but there was garbage all over the floor. Our server TK, did not have his mask fully covering his face, but his social distancing was good because he never came to us. We felt like we were not only forgotten, but lesser than those that he was attending to instead of us. We will definitely not be going back to this location.

I love coming here for the Perogi Pizza and the pizza flights! Last visit we had Jay as our bartender. He was friendly, fast and made sure our experience was pleasant. 10/10 service, Thanks Jay! Can't wait to come back!

The WORST service ever First they got our order wrong and tried to charge us for extra items that we didn’t order My brother pasta was disgusting barley any sauce and the noodles weren’t cooked properly I ordered a steak medium well and it came SUPER WELL DONE after I told the service about this she didn’t do anything or ask to fix the issue And last time I checked tip is 15% but they automatically charge h 18% tip no questions asked witch I find so dumb over all worse place to go to in Banff I do not recommend at all please save your money and time and go some place else

Great location conveniently in Banff. Good service and quality as you'd expect from other BP locations. One of the items came out a bit late after ordering so they compensated us on the final bill which was a nice gesture. They are following social distancing guidelines with seating capacity which is also great practice. Went to this location twice during a 5 day vacation and would go again when in town.
