We had our wedding catered by Barn and Country last weekend and they were fantastic. We did a pig roast - our guests loved it and it tasted great! The staff were very helpful, professional and friendly. Would definitely recommend their services.

The Machining Center Inc. used their drop off catering service to provide the meal after their Annual Golf Tournament. They arrived on time, set everything up for us (including food warmers) and left us to do a buffet style meal. The food was AMAZING! We had more than enough to go around which meant for yummy leftovers for everyone the next day ( a half rack of ribs was provided for each serving!). All of the containers used were disposable, so there was no need to arrange for supplies pick up at a later date. The drop off service that didn't include having their staff serving, saved us money and also made it so they could fit us in on a tighter timeline. Everyone in the company loved the meal. They asked us to not bother with other dine-in dinner arrangements for our future tournaments. We will be repeat customers!

We had a roast pig, BBQ'd chicken and roast beef with all the trimmings and everything was delicious! Everything went so smoothly and Barn and Country was a BIG part of that. It was a pleasure to have them cater our wedding! I recommend their services for anyone looking to have catered BBQ.

[see below] Not knowing exactly how many people would show up and this being a 'drop in' thing, I was pretty cautious with my budget. Jillian was amazingly flexible and offered lots of different options including a 'pick up platter' menu that was the perfect fit for this event. The food was amazing and there was lots of it. I'm happy to continue to refer the B&C team!

Barn and Country catered our wedding this September at Polmenna Barn in Campbellford. They were terrific. The presentation of the roast pig was certainly a highlight and a talking point for our guests. The accompanying sides were also amazing. Before the wedding, Jillian was great to deal with and absolutely helped guide us through the selection of foods and planning around our big day. Truely a great experience, would definitely recommend.

My fiance and I booked Barn and Country to cater our wedding 13 months in advance, only to have them tell us they couldn't deliver on the contract 100 days before the wedding. It was really disappointing because they knew for quite some time they were having trouble getting the staff needed to do the wedding, but kept us in the dark for several months and stopped responding to emails in a timely manner. This caused a lot of avoidable stress for us. Fortunately we were able to book another caterer on short notice. Two stars because the food is quite good (we were really looking forward to it) and they at least gave us our deposit back; though not the tasting fee.

A close friend booked this service, but the wedding was cancelled a week before and it was very unexpected. He had paid a $1000 deposit even though they only requested a $500 deposit. When he asked about his deposit they will not give him any money in return. It’s very disappointing that he is now out the $1000 and the wedding of his dreams.

Through covid Jillian and her team were more then willing to accommodate our needs - which constantly changed depending on restrictions! We had originally planned a wedding meal but when that wasn't possible Jillian worked with us to deliver a disposable buffet. It was excellent and our family is pleased to recommend Barn and Country for anyone who is looking for a caterer! Excellent food and incredible customer service!

Absolutely delicious!! Recommend for any occasion!! Staff are so generous and you are greeted with a warm smile from all of them!! Enough food to feed a village!! Was so full but still wanted more!! The meat was cooked to perfection and lots of sides that were absolutely amazing!! Don't normally eat desert but could not resist as it made my mouth water just looking at it!! Five stars +++

We absolutely love the service we received! We had booked them for a large wedding and due to unforeseen events we lost our venue and decided to do a small wedding instead, knowing our deposit was non refundable and being completely understanding of their terms and conditions, during our 2 weeks of planning for the smaller wedding, I reached out to them telling them our situation, they in turn offered us a hot drop off meal that was covered by most of our deposit, and our guest and us still got to enjoy the great food and loved every bit of it, there was also more then enough food to go around !!❤️ Great company and services offered! We highly recommend to everyone big or small events!!

We recently used Barn and Country catering for a staff party. I am picky when it comes to meat (won't eat reheated meats) and was alittle concerned about getting the meat delivered hot and not over cooked. We had both turkey and beef. The turkey was fantastic but I was most impressed with the beef. It was perfectly cooked with some being well cooked and some medium rare. I don't know how they were able to deliver a roast and get it on site perfectly cooked like it just came off the BBQ. I have highly recommend Barn and Country catering to several friends and will not hesitate to use them again.

We held an engagement party at our cottage on Lake Kashwakamak this past weekend. Our sons picked up our catering order as planned. I had changed one of my saladas from potato to coleslaw during the ordering process, but we received potato salad in error. I let Jillian know about the mistake and a driver was dispatched with coleslaw inhand for the one hour drive north to navigate the cottage roads and deliver the agreed upon menu item. Unbelievable service. Truly exceptional in this day and age. The food was all very tasty and included everything necessary for our own buffet set up. Barn and Country catered for our wedding on August 30th this year. The staff were very friendly and did a great job. The food was delicious, they had pulled pork which was the best I have had in a long time. Many of the guests commented on how good the food was. We have been to many weddings in the past few years and I can say confidently that the food served by Barn and Country was by better than any others we have had. I would highly recommend them if you are looking for catering.

It is now 2 days later and I haven't received anything, not even a return phone call from my message to them. How sad is that? I have moved on because at this point hiring them would be a nightmare if they decide to either cancel or just not show up. Poor way to run a business.

Barn and Country provided a food truck to my event and it was such a hit. Mark and Willow provided friendly, courteous and professional service to all of my guests. Jillian and Mark ensured that our one guests with severe allergies was safe and included in the event without having to bring his own food. The food was incredible. We had pulled pork, brisket and chicken tacos with 3 sides. Everything was so fresh and hot. Anyone looking for a caterer for their next event should definitely use Barn and Country. We recently rented a "Hog Express" DIY Pig Roast BBQ from Barn and Country Catering for a Celebration of Life. From the initial contact, Jillian and her team were so helpful, friendly, and easy to work with. Mark and his staff prepped a perfect pig stuffed with herbs and apples. (The smell of it had our mouths watering by an hour inn to the 5 hour cook!) The pork was perfect. The salads, buns and sides were fresh and delicious. There was more than enough food for everyone with generous helpings of leftovers for family afterward. The instructions for the BBQ were clear, simple and concise. They thought of everything down to the smallest detail. The price point was very reasonable and service second to none. We will be back!

I used Barn and Country for a company event. Great communication, very friendly staff. We had Prime Rib roast, Pulled pork, salmon, and salads. They also provided buns and soft drinks. Food was amazing. They set everything up for us to do buffet style using warming trays. I will definitely be using them again for events going forward. I highly recommend them.

Barn and Country Catering helped us to celebrate our wedding. They were absolutely amazing in every way. The food was fantastic. The staff were efficient and very helpful. I have been told repeatedly by our guests that it was the best meal/menu they have had at a wedding. We chose the bbq chicken and Ribs, mac and cheese, twice stuffed potatoes, baked beans, corn on the cob and a variety of salads. The desert options were also fantastic. Jillian worked with me to create the perfect menu and she was super relaxed throughout the process. I would highly recommend Jillian and her team for your next catered event.

Our son booked this service and they asked for a $500.00 deposit and he gave them a $ 1000.00 deposit but due to wedding being cancelled service was not needed and none of deposit would be returned. This was already a stressfull time for all. They were given a weeks notice but he still lost the full amount. Buyer beware do not give more of a deposit then they ask sometimes things happen. I met Jillian at the Quinte Bridle Show last October. We had a pig roast Easter weekend for 35 people and it was fantastic.!! The meat was cooked to perfection, tender and juicy. I have never had pork so perfect. The salads and sides were delicious and all of our guests raved about the entire experience. My favourite is mac & cheese and theirs was THE best. Jillian's staff were friendly and efficient and left everything spotless. The amazing part was I didn't have to lift a finger. Everything was done. I have referred them to 3 of my friends and colleagues and can't wait for my June event to enjoy their fabulous food again. Well done Jillian. Barn and Country Catering is 5 stars in my books.
