Such a great find in the village of Baddeck! A group of us stopped in for a great, homemade, hearty lunch and we ALL bought amazing baked goods and/or sweets as we left. I highly recommend the oatcakes with peanut butter dipped in chocolate. You will not regret buying them!

Adele Theriault

Very friendly service, and the food is absolutely delicious! The prices are just right for the quality of the food. They serve a wide variety of dishes, and they make mean sandwiches with their own bread! The danish (lemon and raspberry) are awesome!!

Carrie Scherkus

Great quick breakfast before we started our day around Cape Breton. Oak cakes are phenomenal. Consider getting the boxed lunch for your day of adventure.

Nicole Hubley

Delicious grilled sandwiches. Had the Highwheeler sandwich which was a turkey dinner between the bread.

Jim T

Busy but very efficient place. Great breakfast. Pastries are fantastic. Egg and bacon and toast hit the spot.

Nick Tentomas

Great place, yummy food and excellent service!

Caroline Green

Patio dining because of covid restrictions. I had a sandwich on multigrain bread and mom had the lentil veg. soup (very thick) and beautiful gluten free bread. She liked it so much she bought a loaf to take home (along with some other bakery treats). Service was friendly and attentive. Their home baked goods looked really good. I tasted the cinnamon roll and it was moist and just enough cinnamon. We had an ice cream but it wasn't smooth, had ice crystals. But they didn't make the ice cream so I still have them 5 stars.

Chris Bing

Yummy sandwich. Good lunch spot, shame the seating outside is all in the shade.

Staff were friendly and helpful but the breakfast was tasteless. Got the eggs and toast. Eggs had no taste, most likely made from powdered eggs! Ewww! And the bread was homemade so it had no processed taste but also no taste at all. Got the …

Mary Swigonski

Best rhubarb streusel. The very best. Had some for breakfast, went back and had some more for lunch. Just might go back for some more for breakfast tomorrow!!

Great spot! Busy when we came in but service was not slow at all. Latte and the turnover were delicious. The quinoa scramble wrap was very good as well, although it was cold, unless it’s supposed to be served cold. Still very good overall, cannot wait to come back and try my bakery goods everything looked so delicious.

Terry Landry

Pricing makes sense and for the taste vs price comparison, the are cheaper than the average good food around. Service with a SMILE is not really there. Eat inside or out on the deck by the street

Sandy Reed

Sat out on the patio with friends who had a great lunch. Brought home some raisin bread and date squares were they very good. Just a great place to eat in Baddeck.

Debbie Graves

Went there twice during my stay. Alexander Graham Bell Historic Site is right down the street as well. Good find!

Great find. Simple, unassuming, but good food. Rare to find a place that has gluten free and vegan options! Lovely service, even took some goodies to go:)

Stopped here in the morning after taking the overnight ferry from Newfoundland. Exactly what we needed. Excellent bagel sandwiches and lattes. LEGIT lattes. Clean, charming, everything you could ask for.

Vitalii Opekunov

Cozy cafe that's definitely worth visiting if you're in the area. Situated downtown and walking distance from Bell's site.

Robbie Key

Delicious sandwiches. Soups. Desserts. Friendly staff. Quick service. Highly recommended when traveling through town. You can't go wrong with the nice selection of eats, especially the Cuban.

Sandra O.

Our breakfast and coffee were good - even if we had another expectation of a "Smoothie Bowl". But we didn't feel very welcome. Service was kinda unfriendly. Too bad... Fortunately, we have had better experiences during our last two weaks in Canada.

Allan MacLellan

Very pricy but delicious

Michael Conway

Tasty breakfast choices - scrambled eggs, bacon, thick sliced whole wheat toast, and bagel sandwich with egg, cheese, and tomato. Had to get chocolate peanut butter oat cookies, peanut butter cookies, and chocolate macaroons.

The apple strudel here is like nothing I have ever experienced! I don’t know what they put in those things, but they are like apple pie from the oven of god. Came back several times for them even though we were quite a drive away. Totally worth it! Also very noteworthy, the apple cranberry scone, delicious, light and fluffy, and the apple turnovers, great flaky pastry with generous amount of tasty filling. Bakers know what they are doing here, a must visit place!

Tim O'Toole

Our favorite place to stop for lunch in Baddeck. Excellent sandwiches and soups. You must try the Oat cakes

Geoff Read

We've gone to that cafe so many times during our short stay in Baddeck! The scones, the sandwiches and egg breakfast are amazing! The service is great and friendly! Grab a lunch if you're heading for a trail ;)

Just love their homemade from scratch bread to their choice of fillings. The baking is also great for times you can't or don't bake. Worth stopping in!

Alex Herbruck

This cafe has so much to choose from with the choice of indoor and outdoor seating. Try the scones.

Mark Elgar

Excellent choice for a good breakfast that is much cheaper than the one at our hotel. Opens early too. They also do great sandwiches, cookies and packed lunches. Eat in or take out.

Ashlee Einarson

Two out of the three employees there seemed like they absolutely hated being there. Especially the gentleman taking our order (glasses and bald). Zero smiles, cold service - which was quite off putting. Coffee was watery. Our blueberry …

Cam McCallum

Prices seemed a little steep, but the food came out surprisingly quickly. The baked goods looked fantastic, but I didn’t get any. My sandwich was pretty good!

Suzie Shepherd

Amazing bakery and especially gluten free bread.
