Place: L-Eat catering is owned by the same owners of Paese (next door to one another) . Food: I love that they support and believe in sustainable eating. They have an amazing menu with a variety of food options for people with dietary restrictions (amazing vegan jack fruit pulled “pork” sliders). Favourite dishes: Chicken and waffles Southern fried chicken drumette & steam whistle shooter Pinot noir duck breast The meats here are cooked to perfection. Everything is so tender and flavourful. The flavour combinations go so well together. Dessert: Chocolate peanut butter cup (peanut brittle tuile, peanut butter ice cream strawberry coulis and candied peanuts). This is something I can eat all day, everyday. The chocolate is smooth, rich and creamy. The tart itself is buttery and not too thick. The peanut butter ice cream was not too overly sweet and had a really strong peanut butter flavour. Everything just went together perfectly

I was in charge of hosting and planning my sister's engagement party and Renee Foote and her L-eat catering team did an amazing job in bringing all of the things I had visualized into reality. She made sure that this would not be a stressful time for me as she was there through every step of the way with me. Whatever I wanted or did not wanted were adjusted perfectly and quickly by Renee, ensuring the engagement party was beautifully done. The food was amazing, the service was impeccable, the floral was beautiful... basically everything was gorgeous. I honestly have no regrets and complaints with Renee and her team and will definitely choose them again if we have another event in the near future.

First, the staff are extremely responsive and knowledgeable about the quantities to suggest for a catered party, event or shive and the suggested amounts are perfect. I have used them for over 20 years and am always thrilled. The food is OUTSTANDING - so delicious! Most recently, I had a shiva meal catered: Everyone LOVED everything! From the initial meeting and brainstorm, budget revisions, through set up, the event itself, tear down and follow up - this company has set the bar. I was recently the maid of honour at my best friend Carly's wedding at Enoch Turner Schoolhouse in Toronto. It was an intimate gathering of only 80ppl but it felt very over-the-top because of the first class service we received from L-eat. Since I wanted to take some of stress off the bride, I made it my duty to liaise with the event planner & catering staff to make sure everything ran smoothly for the Mr. & Mrs. Our friends & family couldn't stop raving about the food, everything tasted amazing and presented with such style! My favourite was the pistachio-crusted halibut, delicious! My sincere thanks to Candice at L-eat who was right there every step of the way during the event making sure Carly could truly enjoy her big day. Will definitely choose this team once my special day rolls around!

A year ago, we met the owner Tony, Sal, and the team to discuss catering our wedding in under three weeks. Tony was highly professional and hands-down the best caterer in the city. The food was excellent, and to this day, our guests still can't over how exquisite everything tasted. Tony and the team are highly detail-oriented, organized and honest. Look no further this is the catering company to choose! On my first anniversary, Tony recreated our exact dinner at PAESA, an extraordinary moment for my wife and me. We had a great meal catered to my dad's place last month for a family dinner. There was about 12 of us and everything was very good. The highlight was the mushroom veal scallopini, which was outstanding. My dad is still eating the frozen left overs! Garlic bread was also great, and our only complaint would be that the gnocchi, while delicious, could have used some parmesan cheese, which was not included with the delivery. Luckily dad had some in the fridge, but I don't think Tony would approve of "kraft" parm on his gnocchi! We also had L-eat cater a large luncheon a couple of years back and everything was exceptional there as well. Would definitely recommend for any occasion.

The BBQ they have set up outside is absolutely amazing. Hands down the best burger I have had in the city. The patio is well set up for social distancing and a great place to grab a beer and a burger for a reasonable price. Highly recommend you try it out this summer!

Exceptional...and full! L’Eat delivered beyond our expectations. Our guests are still talking about our wedding food. Quality and taste in our meals were tops to us... If it is for you too, don’t hesitate. Professional and so tasty, Deirdre and team were a pleasure to work with. The service was impeccable and the food was creative, delicious and arrived at the appropriate temperature — usually a challenge for large groups! I almost never bother to review but this food was so lacking in taste I'm inspired to bother. I could not finish my Bollywood bowl. The chana masala tasted sour and was cold. The tofu had no taste. The dressing tasted only of oil. And yet the meal was expensive. Quite a disappointment

There wasn't one occasion where I asked for modifications or additions to the menu that couldn't be done. Paula is a real gem and works extremely hard to ensure the food tastes great, is presented well and also served with a smile. If I could I wouldn't even give one star. Catered for work. Cold cold and extra cold. Tough undercooked veggies and potatoe. Terrible stuffing. I wouldn't serve to a pig.

It was catered for work. Tiny containers with completely cold food. The turkey was decent but stuffing was boring and rock hard unidentifiable root vegetables terrible. Flavorless and absent of seasoning. Would have left the label off. Could give the company a bad name.

I have worked with Dana from L'eat on a of couple events for some of our most generous donors and influential philanthropists around the city...and I cannot say enough! Namely, her attention to detail is most important to me as I'm an event planner. Whether she is sending a photo of a table with dimensions to ensure we have the correct linens or bringing out a measuring tape to ensure her staff have enough space to work in a kitchen, I know I can always count on her accuracy and reliability. Last month Dana did a private fundraising dinner at one of our donor's homes and she sent me photos of the table set for dinner and the floral arrangements she'd arranged for as I couldn't be at the dinner. She went over and above to make sure I felt comfortable even though I wasn't onsite - and that is what will ensure I work with L'eat and Dana again! The food! Right...can't forget the food. When I mention L'eat around this place people go bananas! Such elegant presentation and impeccable taste. L'eat is wonderful at creating proposals that will intrigue and tease your palette! Everything is done with such intricacy and flair! I am so lucky that when I use L'eat that I am confident that not only will the service be completely professional but that the quality and taste of the food being served, will be above and beyond expectations. We had the pleasure of working with L’Eat for our wedding in PEC. Our original caterer backed out a few months before our wedding, and L’Eat stepped in as our saviours. The food was amazing - we had so many guests compliment the meal. The portions were plentiful (so much smoked brisket!!); no one left hungry. Above that, Deirdre and the team were great to work with, both planning the event and executing it. The service staff were friendly, professional and made sure all our guests had what they needed throughout the night. They also went out of their way to come up to my husband and I to congratulate us, give us their best wishes etc. on our special day. We would not hesitate to recommend them, and hope we can have them cook for us again soon :)

Deirdre was so wonderful to work with, she made everything so easy and didn't flinch when I requested two Kosher meals be added very late in the planning! All of our guests raved about the food - one of our guests was even stalking the servers to get more of the Lobster grilled cheese!! Excellent service from initial contact to end of event clean up. Our event was outdoors during Covid-19 in early September so there were tricky elements to navigate - all of which were executed seamlessly and exceeded our expectations. The event planner, Savanah, was exceptional in her professionalism and attention to detail. Also, the lead staff, Eva, made a lasting impression with her above and beyond style of service and organization at the event. Many guests commented on her amazing service with a smile! As for the food, it was delicious and perfect for our gathering. Shout out to the short rib parfait and the sliders. Special mention for the watermelon barrels stuffed with feta mousse. Original and delicious. Would absolutely recommend L'Eat Catering and will use again for future events.

I work in the apparel industry and we used L-eat Catering for our recent staff party in Toronto. It was an outdoor event, barbeque-style with food stations set up all around. Our employees especially loved the short ribs and mac n'cheese…and the gelato station might have been my favourite! The event staff were professional yet fun, hard-working and upbeat. Dana/L-eat even helped us book a couple entertainers for the day, which was a big surprise to everyone. We've ordered office catering on a couple occasions and the sandwiches/salads are always on time and delicious, so it was nice to try catering on a larger-scale event and see that they lived up to our expectations yet again!

I personally dealt with Renee Foote who was extremely helpful and professional while deciding on our menu selections and what would suit our needs best. The food was delicious! From freshly made smoothies, to make your own omelette and fresh baked goods, everyone who made it to the event raved about how exceptional the food tasted! The staff was very friendly and professional. Renee chose floral arrangements that really brought the atmosphere to life!
